Draco Malfoy yawned into the crook of his elbow as he made his way down the stairs to the common room. It was the middle of the night and he woke up to the sound of music floating up the stairs.

It had taken him a moment before he realized that his dorm mate Blaise Zabini was missing from his bed. And, with a groan he promptly lifted himself from his bed and dragged himself down the stairs. "He had better have a good explanation for this," It came out more dangerous sounding than it was supposed to.

As he stepped into the common room he found Blaise sitting in a chair by the fire place. Wrapped around him was a dark blue blanket and classical music came from the Sound Orb floating above the table. Draco almost let out a whinning type noise when he noticed that a mug of hot chocolate was firmly gripped in his best friends hand.

He held his breath before letting it out in a huff and walking across the room. Deciding to get the conversation over with. Apparently, his best friend had something on his mind that was keeping him awake. Which explained the hot chocolate.

"Oh," Blaise said in surprise when Draco plopped into the seat across from him as ungracefully as possible. "Hey, Dray." The shorter blonde openly glared at him, almost causing him to cringe. Draco's glares could freeze you if you let them. Well, not literally but, you get the point.

Blaise quickly gave his wand a flick and a mug of coffee appeared in front of Draco. "Thank you." The boy said with a biting sarcastic tone. Two mugs of coffee later, Draco looked over at his companion. "Alright, what's on your mind?"

Obviously startled, Blaise glared at his friend before snuggling deeper into his blanket. "Well," He paused looking unsure of himself. Draco rose an eyebrow, not used to such an expression on his friends face.

"Blaise," The boys chocolate eyes glanced up at him before looking back at the fire. "Blaise, You can ask me anything," Draco finished just as Blaise looked at him again.

"How did you find out you were gay?" Draco's eyebrows shoot into his hair line, completely disappearing from view. Blaise cringed at the reaction. Sinking even deeper into his blanket when his friend just sat there.

Draco blinked a couple times as the question actually sunk in. Then, he realized that Blaise was waiting for an answer. "Um, well," He tried before he thought of something to say. "I had to test out my notions."

"What?" His tone was confused and Draco paused before trying again.

"I thought that Oliver Woods was hot." Blaise nodded, this wasn't new information. "That was the first time that I had ever found a guy attractive." His chocolate eyes widened. Oh, that's where this was going. "And, It scared me Blaise. It scared the shit out of me."

Blaise nodded remembering when his friend had finally come out of the closet to him. "I know." Draco smiled wryly.

"Yeah. Well, I had to test the attraction factor." Blaise once more looked confused and Draco sighed. "I started to look at other guys, Blaise. Like you would a girl. To see if it was only Wood." His friend nodded in understanding. "It finally got to the point that I had to kiss someone to figure it out."

"So, you kissed some random guy to see if you were gay or not." The sarcastic remark had Draco glaring at Blaise.

"Of course not you twit. I picked someone out, thank you very much." Draco stated pompously. "I had everything planned out. I knew exactly when Boot was going to walk past that suit of armor." The pause had Blaise raising an eyebrow. "It wasn't my fault that Boot was late and Harry came walking by."

"Harry?" The shocked look almost made Draco laugh.

"Yes, Potter." Draco said while rolling his eyes. "Apparently, Harry had been questioning his sexuality as well." Blaise barked out a laugh.

"Oh, the irony." Draco chucked a pillow at his friend and let out a chuckle.

"Alright, laugh at my expense! But, at least I have a boyfriend!" Draco said as another pillow hit Blaise upside the head.

"Okay! Okay!" Blaise called raising his hands in surrender. "So, it took you kissing another guy to see that you were gay?"

"Yes, you dolt." It was more affectionate, than insulting causing a grin to come over Blaise's face.

"So, it didn't take anything more, right? You knew just by that kiss right?" Draco nodded and Blaise sighed in relief.

"Why?"

"Well, Seamus Finnegan kissed me yesterday," Blaise trailed off when Draco let out a startled laugh.

"And, this made you question your sexuality because, you were turned on right?" Blaise nodded before the two erupted into laughter once more.

"What are you two doing?" The slightly shrill voice interuppted their laughter and they looked shocked up at Pansy Parkinson. Pansy glared harshly at the two. "Would you mind explaining to me why you two are sitting in the common room laughing like hyena's at three in the morning?"

"Blaise wanted to know if he was gay or not." Draco stated plainly as if it was the most normal answer. Blaise rolled his eyes and sighed. Pansy looked back and forth between the two for a moment.

"And, you really think that three in the morning is the appropriate time to be discussing this?" The two looked at one another before looking back to Pansy nodding. She let out a groan of frustration. "And, what was the conclusion?"

"Yes." Blaise said with as little emotion as possible just to annoy Pansy.

"Yes?" Pansy questioned with a glare. "Yes, what?"

"Yes, Pansy. Blaise is gay." The shocked look on her face was worth it as the two laughed again.

"Really?" The two nodded and a let down look crossed her features. "Well, that's just great! First, Draco. Then, Potter. And, now you Blaise? Ugh! You guys are so hot. It's such a waste!"

Draco rolled his eyes. "You're one to talk Pansy. You're beautiful," Blaise snorted. "And, you're dating Luna Lovegood!" Pansy waved a hand.

"True, whatever. Alright," The two chuckled. "Are you finished with this conversation?" Nodding ensued. "Fine, Good, now go to bed!" She promptly shooed the two out of the common room and back to the boys dorms. "Goodnight boys!" Draco and Blaise nodded and she disappeared into the girls dorms.

"This has happened at least once a week since first year. You'd think she'd be used to it by now." Blaise stated looking innocently at the blonde. Draco glared and smacked him upside the head.

"Anything else?" Blaise shook his head in the negative and Draco smiled. "Goodnight, Blaise." He said before diving under the covers on his bed, pulling them tightly around himself. Blaise chuckled while rubbing his head.

"Night Dray." With that he got into bed himself and pointed his wand at the lights. "Nox."
