They spent the next couple of days in bliss. They held each other as much as possible and they wished for more time but they knew that eventually, they would have to leave the castle and save their friends.
They were cuddled up together on the sofa soaking in the warmth from the fire. They had spent days talking about anything and everything. They felt like they knew each other better than anyone else in their lives. Hermione loved the feel of Draco’s strong arms wrapped around her body from behind. She wrapped her arms around his and pulled him against her body. She could feel every inch of his body pressed firmly against hers.
Once he was pulled in, she started to feel that familiar butterfly sensation in her belly and tingling in her lower region. He was worried about losing her again. He would die before he let anything happen to her this time and he would stay by her side every step of the way.
            “Draco, it’s okay. I will be fine.” It was like she had read his mind.
“I know. I will make sure of it but I still worry about you.” He was completely honest with her and she felt her cheeks blush at his candid response.
“We will be together, no matter what, and at least this time, we know what to expect.” She looked at him with a small smile. She didn’t want him to worry about her but she knew he would anyway because she couldn’t help but worry about him in return.
            They already had their things gathered up and all that was left for them to do was to leave the castle and finally save their friends. If only it would be that easy.
            Hermione and Draco had been walking for hours when Hermione finally decided to break the silence. “I feel really bad for leaving Ginny like that. What if she needs us or something and we won’t be there for her?”
            Draco smirked at her and let out a small chuckle.
“What’s so funny?” She asked confused.
“What’s funny is that you said the same thing to me last time.” He smiled at her and then reached out and grabbed her hand, interlacing their fingers.
“Don’t worry, she will be fine. You worry too much, trust me.”
She realized that she did trust him, entirely. She knew that he wouldn't lie to her and if he said Ginny will be fine then she will be fine. She was sure of it.
She smiled at him, “You remember what I said last time?” She chuckled softly.
He squeezed her hand tightly in his.
“Of course I remember, I remember everything from last time. I was falling in love with you.. that makes it all pretty memorable.”
They kissed softly and then continued walking. Draco had already told her that the travel would take most of the day and she didn’t want to delay them by worrying too much.
He ended up being right, of course, the walk did take most of the day and some parts of the walk were through a forest and some were more like a desert. It didn’t make much sense to her but he assured her that it was exactly the same last time and they were definitely headed in the right direction.
“Hermione look.” He pointed at a broken-down house in front of them. It was a big house that looked as if it was beautiful somewhere at an earlier time but now some of the windows were boarded and others were left broken with shades hanging raggedly out of the broken glass.
The house was very dark now but she could tell that there was a lighter color under all the darkness. Hermione stood there gaping while Draco started to look around. He hurriedly pulled her aside and they hid behind a tall tree.
            “What’s wrong?” She whispered as they crouched down behind the tree.
“This is where it all started going bad last time. My father showed up right after us and grabbed you.” He was looking around their surroundings, trying to figure out their next move.
“I remember you telling me about it. He did some kind of spell on you, right? To make you bring us here and we would be trapped?”
“Yea.” He sighed.
“There was nothing I could do last time. He already had you and I had to play along but it was too late to save you. This time we are doing things differently.”
She nodded her head in agreement.
“We need to find my father and when we do, I will kill him.”
He spoke with such hatred that it surprised her but she didn’t question him. She already knew why he had made this decision. She knew that Lucius Malfoy was the one that killed her.

Author's Note: Thank you all for sticking with the story. I am hoping to finish this story really soon. I am also going to attempt to post new chapters every Friday. I do have college classes and 4 kids so my life is crazy busy but I am planning to schedule new chapters from now on.
