Note: Slowing down on the writing juuuust a bit, as it turns out, I have damaged my right wrist somehow... However, it shall not keep me from writing as a whole ;P

"So, you and Luna. Are you officially together now, my sly Slytherin friend?" Hermione asked as she and Adrien sat at breakfast together.

They had gotten only a few hours of sleep, but luckily neither of them were hung over. Being that Luna had decided not to drink, Adrien decided not to either.

"Ah, a new nickname for me, have we?" Adrien laughed. "Yes. Yes we are." he answered, suddenly perking up when he caught sight of the girl in question coming into the Great Hall.

Hermione turned her attention toward the giant oak doors and saw the girl coming toward the two of them, shortly followed by someone else. The Gryffindor's cheeks began to burn as Severus entered the Hall. He made momentary eye contact with her before he stopped to speak to Adrien.

"Late night, Adrien? You look rather tired." he commented.

"Yeah. You don't look tired at all." Adrien said smoothly.

"I retired early..." Severus trailed off, taking a sideways glance at Hermione.

Hermione could tell it was taking Adrien every ounce of willpower that he ever had, not to burst into laughter.

"Well... Good. I'm glad you finally got a good night's rest." he replied.

"Do you not ever sleep, Professor Snape? Perhaps you should try a Potion for that." Luna mused sweetly next to Adrien, her big blue eyes glossed over with a dreamy expression.

Severus raised a brow, and looked almost amused. He had to admit, the Lovegood girl had always been the one that pissed him off the very least out of all the students he ever had at Hogwarts. In fact, he couldn't ever remember a time that he ever had to get on her case about anything at all. Adrien was clearly into this girl, and it made Severus happy. Compared to some of the other girls Adrien had chosen to associate himself with, Luna was more than acceptable.

"Thank you... For that, Miss Lovegood. I shall consider it." he replied, and swiftly swept away to take up his place at the staff dais.

As soon as Severus was out of ear shot, Adrien simply exploded. His arms had been resting crossed on the table's surface, and he slammed his face down on them, and Hermione could almost feel the entire table shaking with his laughter. She had to admit, the sight was hilarious. Moments later he rose, red faced, and took a deep breath.

"Ooooooooh.." he groaned loudly, trying not to laugh any more.

"Honestly, it really isn't that funny, Adrien." Hermione snapped, but laughed as well in spite of herself.

"Oh, yes. It is. It's more than funny. It's fucking rich."

"I am so confused..." Luna smiled, glancing between Adrien and Hermione.

Hermione sighed. "It's just... Oh never mind. I'm going to class. I reckon you two will catch up." she said, taking a glance toward Severus who seemed to be eyeing the scene closely before he disappeared behind a copy of the Daily Prophet.

"He saw you laughing Adrien!" Hermione hissed.

"So? You could have just said something absolutely hilarious. Get to class." he teased her.

'See me after class.'

Hermione read the note that Severus candidly placed next to her on her table during Potions, and had to hide her excitement. She glanced over at Adrien who seemed to be so involved in his Potion brewing that he didn't even realize he had given her a note.

Seeing that the class was soon to end for the day, she dawdled on her Potion so she had an excuse to stay behind. Adrien finished his Potion, as always looking all too pleased with himself for his accomplishment. Apparently his mind was so clouded with thoughts of Luna to even want to be constantly reading Hermione's thoughts, and she was grateful for it. Not that she would ever hide anything from Adrien, or that she even had an excuse to, but sometimes, it was nice to have a thought to herself for a change.

The enchanted bells sounded signaling the class had come to an end.

"Coming?" Adrien asked as he made to leave the classroom.

"I've got to finish this first." Hermione said motioning toward her Potion.

Adrien seemed to understand what she was doing, and gave her another of his infamous cheeky winks before he followed the rest of the students out of the room.

"So." Severus began quite snappily, almost startling Hermione.

"Yes?" she asked, becoming acutely aware that they were once again alone together. The idea excited her all over again.

"I have to ask, Miss Granger, am I some kind of bet?" He asked as he stood in front of her with his arms folded over his chest; a scrutinizing brow cocked at her.

Hermione's excitement instantly faltered at the question.

"What do you mean?" she asked, furrowing her brow in confusion.

"Did my son dare you to have sexual relations with me, or did you do it on your own accord?" he asked, with the same expression.

"I-Of course I did it on my own accord. I can't just... Very well give myself to someone I don't genuinely like." she ranted, blush spreading across her cheeks at her own words.

Severus's expression softened. She... Liked him?

"You... Like me... Miss Granger?"

Hermione idly stirred the contents in her cauldron before she stared up at him.

"Yes. I would have thought that was clear, given the circumstances..." she trailed off.

"What circumstances?" he asked slowly.

"Well, the fact that I was a virgin before I went to your office last night doesn't sum it up enough for you?" she asked, surprising herself with her boldness.

The images began to swim in Severus's mind. Hermione thrashing about beneath him, her walls quaking around him. Mmm...

"Very well." he said, snapping himself out of his reverie. "You understand why I ask, I hope. Adrien is a bit difficult to read at times. I feel that I may have taught him too well... Never the less, I know what he's doing. I am no fool, but I will say I'm glad he has the tendency to not mind his own business."

Hermione blushed all over again. "So... You're not angry on that end of it?" she asked.

"Not in the slightest. It takes a bit more than a game of cat and mouse to make me angry, Miss Granger." he smirked.

"Don't you believe we're past formalities?" Hermione asked, raising a brow of her own. "Anyway, I'm done with this Potion."

Severus took a look into her cauldron, and waved his hand over it, making the contents disappear. "Nice work."

"Where has it gone?" Hermione asked incredulously.

"Never mind that. I would like a repeat performance." he stated before he could even think.

Hermione blushed furiously at his lack of shyness as she grabbed her bag and stood, readying herself to leave the classroom. Severus came around the table and enveloped her in a very surprising, very passionate kiss; his hands tangled themselves in her hair while he worked his lips over hers. Hermione let a moan escape her while he lightly ran his tongue along her lower lip.

"Oh my gods.." she breathed, feeling the space between her thighs moisten once again with her desire. Yet, disappointment set in, as she knew the moment couldn't last long. She had another class that she was due in.

"Tonight." he said into the nape of her neck before he placed another hot kiss on her skin.

"I'll be there..." she assured him.

Severus grudgingly released her, and watched as the girl made her way out of the classroom after taking one last longing look at him. Hermione couldn't control the smile that inhabited her features for the rest of the day, and she felt mischievious as everyone wondered what the girl was so happy about.
