A/N: I'M BACK!!! YEA!
Lily knelt down by Snape, her hand still cupping his cheek. Snape reached his hands out tentatively and touched Lily's face, brushing her red hair out of the way to see her better. Tears began to slid down Snape's face freely. He scrutinized her face, searching her beautiful green eyes for some sign. He whispered in amazement,"Lily, is it truly you?”
“Yes, Severus, it's me.”
Snape grabbed Lily's arms and pulled her tightly to his chest. He buried his nose in her hair and continued to cry freely. He remembered the last time he had held her was when he discovered her dead body after Voldemort had killed her and James that fateful night. He sobbed and shook violently with the memory, squeezing her tighter. Lily let Snape hold her and tried to hug him back. Her hands rubbed his upper back in an attempt to try comforting him somehow. Finally, he pulled away from her but kept his hands gripping her upper arms.
“I thought I would never hold you again. My beautiful Lily, how I have missed you.”
“I have missed you too, Severus, more than you know.” Lily smiled.
“Not that I am extremely grateful but how in the world are you here?”
“I have been keeping a very close eye on you since the night of my death. When you found my body, my spirit was still in the room, watching over Harry. I saw how you held my body and completely fell apart. You wailed and sobbed like a piece of your soul had been ripped out. I knew then that your love for me had never stopped, in fact it had grown immensely over the years.”
“I always loved you and I always will. I did not lose a part of soul that night, I lost all that had ever mattered to me in the world. If not for Harry being left behind and needing protection, I might have died that night. I knew I had lost you to Potter but I could live with that as long as you were okay. When I knew I would have to live in a world without you, it is as if my heart stopped. My soul felt like it had been ripped out of my body. I have never been the same since.”
“I know. I said I had been keeping a close eye on you from The World of the Spirits. I can't thank you enough for what you did to protect Harry over the years. The risks you took with your life by playing both sides was amazing. I never worried Harry wasn't safe because I knew you would give your life for him even if he had no idea then, I did. I will always be grateful, Severus.”
Severus let go of Lily's arms and grabbed her hands, holding them gently. He looked down at the ground, his hair hiding his face.
“I cannot accept your gratitude. I failed to save Harry in the end and, by doing so, I failed you.”
Lily pulled one of hands out of Snape's and placed her fingers under his chin. She pulled Snape's tearful gaze up to her own. She shook her head with a watery smile.
“You did not fail me or Harry. It was his time to die. You didn't know it at the time, but he was destined to die that day in the Final Battle. Besides, you couldn't protect Megan and Harry at the same time. Severus, you made the right decision that day. Megan needed you and you saved her from certain death. I couldn't have been prouder of you that day. You followed your heart for the first time in many years, just as I wished you would do.”
Lily wiped away the fresh tears falling down Snape's cheeks.
“I only did what I promised Lucius and Narcissa, that is all.”
“You may have fooled Voldemort and many others but you never could lie to me very well. You are a great man who did impossible things to save thousands of lives and faced down Voldemort on a regular basis. I always knew you were an extraordinary person, Severus but your dedication surpassed every thing I ever thought of you. I am glad you are finally being rewarded with the happiness you have more than earned.”
Her eyes shined as she gave him a beaming smile. However, after a moment she noticed Snape couldn't meet her gaze and was almost squirming the longer she looked at him.
Snape tried to pull his face away from her penetrating gaze. “Please, do not look at me like that. I am not the hero you make me out to be. I have not earned any happiness. I have only managed to hurt the only other person I have cared about by placing her in certain danger. It would seem I cannot keep safe any one who has mattered to me. She is on the verge of death because I could not control my feelings and was not vigilant enough to see the dangers of my association with her. I am helping her no more than I helped keep you safe.”
Lily sighed and let go of Snape's chin. She sat back on her heels and crossed her arms.
“Okay, enough with the self-deprecating, pity party. You have a beautiful, intelligent and loving young woman who would give you all of herself, including a child. Why are you so sad Severus?”
She's in such pain and I cannot take away the pain. I cannot help her.” Snape stared off into the darkness.
“You love Megan. Every single thing you have done has been relieving her pain. But it will take time for her to truly heal, you must give her time, Severus.”
