An Here is another chapter for you all. This chapter starts and ends with Draco’s POV with Hermione’s POV in the middle. What this chapter has in store is the Gala. Meeting Slytherins and deatheaters. And Tom Riddle himself will be there to see his daughter. Harry and Ron will teach Hermione a painful lesson. And Hermione will see how Draco feels for her.           I walk to my room after leaving Mia to change for the Gala. A smile still on my face from when she called me by my name. I find myself both excited and anxious about the Gala. Excited because for the first time ever Mia is awake in the real world. She will be present for everything. Which gives me more options then before. And Anxious because what if she lapses back into her other world that she has been trapped in her whole life. How would we get her back then? We are not even completely sure how she woke up in the first place. Could have something thing to do with Potter’s attack spell or maybe not. I still want to curse Potter for attacking her regardless of whether it brought her back or not. Because regardless of who her father is she is innocent. I mean she has been trapped inside her own mind for fucks sake! Why did she deserved to be attacked? I make it to my room and slip my clothes off and get into the shower. I let the hot water stream over me. I wonder if Mia would ever go for me now that she knows that I would never hurt her. I’ve always saw her beauty even if the things she did or said never ever made sense with what was happening. And we just had our first ever conversation that actually made sense or wasn’t one sided. It was awesome. I know she is still cautious, but I could understand I was a prick to her in the other world. I just hope that we can convince her that this world is real. A image of her seeing herself in the mirror for the first time goes through my mind. I feel myself get hard. She isn’t just beautiful she is hot. And she has never seen that. I like that she isn’t full of herself like many others are. Mia isn’t used to the attention of a bloke. In her other world I guess she was a sort of wallpaper. I guess guys in that world are daft. Because even with the messy curls that she describes as a bush she was beautiful. I still don’t get how she developed feelings for Weasley who is blind as well as stupid apparently. Suddenly I get the image of an inviting Mia wanting me to come and bed her. I look down. I better take care of that or else I wont be able to do much of anything. I kept the image of Mia wanting me to claim her in my mind as I start grasping myself.
Later
I am now dressed and then I hear a knock on the door. “Come in.” My mum walks in. “Draco I want you to be Laila’s escort tonight.” “I always am.” I say with a slight smile. “I know but its different now. She will be experiencing all this with us now..” Then my mum gives a smirk. “And you never know she may choose you.” “Mum?” “Don’t give me that. I know when my little boy fancies someone. And dear you have be harboring feelings for her all this years and you have questioned your own sanity. But now she is present. She is no longer trapped in that delusional world and if you continue to be the sweet protective man I know you are and you may win her heart.. Oh by the way. Tom is here. He heard about Laila and had to come to this event.” My heart starts to pound. “Her father is here?” “Don’t worry Draco Tom likes you always has. I could help it along by saying how you always looked out for her and protected her. And was there for her when just about no one else was. The only other one there for her has been Luna.” My mum smiles then winks at me. Then leaves the room and I follow. I get to the Ballroom that we are using tonight and I wait by the foot of the stairs where Mia is supposed to make her grand appearance. I see who is here while. I see mum talking to Isabella Zambini and my aunt Bellatrix. Then there is my father talking to my Godfather Severus , and . I see Mr. Goyle talking to mr. Crabbe . Alecto Carrow is currently talking to Astoria Greengrass. Thank goodness or else she would be looking for me. I see my best mate Blaise flirting with Daphne Greengrass well better her then her sister I guess. He unfortunately also stuck with Crabbe jr. ,Goyle jr. and Pansy . Ugh she is primping. There is also Antonin Dolohov he is walking around and eating. Then I see professor McGonagall walk in looking uncomfortable. I guess she was invited but why? Then the last to arrive is Tom Riddle himself. He only looks like a monster version of himself when he wants to scare people. He is here for his daughter and he doesn’t want to scare her. Though she might be afraid at the number of deatheaters in attendance. Then I hear a song by the wizard band Halestorm I think its called Mz. Hyde. I wonder if she choose the song or if someone else did. Then she appears at the top of the stairs as the song says, “Your goody-two-shoes prude is a work of art.

