Chapter 23: Christmas Part 1
Soft hands were roaming her body, so gentle so soft. Warm lips kissing and sucking on her neck then start to desend. She gasped in surprise when she felt a tounge on her nipple and they sucked and licked as a hand was on the other. All to soon those lips were gone but then attacked the other nipple just as they did the first. Another gasp came from her lips when she felt a finger slowly slide inside of her. She was so wet she couldn't believe it herself. She ran her hands through the soft hair and pulled at it as if she was to ask for more. A second finger slide in and slowly started to move in and out of her. Just when she thought there were no more surprises she felt a soft pressure rubbing her clit and she arched up at the sensation. Those lips finally met hers and she wrapped herself around her pulling her closer not letting go. She could feel it building as the fingers picked up the pace. She moved her hips to met them and they set a perfect pace. She pulled away and let a moan. She was in heaven and she wanted this to last. The fingers started moving faster and harder and she arched even more feeling warm skin against hers, "You drive me crazy," she whispered in her lover's ear. Not all to soon after she said that she let out a soft scream and climaxed. She held her lover close until she was ready to come back down.
"How long have they been in there?" Mike asked looking at his watch. It was Christmas Eve and it was close to midnight everyone was meeting in the Heads common room to have some cookies and eggnog and talk about tomorrow. The ball was tomorrow and the band had to set up early so they wouldn't be able to spend Christmas morning with their friends. But they decided to spend it after the ball and exchange gifts that night as well.
"They haven't left the room since we got back from the Three Broomsticks," Draco said taking a sip of his drink.
"Holy shit! Are they ever gonna come out of there?" Ron asked taking another cookie. Just as he spoke Riley and Hermione came out of Riley's room with huge smiles on their faces. They walked over to their friends and Eric gave them each a glass of eggnog. "We were about to send a search party on you guys," he said with a smirk and took his seat next to Susan. Hermione blushed so much an she would be able to beat out the brightest red apple out there. Riley just smirked and sipped on her eggnog.
"We weren't in there for THAT long," Riley said and reached over and grabbed a cookie.
Everyone looked at each other and looked back at her. "What?" she asked looking at them as if she did something wrong. "Let's just say you've been in there since Three Broomsticks." Harry spoke up and raised his glass.
"Yeah dude you pretty much broke your record of staying in a room," Kelsey teased and patted Riley on her shoulder as he stood up and went to the front of the group. "We have a little announcement to make." Mike got up and stood next to him.
"As of six tomorrow morning Outsiders will be part of Red Label Records," Mike announced. Riley, Eric and Ryan looked at the two of them as if their heads exploded.
"You're kidding right? I mean Red Label Records?" Riley asked standing up still not wanting to believe.
"We meet with them at six I already looked over the contract with Kelsey. We will have a ten year record deal with them and not only are they best known in the magical world they also have a record label in the Muggle world as well. We will be touring all over the world and we hit the studio right after we graduate," Mike explained.
"Seriously? This is for real?" Eric asked. Mike and Kelsey nodded. Next thing they knew they were getting soaked with champagne. Ryan had opened a bottle and started to spray it all over them. Riley laughed and hugged all over her friends. Susan, Ginny, Ron, Draco, Emma, Luna and Harry joined them and gave them each a hug. Riley picked up Hermione and swung her around. Nothing could bring their spirits down tonight or tomorrow. This was the best news they have gotten in a long time.
Harry watched as his friends celebrated the news. He smiled and couldn't help but he be happy for them. This was the biggest news and the best news they have gotten in weeks. He knew they had to get through the dark to go to the light. There was still a threat out there and he wanted to keep everyone safe. He didn't want to see any of them hurt. They all have gotten close over the last few months and the last time he had this feeling was when he found out about Voldemort. He hoped that he wasn't back and was behind the nightmares that Riley was having. He wanted to put that thought out of his mind but he couldn't help it. It was there it was lingering and he didn't want to. Draco must have read his thoughts and nodded towards him to let him know to go to his room.
Harry went and waited for Draco to join him. He didn't have to wait long when he heard the closing of the door and he sat in a chair. Draco said the silencing and locking charm and sat in the chair opposite of Harry. "You feel it too?" he asked and Harry nodded. "Have you seen Lavender around?"
Harry shook his head, "I haven't seen her since Halloween to tell you the truth." Draco nodded.
"I think she maybe the link to Riley's nightmares. We haven't seen her since Halloween and she wasn't around for the Jessie Pansy ordeal. I haven't noticed anyone else out of the normal. I didn't want to let everyone know since it's Christmas and all. I don't want to ruin the holidays so I'll just wait until after New Years." Draco sighed and rubbed his eyes. He was relieved to finally let some one in. He wasn't sure if he was able to keep his theory to himself anymore. The last thing he wanted to do was alarm them with Christmas being here. For once he wanted things to be normal and he would do that for the next couple of weeks and do whatever it takes to make it so.