“There is not enough time in all the world to repair the harm done to Megan. Too many scars . . . .”
“Love heals all wounds. You should know. Megan has healed so many of yours. At one time, when we were young, my love healed the pain you were enduring from your father.” Lily placed a hand on Snape's arm.
Snape jerked out of her reach in surprise. He stared wide-eyed into Lily bright green eyes.
“How did you know about my father? I never told a soul including you about his...behavior.”
Lily shrugged.
“I saw the condition of your clothing, the way you stayed away from all adults, how eager you were to go away to school and how you spent every Holiday at Hogwarts. Only someone who hates their parents would be so happy to get away from them and stay away forever. I wouldn't worry, I think I was one of only a few who suspected. I never asked you if my hunch was correct because I knew you would feel obligated to explain things to me of all people and I didn't want you to have to relive all that pain. But I know that the only time I ever saw you happy was when you were spending time with me. Those were the only times I saw you smile. Well, at least until Megan came along.”
“Yes, it would be very uncomfortable to have described the cruelty of my father to you. You are correct in suggesting that your love and care got me through some of the toughest years of my life and your memory helped me survive each day after you were gone. But Megan . . .I cannot discuss her with you. It seems . . .wrong somehow to discuss your current love with the person who was your first and only love of your life for so long. I cannot dishonor my love of you by esteeming Megan to your face. It is almost. . . sacrilegious.” Snape turned his face away again.
“Oh,don't be ridiculous, Severus. I know you will always love me.” Lily touched his chest over his heart. “But you need to set me aside and let her have all of your heart. I am gone but Megan is very much alive and will stay that way if things progress as they have so far. You wouldn't give into those feelings because you thought you could never love anyone ever again after me. I know how it hurt you when I chose James but I told you that some day you would understand what true love, what soul mates, felt like. Now you know how I felt when I was with James. All I ever wanted for you was true love and happiness. Don't throw this opportunity away because of your lingering devotion to me. I have seen you with her, I see how you care but its not enough.”
Snape pulled his gaze back to Lily's face and lifted his eyebrows in surprise. His voice came out certain but coldly at the accusation.
“I have given Megan all of myself, if you were truly watching us together, you would have noticed that quite clearly.”
“That's crap and you know it. Not all of yourself is open to Megan. It may seem that way but there is a small piece of you that cannot let go of me and the deep love you have always felt for me. We both know that if this curse hadn't happened, if she had never regained her memory of your confession before the Final Battle, you would never have told her you love her. You would have let her slip away and use rules and decorum as excuses not to give into your feelings. You would have convinced yourself it was for the best to not love her as you desperately wanted to because you were too damn scared to love again after what had happened to me. Your scared now deep down because you fear Megan will die after all and the thought of losing her scares you ten times as much as losing me once did! It's time to let her all the way into your soul.”
“I refuse to stop loving you and I refuse to forget you and yes I love Megan so much my heart aches! I am petrified Megan will die! I am so afraid I keep seeing that night when I held your lifeless form and realized all my hopes and dreams were gone! I picture her there instead of you and my heart feels as if it will stop, as if I will die right with her. I cannot lose her. The pain would destroy me!”
Snape gulped and tried not to hyperventilate as he saw the image he was describing form in his mind. He pulled his knees to his chest and gripped his arms around them tightly, trying not to break down again.
“Megan will live. She will be healthy and happy, if only you would continue to love her. You are now linked minds. She feels what you feel and vise-versa. Megan knows there is apiece of you that will always love me and she respects this but she also knows you're terrified and that doesn't help her at all. Megan loves you more than I ever could. Take such a precious gift. Enjoy it and treasure it. You know what you need yo do: say it to my face.”
Snape shook his head violently and wouldn't look at her.
“I cannot do this. I will not.”
Lilly moved in front of Snape and grabbed his shoulders, shaking him hard.
“Say it to my face, Severus. It will free you.”
Snape looked into Lily's green eyes and took a deep breath.
