Chapter 21: Visit to
Hogwarts

The
next morning Harry and Remus apparated to Hogsmeade and walked to Hogwarts.

�
Do you want to go to The Three Broomsticks after we finish at the school �
asked Remus.

�
Sounds good. How long do you think this
will take? �

�
The staff meeting usually takes a couple of hours. Then we will most likely eat something and then I imagine
Flitwick and Dumbledore will want to see what you have accomplished. �

Harry
groaned. Remus chuckled and gave Harry
a one armed hug. � It will not be that
bad. Just keep you temper �, Remus
smirked.

�
Yes sir �, saluted Harry.

�
Brat �, muttered Remus.

They
reached the doors of the castle to be greeted by Professor McGonagall.

�
Hello Harry. How was your stay at the
Manor so far? �

�
Great. I�ve got a lot of studying done
and still had time to try out the new broom �, Harry patted the broom he had at
his side. � I actually hoped I could go
flying while the meeting is on �.

�
That should be fine as long as you stay on the Quidditch pitch �, said
McGonagall. � The Headmaster would like
a few words with you before the meeting �.

�
Sure �, said Harry.

They
followed Professor McGonagall to the staff-room. Professor Dumbledore was waiting outside the door for them.

�
Hello Harry, Remus. How are you? �

�
Fine Professor. I have almost completed
the DADA requirements and I�m about half way through Charms �.

�
Wonderful. Have you worked on anything
else? �

�
Yes, I can show you after the meeting.
I�m going to go flying for a bit then I will be in the library. �

�
Well we should get started. Remus if
you would retrieve Harry after the meeting so we can have lunch and then maybe
a demostration of what he has learned?�

�
Sounds ok with me Professor �, said Harry.

�
Good, good we will see you in a little while �. Dumbledore nodded, � Remus, Minavera if you will �. He led them into the staff-room, Remus winked
at Harry as he went in.

Later
that morning Remus found Harry curled up in an armchair at the back of the
library; his reading glasses perched down his nose.

�
Harry �, Remus called out. Harry looked
up and smiled. � Gods he is gorgeous when he smiles like that �. � Ready for lunch? �

Harry
jumped out of the chair, putting his reading glasses in his shirt pocket. He grabbed the book he was reading and went
to put it away.

�
What were you reading? � asked Remus.

� A
book on animagi and animorphimagi. I
just wanted some more information �.

�
That�s a good idea. Fine anything
interesting? �

�
Not really. I guess animorphimagi are
rare if there is not much written about us �.
Harry stretched. � Let�s go. The sooner we eat, the sooner I can do the
performing bear routine and we can go �.

�
Harry �, warned Remus.

�
Ok �, Harry sighed. � I will try to
behave like the respectful little schoolboy. �

Remus
shook his head. � You are truly a brat.
�

�
But you love me anyway �, said Harry fluttering his eyelashes at Remus.

Remus
snorted and turned to leave. Harry fell
in step beside him, leaned in and gave Remus a wet kiss on the cheek. Harry then hurried off, leaving a laughing
Remus behind.

Lunch
in the Great Hall was pleasant, Harry talking to Hagrid while Remus was in an
animated conversation with Flitwick and Sprout. When lunch was over Harry, Remus, Professors Dumbledore,
McGonagall, Flitwick and (unfortunately) Snape made their way to the Charms
classroom. Harry went through the necessary
seventh year charms; Flitwick clapping happily as he effortlessly performed
each one. Harry then did some simple
spells wandless, much to the delight of the others.

Remus
watched quietly from the side of the room.
� He�s holding back. Oh Albus you
have no idea how much you have screwed up with Harry �. He sighed quietly. � I hope Albus doesn�t ask me about Harry. I do not want to lie to him but Harry comes
first. Oh looks like he is finished �.

� That
was marvelous Harry �, said Albus.

� Thank
you sir � said Harry. � Glad I could entertain you � he thought.

�
What arrangements have you made for the full moon Harry �, asked
Dumbledore. � I assume you will be
returning to headquarters? �

�
Here we go � thought Harry. � Actually
I plan on staying with Remus. �

�
Even with the Wolfbane potion it is not advisable for a person to be around a
werewolf � said Dumbledore.

� I
know a person should not be around but...� he transformed into the wolf, gasps
of shock coming from the professors and a quiet chuckle from Remus. Harry transformed back. � As you can see I�m prefectly safe to keep
Moony company. �

There
was silence from the gobsmacked professors then, � When did you manage this? �
asked Professor McGonagall.

� I
started reading through my father�s book��

�
What do you mean your father�s book �, asked Dumbledore.

�
The book he and Sirius used to become animagi.
As I was saying, I started reading through the book and after I finished
reading it I decided to try the reveal spell.
I saw the wolf concentrated on it and just transformed �.

�
WHAT! You�re telling us you became an
animagus in a few DAYS! � Shrieked McGonagall.

�
Yeah and there�s more � said Harry.

�
More � said McGonagall who sat down heavily.

Harry
hesitated then transformed into the lion.
McGonagall gasped and even Dumbledore stood there gobsmacked.

�
But�impossible...how...goodness me �, sputtered McGonagall.

Remus
chuckled. Harry transformed back.

�
You learned to take TWO forms in a matter of days � said McGonagall.

�
Yes Professor �.

�
This is extraordinary �, said Dumbledore.

�
Once again Mr. Potter sees the need to show-off, � sneered Snape.

�
Oh shut up Severus,� snapped Remus.

�
Is there any thing else you wish to show us Harry �, asked Dumbledore.

�
No that is it �, said Harry. He gave
Remus a pleading look.

�
Albus we really need to be going. I promised Harry dinner at the The Three
Broomsticks and I need to take my potion and get some sleep �, said Remus.

�
Fine, fine we won�t keep the two of you any longer � said Dumbledore, � Will you be at the next meeting? �

�
Yes � said Remus. � We can get the
classroom set up then �.

�
Good, good well take care �, said Dumbledore.

�
Good-bye then � said Remus.

Harry
and Remus left the castle and walked to the edge of the wards. They apparated to The Three Broomsticks
instead of walking, Remus was getting tired (to close to the full moon). They found a table in a quiet corner and
settled in to eat their supper.

�
So do you think Professor McGonagall is calmed down now �, said Harry.

Remus
laughed. � I don�t think I have ever
seen her that flustered before. Even
Albus was shunned by your little �performing bear �or should I say �lion
routine �.�

Harry
stuck his tongue out at Remus. � Ha,
ha. Hopefully that was enough of a
demostration to satisfy Professor Dumbledore.
I want to keep a few aces up my sleeve. �

� I
think so. Eat up so we can go home
�. Remus yawned.

�
I�m sorry love, you must be tired.
Maybe a nice hot bath and /or a massage is in order once we get home �.

�
Humm, sounds wonderful, I am feeling a little sore �, said Remus wearily.

They
finished their meal, made a quick stop at Honeydukes ( to feed Remus� chocolate
carving ) and apparated for home, intent on having a relaxing evening.
