Disclaimer: I do not own Harry Potter, nor any of the characters from the books or movies. I do not make any money from the writing of this story. |
AN: And again, this is a long bunch of review responses, but I don't want to slight anyone. The chapter is longer, because the issue requires more than just a quick resolution. Kay?
Mashkai: Poor confused Harry.
jujukittty: Hermione might be a bit busy for dealing with Ron and Harry will get a wake-up call.
kyuubichild1717: I agree.
unneeded: Let the balancing begin!
thrnbrooke: Absolutely!
CocoaMocha: (Oooh, chocolate rush!) You have the basic idea, now how to deal with this? Let's just see, shall we?
Morbid_and_Sexy: That's the spirit!
gobert: Draco is a favorite of mine, I'll admit. Along with Cedric, Seamus, Blaise, Dean and Harry. I try to keep them in character, even though this may go against that, a bit.
Kira123456: I'm back, again.
Anon: No, I think Draco is strong, when he's fighting for the right things. Dark Lords, not so much, Family and love, More power to him!
Jan: I live to please . . . :)
momoleighann: I like to think this isn't just a Harem Story.
dragonlilly1993: Yes, and I don't want to see any of these wonderful characters turn into little whimpering girl types, the way I have in other dominance stories. It grinds my nerves and then I just stop reading them. The loss of the character's identity is too much.
Gobert: Took your advice, myself. I just reread the entire story, and made some notes for future chaps. Good idea! I’ll try to clear up the inconsistencies with James and get to the whole Hermione/Isabel conspiracy. Draco is percolating nicely, and the babies are starting to show. With twins they usually do, sooner. If you have any other favorite quotes, I love knowing it.
Jordan C: You must have taken Gobert’s advice, too. Glad you’re enjoying my work. Sorry for the long delay. I just went part time at work, cause University is much harder than Comm Coll. Got mostly B’s and one definite A. Yeah, me.
Chapter Twenty-four: Twice as Deceptive
The Special Needs of Creature Young
Small children with specific creature breeds can have special needs and therefore require some specific items or circumstances that other children would not need. In some cases, space is the issue, because the children have size or shapeshifting issues that come about earlier, or perhaps they are of a fire-emitting race, and accidents might happen if furnishing around them were not fire-proofed with strong enough spells.
Most unusual are the children of creatures that have an affinity for flight, since they are not born with that capacity, but have a need to experience it in some way before they reach their inheritance. Often a toy broom, that can obtain a slight altitude, is enough, but some children must have more. Each parent must determine these parameters for their own child, but be warned that decisions are very important or a child might try to achieve this alone and that would be dangerous for them.
"You did what!" Isabel asked, leaning so far forward that her hair dangled over her cup of tea.
"I just wanted some peace. Is that too much to ask for?" Harry rebutted.
"But you didn't ask for it." Isabel qualified. "You didn't ask, you ordered."
"Well, technically."
"Not technically. You ordered one man to concede to the other, without even suggesting that it be a fair compromise. You basically told Draco that he was wrong and Weasley was right." Isabel clarified. Harry nodded slowly. "And you were going to sit there and expect me to agree with that?"
"I didn't . . ."
"Well, good. Because, I don't!" Isabel leaned back and regarded him for a long stretch of silence. Harry wasn't sure what to say that wouldn't set her off, so he kept quiet. "Harry Potter, you need to rethink how you feel about both men. Try to remember what drew you to each of them and why it is so important that they get along."
"Isabel, Ron is my best friend." Harry argued.
"Then, you should have mated with him." She snarked his way. "Because, that is what most people say about their husband or wife."
"Well, I guess." He conceded.
"You guess?" she asked.
"I don't really know. I don't know many married people, other than the Weasleys and the Malfoys, that is."
"And who do you think Arthur Weasley would say was his best friend?"
"Molly, I guess."
"And Lucius Malfoy?" She continued.
"Mrs. Malfoy."