“I will always love you but Megan is my soul mate. Megan Malfoy is my one true love.” Snape felt as if a huge weight was lifted off his chest. His body relaxed as he saw her face shine with pleasure and glee. “You are correct, as usual, that it is ridiculous to be concerned about besmirching my love for you by telling you how much I love Megan. I do love her very much even more than I loved you. It might be that seeing you and talking to you has made me realize that no matter how much I care for you and your memory, Megan is really the love of my life.”
"No, it's not wrong, Severus. You needed to realize that your deep feelings had to be vocalized to the only person you ever loved. Now, you need to pull yourself together and get back to Megan. You have to be stronger for her, especially with the complicated road ahead of both of you.”
Lily stood up and stretched. She smiled down at Snape who quickly jumped up and reached out.
“Please do not leave me yet, Lily, I need your strength and your friendship! I need your guidance and help. I have not a clue what to do next! I still need you in my life! I have always tried to honor you and my love for you every day. Without that piece of me, I do not know what will happen to me!”
Lily took Snape's hands and squeezed them hard. He looked like a cornered animal, his eyes were wide as saucers and pleading with her. She could sense his panic. A small tear slid down Lily's cheek but she gave him her best smile.
“You know what to do, Severus. You have my friendship, always, Severus. I will be there to give you strength, even if you can't see me. Though, come to think of it, not always. There are some moments that should be private.” She let go and chuckled as she stepped backwards. “If you want to honor me, my memory or the love you still have for me, then honor my wishes. I want to you to give into all your emotions with Megan:give her every part of your being. Go to her, Severus. Love her as she should be loved and feel no guilt or pain for her anguish because it will soon all be over. Then you will only have each other. Love is the most powerful emotion in all the world. Let her love you truly and wholly. Never hold anything back from her, keep no secrets, share your soul with its every scar and I know she will give you all the love you always needed but never got. Heal her, Severus and let her heal you like I always wanted to but couldn't. You couldn't make me any happier or honor my memory more than doing what I ask of you.”
“I can do what you ask. Even after you have been dead for nearly two decades, you are still bossy.” Snape folded his arms across his chest but his smirk was clearly visible.
Lily reached down and pulled a dead flower out of the ground. She put her palm up with the flower in it and it began to live again, growing into a freshly bloomed daisy. The white petals glimmered and the center turned bright orange. The stem became very green, the leaves unfurling on both sides. She offered the flower to Snape who grinned and took the flower.
“The day we first met.”Snape whispered.
“Keep it as a reminder of the friendship we shared and still do. Goodbye, Severus.”
With those words, Lily turned and began to fade as she walked away until there was nothing to see.
Snape closed his eyes, smelling the flower's sweet spring-like odor. Snape put the flower in the pockets of his robes, took a deep breath, shook himself off, and pulled up his chin. He started to walk away but stopped. He turned and scanned the area where she had just been. He whispered with a slight smile,
“Thank you, Lily.”
A breeze blew by Snape with the faint words which could only be Lily's,
“Your welcome, Severus.”
Snape nodded at the empty air and strode away with renewed purpose towards the castle. Snape didn't look back and didn't see it, but Lily was smiling at him.
Meanwhile. . . .Megan was in the dungeons after leaving her father with the promise of visiting tomorrow. The corridor was dimly lit and quite cold this time of year. Shivering, Megan opened the door to Snape's apartment and touched the brick wall in the hallway which now melted at her touch because he had adjusted the wards to recognize Megan. She made it two steps into the common room and suddenly doubled over and howled in pain. Feelings of deep sorrow and anguish flooded her senses. Kneeling on the floor, trying to catch her breath, she realized she was feeling Snape's emotions and they were staggeringly strong. Taking a very deep breath, Megan closed her eyes and mentally followed that invisible line between them. Concentrating hard enough, she couldn't only feel Snape's emotions, she could see through his eyes. Letting out a gasp of utter shock, Megan tried to disconnect from Snape's mind but she couldn't. Megan watched in horror the scene before her. She couldn't be seeing what she was seeing,it was impossible.
She was looking into the face of Lily Potter.