I see Mia and Daphne look to each other smile and then smirk. I think she made a new friend. I see Luna grab Theo and start to dance. Luna is Mia’s friend for life. Then the three of them looked at eachother when the song ended and then a new song started. Also by Halestorm Daughter’s of darkness began. The three of them started dancing with each other with out us guys.

When it ended Mia looked to the crowd. “Hello everyone thank you for coming to the Gala that Narcissa has graciously put in my honor.” She says shocking everyone for she actually made sense. “Laila it is so good to see you well and present.” Tom says. “Thanks uh..” “Its your father sweetie.” She turns slightly pale at this but manages to smile. “Hello Father.” That must be the courage she got for believing she was a Gryffindor. I can tell though that she is terrified. “I have waited years to hear you call me that. I am now overjoyed at this change.” “I am glad you are pleased father.” “Hello Laila. I was worried about you after you were attacked but I am glad to see that you are better then you were before.” “Hello professor McGonagall.” “Please we are not in school call me Minerva.” “If you wish.. Minerva.” Professor McGonagall smiles. “Tom may I have a word with you.” “Of course. Please excuse me Laila and Draco.” “Drakie!!..Crazy.” She says with a Sneer at Mia. “Hello Doorknob. Now excuse us we have no time for you. I bet Theodore will give you the time of day. And I meant that as an expression and not literally the time of day.” She says with a smirk and then pulls we away. “Whoa I was not expecting that from you. I have had to deal with her all the time in the other world and I’m sick of it. And if that makes me a Bitch oh well.” “No it doesn’t make you a bitch. It makes you strong.” “DRAK oh DRAk.” Astoria says and is suddenly all over me. Ugh I really hate when this fucking happens. “Did you buy me that necklace that I told you I needed?” Then suddenly Astoria screams. As Mia as got her by the hair and is pulling her away from her. “Listen hear Plastic gold digging Bitch and listen good because I will only say this once. You are a sad pathetic excuse for a pureblood and trying to snarl the heir to the Malfoy fortune just so you can control it. Is something that simple weakminded harlot’s do. Draco doesn’t need a girl like you to mess around with his heart. Because someone like you would destroy him. I’ve seen it happen in the other delusional world that I was in. The Luna there had a vision of him and his future if he choose you. Let me show you what that looks like.” Mia says coldly still with Astoria’s hair in a firm grip in her hand.
Then there is a picture all the wall. Holy Merlin’s beard! I look old weak and almost afraid Astoria. “See Bitch that is what would happen to Draco if you got to him. See how aged he is how weak? That is all because of you! So move on and stay the hell away!” She says then pulls Astoria by the hair so hair she falls and Mia is left standing there with a wad of hair in her hand. “Master do you see what she did to me?!” “Astoria get up on your feet! My Daughter can do as she pleases. So don’t come crying to me.” Astoria got up on her feet. But she ran from the room to cry. “Whoa Mia! That was Brilliant….Are you okay?” I asked cause she is looking at the wad of hair in her hand. “I cant tell if I am horrified by what I just did or if I feel empowered.” “Everyone has a dark side Mia and what keeps you from becoming evil is not hurting the ones that you care about.” Mia drops the hair and goes into my arms. She is confused by all this. Is it wrong that I am taking satisfaction with the fact she choose me to get comfort from? I hold her for as long as she needs. Then I let her go. She goes to hang out with Luna. “So you have been watching over my little girl on these years and have been her friend even though she hasn’t been aware of it.” “Yes I have. I have had to step in a defend her many times when people would torment her for being how she was.” “Was anyone here one of her tormentors?” “Yes sir. Pansy Parkinson and Astoria Greengrass though I think she finally got some of her own justice.” “Not entirely, you see she was defending you not herself when it came to Astoria. And the justice she got from miss Parkinson was weak and not enough to make up for years of torment. My daughter has had just a taste of the dark side.           Suddenly I see red. I look harder and I see Weaslette. If she is here then Potter and his sidekick must be too. Shit! The must have taken polyjuice potion to appear to be members of Slytherin. Soon I catch sight of her brother and his girlfriend Lavender . But where is Potter. I look around. I see Mia talking to Luna. I guess figuring some more things out. I also cant see Tom anywhere he seems to have left the room. Then suddenly Mia is grabbed by an invisible hand and taken to a dark corner.

