Chapter 2
Landing on his backside with an 'oof', wincing because of the hard parquet flooring, Harry groaned then managed to get to his feet. Rubbing his sore hindquarters, sure they were bruised, he looked around at what appeared to be the entrance hall of one of the bigger stately homes. Though the air seemed a bit musty, like it hadn't been aired out for a long time, it was sparkling clean. The furnishings, though, looked really old fashioned to him, like something out of the Victorian era. Curious, he wanted to go exploring, wondering about the home, but stayed put, waiting to see what was going on. It was then Sirius' voice drew his attention.
Turning in the direction he heard it, he grinned when he saw his godfather there, leaning against the jamb, smiling at him. “Sirius!” He said, walking towards him. Perfect! It went just how Sirius wanted it to. That and Sirius looked far better. He was dressed nicely, though in clothes that seemed to look like they were fashionable earlier in the century, with his hair combed out and his beard trimmed into something far nicer. Great!Pulling Harry into a tight hug, Sirius asked, after breaking it off, “There were no problems getting out?”“Went fine,” Harry assured him, unable to stop grinning. “We took a walk down by the lake and were seen by plenty of people, including a couple of teachers, when I just vanished. All I brought with me were the photo album Hagrid put together for me, the one that has pictures of mum and dad in it, and my Invisibility Cloak. I'm sure that the cloak will make it clear I'm gone in some way or lean them towards thinking I might have known, but I wasn't leaving it behind.”Slipping an arm around Harry's shoulders then starting to lead his godson into one of the sitting rooms, Sirius told him, “That's fine. I'm not sure if it will if you're known for using it, but, either way, it doesn't matter. It's something I wouldn't have expected you to leave behind. And I'm sure it'll be most helpful for both of us in this mess. The album—how many know about it? Do you know?”“Only a couple of people that I know of,” Harry told him, allowing himself to be led along. “Hagrid, obviously. Ron and Hermione do, I think. Not sure there. So, it's not something I'm sure will be missed. Either way, it wasn't something I was leaving. Everything else stayed, including my broom propped up just where it always is.”“Perfect,” Sirius smiled. Guiding Harry into the room and having him take a seat then sending for something to drink for both of them, Sirius flopped down on the settee across from him with a groan. Grinning, he said, “This was the biggest part of the mess. As it went fine, we should be good from here on out. Hermione was going to make it look good? And do you think she can manage?”“We were talking away when I just vanished, after saying goodbye. I made sure no one was close enough to hear. The plan was to walk down and see Hagrid as I was sure that plenty would see us. They did, from what I could tell.”“Perfect,” Sirius grinned, nodding. “I'm sure they did, especially if teachers were out there and how nice it is outside. Did you get the map back from Remus without a problem?”“We did and Hermione has it. I made sure to show her how to use it, too. I did the best I could when it came to acting normally around him. He seemed happy that you got away and all we accomplished.” Harry explained. Shaking his head, he added, “We made sure he didn't think anything was off. The only thing slightly there was that Hermione was with me. That wouldn't seem that odd, though, as the three of us tended to stick together.” Stopping, he looked at Sirius then asked, quietly, “If I go about it the Muggle way and don't put an address on it, can I at least let her know I got away fine? That's easy enough and I won't sign it. Just like a postcard or something. I'm sure she'll worry. And, with all she did, she deserves that.”Thinking that over, Sirius gave a slow nod. “We'll do that if you know how to go about it the Muggle way and are sure it's safe. Not right away, of course, but before we get out of the country and after school has let out.”Happy with that, Harry assured him, “I know how and anyone Magical wouldn't look for something like that.”“Just before we leave the country, or after, if we can manage, you can send something off for her.” Sirius told him. Leaning back and draping an arm over the back of the settee, Sirius said, “Let's do a rundown of what we need to take care of before we get out of here. And it's a ton that won't be easy. We'll manage, though. After that, I'll give you an idea of the plan I have to get us out of here.” Seeing Harry nod, looking interested, though he appeared to have some nerves about it, Sirius pressed on, “I need your signature on a couple of forms today. Those are for Gringotts. What I'm doing is transferring our funds to the international section so we can access them from anywhere. That and they are checking over investments both of us have.” Before Harry could ask, he assured him, “The goblins won't say anything to anyone. No one in the government, or anyone else, despite connections, can access that information or any information on our vaults. So, we're safe there. We'll need the money to do what we are planning, obviously.”“Good,” Harry nodded, slightly relived that there wasn't a way to trace those bits like there were in the Muggle world. “I assumed we'd need the money and was wondering how we were going to manage.”“It's handled. I just need you to sign the forms for yours, nothing more,” Sirius assured him with a grin. “Once I get those, I'm taking you into a town not far from here, a Muggle one, to get everything you need, like clothes and that. We're not going to chance going anywhere among our kind until we're out of the country.”Clothes and that weren't something Harry had thought about in more than passing, so he nodded, then grinned nervously, “Those are something I'll need, that's for sure. How are we going to manage that, though? Even the Muggles had you on the news after the breakout. And my scar is really noticeable.”