Megan began to cry as Snape's feelings of anguish were overcome by immense relief and longing. She was sobbing so hard she was barely able to breathe. Emotions flew through her so quickly: grief, love, pain, anguish and anxiety. Memories of Snape's early years: lying in the grass in overly large clothes talking to a red-haired little girl; being saved years later from humiliation by the same red-haired girl who is now a young woman; being confronted by that same young woman who looks very displeased, gesturing towards a group of young men with a gawky, teenage Snape; and then looking down at the dead body of a red-haired woman, dead on the floor, eyes wide open; Snape holding this woman on the damaged floor, rocking her body and wailing anguished sobs. Those images were quickly replaced by the image of the moment:
Snape holding that same red-haired woman hands and staring into her beautiful green eyes and radiant smile.
Then an emotion stuck Megan like a slap in the face:
Pure, deep, absolute love.
Megan tugged as hard as she could to unlink her mind from Snape's and finally get free. She tried small swallow breaths to calm herself. It was like someone had dumped a bucket of cold water on her body. She shivered and shuddered, trying very hard not to break down. The tattoo pulsed over and over and Megan felt a minor calming sensation but not as strong as usual. Managing to raise herself off the floor, she left Snape's quarters and wandered down the hallway blindly. She came to came to a door and knocked on it loudly. The door opened and Megan stood still shivering with her arms wrapped around her. She looked up into a pair of wide, shocked eyes. She tried to open her mouth but no sound came out.
Isabella took one look at her friend and immediately pulled her inside her common room. She led Megan to the couch in front of the fireplace and pulled a blanket around Megan. Her concern was obvious but she kept her mouth shut, knowing Megan would talk when she was ready. She called for a House Elf who was ordered to bring chamomile tea and coffee with cream and sugar. After the elf left, Isabella put her arms around her silent best friend and just held her. Suddenly, Megan pulled her eyes away from the fireplace and looked in complete shock at Isabella. She managed to whisper:
“He's with Lily. He still loves Lily. He . . .”
Megan burst into deep, heart-wrenching sobs that wracked her frame. Isabella just held her tighter with one arm, stroked the top of her hair with the other and rocked her like a small child.
“Just let out, come on, it's okay to let it all out. I'm here with you, you're never alone.” Isabella whispered.
The elf placed the tea tray gently on the small coffee table next to the couch and with a bow disappeared. Isabella just stayed silent and continued to let Megan cry. After some minutes the crying stopped and Megan began to breathe normally. Isabella waved her hand at a box of tissues which flew across the room and landed in her lap. Isabella took a tissue and wiped Megan's face with soft, gentle movements. Megan grabbed another tissue and blew her nose. She sat up and looked at Isabella.
“Thank you, Isa. I think I needed that cry more than I realized. It's just been so much to take it all in and now seeing Snape holding his first love, I feel like I am in over my head.”
Isabella rose and went to the tea tray. She poured the chamomile tea in a blue and white china cup, added a lump of sugar and handed it to Megan. While Megan sipped her tea, Isabella poured herself a cup of coffee, added two lumps of sugar and a dash of cream. While she stirred it, she asked Isabella what she had been wondering since Megan had mentioned Lily.
“Who is this Lily and what is Severus doing with her?”
“She is Lily, as in Lily Potter.” Megan sniffled.
Isabella nearly dropped her coffee cup. She blinked and said nothing for a few moments.
“THE Lily Potter?”Isabella squeaked out.
“The very same.”
“But I thought she was dead!”
Megan filled Isabella in on the recent connection with her dead mother which she and her father experienced. She explained how it must be the ghost of Lily visiting Snape.
“But why is she visiting Snape?” Isabella looked completely confused.
“I sometimes forget you haven't grown up in Britain and didn't go Hogwarts. There are parts of the history of the War that you don't know. In fact, I doubt there is anybody who knows everything that occurred, including Dumbledore. What I know is because I was in the center of the War with my father and mother being his loyal servants. Snape has had quite a difficult time before, during and after the War.”
Megan then proceeded to fill Isabella in on Snape's history with Lily Evans, later to be Potter, and all she experienced or saw in the last half hour. By the end of her story she was in tears again, but not as bad as before. Isabella sat down heavily and stared at the fire, completely dumbfounded. The silence grew and stretched until the crackling of the fire and the tick of a clock was all that could be heard. Finally, Isabella shook her head.
