Chapter 2

I began to look around the cabin. Picking up papers and looking in books that were lying around. I went to the bedroom and looking at the bedside tables in the draws and anything else I could see. Not finding what I was looking for I went back to the men. Of course they would have it, a wand, on them not hidden somewhere! I moving to the brown haired one first and began to search his closer.

“What are you doing!” the blond said. “You can’t just barge into someone’s house, look through their things and begin to feel them up!”

“I gave you a change to talk you didn’t. I warned you that I would find out what I want to know and I will. Think of me as a Slytherin use what ever means to reach the end. I was not feeling him up I was looking for something. Now excuse me but I’m not done.”

“Oh yes you are!” said the brown haired man.

“No I’m not. I think I know something but maybe this would make it easier.” I quickly turned on the blond and grabbed his left wrist and pulled up his sleeve. A tattoo was on his forearm of a scull and a snake. Gasping out wide eyed I whispered “It can’t be.” I dropped the arm and backed away looking at the man then back to the arm back to the man and then to the other two. “It can’t be true; it’s only a story only in a book, right?”

They were all silent and staring at me as I look around wildly muttering to myself. Slowly coming back to myself I slowly turned to the brown haired man.

“Is your name Remus Lupin?” I asked softly. There was not response. “No maybe not, for that would make no sense cause from what I read you hate Severus Snape and Lucius Malfoy and you two are most defiantly them.” Once again I was met with silence. “You must be wondering how I know this. Right? You’re all mentioned in a book series called Harry Potter written by JK Rowling. How she knows about your world I don’t know but she wrote about Harry’s experience at Hogwarts and his adventures you three are sub characters to the story. Now it is most likely true that she changed some of the things that really happened to fit her version of the story since Remus here hates you two unless you Remus are a death eater as well and then that would change a lot more of the story. I doubt that since you are camping in a Muggle inhabited area and doing so from what I can see willingly.”

“What is this book you speak of” asked the blond.

“Now I know you don’t live in this world. Anyone who lives here has at least heard if not read about Harry Potter. My name is Mandy; it’s a pleasure to meet you.” I extended a hand to the blond.

“Lucius, it’s my pleasure. Now tell me about this book you were speaking of.”

“Severus, Remus I presume?” I turned to the others with a quick nod.

“You are correct, I to am most curious about this book it seem to have some facts wrong. “ Said the brown haired one named Remus. I sat on the couch taking my shoes off and pulling my feet up underneath me getting ready for a long night. The other sat down around me. Lucius was on the couch beside me, Remus in one of the rocking chairs and Severus at the table. After everyone was settled I began to tell the story I was obsessed with.

“Well it starts off with a boy named Harry Potter who was left on the front step of number 4 Privet drive. He was only a baby then and his parents were just killed. It then skips to age 11 and tells a little bit about his home life. He was ill treated, locked in a cupboard under the stairs. He cooked all of the meals and did all of the household chores. He had some trouble getting his Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry letter since his family hates anything that involves magic. They burned or ripped all of his letters thinking that they will stop coming but they didn’t. So they moved and Hagrid the ground and key keeper at Hogwarts came to take him to school and buy his school supplies. They go to Diagon Alley where he has his first encounter with the magic world. Hagrid was the first person to tell him about Vold…er I mean You-Know-Who don’t know if the name bothers you like they say in the book. Is everything right so far?”

“Yes and you can say his name we all don’t mind.”

“Ok when they were at Gringotts Hagrid got a strange package and had to leave Harry at Kings Cross and he had to find platform 9 3/4 by himself. Here is where he meets up with Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger. Upon arriving at Hogwarts he meets Draco Malfoy, Draco offers his hand of friendship but Harry refuses.” Lucius interrupts there.

“Wait, they become friends, best friends why did he refuse.” Asked Lucius

“Well that changes a lot of the story. He was making fun of Ron and since he was his first real friend he stuck up for Ron.”

“Well that part could be true my son and Ron didn’t get along at first but he never out right insulted him and they quickly became friends.” Said Lucius

“Well that hasn’t happened yet in the books. Now when he had the Sorting Hat on his head he begged it to not place it in Slytherin because he heard that all the wizards who came from that house was bad. So it placed him in Gryffindor. The first day of classes Harry meets you Severus and if I can quote it correctly you said something like this. ‘There will be not wand waving or silly incantations in this class. As I expect most of you won’t have the patients for the subtle silence and exact art of potions making. But for the select few who carry the predisposition. I can tell you how to bewitch the mind and ensnare the senses I can tell you how to bottle fame brew glory and even put a stopper in death. And there are others of you who feel their abilities are so minimal that they do not pay attention. Ahh Mr. Potter our new celebrity. Tell me what would I get if I added Assafert to and infusion of Wormwood? You don’t know? Well let’s try again where would you go if I asked you to find a Bezel? Harry whispers I don’t know sir. You continue with what is the difference between Monkshood and Wolfbane? He repeats I don’t know sir. You say humm clearly fame isn’t everything is it Mr. Potter.”

