Secrets
epilogue
Draco gave an interview to another reporter during the book signing, thanking his father for his kind words and expressing remorse for anyone who couldn’t get a book signed on the day of the original event. He stayed at the store an extra two hours that day to accommodate the mass amount of people who had showed up.
His publisher sent him a weekly package of fan mail that readers had sent in and he spent a good amount of time while Ron was at work reading. He answered as many as he could, and worked on the sequel quickly, getting it to Mr. Rickman right on schedule. The second book would be released as expected in the coming months and the Weasleys had organized a party to celebrate his success. His book was continuing to sell, and orders had been taken for the second one already.
Draco approached Ron in the backyard of the family home and took a seat on his lap. “You look tired.”

“I’m tired. We haven’t even eaten and I’ve been all over the place.” He said, resting his forehead against Ron’s.
“Could you use a pick-me-up?” He asked.
“Why?” He asked, lifting his head.
“Look.” He nodded his head toward the house.
Draco’s face lit up when he saw his parents with the Weasleys, walking out towards the tables. Ron smiled as Draco got up off his lap and ran toward his father. For a brief moment, he had a glimpse of what a little blonde boy might have looked like running to hug father when he came home. His face shown with happiness and Ron was grateful that he had been blessed enough to see that happiness directed at him.
He loved Draco, and he thanked Merlin everyday for putting them together