“Like I said earlier, every time I think I have my footing around here, you throw me another curve ball. Wow, Snape in love with Lily Potter . . . apparently since they were kids and now he's out hugging her ghost. This is crazy. Leave it to you to never have a dull moment in your life.” Isabella chuckled.
“Welcome to my life.” Megan laughed, too.
“Well, I think you're not seeing this at the right angle and only two people in this world can help you and I'm not one of them.”
Isabella summoned a House Elf again and asked the elf to find Lupin and Sirius and to direct them to her rooms. The elf disappeared with an audible 'pop' noise this time. Isabella refreshed her coffee and pushed more tea into Megan's hands.
“I would really love some of that coffee, actually.”
“No can do, my friend. Coffee isn't good for the fetus. You need to keep hydrated and calm. No caffeine for you.”
Megan scowled but took the tea grudgingly and began to sip it. In a few moments there was a knock on Isabella's door. She went and let the men in who were extremely concerned to be summoned. They rushed over to Megan on the couch. Sirius sat beside Megan, while Lupin pulled up a chair and sat on the edge of it, hands gripping his knees.
“What happened, Megan? You look quite upset.” Lupin scrutinized her face.
“My link to Severus allowed me to see and feel something very . . . . disturbing for me.”
Megan eyes both of the men warily but told them every detail of what happened. They exchanged looks of surprise and shock. Lupin regained his voice first.
“You're sure it was Lily?” He looked skeptical.
“Positive.” Megan muttered
Sirius sighed and shook his head as if he suddenly understood. He got up and paced in front of the fire.
“What do you think, old friend?” Lupin asked Sirius.
“I believe she sensed Severus' distress and, like Narcissa, was able to cross over briefly to our world. She meant well, I am sure of it. Lily always cared deeply for Severus, though not as much as she loved James. Lily would also have set Severus straight. Strangely, she always said she hoped Severus would find love and happiness but she feared it would never happen. Now though, with Megan in the picture, she probably advised him to love Megan and take care of her. I know he carried a torch for her long after her death. I know he was the first one to find her body but he never showed a hint of the devotion and love he still had for Lily. I am pretty sure what she would have done.” Sirius nodded to himself.
“I agree, Sirius. Severus' reaction was probably so strong because of the past. He must have been overwhelmed to see and hold her again but he had to have become more rational as their discussion went on, Lily would allow nothing less from him. Did you stay linked to him for the entire conversation? Maybe there was something you missed?” Lupin patted her knee.
“No, I couldn't handle the feelings he felt for her or take watching those images anymore. I guess I only caught the first five minutes of their encounter. I . . . don't know how it ended or what else went on after I pulled away from the connection.” Realization came over Megan's face. “Oh, no! I overreacted before I had all the facts. That's not like me at all. What is happening to me?” Megan's head fell into her hands.
“You witnessed the man you love very much exhibiting love for another woman. The pain was so strong it caused you to pull away from the connection and think the worst. Megan,” Lupin forced her to look at him. “I know Severus once loved Lily but she is gone and you're right here. He loves you more than his own life, I never thought I'd live to see it, but you are his happiness without a doubt.” Lupin smiled.
“Yes, despite my personal dealing and feelings for Severus, I, too, have not doubt of his love for you Megan. You must trust in what you feel but you also have to trust the feelings Severus has exhibited towards you.” Sirius also smiled encouragingly.
Megan blinked and began to wring her hands.
“Megan? Megan? Where are you? Megan? Answer me!” Snape's voice echoed in her head.
“I'm in Isa's rooms down the hall from your quarters. Remus and Sirius are with me.” Megan answered back
Megan turned her attention back to the group, still wringing her hands.
“Severus is on his way. He just linked his mind with mine and begged me to tell him where I was. I can feel his anxiety. He's so nervous.” She started biting her lower lip.
“I can only imagine why.” Isa commented sarcastically.
There was a knock on the door.
“Come on in!” Isabella yelled.
Snape strode purposefully through the door and quickly scanned the room, anxiety written all over his face. When he spotted Megan on the couch, he rapidly walked over. Lupin moved his chair backwards a little so Severus could get by him. He sat down next to Megan and pulled her into a tight hug.
