Neville ran behind Snape and Professor McGonagall, to the Gryffindor common room. When he got there his heart skipped, seeing Barty bound on the floor. Hermione was also there, who was huddled against the wall crying. "Hermione," Neville gasped running over to her. Hermione looked up seeing Neville, she quickly wrapped her arms around him, sobbing. "Oh Neville he tried to kill me and the baby." Hermione said sobbing even louder. "Is the baby alright," Neville said frantically. Quickly checking over Hermione. Neville went to pick up Hermione to take her to the infirmary but Snape stopped him. Snape gave him a warning glance, then Neville suddenly remembered his other child. "Maybe you should leviate her," Snape said. "Nevy I'm okay really, just really scared." Hermione said glaring at Crouch. Neville for the first time turned to Barty who been watching the scene the whole time. Neville could see love in the man eyes, but he also saw rage and jelousy. Directed at Hermione, which scared Neville. Neville turned angrily to Barty. Who flinched at seeing his love ,look at him with such hate. "You bastard," screamed Neville who being held back by Snape. First my parents,and now you want to hurt my child as well." "That Mublood whore's child is not yours." Barty said looking at Hermione with hate. "Even Potter knows." Harry glared at Barty but looked away with guilt. Knowing what Crouch said was the truth. Neville looked at Hermione who was glaring at Barty. "He is the father you bastard!!" Screamed Hermione, who was being held back Ron. "Stop trying to come between me and my fiance." McGonagall was in shock, why would Crouch care about Neville's child. She looked over at Snape who did not seem surprised by the situation. "Fiance, the day Neville becomes your husband, will be over my dead body," Barty vowed. "Which will be pretty soon," spat Hermione. "Once you leave here, Neville and I be rid of you forever." Hermione screamed at Crouch. Neville turned away, pain was in his eyes. The thought of Barty getting the kiss. Professor McGonagall, seeing Neville pain. Ran over to him, trying to comfort the boy. Why was Neville so upset about Crouch getting the kiss. Then it came to her, Neville must have been in a relationship with the man. Minervia held her student closer, praying that it was not the case. Hermione looked over at Crouch, who was staring at Neville in worry. Things were not going as planed. Of course Hermione had not expected Crouch to come through the Gryffindor entrance. Before he could do anyhting , Oliver Wood had come down from the the boy dormitory. Recognizing Crouch had thrown a curse at him. Hermione sulked, she wanted Neville to scream and curse at Crouch. Instead he was being comforted by Professor McGonagall after hearing of Barty's fate. Crouch will soon be dead, and I will have Neville all to myself. Hermione smirked at Crouch, who saw her smirk and glared. His eyes looking looking murderous. Harry had also seen Hermione's smirk and was shocked. Disgust ran through him, Hermione did not care for Neville. She only cared about herself, she reminded him of Voldemort at that moment. Harry looked over at Neville who was devasted. Harry guilt deepened, he hated Crouch but obviously Neville saw something in the man, he did not see. Harry could see that Crouch cared for Neville as well, from the looks he was giving Neville. Harry also looked over at Ron, Who was also looking guilty. Harry felt sorry for Ron , he knew that Ron was in love with Hermione, God knows why, but he was. Ron may not be rich, but he would make an excellent father, Harry realized. Harry looked at Neville, and began to form a plan. Watching sympathy at Neville who was crying harder, watching the Aurors take Crouch away.
