Title: A Godfather's duty

Summary: Lily's dead, Severus is in mourning. He contemplates what to do with the rest of his life when fate takes a hand.
A/n: Thank you for all of the ideas. I hope these last five chapters wrap this story up properly...
No one asked for this but I wanted to show Harry bonding with his sister who he hasn't 'seen' since the womb. Plus it's been a while since we got Harry's POV right?

Outtake 2
Harry felt strangely safe when he was levitated into a chair with a handle like mama uses to take him to healer.
Magic meant safe! He was given to the white hair stranger who held him and sang to him when he was crying. Harry didn’t know his name but Harry remembered he was with Sebi.
Would the man take him to Sebi?
The fire was safe; he remembered mama and dadi taking him on adventures in fire.
He was handed to man with honey and yellow-brown eyes.
“Hello Harry, I’m your uncle Remus. You’re safe now; you have myself, your uncle Severus and your sister here we’re going to be your new family.”
“Sebi?” Harry whispered.
“Yes, Sebi is here. Let’s go have a bath…”
Harry sniffed. “No bath. Be good.”
“You’re safe now, no one is going to hurt you. You’re home with people who love you.”
Harry wanted Sebi, mama and dadi…
Harry didn’t move the whole time he was in the bath but Remy didn’t scare him…
Harry was dried gently and dressed in a clean nappy and warm clothes as well as wrapping in a warm blanket.
Remus sat on a bed and called out Sebi’s name talking about home.
Severus woke up immediately and sat up, blinking, “Who?”
Remus beamed at him, “Harry’s home.”
Harry whimpered, “Sebi?”
Then Sebi’s familiar voice whispered, “Harry?”
“Sebi!” Harry said happily as he held out his stick arms, “Up!”
Sebi took Harry in his arms and sobbed, “You’re safe, you’re home, how?”
“Lucius brought him home.” Remy said as he cuddled with them.“He said he was going home…”
Was Lucy the nice man who sang to him?
“Narcissa said he couldn’t come home until Harry was home…” Sebi sniffed like he was going to cry while he rocked Harry who clutched at his pyjama top.
Sebi and Remy talked but Harry didn’t listen, he was with Sebi…he was safe.

Harry had been fed and put to bed feeling safe…
Only to wake up to the muttering of a happy baby…
“Baby! Up!”
“Hawy.”
“Cora. Cora Hawy Sissy.”
Harry frowned at the girl, “Sissy?”
“Cora and Hawy same mama.” The sun-hair girl said with a grin.
“Where mama?” Harry asked.
“Mama angel. Dat dadi.” Cora waved toward the honey hair man who gave Harry to Sebi.
“Remy.” Harry frowned.
Cora shook her head. “Dadi.”
“Remy and Sebi.” Harry pouted.
“Dadi and papa.” Cora insisted. “Papa make Hawy and Cora big sissy and bwathy.”
Harry frowned, “Sebi no want Hawy?
Cora frowned, “No! Papa no happy wit no Hawy. Papa have baby!”
Harry was so confused.
Cora used more words and he didn’t understand everything.
Then Sebi was smiling at him and he was giving a clean nappy and warm clothes before food.
Remy took care of Cora and was gentle unlike mean people.

Harry was starting to feel safe but he had to see Sebi or he’d start to cry.
Cora patted his face when they were alone and he was crying.
“Der der bwathy. No cry. Sissy here. Hawy saff na.”
Harry was surprised when Cora gave him kisses.
“Sissy here. Sleep na.”
Harry fell asleep holding Cora’s hand, she made him feel safe like Sebi.

A/n: I have my reasons for why Cora can 'talk so well' at sixteen months: One Remus and Lily are brilliant, Two girls develop verbally much faster then boys, Three Remus likely talked 'adult talk' around her especially around the pack and Four she's magical so of course she develops faster! They are adorable right?