I’m pulled into a corner where I’m sure no one can see me. “Harry I know its you cant you reveal yourself to me. I’m sure no one will see you. “ “How did you know it was me?!” Harry says as he comes into view. “Because you got your father’s invisibility cloak in first year.” “How do you know that Riddle?” “Because in the delusional world I was trapped in I was the brains of your group and we saved the wizarding world quite often with it.” “Get this straight right now I would never be friends with a snake like you!” “Why?” “Because you’re Voldemort’s daughter. And your father killed my parents.” “But that wasn’t my fault. I was just a baby. So was I!” “Why blame me for something my father did?” “Because you are just like him I can see it in your eyes.” “But I’m not my father I am me.” Harry please don’t do this! You are my best friend. “You are just like him. You have no problem being around a whole lot of deatheaters.” “I was just putting on a brave face Harry I’m terrified of being in a place crawling with deatheaters.” “It sure didn’t look like it the way you were hugging up on Malfoy.” “He has been there for me since I was baby.           “Now take out your wand.” I take mine out. “Don’t make me fight you.” “You are going to fight me.” “I cant you are my friend!” “I am no friend of yours never was NEVER WILL BE!” “Why would he be Friends with a Slytherin Whore?” A voice said that Im used to hearing sound so kind was now sounding so cruel.” “Ron?!” “I am here too Bitch!” Ginny says her eyes full of the same hate that Harry and Ron carry in their eyes aimed towards me.” “STUPLIFY!” Harry shuts and hits me. I fall on the floor. “FIGHT Riddle!” “I cant fight you.” Then Ron hit me with what must have been the Stinging Jinx he hit my stomach. IT is stinging and I can feel boils and welts form. A silent tear falls down my face. “Get this straight Riddle we hate you, your Father and every deatheater and Slytherin in this room.” Harry says and Ron, Ginny and Lavender say their cruel agreements. “CRUCIO!” I hear Harry shut! And I scream as I thrash on the ground as the most unbearable pain that I’ve ever felt goes through my whole system. “CRUCIO!” I heard another voice scream. Then Harry screams. “How do you like it Potter?! Painful isn’t it?...Now get the Hell out of my house.” I’m am feeling the pain of the aftereffects of the curse. I feel Draco gently pick me up. “Father, Sir I am going to take her to rest and get some medical attention.” I open my eyes and suddenly I see my father turn into the Voldemort I know from the other world. I gasp both in fear and in pain. And squeeze my eyes shut tight. I am then taken from the room. It’s so hard for me to accept that my friends would attack me. And yet they did. That is the nightmare of this world. I seem to only have one friend that was my friend in the other world, that is Luna. Those that were my enemies there are my friends here. Those that were my friends there are now my enemies. Then I’m set gently on something soft. I open my eyes. I am back in my bedroom. And Draco is looking at me. “What spell did Weasley use?” “The stinging Jinx.” “Where did that hit you?” “My Stomach.” He takes out his wand and says the spell that would counteract that spell to end it. Then he says another spell. After that he summons a potion. “Here this will help with the pain.” He says gently. “I try to sit up to take it but I find that I can barely move because of the pain. Draco seeing my struggle gently puts his hand under my head and lifts it up a little and slowly pours the potion in my mouth. The effects start right away as this warm feeling spreads throughout my body. Putting an end to my pain. “I will have to give you every four hours until the aftereffects of the curse passes. “okay. Thanks.” I’m trying really hard not to cry right now. “It will be okay Mia.” He says gently rubbing my cheek. I go into his warm arms and breakdown into tears not able to help it anymore. Amazingly he rubs my back somehow knowing that is what helps.
A bit later
When I was able to calm down and stop crying. I sit up facing Draco. He is giving me another look I cant define. “Mia..” “Yes Draco?” His face is suddenly close to mine. Then the next thing I know his lips were on mine. After a few seconds of registered shock. I started kissing him back. This may be unexpected but this feels right somehow. Maybe because he is sweet, caring and protective of me. Then he breaks the kiss. “I’m sorry I shouldn’t have done that.” He says giving a look that said he was upset with himself. “I shouldn’t have took advantage of you like that, that was wrong of me.” That is what this is about? He thinks that by kissing me after being attacked my people I considered to be my friends to be taken advantage of me? “Draco you don’t have to be sorry.” “I think I am going to go to my room before I screw this up even more.” He says getting off my bed and getting out of my room and shutting the door all the while ignoring my pleas for him to stay not to go. I go to my door. Draco oh Draco. This separation is going to kill me now. I will prove to you that what happened was nothing to apologize for it was right.

