I run and run and run more
My heart hurts, searing pain strikes
But I continue my mission and run
I can sense his presence in the castle
It surrounds me and I breathe him in
As I turn the corner I see him
My dark angel standing still
Most likely listening to my fast approach
I leap into his arms
And cling to him with all my strength
I pull back and let go of him
Grip his face and look
Into his deep black orb-like eyes
I scan his body for marks
And I find it on his neck
The proof of his pain and suffering
Of his loyalty to me and the Order
I am so thankful he is okay
Especially when he finally proclaims
“I love you.”