“I know a couple spells that will conceal who we are for a few hours,” Sirius assured him. “We'll manage. It shouldn't take that long as I'll get your sizes before we go.” Looking at Harry's glasses, he sighed, “We need to do something about your glasses as well. Those are really noticeable and people remember them. I think we can do that among Muggles, too.”“We can,” Harry assured him. “There are even Muggles places that can do them in an hour. Most big cities have those.”“Perfect,” Sirius grinned, relieved. “We'll go about it that way. I think I can change them long enough to tend to that without destroying the plastic or making them useless. Any longer and it probably would. I'll make sure that we do that right before we leave.” Though this was just the mundane, though bits Harry needed to know, Sirius thought it was best to go over it first so Harry was calm. There was bound to be some nerves on his godson's part over what happened. If he got him focused elsewhere and filled him in, he was more likely to stay calm and not worry about it.Pressing on, Sirius told him, “Once we get that attended to, we've got to wait for Gringotts to do their bit. While we do that, there are bits I need to take care of in the house I grew up in. It's nothing major, there are just some things I want to grab that are personal. I'm also going to have the goblins take on locking down all our properties so no one can get in them but us.”“I have property somewhere?” Harry asked, brow drawn down in confusion. Shaking his head, he told him, “I assumed I had nothing but that vault Hagrid gave me the key to.”Rubbing a hand over his face, groaning, Sirius sighed then looked at his godson. This wasn't something he had expected either. He'd handle it, though, as it needed done. “You have several properties, Harry. Some of them quite valuable as well. And that vault you have the key to is your school vault. It contains the money you would need for whatever to get you through school. From what I saw, you have several vaults from your parents. I'm not sure what's in them, of course, but they are there. When I send these papers off, I'll get an accounting of what you have so we know.” Looking down, he shook his head then muttered, “Bloody hell.” Glancing back up at his wide-eyed godson, he asked, “No one ever told you about your vaults and that? I assumed someone would, like your aunt. After all, she had to get the paperwork on that when they took you in and got the stipend to take care of you.”“As far as I know, she got nothing.” Harry told him softly, once more thinking that Hermione was plenty right in that something was off here. “I was left on her doorstep with just a note. That's all. Nothing else as far as I know. They've always made a point to tell me how much money it took to take me in and care for me.”Shutting his eyes, head dropping back and groaning, Sirius told him, “Something is really wonky with that. Let me see what the goblins might know. If they don't, I'm not digging too much, at least now. Once we get out and are safe, I'll see what I can do.” Looking back at his godson, he shook his head then said, “Your dad was quite wealthy. He was the only child of a Pureblood couple whose linage goes back about as far as mine. There is a ton of old money involved there. How much—that I don't know, but I'll find out. One way or another.” Scrubbing a hand over his face then smoothing down his whiskers, he sighed then added, “I guess Hermione was right; there is a lot wrong here. Tonight, once we get all settled in, we'll talk about it a bit more so I can see if I can figure out what's going on.”“Something is way off,” Harry said softly, shaking his head. Already his mind was all over trying to figure out what this could mean. It also shored up the doubts he had about this, telling him he did the right thing. As he was now here, those where nagging him once more. After all, he had just met Sirius. Despite the fact that the man was his godfather, he hadn't known he had one until the previous summer. There was a familiar feel about him now that he was sitting here, one that didn't set off danger signals, but there were still some doubts.“We'll figure it out eventually,” Sirius soothed, smiling at Harry. “Whatever it is we just threw it completely off with this stunt. That might reveal more. At least I hope. Either that or it's going to give us clues.” Changing topics, he asked, gently, “Will Hermione be able to hold up under questioning? If she can without giving any hints that she knew anything, she'll be in the clear once they're done.”Grinning hugely and chuckling, Harry told him, “If anyone can, it's Hermione. I'm not worried there. She'll manage to give up everything she can to keep them running in circles without revealing what really happened. That and I'm sure she's going to toss out some bits that will have them going round the bend.” Sobering up, thinking about his friends, Harry gave a soft sigh and looked down. There was a pang in his chest as he thought about them and how he wouldn't see them anymore.“This was the right thing to do, Harry,” Sirius soothed. Standing up, he made his way over to where his godson was seated and slid an arm around him. “She was right; something is dung smelling here and you needed to get out. We're doing that. It might hurt now, probably a lot with what I know is going on and the bit with your family, but we'll press on together.” Grinning, he added, giving Harry a squeeze, “And have plenty of fun while doing it. That I'll make sure of.” Lowering his voice, he added, “I'm not all stodgy like other adults. I like to have a lot of fun. So, we'll get up to plenty and have fun while we do it.”