"Anyone else you can think of?" She gestured to him encouragingly.
Harry looked around, and then looked back. "I don't want to mate with Ron!" he rasped.
"Good." She responded in kind. "He has a wife. And you already have chosen other mates. So, treat them like it. This is about more than sex, Mr. Potter."
Harry felt the sting when she called him that and looked down at his plate. "I thought that a dominant . . ." But his words faded off.
"A dominant is mostly the larger, the protector and the impregnator, not the bully. This is what your father would have taught you. You need to learn so you can teach your children, or you'll have some seriously confused little creatures on your hands." Isabel smiled when he suddenly looked up, wild-eyed and speechless. "Forgot about them already?"
"No. I just figured that Malfoy . . ." he began.
"Not if you keep treating him like a submissive . . . subhuman, even. And I thought you said that Seamus, the twins and Luna were totally submissive. Who's gonna teach their children?"
"Not totally. The twin and Luna aren't leaders, but they might just go and do as they wish if not told not to. And I don't want to squelch that spirit in them."
"So, don't." Isabel sighed and changed the subject. "Hey, do you want to hear my gossip, or are you too much of a dominant for that?"
"Alright, I admit it. Gossip isn't just something girls like. What is your news?" Harry smirked at the superior look he was getting and Isabel leaned forward again. This time, he moved her cup away to keep her hair safe.
"Well, news is that there have been a lot of parents transferring their kids out of Durmstrang and Beauxbaton. That going to Hogwarts has become the In thing to do." here she paused for effect and Harry found himself leaning closer to hear. "I heard from a girl, whose sister still goes there, that your Veela sister's sisters are starting there."
"Fleur's sisters?" Harry was stunned. He leaned back and stared at the table. "That means, Draco's sisters, too."
"Yeah, I thought that might be the case," Isabel snarked.
Harry rolled his eyes and added. "I should call Lucius. If they are, maybe they might like to visit with their brother. They could come home with Luna."
"The best part, and bit you might want to have some fun with after you've made up with him that is, is that transfers get private sortings, and one sister, Amandrienne, was sorted into Slytherin, but the other, Gabrielle, was sorted into Ravenclaw, but rumor has it the hat wanted to put her into Gryffindor and she talked it out of it. Remind you of anyone?" When Isabel asked this question, Harry stared back silently. This was too good.
" . . . Twelve drops of Mermaid's Tears." Fred read as George stirred the cauldron. "A small piece of milderwood moss. About the size of a knut."
"We've got all of it, add them now." George said.
"Okay, but it says not to stop stirring. Clockwise at medium speed." Fred instructed and George nodded. The potion bubbled a deep burgundy color that changed to a light blue and started to thicken. "Now, George. We have to put it into the forms."
George stepped back and let Fred scoop out the thick blue paste. He poured it into four rectangular molds and George smoothed the tops with a muggle plastic spatula. "When they cool, we can unmold them and they're done?" he asked and Fred confirmed. "Okay, we're gonna do this, right?"
"We'll give him one more chance." Fred said. "Then, we use these. I'm not waiting another month. I'm ready, now."
"Me, too."
"How will we know if he uses the spell?" Fred asked.
"I found his book. There's a detection spell in the last chapter. I'll cast it, since I'm better at the wordless, wandless magic.
"And what will we see?"
"A pink glow around his cock, if he's using a blocking spell and a green sprinkling all over it if he's using the transference method."
"So, pink cock or green nuts. Our mate is lucky he's so cute or I'll be tempted to crack-up when I see this."
"Now, Fred. If we make him suspicious, we'll never get pregnant. Even with the potion cubes, he's still got to fuck us." George was stern, and Fred sobered up immediately.
"I know. I know. We're sexy, but laughin' at our mate won't be easy to overlook." Fred smirked and tilted his hips suggestively and his brother guffawed. "No way, we want to deprive our mate of this, but being in heat is quite miserable."
"Yeah," George said with a sigh.