"I can't believe we missed her. She was here in the common room with us and laughing, spending time with us and then poof she's gone." Harry stood up and walked over to the fire and crossed his arms over his chest. He couldn't believe he missed her. They've been so careful since Jessie and Pansy and after that they let their guard down. After Riley's first couple of nightmares they had to put their guards back up. He felt Draco put his hand on his shoulder, "Don't worry mate we'll figure this all out soon. Come on let's get back out there." Harry nodded and they walked out of Draco's room and back to their friends. He put the thoughts behind him and focused on tonight and the next few days to come.
"Okay I know we said no gifts til tomorrow but I couldn't wait to give you guys these." She said and started to pass out small gifts to everyone. The guys were handed small red boxes with a blue ribbon around them and the girls were handed small rectangluar boxes with pink ribbons around them. Riley smiled as they opened them and they all looked up at her with smiles on their faces. The guys got silver rings with different color stones on them and the girls got necklaces with different color stones as well. "Okay so for the guys and me the stones colors represent your houses but for us," She pointed at her band mates and herself, "We have the stone of our favorite colors crimsion and black. Merry Christmas everyone." They echoed it back to her and she smiled as Hermione came up to her and she helped her put on her new necklace.
She turned around and smiled, "What about the locket you gave me?" Riley just smiled and gently took hold of her wrist, "You can put it on here any time you want. Think of it as a charm; and when you want to wear it around your neck you can put it back."
"You think of everything don't you?" Riley just responded with a kiss.
The night was coming to a close and everyone but Riley, Draco and Harry were the only ones left in the Heads' common room. They thanked her again for the rings and she just waved her hand and told them it was the least she could do. Her and all the guys were wearing it on their right middle fingers and they wore them with pride now. What she didn't tell them was that they were charmed to let them know if one of them was in danger. They would give off a warm tingling sensation at first but if the danger was getting greater the rings would warm up more to the point they would want to take it off. The girls' necklaces worked in the same way only it would give off a soft light and just as the rings go the greater the danger the brighter the light. She wanted to make sure everyone around her was protected and this was her way of protecting them. Hermione already had a bracelet, but that was only if Riley was in danger. Now she had something in case some one else was in danger. Her nightmares were getting worse every night but she could see some things clearer. It was just hard to remember when she wakes up in the morning.
She could barley remember them no matter how hard she would try. .Dumbledore even tried to reach into her mind but he kept getting kicked out and she told him that she wasn't doing it. This was going to be harder than she thought and she didn't want anyone to see her pain just yet. She couldn't shake this feeling that something terrible was about to happen and she wanted to keep that feeling to herself. She didn't want to give everyone anything else to worry about. If the time came where she had to protect her family, the woman she loves and her friends she would do it in a heartbeat. The last thing she wanted was for them to get hurt.
She was so lost in thought that she didn't hear a voice call her name until Harry gently touched her arm, "I'm sorry did you say something?" she asked looking at them both.
"We were wondering if you saw Lavender lately," Draco said and then he watched Riley go pale as a ghost.
"What's wrong?"
"I see her in my dreams." She said slowly and got up and walked over to the window. "Wait, what do you mean you see her in your dreams?" Harry asked going over to her.
"When I fall asleep she's the first person I see and she tells me something different every time. She tells me that I need to be ready, or that it's too late and I can't stop it. In my last dream she told me that my last day was coming and it was coming soon," she looked at them as the tears silently fell. "I thought you said you couldn't remember that much of your dreams," Harry pointed out and Riley nodded, "Yeah, but for some reason she's the only one I remember." Harry nodded this just maybe the small chance they had to finally rid Riley of this nightmares. He put his hands on her shoulders, "Riley, we will figure this out, I promise," she nodded and he pulled her into a hug. Draco sighed and looked at the clock it was almost two in the morning. It was too late to go down and see Snape he would have to see him in the morning. He put his hand on Riley's shoulder, "We won't let anything else happen to you I swear it," he whispered. Riley nodded and she pulled him in a hug with Harry.
"She's right within our grasp! Why can't we take her now?!" A strong deep voice said.
"We have to wait for the master's orders. We don't want another incident like with those to bitches." Another voice came only there was softer tone to it. But still it was cold and would send shivers down a person's spine if they weren't careful.
"They were young and didn't know what the fuck they were doing!"
"Calm now Smith. We will get her soon and everything will be right as it was before." Even though it was dark the two figures one tall and one shorter smiled evily as they looked upon the castle. They would just have to get the girl, bring her to their master and they would go home. It was just a matter of time.