Nodding, Harry looked at him, feeling his stomach still clenching over so much. It felt good, but there was plenty of guilt over so much as well, not to mention he was already missing a number of people.Giving Harry a squeeze, Sirius softened his voice then told him, “We'll be fine. I know it hurts a bit now, as would be expected, but it's for the best. We'll find plenty to keep us occupied then we'll have the adventure of going overseas. That will be something both of us will like as I haven't done that before and doubt you have either.”“I haven't, Harry admitted, looking at him and smiling just a little. “I've always wanted to, though.” Clearing his throat, trying to push aside what he was feeling, he asked, “Where are we going anyway?”“Once we get this mess settled, Russia for a time,” Sirius grinned, nudging him. “Just outside of Moscow, to be exact. My family has a home there. We'll spend most of the summer there so I can get plenty settled. Then we'll be moving on to settle in South America for the foreseeable future. We might spend a bit of time in the States before we do that, though. I'm thinking we'll eventually settle in the very tip of Chile, down at the very bottom. That's far enough away from the mess and should keep us safe. Once things here settle down, we're going to travel all over. Maybe, before we settle in Russia, we might stop in a couple of the big cities in Europe to relax. Either that or go to Russia via Africa. As long as we avoid Egypt, we should be fine. And, over the years, we're going to keep everyone scrambling by having sightings of you all over the world.” With that, Sirius grinned and gave him a squeeze. “That should keep them on their toes and send them scuttling, don't you think? Not to mention it'll be fun for us to watch the fallout!”Once more grinning just a little, Harry nodded, “It would be.” Smiling again, he said, softly, “We're going to get to see the world. I've always wanted to do that.”“We are and we're going to have fun doing it,” Sirius assured him. “I'll make damned sure of that. Not to mention that I think it's something that we'll both enjoy after all we've been through.” Though he wanted to get into the whole bit since going to Hogwarts, what happened there, what was up with Harry's family and all the rest, Sirius didn't think this was the time to do that. Instead, he wanted his godson to relax before they had to tackle that. He felt it was something he needed to know so the two of them could sort through it to see just what was going on then try to figure out the why behind so much. They would start on that tomorrow, when Harry calmed down and relaxed. This had to be hard on him, despite the front he put on. Besides, the two of them didn't really know each other. That had to come, too.Leaning over, holding Harry close, Sirius gave him a kiss on the temple. Reaching up and trying to smooth down the tousled hair on Harry's head, he told his godson, “We'll get to know each other, too. I've wondered all these years how you were. And you'll get to know me. I admit I'm probably not a great parental figure, but we'll do fine. All we're going to have to remember is to stay alert and keep ourselves protected. Between the two of us, we'll do fine, Harry.” Softening his voice, he added, “Your dad and mum wouldn't have made me your godfather if they hadn't trusted me with you. So, you're perfectly safe. Keep that in mind. That and the fact that this is what they wanted if something happened to them. People thought it was strange, because of how I was, but they knew I would take good care of you.”Leaning against Sirius, though hesitant about that, Harry gave a soft sigh. This felt good. No one, other than Mrs. Weasley or Hermione ever hugged him. And it felt great. “We'll manage,” he said softly. Pressing tighter against Sirius, he asked, “Where are we anyway?” He figured that was a good place to start when it came to sorting out so much. It would at least get normal conversations going.“In the middle of the Ashdown Forest,” Sirius told him, holding him close. “It’s what my parents called a 'getaway cabin'. It’s bloody huge, is what it is, honestly. Like a mansion. And it's perfectly safe. They had every protection any paranoid Pureblood family could put on it and then some. I'm damned sure my father invented a few spells to make it better protected. We're perfectly safe here and no one will find it. It's my thought that no one even knows about it. Of course, no one has been in the place since I was in school, so it needs a good cleaning. The two elves in residence are taking care of that. We're just going to use this floor and the one above it. The second floor is where our bedrooms will be. As we won't be here long, we'll be fine with just that. Plus, we can get outside and walk around. There is plenty of room for that.” Giving his godson a squeeze, he added, “We're both perfectly safe here. Nothing at all to worry about. I can easily protect the both of us. I promise.”“We'll be fine,” Harry said softly, smiling at that thought. He was out. For the first time in his life, he was out and somewhere safe with the person that his parents wanted him to be with. And that felt bloody amazing. Quietly thanking Hermione once more, he began to ask Sirius all kinds of questions about the place, curious, as they would be staying here for a while.