"But these will solve the problem of a reluctant father." Fred held up one of the molds and popped out a bar of hardened potion. It had turned a deep blue as it cooled and looked like a blueberry soft chew.
George grinned broadly along with his brother.
Harry walked into the house to find it strangely silent. He passed the parlor where he usually found Blaise and Oliver playing chess at this time of the day. He continued on toward the stairs, where he was surprised by Winky, standing up several steps above the main floor.
"Master's mates are waiting for you in kitchen. There be tea for you." She said softly.
"Is Draco there?" He asked and she shook her head quickly. "Tell them I'll be down in a bit. I have something to do first."
"They said very important." She squeaked.
"I'm sure it is. I'll be down soon." He started up, passing her by without speaking again. He didn't stop until he reached Draco's door. "Drake, may I come in? Please?"
The hall was silent for several agonizing heartbeats, then the door opened and Draco stood in front of him. The aristocrat stood tall, his posture only compromised by the bulge at his belly and the red rims around his eyes. "Potter." he said with his familiar verbal sneer.
"I deserve that." Harry said. "May I come in? I've come to apologize." and Draco stepped back to allow him entrance.
Winky was still near the bottom of the stairs when Harry descended. She looked fretful and he stopped to take her hand. "Master Harry didn't upset Master Draco more? Mizzy be very worried because Master Draco is having babies. Winky is having babies, too."
"Yes, you are. Both of you. No, I didn't upset Draco. I'm going down to see my mates, now. I won't upset them, either." Harry placated.
"Them is already upset, but them not all having babies, so not so bad." Winky tried to smile and Harry laughed.
"Right. Well, I won't upset them, anyway. How's that sound?"
"Sounds good." Winky let his hand go and popped out, leaving Harry to walk down to the kitchen alone.
He arrived to find everyone, Draco excluded, sitting around the table, silently. He walked in, pulled out a chair and sat, looking from face to face. "I've just spoken with Draco . . .apologized to him for how I acted, I know most of you weren't there, and I hope I haven't treated any of you poorly, but I want to apologize to you all, anyway. I don't know how to be a dominant, other than the instinctual parts, so I hope you'll all correct me if I'm insufferable to you in the future. Draco has already promised to help me on that front."
It took a few moments for anyone to choose to speak, and even then Fred had to nudge Blaise, "Some of us were raised in houses where there was a definite dominant/submissive relationship. Others were not. We've discussed it and come to the conclusion that it won't work in our home. You could act just like Draco's father or my mum, or Seamus' dad, and it wouldn't be right for Seamus, the twins or Cedric. You can't be submissive, because it goes against your creature."
"We think that we'll have to make up the rules as we go along." Oliver added when Blaise paused.
"We don't mind you being dominant," Fred injected.
"But, we wouldn't want to see you become a bully, like Ollie said Ron's become." George put in.
"I don't like what Ron's doing, either." Harry told them. "It wasn't that I approved, it was that I was confused and Ron made it sound like he knew better what was what."
"Ronnikins? Try to remember who acted dominant in our home, Harry." George scoffed.
"Ron's trying to act as different to our dad as he can, so Eloise won't become like Mum." Fred added.
"It's a bad idea." they said in unison.
"He should try emulating his older brother instead," Draco said from the doorway. "Fleur tells me that Bill never treats her like the carpet Ronald is making of his wife. He's dominant, with care and love."
Harry flew to his feet and eased Draco into the chair he'd just vacated. He leaned down to kiss the crown of soft blond hair as he smoothed it back. "Do you want some tea?"
Before Draco could respond, Susan had grabbed a cup and Cedric was pouring it full. While Luna took the tongs and placed a single cube of sugar into it. "Just like you always take it. Lemon?" she asked.
Draco sighed and nodded, letting them fuss a bit before he admonished them. "I'm fine. No harm done."
Blaise scoffed. "The Slytherin Prince turning away doting admirers? Unheard of. Take your pampering like a good monarch. You were nearly explosive up there, so don't downplay it."