What Hermione did not realize that Draco was right outside her door. Feeling so bad and listening to her cry softly. He did want her to know his feelings for her but not like this.

Later
I awake from a nightmare only to find that I am in so much pain. I open my eyes and suddenly he is there. With a potion in hand. “Sorry I’m late. I meant to come a little earlier but your father wanted to speak to me.” “It’s okay.” He helps me take the potion. After he moves to leave the room. I stop him taking a grasp of his hand. “Please stay with me.” I say and he looks unsure. “Please I had a nightmare.” “Okay.” He says. And I move over to make room for him. I let him get comfortable. Then I settle into his arms. And close my eyes. I never would have thought that I would feel so safe in Draco’s arms.
The next day
When I woke for the last time in the morning it was because I was cold. Draco was gone. Where did he go? Is he hiding from me because of the kiss he feels guilty about? Or is there are another reason? So I got up took a quick shower and then got dressed. I got a knock on the door. “Come in.” I say and Narcissa Malfoy comes in. “Hello dear how are you feeling?” “I’m fine. Draco has given me a pain potion every four hours last night.” “He always was diligent and thorough where you are concerned…” “Did something happen?” I am not quite ready to have a heart to heart with Mrs. Malfoy. I need Luna or maybe even Daphne for that. “He just has been confused that’s all.” “Ah something did happen. Just know that whatever it is my boy cares too deeply for you to purposely hurt you. He probably said or did something he couldn’t help and then stopped abruptly feeling guilty saying he shouldn’t have said or did that.” That’s amazing how accurate she is when I was so vague about it. “I thought so. He doesn’t wait to push you into something you don’t want or just not ready for. I will be out all day. Girls weekend out with Isabella. Please meet Draco for dinner and the Rouge Café. At 7pm.” “Could I spend the day with some friends until then?” “..Well of course dear. You finally are living in the real world go out a live it. Be a teenage witch, have fun and stir up some trouble.” Narcissa says with a wink and a smirk. Then leaves the room. She is and was most definitely as Slytherin. I floo call Luna and go out on a limb and floo call Daphne. Luna comes immediately. She comes out and gives me a hug. “Its good to see you Mione.” Luna says smiling. “It is great to see you too.” I was so worried when you got attacked last night. I floo called you twice last night just to get Draco instead. He knows how to take care of you. Then again he always had.” She looks at me. “Alright what happened? Spill.” It was at that moment that Daphne walked through the floo. “Good morning Laila and Luna.” “Good morning Daphne.” Luna and I both said at the same time. We sit down on my bed. “Okay you gave a weird look when I mentioned Draco what happened?” Luna says getting back to the point. “She did? What happened Laila?” I took a deep breathe. “Last night after Draco healed my injuries and gave me my first pain potion I broke down into tears after being attacked…” In the other world she was trapped in they were her best friends and she fancied Ron.” Luna interrupts to explain to Daphne so that she would be lost. “Then once I was able to calm down and stop crying I look up at Draco. He was giving me this look I couldn’t define. Then he says my name and kisses me. Only to stop and apologize for it. I told him he didn’t have to apologize and he left my room. He just left the room like that.” “Now I know why his relationships never seemed to work out. None of them were you.” Daphne says.
          “You have feelings for him that’s why you are so confused.” Luna says stunning me with how well she can read me. “Mione I’ve known you your whole life. I may not always know what is going on in the other world. But I listened to the conversations you’ve had and I’ve got to know you through them. So being able to pick up on your feelings is pretty easy.” I smile at this. “So what do I do?” “Well, what do you want?” Daphne says. I thought about it then I look up and smile. “I want to start a relationship with my guardian Dragon.” Luna and Daphne share a look and a smirk. “We can help you with that.” Luna says. “First thing is first we are going out. We have shopping to do.” “I have to meet Draco for dinner at 7.” “Perfect.” “Its not a date.” “So it may not start as one but it will definitely end as one.” “We have less time we better get a move on.” Luna says pushing me towards the floo. “Are you up for anything because this may push you a bit outside your comfort zone.” “I’m up for anything as long as you don’t dress me like a whore.” “Of course not. We know how we can drive him wild without going that far. “ She says as we get in the floo and she shouts out the name of some shop in Diagon alley.