“I could not discover where you had gone and I became frightened something had happened to you.” He pulled back from her limp frame and scanned her face. He immediately became suspicious. “What is wrong? I can see you have been crying. Furthermore, it is obviously quite serious if all three of these people had to come to your aid. Whatever could have occurred that you cannot even look me in the eyes? I sense your angst and even anger but mostly heart-breaking sadness. Megan?”
“Lily Potter?” She barely whispered.
Snape's shoulders fell and he sighed.
“I see. I would gladly explain myself but we should take this conversation to my private quarters. I mean no disrespect to any person in this room but there are things I would like to share which are very private.”
“We understand, Severus.” Sirius said for everyone in room who was nodding in agreement.
Snape nodded his head in thanks and stood, offering Megan a hand which she took without a word. Shrugging off the blanket and standing up, Megan gave them all a weak smile. She turned back to Isabella at the door before they left the room,
“Thanks, Isa. I don't know what I would do without you.”
“Anytime, Blondie.” Isa winked and grinned.
The two walked slowly to Snape's apartment. When they arrived in the common room, Severus let go of Megan's hand and turned her to face him.
“I cannot possibly answer all your questions you undoubtedly have. I also have the impression you did not witness the whole encounter. So, look into my eyes and follow the link that binds us.” Snape ordered.
Megan sighed but followed his orders. She really didn't really think she could stand seeing Snape touching Lily again and professing his love but she was curious what else happened. Concentrating on his obsidian pupils, she felt that invisible line between them and pulled hard on it at the same time. Suddenly, she was witnessing the whole incident from beginning to end. After almost twenty-five minutes, she broke eye contact. Megan let out a sigh of relief and a single tear slipped down her cheek.
“I can't believe I jumped to the conclusion that you still loved her completely. To think I thought you didn't really love me, not truly. I am so sorry, Severus. Please forgive me?”
“I forgive you. I love you more than I ever loved Lily but I had to face her, so to speak and admit my fears and emotions. I thought I could never truly let anyone into my heart and soul completely because they would not love me if they saw what I was and what I have done. I was wrong. Very wrong, in fact. Lily is right. It's time to give myself completely over to you and trust your love will not subside once you know all there is to know.” Snape walked away towards the bookshelves.
“Completely? But you have given me all of yourself. I'm confused. What did she mean? Severus, what are you doing?”Megan followed him to the cabinet.
“Letting you have access to my every feeling, memory, incident, pain, desolation, joy, and love.”He waved his wand at the three glass covered shelves and the Electric Guarding Spell fell away. The metal locks clicked and the glass slid open on all three shelves. He gestured to the shelves.
“Now you have access to every part of me. We will have no secrets. My life is here for you to read at your leisure. I will never lock up these shelves again. Everything that I am and everything I have is yours.”
Megan couldn't help but smile as she carefully ran her hands across the spines of the journals. She turned to Snape and threw her arms around Snape's neck in thanks, hugging him. Snape wrapped his arms around Megan and sighed.
“I love you so much, Megan. Never doubt my affections.”
“I love you, too and I never will again.”
Megan kissed Severus lightly but the kissed quickly deepened and their hands began to pull at each others clothing in desperation to be skin to skin. Severus started backing them towards the bedroom without letting go of her lips. When they arrived in the bedroom, Snape pulled back for Megan, gesturing toward the bed.
“Before the evening went all to Hell, I had other things in mind.”
Megan saw the gorgeous sheets with the white and blue rose petals. She picked up a handful and tossed them in the air. Severus laughed.
“I knew you would love my decorating skills.”
“Yes and I love you, Severus Snape.”
Megan stepped back and began to undress slowly. Snape reached for her but she stepped back farther. He was suddenly entranced by Megan slowly revealing inch by inch her creamy skin which he knew was so soft. He watch as her shirt and pants hit the floor but with her bra she ever so slowly slid the cups over each breast, revealing her taut nipples. Snape lick his lips as she agonizingly slowness slipped her lacy underwear off her blonde mound and down her legs. Snape, feeling his arousal threatening to rip through his trousers, quickly divested himself of all his clothing. Megan laid down on the bed and opened her arms to Snape. Her went to her and climbed next to her on the bed. She used her hands to push the hair hanging in the way and held his face in both hands. Eyes pleading with him, Megan whispered:
“Make love to me Severus.”