"By the way, Harry." Oliver touched the Chameleonis' arm. "Draco's babies are going to need a room and we're running out."
"I know. I thought we'd have more time, but I'm going to call the real estate wizard that Sirius mentioned. We'll be needing a bigger place." Harry moved to the only open chair and picked up a cup. He found it filled and a plate with two biscuits placed before him by the time he'd finished the move. Kreacher stood near looking smug and Susan was glaring at him.
The elf looked like he wanted to speak so Harry nodded to him. "Will Master Harry be performing the ritual to bind Winky before he moves?"
"Oh, Shite! I'd almost forgotten. When should we do it?" He looked around at his assembled harem.
"Before the babies, of course." Draco answered.
"Yes, that would be good." Oliver agreed. "If you wait, you'll have to bind her and the baby or risk losing it."
"I don't want to bind the baby!" Harry snapped.
"That's why you do it first. The baby is not bound, but born to your elf, so it belongs to the house until it's of age. Essentially, it belongs to Winky for seventeen years." Draco explained.
"Then what?" Harry asked.
"Usually, they are sold, but that's up to you. When the baby is seventeen, we'll figure it out." Blaise said. "I think it will want to be bound to us, or one of our children, by then."
"Like yours and Draco's elves?" Harry asked.
Blaise didn't speak about his elf very often, since his mother had not released it to the young man, so Harry was treading on unfamiliar territory. "Mother feels that Borell won't be needed here, since you have an elf. If we had a bigger house, with children around . . ."
"She's holding him until you are going to have a baby!" Fred snapped his fingers and Blaise looked away.
"Borell would come if I called him, but I won't defy Mother." Blaise growled out.
"But, was he the child of another elf in your house?" Harry asked.
"He was born when I was two months old. . . The mother passed a year later, so I never met her. His father was Klausen." Blaise said.
"Mizzy is the child of mother's elf from the Blacks, June, and my father's elf . . . Dobby."
Harry stared open mouthed for a second, and then his lips worked the name over and over. Draco looked into his cup until Harry jumped up and kissed his cheek so fast he nearly knocked the cup from his hand. "Mizzy is Dobby's!"
Suddenly, Mizzy popped in looking shocked by her own name being called. Harry grabbed her and swung her from the floor, hugging her as they spun around. "Mizzy! You are so wonderful!"
The elf was near panic by the time Draco shouted, "Potter, stop scaring my elf!"
Harry put her down and patted her head affectionately. "I'm sorry, Mizzy. I know your father."
"Mizzy knows that." the elf shuddered. "Dobby loves Harry Potter. Dobby made great sacrifice for him."
"Yes, he did." Harry said settling back on his chair. "He's my friend. I had no idea he had a child."
"Potter, Dobby has three children," Draco corrected him. "Mizzy is his oldest. My father still has her brother and the youngest is only fourteen."
"How marvelous!" Harry gushed and Mizzy looked to Draco with concern. "Don't worry. I'm just excited. So, how soon do we need to do this ritual?" Harry turned back to Kreacher who was scowling.
"Winky will not have baby for four months." the old elf growled.
"Then, we should do it right away?" Harry looked around.
"No, we should wait until we have settled into the house we'll be in permanently." Blaise said and Draco was too quiet. Harry looked at him.
"When you move, you'll have to repeat the ritual for each elf you bring. I'll have to with Mizzy and Blaise will with Borell, when he comes."
"Only for moves where the elf will need to be made part of the house. If you sold this place, without instilling Kreacher into the new, he'd go with the house. Even though he is your elf." Blaise added.
"Oh, so if we wait . . . then Winky will only need it once?" Harry looked at the two aristocrats, who nodded. "Good. Then, we need to find a home, soon." The Chameleonis leaned back and looked around. "Any suggestions of what we should look for?"
"Lots of rooms." George said.
"Wizard space." Cedric put in.
