Arrival At Shell Cottage

Piccolo let out a short grunt of pain when him and the others landed. He thanked Dobby shortly then the small creature vanished with another crack. Piccolo looked up when he heard beings running towards them. His brow ridges raised and he rumbled “Fleur? Bill?”

The couple froze when they saw the shirtless and purple blood spattered Namekian. Bill frowned “Piccolo…?”

Fleur blinked in confusion “Who iz zat? Jou know et?”

Bill took Piccolo's arm over his shoulder and nodded to his wife “Yeah. He's Gohan’s…. Er… Husband…?”

Piccolo grunted “Close enough.” He hissed as he put a tad bit too much pressure on his more injured left leg. When he was helped into the house and put onto a bed, Piccolo gruffed “Do you have your wand on you?”

“Yeah.” Bill pulled out his wand and said “What about it?”

Piccolo sat up with a wince the settled before saying tiredly “Say ‘energia restituet’. It'll give me back the energy that Bellatrix sapped from me.”

“Alright.” Bill pointed his wand at Piccolo and said firmly “Energia restituet.”

Immediately Piccolo felt his body get lighter as his Ki came back to him. Give a boost to his regenerative cells, his wounds closed and healed quicker. Piccolo sat up then gritted his teeth “Fuck this is going to hurt…” With a short yell, Piccolo regenerate his missing antenna and missing ear.

“Merlin…” Bill murmured in awe with wide eyes.

Piccolo growled and rubbed the base of his antenna with his fingers “Fuck… Ow…” he sighed heavily then stood up and rotated his shoulder “Give this bed to Ollivander. Luna is looking after him.”

“Okay Piccolo.” Bill walked out of the room and Piccolo followed.

Piccolo glanced over as Bill and Fleur helped escort the elderly wand maker to the room he previously occupied. His eyes turned back to the drop off point and he walked forwards as he clothed himself in his usual attire of his Gi, cape, shoulderpads and turban. He stood on the sandy beach side watching the blue waves as he waited for Harry and the others to return. Poking into his mate's mind, he smiled softly as he realized Gohan was taking a nap. Gohan's sleeping face was something he'd come to like seeing, it was peaceful and he had to admit it was adorable. But he would probably never say it out loud.

Suddenly, Piccolo jolts out of his mind probe with his mate at the sound of a loud crack. He looks over to see Harry and the others tumble into the sand. As Harry staggers to his feet, Piccolo rushed past him. Confused, Harry turns then widened his eyes in shock. About a yard away stands Dobby with a strange look on his face. Piccolo quickly kneels down fast enough to catch the house elf before he falls to the sandy floor. Piccolo's hand hovers over Dobby’s chest and his eyes narrow at the sight the hilt of the same dagger that had been torturing him.

“Dobby... No!” Piccolo glances up then back down at the elf as Harry rushes over. “Oh God no! Dobby!”

“H… Harry… Potter…” Dobby says weakly.

Piccolo puts a hand to Dobby’s forehead then closes his eyes. ‘Dobby. You are dying. I can save you if you but I can also give you a painless death if you wish that’

Dobby’s eyes, though glassy from blood loss, are full of wonder at Piccolo’s ability to speak into his mind. ‘You… You can save Dobby? Dobby doesn't... have to leave Harry potter?’

Piccolo opened his eyes and smiled softly ‘Not unless you feel your time on this Earth is done my friend’

Tears sprung from Dobby’s eyes as he whispered “Please…”

Piccolo nodded “As you wish.” His eyes closed then opened again with a softness that only came when Kami was conscious. “Rest easy small creature. You will be fine.” he put his hand around the dagger hilt then carefully removed it. Hovering a hand over Dobby’s now profusely bleeding wound, his hand glew gold with healing Ki. Harry and the others watched in amazement as the hole in Dobby slowly closed up. Within half a minute the wound was fully healed and Kami pulled his hand away. “Rest now Dobby the house elf. You’ve lost a lot of blood.”

Dobby smiled a tired smile at Kami “Thank you sir… Dobby is forever… thankful…” he looked at Harry who was crying happy tears “Dobby is happy to have helped his frien...dsss…” With a soft exhale, Dobby fell asleep in Kami’s arms, a small smile on his lips.

His consciousness returning to Piccolo, the warrior Namekian stood with little Dobby in his arms, the creature tiny in the large alien’s grasp “He needs rest, as you all do.” He turned and walked back to the Shell cottage, the other wizards and goblin following close behind.
