*~*Just so everyone knows Wynter is older then Harry by almost a whole year so she was around two when Voldemort "died". Since she is Seventeen (just turned) that means Harry is still sixteen, however they are both in the sixth year.~*~

"As you may know Miss VonRaven it is strange for someone your age to be just be starting out at Hogwarts, but there is a reason your were sent here. You are aware your mother went here I presume, but what you may not be aware of is that she had ties with.... Less then amiable people, and before she left for America she was mere steps away from becoming a death eater and even closer to marrying Lucius Malfoy, but luckily for most parties involved she had a change of heart and fled and in the process she met your dear father." He graciously paused a moment to let it all sink in. He was right, she hadn't known her mother was almost a death eater, she had been told she went abroad to be "worldly" and to sate some curiosity, not to escape the dark lord. She took a breath.
"Please continue Headmaster." He nodded.

" Needless to say Voldemort was very upset to learn that his prized convert was no longer within his reach, and for years he didn't stop looking for her, he found her after your first birthday but just before he was going to pay her a visit he paid a visit to the Potter's and met his decline. Your mother thought you would be safe in California, she thought that he was gone for good, a lot of people did, but he's on the rise again and he doesn't want your mother anymore, he wants you."

"But why would he want me instead of my mother? Im only half veela, and I may excel in magic but there are many who do, plus im American, didn't I read somewhere that he thinks American wizards are right up there with muggles seeing as how most American witches and wizards arnt pure bloods. Why on earth would he want me im not pure in any sense." She blushed slightly, realizing she had raised her voice to this kind old wizard.

" Oh dear they didn't tell you did they... They assured me you would be informed on that matter. Well I suppose I must take it upon my self to tell you, but first I must ask you if you know what an incubus is." unfortunately she didn't know much about them, except the fact that they seemed to be a myth of sorts in the wizarding community but according to muggle folklore incubi have abilities much like the Veela. Not knowing for sure what they were she opted for a no.

" Well an incubus is a male magical being, who until recently we thought was extinct. They are as powerful as they are beautiful, they can influence the minds of women, alter memories, steal the life force of others, and they live for hundreds of years, and history shows that they are rather exceptional at wizardry."

"Okay, but with all due respect why are you telling me about them, what do they have to do with me?"

"Well Miss VonRaven, your father is the last known incubus."