Twisting the tail of her shirt with one hand, Hermione huffed then looked around. At the moment, she was in Professor Dumbledore's office. It was late afternoon by now and everyone finally realized that Harry was really gone. She had put up a good front and carried on like normal until she got to Hagrid's hut. It was then she 'noticed' Harry wasn't with her. By then an alarm had sounded that she and Harry hadn't thought about; the wards around Privet Drive had come down, sounding something with Professor Dumbledore that alerted him that there was a problem. While she and Hagrid had looked around the grounds, asking people that had seen them if they had noticed Harry, the aging headmaster was in somewhat of a dither himself because he couldn't figure out what was wrong or how the wards fell. After all, Harry was supposedly safe here on the grounds of the castle and hadn't been gone long enough from his home for them to fall. It wasn't until she and Hagrid came to him to see if he could help that panic about so many things began to take over.
After a quick spell to determine Harry's whereabouts, something that came back showing he wasn't around, the Professor recalled all the students to the castle. The ghosts took over looking in the castle for Harry, though even Professor Dumbledore seemed to think he wasn't there from the expression on his face, while the professors took over checking the grounds. Though it was unlikely Harry was there, from what Professor Dumbledore implied, Hagrid had gone into the Forbidden Forest looking for him and to get help to see if he was there from the centaurs. At this point, after a couple of hours of looking, with no one finding anything, the DMLE was here to help.Sighing softly, fingers aching from twisting in her shirt, Hermione was uptight. She had been questioned by Professor Dumbledore, of course, and didn't lie, telling him just what happened other than mentioning Harry saying goodbye and the bits before taking the walk. She even covered what they talked about when it came to Ron. From what she could tell, he looked very concerned. Then when the DMLE arrived, she covered the same things with them. The DMLE was now scouring the grounds for Harry, taking over questioning those that had seen them. She seemed to be in the clear with that as everyone appeared to believe her. As distraught as she was, though not for the same reason as everyone else, they didn't seem to think anything was off. In fact, they were quite gentle about it, though the questions were direct and covered everything thoroughly. That she was thankful for. She supposed it had helped that she was in tears by the time they arrived. That was from already missing her friend, something she had tried to hold back before he left, and from the stress, causing the tears, but it helped. Now she was just waiting to see what else they needed. Professor Dumbledore had asked her very gently, patting her hand as he did, to wait here. Of course, she was uptight about that, but she waited.Eyes locked on the floor, she reached up and brushed over them with one hand. There were still tears in them, of course, but she was trying not to let them fall. Sniffling, she slumped. This was so hard. It was the right thing, she kept telling herself that, and that she really didn't know how Harry vanished, something that helped even more. It was just—the stress. That and she knew she would have to face more once she went back to the dorms. She knew that everyone was confined to them right now, so speculation was probably spreading, along with wild rumors, like wildfire. As far as she knew, she was the only student not in the dorms, so those in her house would know she had some idea of what was going on. She was also sure that they had a clue it had to do with Harry as Professors McGonagall and Dumbledore had gone to check the dorm for Harry's things, finding them there. That would just fuel what was already going on. Which meant she had to hold up to that as well. Not to mention Ron. He had probably already heard something was up and would want to know. She would. She had to. For Harry.Looking up as she heard the staircase start up, she sniffled again then swiped at her eyes, wanting a tissue. Head swiveling in that direction, she gave an internal sigh when she saw not only Professor Dumbledore, but Lupin and McGonagall come in. She wasn’t sure what was coming now, but she hoped it wasn't much as she wasn't sure how much more she could take before a breakdown of some kind.Coming over to the obviously upset young witch, Albus conjured a hankie for her, passing it over. After conjuring one of his squishy chairs, he took a seat with a groan. Watching her blot her red eyes then blow her nose softly before starting to twist the hankie in her fingers, the way she obviously had her rumpled shirt, he said as gently as he could, “We just have a few more questions for you, Hermione. Once we finish, Professor McGonagall is going to take you to the infirmary for something calming so you can get some rest.”Sniffling again, eyes filling once more, Hermione nodded, just wishing this was over. Then she asked, voice hitching, as it would be expected of her, “Have you found him? He was right next to me!”