Chapter 2
Blaise was on his way to go see Draco when the Knight bus pulled up. He was really surprised to see none other than Hermione Granger step off the bus. “Granger” he said “What are you doing here” “I had nowhere else to go” she cried “What about you Zabini” “Draco called me over” he answered “Wait why here, and what happened to you? Next thing Blaise knew Hermione was falling to ground. He was able to catch her before she hit it. He tried to shake her awake but she wouldn’t wake. Blaise was starting to get worried. He scooped her up into his arms and ran to the manor. He rang the doorbell and a house elf answered. “Go get Draco and Narcissa” He yelled “and call a healer now” Blaise went and laid Hermione down on the couch in foyer. He kept looking at her trying to figure out who could have done this to her. Hermione was always nice to everyone. Nobody knew but Blaise had always had feelings for her. He noticed that she had a glamour on under the fresh bruises so he took it off her. When he saw the extent of it he started crying. He started looking over the rest of her body to check to see if she had anymore bruises. He pulled out his wand and with a flick she was in a hospital gown. “Blaise” Draco yelled “ what happened to Hermione” “I don’t know” Blaise cried “ she showed up here on the knight bus” “well Did she say anything” Draco asked “On why she showed up here” “yeah” Blaise explained “Just That she had nowhere else to go” “She must have got my letter” Draco said “Was her mother with her” “No” Blaise answered confusedly “It was just her” “Winky” Draco yelled “I needs you” In popped the House elf that answered the door. “Yes, Master Malfoy” Winky asked “The Healer is here” “OK Thank you Winky” Draco sighed “I need you to go get Mrs. Granger and also have one of the other house elves go get Ginny Wesley.” “Yes master” Winky said “ what should I tell Her” “Let her know that Hermione is here and I need her help” Draco cried “Oh and make sure she’s alone” Next thing you know there was a pop and winky was gone. “Ok” Blaise started but was interrupted by the healer. “what happened to her” the healer asked “and are you guys family” “we don’t know what happened. She showed up here like this.” Draco stated “and yes I am her brother” the healer looked at Draco with disbelief but said “well let’s get her to a bed” Draco showed the healer to a room that look liked it belonged to a female and Blaise put her on the bed. “I am going to have to ask for you gentlemen to leave the room” The healer stated “So I can do a thorough exam.” Blaise and Draco walked out of the room right as Mrs. Granger popped in with Winky. “Draco where’s Hermione” Mrs. Granger asked “and is she ok” “she’s in there with the Healer” Draco answered “ We don’t know Aunt Milly she’s unconscious.” Blaise had this look of confusion on his face. “Wait Aunt Milly” Blaise asked “and do you know what happened to her” “yes I do” Milly answered “She left me a note explaining everything except where she was going.” “So “Draco cried “ What Happened” “Draco Promise me you won’t do anything stupid” Milly stated “ Or I won’t tell you” “I promise” Draco sighed “Tell me” “In the letter Hermione Said that Joe has been raping her and beating her whenever he got drunk” Milly cried “I didn’t know and she just had enough of it. I just don’t know why she came here.” “She must have got my letter” Draco stated “I asked for you two to come over so we can talk since Fathers in Azkaban” “Ok” Milly smiled “I better go in there to see what the Healer found and to let him know what happened and as a precaution do a pregnancy test.” Draco and Blaise walked down to the library knowing that Ginny should be there any minute. “You realize I didn’t promise” Blaise stated “I’m going to make him wish he was dead” “Make who wish they were dead” Ginny spoke up “and where’s Hermione I was told she was here” Draco walked over to Ginny and gave her a kiss. “Now remember Not to let the Ginger temper to go off” Draco laughed “But she’s in her room with a healer she’s pretty bad. Milly’s with her” Draco and Blaise told Ginny what happened and she went up to the bedroom that Hermione was in to help. “When the healer ask about family” Blaise began “why did you tell him she’s your sister” “Because she is” Draco sighed “When mom had me she didn’t know I was a twin until after Hermione came out. She knew Father would turn her over to the dark lord once she became of age. Mother didn’t want that to happen so she hid it and contacted Milly Her squib sister that no one knows about. Now that father is gone Milly and Hermione can come home.”
Blaise stood there in amazement that Draco could hide this from him. They told each other everything. He even told him when he started dating Ginny in third year. “Well then I guess I need to tell you something.” Blaise started but was interrupted when Narcissa walked through the Floo. “What’s going on” She asked “You guys looked worried” “Mother I need you sit down” Draco stated “Hermione is in her room with Aunt Milly, Ginny and a healer.” Before Draco could finish she was up and out of the room they both knew where she heading. “So, any ways what we’re saying” Draco asked “and wait why would you be willing to stand up for Hermione” Draco had a smile on his face at the point since he already knew the reason why. “Because I like her Draco” Blaise sighed “I started to notice how much she grew up last year but my crush started in first year.” “Blaise I know” Draco sighed “I noticed that you would steal glances at her and to be honest I would be okay with you courting her cause I know you won’t hurt her. But I think she’s dating Ron but you would have to ask Ginny. At that moment Ginny walked in And asked “Ask me what?” “you just pop up at the right time don’t you” Draco joked “Is Ron and Hermione dating?” “Unfortunately Yes” Ginny sighed “But I don’t see them together much longer especially with how he treats her” “What you mean how he treats her” Blaise asked “You didn’t hear it from me” Ginny whispered “But he has a temper and he has struck Hermione before” At that moment Draco saw Blaise’s eye fill with fire and knew he was going do something stupid. “Blaise calm down” Draco growled “He won’t do it again once he finds out she’s a Malfoy” “Wait what” Ginny glared “she’s a Malfoy” Draco told Ginny the story about Hermione while Blaise walked upstairs to see Hermione. He walked into the room and over to bed and asked “Will she be ok” “Yes she will be fine” Narcissa Answered “Can you sit with her while Milly and I go and get their thing from the house?” “Sure” Blaise nodded “I don’t mind”
