Chapter Two: A Dream Where I Cannot Wake Up...
Ginny tapped Hermione’s face, she was now frightened that maybe she had hurt herself. Hermione was now out for almost five minutes.
“Hermione please wake up,” Ginny pleaded as she slapped her face lightly.
Hermione stirred in Ginny‘s arms.
“Ginny?” she groggily said as she stared in the eyes of the red head.
Ginny sighed in relief.
“What happened? Are you okay?” she asked.
Ginny helped Hermione to a sitting position.
Tears fell as she looked at the red head.
Ginny hugged her friend wondering if she was hurt.
“Hermione what is it?” she said in a concerned voice.
Hermione cried into her hands.
“It’s pink Gin.”
Ginny gasped, “No it can not be.”
Ginny quickly looked around seeing the pregnancy test she quickly slid to it grabbing the stick.
Ginny dropped the stick in horror looking at her friend.
“Merlin Hermione you’re pregnant.”
Hermione slid her knees to her chest and cried, “What am I going to do Ginny?”
Ginny slid to sit by her friend, placing a comforting kiss on her forehead as she spoke, “I’m here for you Hermione; I’ll be here don’t worry.”
Hermione looked at her friend her lips trembling as she spoke, “I’m scared I‘m only seventeen what am I going to do?”
Ginny gulped her tears blurred her vision.
She wanted to say that she did not have to be afraid but she knew she could not lie to Hermione.
"You'll be eighteen soon," Ginny said.
"Whoopie! Eighteen," Hermione said sarcastically.
“I know you’re scared but I will be with you every step of the way. I can not let my niece or nephew not be spoiled rotten.”
Hermione chuckled at Ginny’s words.
Ginny looked at Hermione with wide eyes she was afraid of her friends answer.
“Hermione are you keeping it?” Hermione’s eyes flew up to her face with a hard stare.
“Of course I am I am not killing my baby and I am not giving it up for adoption.”
Ginny breathed a sigh of relief.
“Good, when are you going to tell your parents, bloody hell when are you going to tell Harry and Ron?”
Hermione’s eyes widened in fear.
“Bloody fuck I don’t know. I can not tell them now I can‘t, I can‘t.”
Ginny nodded sitting with her friend she smiled, “You will when you’re ready. However, you have to tell them before you show.”
Hermione agreed with her friend.
She sighed smoothing her hair from her wet face.
“So what are you hoping for?” Hermione smiled at her friends’ question.
“I just want a healthy baby.”
Ginny beamed looking at Hermione’s tummy.
“You are going to be a wonderful mother Hermione.”
“I hope so,” Hermione said hopefully.
She rubbed her flat tummy hoping Ginny was right.
Hermione and Ginny sat together knowing that Hermione’s life will never be the same.