“Not yet,” Albus told her honestly. “We're doing all we can, that I promise you. Give us time to see if we can figure out what happened.” Reaching out to pat her hand again, he said, “Professor Lupin said you were with Harry when he came to see him this morning?”“I was,” Hermione confirmed with a nod. “There was something that Harry got back from him after they talked.”Crouching down by Hermione's chair, hands clasped between his spread knees, Remus asked gently, “Do you know what Harry did with the parchment he got back from me?” He was hoping against hope that Hermione knew and it didn't just vanish with Harry. If it didn't, they could use it to help find him. If he was on the grounds, that was.So far, no one had a clue what happened. They knew Harry didn't leave with Sirius as they had been in the hospital wing all night, with plenty of witnesses, including the Minister of Magic himself. Harry, as far as any of them knew, didn't know what a Portkey was or how to make one. That magic was far more advanced than anything Harry would know. Apparation was out as the wards prevented that. So, they were all at a loss as to what went on or how he just vanished. The only thing they had been able to determine was the approximate place Harry had vanished from. It was a stretch along the shores of the Black Lake. Albus had conferred with the Merpeople, who were looking for him, but hadn't seen a thing. Which meant they all suspected foul play of some kind. They just needed to rule out everything else first.Reaching out, Remus put his hand over the young witch's and gave it a squeeze then asked, gently, “Do you know, Hermione? If you do, it could be a big help to all of us.”“I have it,” Hermione hitched out, the tears close again. “He asked me to hold it for him.” Straightening up and pulling her hand away, she fumbled in her pocket and pulled out what she knew was the map before passing it over to him with a shaking hand.“Thank you,” Remus told her with a smile. Standing, he unfolded the map then activated it. Laying it out on Albus' desk, he looked it over as the other two joined him. Shaking his head as he closely looked in all the areas on it, he sighed. “I don't see him anywhere in either the castle or on the grounds. The dorms—we know he's not there and that's where the biggest congregation of the students are. Everywhere else—it's either the DMLE, teachers or staff. No sign of Harry.”Stepping over to the desk after giving Hermione another pat on the hand, Albus gazed at the map. Quickly deducing what it did, he cast a spell on it then said Harry's name. If it worked, it would highlight where he was. It showed nothing. Sighing, he lowered his wand. “Nothing,” he said, dejectedly. Looking at the map again, he cast a non-verbal spell that would check for Harry's body. That he didn't find either, thankfully. Which left him baffled as to what in Merlin's name was going on. Quietly, he asked Hermione, “Sirius left last night on Buckbeak?” This he had asked already, just to be sure, but wanted to double check.“He did,” Hermione told him. She wanted to add more, something to make it sound better, but didn't, knowing lies might trip her up in the future. No, it was best to stick to the whole truth, though leave parts out, so it couldn't come back to bite her later.Smoothing down his beard, looking troubled, Albus then shook his head. “I thought as much. With how many people were around where we've narrowed it down that he vanished from, I didn't think he would have anything to do with it.”“It was in broad daylight, Albus,” Minerva said, voice tight because of how upset she was. “He couldn't have managed anything. If he had tried, someone would have noticed him. Miss Granger told us everything. What she said was backed up by witnesses, including teachers. Sirius Black had nothing to do with this.”“That's my leaning too,” Albus admitted. “I just wanted to make sure it was all covered so we don't go off chasing shadows.”“Let me ask this,” Remus started, looking at the upset witch. “Did Harry say anything about going after or chasing Sirius? Anything like that?” He didn't think so as Harry wouldn't have any way of managing to just vanish, but he wanted to make sure.“No, nothing like that,” Hermione told him with a shake of her bushy head. That was easy as it was the complete truth. “You saw and talked to him, Professor. He was acting normally.”“Those that encountered you said that as well, yes,” Albus sighed.