Later
We spent from the hours from 8am till noon shopping. Then stopped and had a bite to eat. Then we went to a spa. Where we relaxed and were pampered. We got massages, facials, manicures and pedicures. Then we got dressed in our oufits and went to another place to get our hair and our makeup done. We couldn’t see each other. “We are going to model our outfits to each other Laila. Luna will go first then me, then you.” “Sounds good.” I say then ‘You make me feel like a star’ song from the Lizzie McGuire movie plays. I didn’t know that movie was available to wizards. Luna comes out makes a few poses and then makes her final pose. She has a classic beauty. I’m guessing she is my good influence since she still seems innocent even though she gave off a subtle sexy vibe. Then the song ‘Gimme more’ From Britney Spears comes one and Daphne comes out fierce and sexy. Oh yeah Luna was definitely my good influence and that makes Daphne my bad influence. Then she takes her final pose as the song comes to a close. I choose the song “Kisses don’t lie’ By Rihanna. That started and I choose an approach that was in between both. I’m exploring this dark side of me that I never knew I had. I finding that this is quite fun. I know that if Harry and Ron from the other world saw me they would be in shock and say I’m acting a bit Slytherin. I got to stop thinking of them. We aren’t friends here. I’ve got to move on. I have great friends with out them. With that in mind I made my final pose. “Damn I didn’t know that you had that in you.” I hear and look up to see Blaise Zambini. “Blaise!” I thought you were with Draco.” “I was but he went to get some books. So I was just looking around when I say you girls modeling I had to watch. Are you wearing that when you meet with Draco?” “Yes why?” “Poor Bloke he wont know what hit him.” “Blaise I wasn’t ready for you to see me till it was time for our date.” “Don’t worry Daphne You are gorgeous. I’m so glad we are going out for dinner and dancing tonight.” Okay it still blows my mind that Blaise doesn’t look like how he does in the other world. He was literally a black Italian in the other world. And here he is a regular Italian and is quite possibly the second hottest guy in Slytherin. I haven’t decided if Theodore Nott is third or tied for second with Blaise Zambini. “Well girls I will leave you to it I’m sure Draco is finished buying his books by now. Have fun.” He says and leaves the room.
          We soon leave wearing our outfits. “I didn’t know you had a date tonight Daphne.” “Yeah Blaise asked me out last night. He has been waiting a long time so I decided to give him a chance. Any guy that has been waiting since 3^rd year deserves the chance.” I smile its sweet that Blaise has waited for her this long. In the other world he was known as the Italian stallion and had half the girls in Slytherin. “I have a date too. Neville asked me out while we were shopping. I bought him a Cell phone and he texted me.” “You have a cell phone I thought those were muggle devices.” “Not anymore. They became available in the Wizarding world 6 months ago. And laptops became available 3 months ago.” “I have a laptop but no phone.” Daphne says. “I don’t have either I had both in the other world.” “Looks like we are going to buy those.” Luna says and we follow her through Diagon alley. We are stopped by reporters from the Daily prophet and Witch weekly. “Whoa! Miss Sartre we didn’t know you had this in you. Is it true you are finally in the real world?” I roll my eyes. “Yes I am present in this world.” “So did you pick out this look? It’s a bit dark.” They are getting annoying really fast. “I picked out this look with the help of my wonderful friends Luna and Daphne. And so what if it’s a bit dark Everyone alive has a dark side. Oh and just wait till I start back at Hogwarts I will be revealing my true identity. And I will give an exclusive. But that’s if you get the hell away from me right now!” I yell and they look stunned but had the common sense to leave me alone. “Wow!” Daphne says. “Are you ready to reveal yourself as the daughter of the darkest wizard who ever lived?” “I’m not sure. I just know that I don’t want to hide anymore. I was stuck in another world my whole life living as someone that doesn’t exist. I don’t want to do the same here.” I tell them honestly. Then Luna leads us into what must be the Wizard equivalent to Best Buy.