"Protection." Blaise added and the others agreed. "Fidelis charms are good, but we need more."
"Protection from the Ministry." Susan suggested.
"Yes!" Fred backed her up.
"So, that's most important?" Harry had a quill and a sheet of parchment before him and he began to write the list.
"Give that to me." Draco said pulling on his arm. "We'll need to be able to read it after."
"I can write it." Harry argued, half-heartedly.
"I've seen your writing. You stopped being legible after third year."
Harry passed the page over, smiling the whole time. Draco wrote out the harem's suggestions, as they were voiced and agreed upon, and soon the list was quite extensive. He rolled it up and handed it to Harry, who tied it and put it aside. "So, I'll contact Sirius and get the name of the wizard he suggested. Who is going with me to see the properties they have for us?"
In the end, it was decided that Blaise and Oliver should go, since Draco was having more difficulty getting around and they were more experienced with wizarding estates and their magical properties.
It was a bright Sunday, but Molly scowled as Bill led his fiancé into the floo and called out clearly, "Leaky Cauldron." The young couple disappeared and the Weasley matriarch glared at the empty fireplace.
Charlie was coming down the stairs and saw her expression before she could relax her features, "What's wrong, Mum?"
Flustered at being caught, Molly stuttered, "Oh, Charlie! I j-just, I'm just worried . . . worried about Bill's deciding to ask that girl to marry him. It was so sudden and we don't know anything about her, or her family."
"Mum, she's a nice girl, who loves Bill, and he loves her. What more do you need to know?" Charlie took her elbow and gently led her to the kitchen, sitting across from her at the table.
"Who are her parents? Who did she inherit her Veela from? How strong is it? Could she have lured him with her powers!" Molly spoke the last in a gasp and Charlie barely kept her seated with a hand on her arm.
"Mum, Bill isn't under the spell of Veela Allure. He told me that the Goblins asked him to put up special shields when she started there. Bill loves her and she loves him. As for her parents, we'll find out soon enough, since that's where they just went."
"What?" Molly gasped.
"They're having lunch with her parents and going shopping for her trousseaux and gown. But, what's important is that it won't change anything." Charlie took her hands that she had been wringing nervously. "They are in love and going to be married."
The door opened and Arthur stood there, looking concerned. "Molly-wobbles? What's wrong?" he asked but Charlie stood and spoke before his mother could rehash her concerns.
"We've been waiting for you, cause I have something important to talk to you about." he motioned his father over. "Sit down, okay? Mom, Dad, I think I've met my mate."
"Charlie!" Arthur cheered while Molly just stared at him. "That's fabulous. Right, Molly?"
"Your Mate? An interesting choice of terms, Charlie." Molly responded and Arthur looked her way. "Tell me about this Mate."
"Well, we met in Romania, but Chris is from Egypt and, after the article in the Prophet, we got to talking more and more." Charlie had returned to his seat and though he hedged in his description, his eyes shined.
"Chris?" Molly asked and Charlie smiled and nodded. "Tell me more about this Chris."
"Chris went to Mozambique for schooling, and was top of the graduating class." Charlie said.
"Ah, Mozambique." Molly replied. "and tell us more. What was Chris' best subject?"
"Transfigurations. They don't have NEWTs, but Chris got top marks." Charlie paused and stood up. "Okay, I think Mum's figured it out. Chris is Fae, Child of a Drow, like Kingsley."
"Charlie, you and a Drow. . . . " Arthur began.
"I know, Dad. We all know. A Drow could bear me a child, no - twin children, like Fred and George. Just the way that Fleur could for Bill, or Eloise for Ron. Percy and Penelope, too. We all know."
"What? You know nothing!" Molly snapped. "But, you ought to. So, determined you are to put yourselves in danger. Call your brothers, all of them, and bring them to this floo address." She produced a slip of paper and a quill that she set to the sheet immediately.
"Molly?" Arthur asked and Molly nodded. "Tell no one where you are going, Son. Don't go through public floo. Use Harry's if he'll allow it."