“I never said all of that! Sure the first part is how I start all of my first year classes. I have to make the students respect me and it gives the class some dynamic. I never signaled Harry out though.” Severus was appalled.

“Odd you hate Harry, you think of him as a carbon copy of James his father and since you hate James you hated Harry. It then goes to flying practice where Harry flies after Neville Longbottom’s Rememberal. Draco threw it and is then places on the Gryffindor Quidditch team. His first Quidditch game consisted of him almost falling off of a broom cause of a cursed broom. Harry and his two friends Ron and Hermione say it was Snape cursing the broom. Hermione lights said persons cloak on fire to break the eye contact of the professor. Harry wins the game by catching the snitch.” I paused there to see if they were going to stop me. No one talked. And I continued. “We then skip to Halloween when Professor Quirrell comes running in blabbering about a troll in the dungeons and then faints. Earlier that day Ron and Hermione had a little fight and Hermione was in the girls bathroom crying. Harry and Ron go to find Hermione to get her back to the common room and run into the troll. They defeat the troll with the newly learned Wingardium Leviosa charm and knocked the troll out with his club. Professor McGonagall, Professor Dumbledore, and Professor Snape find them. Harry sees blood on Snape’s leg. On the way to somewhere the staircase moves and they end up on the third floor the closed off area but go on anyways. Filch comes and they hide in a locked room where they meet up with a three headed dog.” I pause again since one of them wants to talk.

“What is odd about all of this is that Draco isn’t involved in any of this. We also never knew how they knocked out the troll but from what it looked like that sound right.” Said Severus

“You have to remember the Harry I know hated Draco they were enemies, rivalries. They would insult and hex each other any chance they could. They were both the leader of their respective house and would fight for there house. The thought that they could be friends is almost impossible to me. Keep in mind that I am skipping a lot of stuff as I’m going through the book. They then go and talk to Hagrid and talk about the game and the fact the Snape was trying to kill Harry. The three headed dog which they find is named Fluffy is Hagrid’s dog and is guarding something that is strictly between Albus Dumbledore and Nicholas Flamel. This begins their search for Nicholas Flamel. They find out about the Sorcerer’s Stone and make a plan to get down and stop Snape from getting the stone. On a detention in for being at Hagrid after curfew they were in the Forbidden Forest to find a wounded Unicorn and meet up with a black cloaked thing that was drinking the blood of the Unicorn. We then find out that that was Voldemort. They decide to go down one time when Dumbledore isn’t around to get the stone.”

“So they found out about the stone through Hagrid. The only thing that is different is that Draco and Harry were friends, Severus wasn’t so cruel, and that Dumbledore was at Hogwarts and didn’t do anything to stop what was going on. Do you know what happened in with the stone?”

“Yeah, Fluffy falls asleep to music they land on to devils snare which they escape using the sun since Ron wouldn’t relax, they get to a room with flying keys Harry gets the one to open the next door, that one has a chest board and they play their way to the next door where there is a bunch of potions bottle and Hermione solves the riddle Harry goes on. In the room he meets with Professor Quirrell is there and he has Voldemort on his head, Harry and Voldy Moldy pants talk. Harry gets the stone since someone who wanted to find the stone find it but not use it could get it. Harry refuses to give up the stone and Quirrell tries to kill him but Harry burns him to a crisp with his mothers love or something like that. Harry passes out and wakes in the infirmary.”

“Voldy Moldy pants?” asked Severus.

“Oh yeah that’s the nickname that I gave him thought it was amusing.” I said shrugging.

“It’s getting late you should get going back to your cabin” said Remus.

“Can I come back to visit sometime?” I asked.

“Of course” said Remus. I turned to the others wanting their acceptance before I left.

“Mandy, I like you and I want to hear about Harry’s other years.” Said Lucius

“Thank you Sir” I said and turned to Severus and said “do I have your permission Sir?”

“Yes Mandy you do.” He said I looked up and smiled then turned to the door before turning and waving and saying goodnight.