“This is my phone. So you have an idea of what kind of phones are available.” She says showing us a phone that I recognize as a sidekick. And it is a purple pink kind of color. “This is a picture of my Laptop.” Luna says showing us a picture of her laptop on her phone. It is a purple sony Vaio. “Here is what my laptop looks like.” Daphne says showing us a picture of her laptop. It is a green Hp. Well at least it’s an Hp in the muggle world. I don’t know the Wizard brand for it. We head to the cellphones first since Daphne and I both need one. Daphne finds her phone first. It is some kind of Samsung slider and touch screen. She buys accessories for it. And I take my time till I find one that catches my eye. A Blackberry Torch. I remember wanting one so bad in the other world but I couldn’t afford it. Now I can afford it. I pick one out in Red. I just buy an mp3 chip for it and other needed accessories. I don’t go all out like Daphne. While they are messing their phones I go into the laptop section. And look through the whole section before I decide I want some type of Samsung. Then I look in just that section and decide that I want this red one. Then I find this really awesome decal sticker to put on it of a Dragon and a Phoenix. The Dragon in it makes me think of Draco. He is hovering above the Phoenix protectively. And the Castle makes me think of Hogwarts. I’m not sure if I embody a inner Phoenix yet. But I have to take this. So I take that, the laptop and all the needed accessories. After I buy it I stick the sticker on the laptop. When I was done I show Daphne and Luna my choose and they smile then smirk at my decal picture. We floo back to my room so I can set up my laptop. They each give me their cell number and I give them mine. They till me to pose for my caller Id. Pic. I do. ”Perfect.” Luna says. “Love it.” Daphne says. Then we make Luna pose for hers. Then Daphne poses for her without much prompt. Luna then gives me Draco’s number. “And here is a pic for you. I took this pic when you were attacked and he was anxious. It is a Wizard pic. And I formatted it into a caller ID pic.” Daphne says sending a pic to my phone. I open it. Oh merlin! Even when he is completely worried he can be smoking hot. I set that as his caller Id. Pic. “Alright we have got to go to our dates. Text him and let him know you are on your way.” Daphne says. Then she and Luna hug me and leave. I open my phone to text him. I made my pic hidden from him cause apparently he would see it when we text like a chat room. I choose a pic from my memory Well, from his. as a pic he would see.

Have you been to Chelmsford in your other world?
Its okay. And I had been there many times in the other world with the
Grangers. We would go to the theater there. But I don’t know if the city is different from
How it was in the other world.
There used to be a theater there but it closed down
when we started Hogwarts. There is now a school there. The
café is just a few blocks east of the school. Do you think you can
find it?
As long as the school is exactly where the
Theater was in the other world I should. I will

20 minutes later
          I am waiting at the Rogue Café. Man I hope she hasn’t gotten lost. I check my phone for the third time in ten minutes. But there are no new texts. I look up once again. And my heart pounds for there she is. Damn! That look is so hot! I can barely think. All I know is she doesn’t see me yet. “Mia..” I barely manage to say. My throat is suddenly dry. She sees me and walks over. “Hi Draco.” She says and my brain still is refusing to function. “Hi Mia.” Then she goes to embraces me. “Draco look at me.” She says softly and I do. Then she kisses me. I can feel so much in this kiss. Is it possible that she could feel the same for me? Then the kiss ends. “Now don’t hide from me anymore. Kisses can do a lot of things but kisses don’t lie. Now what can be said about the fact you left me wanting more when you gave me my first kiss and then ran away?” “I wasn’t.. sure if it was what you wanted.” I stuttered. She smiles. “If I remember correctly I was kissing you back wasn’t I?” Then I start tripping over myself trying to come up with a good answer. “Come on let us eat.” She says and we take our seats. We order some food. And I am completely amazed. I’ve never seen this side of her before. And it is driving me crazy in a good way. I’ve got to ask her or else I will never know. “Do you want to be my girlfriend?” She looks up from her plate with a smile. “I was hoping you would ask Dragon. Of course.” Then she reaches across the table to take one of my hands in one of her own.
Now I really ceased being able to think.
