Chocolate-Covered Goodness
My recipe for Chocolate-Dipped Oreos
Ingredients:
2 doz. Oreo® cookies, any variety
2 4.5-oz. or 5-oz. dark chocolate (62-70%) bars
Chocolate sprinkles, colored sprinkles, Hundreds and Thousands (opt.)
- Take 1 or 2 round plates.
- Cover plates with wax paper.
- Set aside.
- Melt the chocolate in a double boiler until liquid.
- Carefully dip Oreo® cookies one at a time in the melted chocolate until completely coated.
- Lay cookies on the prepared plates.
- Sprinkle with optional ingredients, if desired.
- Stick in the freezer or refrigerator for 1 hour.
- Remove cookies carefully from wax paper.
- Store in tins and keep refrigerated.
- Enjoy, either with milk or vanilla ice cream.