"Be there tomorrow at ten in the morning. We'll talk about your Chris more there." Molly stood with a tired sigh and went up the stairs.
Arthur watched her and then turned back to his second son. "Your Mother has lived with this fear for a long time. Understanding would be in order, Son." he rose and followed his wife, leaving Charlie alone.
The dragon tamer cleared the dishes from the table and put them into the sink, watching as the water filled and the brush and towel began to clean them, placing them into the strainer when they were finished. Charlie had always appreciated the ways that his mother had managed her home, adapting spells to make up for the family's lack of domestics, but Charlie was determined to give his family more.
He left the kitchen and went out to the yard, where his personal owl, Beauregard, was nesting in the rafters of his father's work shed. "Beaux? I'm gonna need you to deliver a few notes, okay?" he called and the large grey, greater Sooty owl, with a rounded face and attentive eyes, fluttered down to land near the unoccupied desk. Charlie began to compose his letters, one to Percy, one to Ron and one to Chris. He would fire-call Fred and George later, and talk to Bill, when he returned.
Beaux looked on curiously as he rolled the missives and tied them to the owl's talons, petting his pet and feeding him a treat. "Wait for a response, and find me, wherever I am." The bird lifted his head, to look at his master intently, then leapt into the air and flew through the open door.
Bill stood frozen as his fiancé rushed forward and into the arms of his family's longtime nemesis, Lucius Malfoy.
"Papa!" she cried. "Come and meet Bill." Then she pulled the man forward. Behind the blond aristocrat, a sophisticated woman stood regally watching his reaction. “William Weasley, this is mon pere, Lucius.”
“Malfoy.” Bill said, reaching out a hand to grasp the man’s in greeting.
“Weasley. I didn’t realize Fleur was engaged to a member of your family.”
“I didn’t realize she was one of yours.” Bill retorted.
"Oh, William. " Fleur sighed, "Grandmere was never married to Grandpere Abraxis. Papa allowed me to choose from her name or his when I went to Beauxbaton. DelaCoeur was more French." Fleur slid her arms through theirs and led them over to the table. The room was vacant, being one of the private dining areas that could be reserved on the Cauldron's main floor.
A table was laid out for a meal, four settings of bone china and crystal, and Narcissa waited as Lucius held her chair. Bill took Fleur's before the other man could slide his wife into place. The older woman finally spoke, "We understand you met Fleur at Gringott’s. What is you occupation there, Mr. Weasley?"
"I'm a curse breaker." Bill said simply, taking the spot across from her, next to his fiancé.
"Indeed?" Lucius said. "Have you been employed there long?"
"Eight years." Bill said. "Nearly since I graduated from Hogwarts. I did some apprenticing with Lorigans first."
"Lorigans? They only take three apprentices a year." Narcissa said.
"Yes. I know." Bill responded.
"You must have had impressive NEWTs."
"I did. I was head boy, as well. It seems like a silly thing to brag about, now."
"If it got you in with Lorigans, it is not."
"Bill is already their most trusted curse breaker. Thornnose told me so" Fleur injected.
"Is that so?" Narcissa said.
"Well . . .yes, I am." Bill admitted shyly.
"Very impressive." the woman added causing Lucius to bristle.
"Mr. Malfoy, I can provide for Fleur. With what I make at Gringott's and the cottage my grandfather left me in Dublin, we'll be very comfortable."
"Very comfortable? Now that you know of her parentage, can you promise to keep her in the manner that she is accustomed?" Lucius snapped, but a look from his wife and daughter stayed his temper. "I have no doubt that you can be quite happy with what you have, but I will not see my child suffer what will amount to poverty for her. I am prepared to supply her with a substantial dowry, two house elves and a property of her choice, though I suppose you will be involved in that decision."
"We don't need charity . . . "
"Charity! She is my child, Mr. Weasley! How is it that your inheritance is acceptable, but Fleur has to come into her marriage as a pauper?"