Snape's answer was to kiss Megan gently. He scooted down the bed and slowly kissed up Megan's legs. Taking his time to savor every inch of her he could taste and touch. He skipped past her core and worked his way up her belly, around her new tattoo and going farther up. Snape heard Megan panting slightly, a flush spreading over her face and chest. He circled his tongue around her left nipple while his hand caressed her right nipple. The hardened beads of flesh were very sensitive as he switch between the left and the right nipple multiple times. Megan had her hands in his hair, making desperate mewling noises which were quickly turning into moans. He kissed up the side of her neck, then his lips caressed each eyelid, each cheek, before he claimed her mouth in a deep but gentle kiss. Their tongue danced and brushed lightly over each other as Snape's hand wondered down, slipping two fingers through her wet outer lips. She groaned as his fingers circled her nub in quick, light strokes. Her hips began to move against his fingers. Megan pulled back from the kiss as Snape deftly squeezed her nub between his slippery fingers. Throwing back her head in a long moan, Megan pulled Snape's face back into her line of vision and begged.
“Please, Severus. . . .love me.”
"Your wish is my command.”
Snape slipped his body between her open thighs and guided himself slowly into her core. A moan came from Snape's lips as he felt the tight wetness squeezing him. He leaned down over Megan. As she lifted her hips to meet his body, he slipped his arms around her back. Laying chest to chest, Snape stared into her eyes as he moved slowly and deeply. With every stroke Megan's breathing became faster, her face more flushed and the incoherent noise of pleasure increased. But he never sped up, even though he badly wanted to and tried to stretch the pleasure out as long as possible. He gave into the sensations and leaned his forehead against Megan's as the pleasure reached an agonizing level. Just as Megan felt herself about to crash over the edge, her voice rough with moaning,
“Look me at me, Severus. I love you!”
Snape locked eyes with Megan and whispered back,
“I love you, too.”
With that they both screamed in absolute mind-numbing pleasure as their orgasms crashed over them. Snape and Megan kept moving their bodies against each other as they rode the pleasure. With in seconds, another orgasm rocked their frames, causing Megan's nails on his back to draw blood. Suddenly, the room was bathed in a bright white light. Both were too wrapped up in their own pleasure to see it at first but as their movement slowed and the last orgasm receded they notice the light. It was lessening as their pleasure did until it faded and disappeared between them. Snape pulled back from Megan's body enough to see the light had faded to a slight glow on the tattoo then completely disappeared. Snape looked puzzled as Megan, who had raised herself on her elbows to look at her stomach.
“What was that?” Megan voice cracked with effort.
“Probably the tattoo reacting to our bodies touching. Considering it contains our blood combined,it only makes sense. Do not worry, my love. We can examine the issue in the morning.”
“Okay. I'm too exhausted to move anyway.”
Snape pulled away from Megan completely and ran his hand over her abdomen. He shrugged. Smiling, Snape laid down and pulled Megan to him. Resting her head on his chest, she tried not to let the strange light destroy her afterglow. After a few minutes, Snape was breathing deeply, obviously asleep. Megan listened to his breathing and closed her eyes, trying to breathe with him. For the first time in weeks she felt herself falling asleep.
A few hours later, Megan awoke on her side with Snape holding her back tightly to his chest. The clock said she had a couple hours until dawn. Thinking of how hungry and thirsty she was, Megan slowly pulled out of his grasp, sat up and stretched. Walking into the bathroom, Megan used the facilities and walked to the sink to wash her face and get a glass of water. She saw herself in the mirror and did a double-take . She stopped rubbed her eyes and waved a hand at the wall sconces to make the room very bright. She let out a shriek of surprise.
“Megan? Megan what's wrong?”
Snape came rushing bleary-eyed into the bathroom. It took a moment for his eyes to adjust to the brightness. When they did his jaw dropped in shock.
“How in everything Merlin holds holy is this possible?” Megan shouted, terrified.
“I have not the faintest idea.”
Megan turned back to the mirror and let her hands caress her belly, to see if it was truly real. It was very real.
Megan had gone from a few days pregnant to starting to show like she was five months pregnant.