“I thought so, I just want all the hoops covered,” Remus told them, looking down, brow furrowed as he thought.Starting to sniffle loudly, the tears came again as Hermione listened in. She didn't try to stop them either as it would only help her. Swiping at her eyes, as that would be expected, she hitched out, “He's gone.”Walking over to the poor upset witch, Albus took her hand and gave it a squeeze. “Minerva, I think Miss Granger needs some rest.” Looking down at Hermione, who was now sobbing softly, he said as gently as he could, “Go with Professor McGonagall. She's going to take you to the hospital wing for something calming. If we need any more from you, we'll come talk to you there. Just get some rest.”Helping her young lion to her feet, Minerva said, tone far gentler than anything she usually used with her students, “Come along, Miss Granger. You can get some rest when you get there. It's been a trying day.”Leaning against her head of house, sniffling loudly, Hermione just nodded. Something calming sounded good at the moment and she wouldn't fight it.Waiting until the door shut then the staircase started up, Albus sighed and began to stroke his beard again. Shaking his head, he admitted, “I don't know what happened, Remus. From what we know, Sirius couldn't have had anything to do with this. He doesn't have the means. If he did, he would have holed up wherever that is rather than live like he did while on the run.”“I think he left just how he said,” Remus sighed, looking down. “He didn't do it, Albus. We know that now. And he wouldn't hurt Harry. In fact, the two were talking about plans for Harry to stay with him. I honestly don't think he would put Harry in the kind of danger it would mean if he took him.”“I agree,” Albus admitted with a nod and sigh. “If you would—see if you can get in contact with him to find out if he knows anything. I'm sure he's left the country, of course, but there has to be a way. Tell him to stay away, but keep an eye out for Harry. It doesn't seem like Harry just took off to find him, but you never know. Until we receive confirmation otherwise, we keep looking for Harry.”
“I'll find a way,” Remus told him with a determined look on his face. Quietly, he then asked, “What's the next step? Do you know? He's not on the grounds. There is no way to hide from that map.”“We now start questioning everyone, starting with those that were by the lake then move on from there. I don't know. Students don't just vanish without help. I would say that the DMLE is going to start looking at foul play quickly. That we need to prepare for.”“Do you think that's what happened? We know how much danger he's in,” Remus asked quietly, gut curdling.“I don't know that either,” Albus admitted with another sigh, looking old and tired. “It's something we probably now need to consider, though. Let me see what I can find when it comes to tracing spells. If he's on the grounds, even if it's just his body, I'll find him. If not, then we go from there.” Slumping, the aging headmaster didn't know what to say after that. All he hoped was that Harry was safe, wherever he was.
Lying alone in the hospital wing, behind a folding screen to keep curious eyes out, though there didn't seem to be any around, Hermione was curled up with her eyes shut. She wasn't asleep yet, but was getting there. With a soft sigh, she hoped that the worst was over. If it wasn't, she would handle it. She had done fine up until now and would keep on doing that. It didn't matter how many times people tried to get whatever out of her, she wasn't giving up what really happened. No! Harry was away and safe, with someone that would take care of him. He deserved that after all he went through. So, it was up to her to make sure he managed to stay hidden.
Starting to slide to sleep, a smile crossed her face for a brief moment before she said, mentally, “Be safe and have a wonderful life, Harry. I'm going to miss you.” Then she fell asleep, her body relaxing completely for the first time that day.As she slept, she had dreams of all the wonderful things that Harry would finally be able to experience without the fear of being dragged into messes. Those were good, too. Little did she know that the life she had given her friend was far better and more fulfilling than the dreams she was having. Harry would be happy thanks to her choice and lead a life very few got to experience with the one person in the world that would always love and take care of him. She had made the right choice.
While AFF and its agents attempt to remove all illegal works from the site as quickly and thoroughly as possible, there is always the possibility that some submissions may be overlooked or dismissed in error. The AFF system includes a rigorous and complex abuse control system in order to prevent improper use of the AFF service, and we hope that its deployment indicates a good-faith effort to eliminate any illegal material on the site in a fair and unbiased manner. This abuse control system is run in accordance with the strict guidelines specified above.
