Clutching his head in agony as he was assaulted with his mate's pain as his body started to change from the venom rushing through his veins, Jasper whimpered and dropped to lay on his side on the bed.

Whining at the pain he'd put his mate in by biting him, Jasper pulled the still form into his arm and tried to shut him mind down so that he wasn't assaulted by his mate's pain.

Lying there beside his still Harry, Jasper pressed kisses to the skin that was burning with heat from the venom. It would last until an hour before he woke up as a vampire.

As he lay there though, he knew that the agony he was currently feeling was worth it because once Harry woke up they'd be together for the rest of time as both vampires and mates.