"Bill, please. You are overreacting." Fleur whispered into his ear as she placed a hand on his arm. "He promised me these things before I even met you."
Bill pulled back and looked at her, tilting his head for a better view. "Is that true?"
"Of course. Do you think I lie to you?"
"Why didn't you tell me before?"
"Would it have changed how you feel about me? Would you love me less because of my family or their money?"
"No! No, darling. I was just surprised. You could have warned me." Bill said.
"Oh, do not pout." Fleur pulled him closer and nuzzle his cheek with her pert nose. "It was meant as a surprise, so warning you would a have been, prodigue. Now, let us dine and get to know each other better, yes?"
"Anything for you, my Darling." Bill leaned forward and spoke to his future father-in-law. "Mr. Malfoy, why is it we never knew about your daughter, or Veela heritage?"
"Daughters, Mr. Weasley. I have three, at present." Lucius responded.
"Pooh! You sound like a couple of lawyers. You must call my father Lucius and Papa must call you Bill." Fleur injected.
Lucius drew a deep breath before he said. "Of course, mon petite Fleur. As a Veela, my children are always born as twins, but many Veela do not survive to adulthood. It is a curse of our nature. Fleur, Draco, Gabrielle and her twin Amandrienne are all the children that remain of our family."
"So, Fleur had a twin, and it . . died?" Bill asked.
"Yes, my love. My brothers Fiore and Louis, and my sister Aryetta. Also, Maurice had a brother, Lucien." Fleur's voice broke as she spoke and both men reached a hand to offer her support.
"So, you've had four sets of twins?" Bill turned and attempted to bring Narcissa into the conversation.
"I have only had four children, William." the woman said smiling lightly. "Draco, Lucienne, Gabrielle and Amandrienne."
"Only four?" Bill asked looking at Lucius.
"Yes, Weasley . . . Bill. Fleur and her twins were not Narcissa's children. I bore them and married her after their birth." he said.
"You were the . . . who is Fleur's other parent?"
"My other father is . . was, James Potter." Fleur supplied.
"James Potter? Harry's dad? But, how could he conceive a Veela child, er twins?" Bill looked from face to face.
"Your brothers are currently mated to my brother, Arry. Why would they choose him? What do you think the one line that could attract both a Veela and a pair of . . twins, like your brothers?"
"Like my . . . do you know what my brothers are?" Bill asked and Fleur nodded. Lucius and Narcissa gave no indication, but Bill assumed that they too knew. "There are only four breeds that could be of interest to them. One is Veela, which means that Fleur and I could possibly breed true, but Harry is not a Veela?"
"My son is also a mate of Harry Potter's." Narcissa spoke fondly of the connection and Bill paused to stare at her.
"Another is fae, like my sister-in-law, Eloise. But Veela would not mate with fairy breeds and Harry is no fae."
"Seamus Finnigan is a fae. He is a sprite and is also a mate of my brother's" Fleur added.
"Harry has four mates?" Bill's brow furrowed.
"Mr. Potter has currently collected eight mates, Bill." Lucius said.
"Eight? What is . . " Bill froze and looked around the table. "My brothers would be able to breed with a unicorn cross, like Penelope Clearwater, or they could mate with one other creature, but I had thought that was a myth."
"No myth Mr. Weasley . . .Bill." Lucius growled.
"The proof of the Potter heritage is here," Narcissa said with a gesture toward Fleur. "Harry is just as his father, in inheritance if not in disposition, and his children, like those of James, will be guaranteed to be born pure. Children your brothers may bear, just as the babies my son carries, will be perfect representations of their breed."
"And the other mates?" Bill leaned in.
"Dryad, Chimeara, Selkie and Sphynx. Draco tells me that there is an Aerie that has not graduated, as yet. Harry wishes to wait until after to claim her." Narcissa seemed infused with energy as she spoke and with a loving look that tugged at his heart.
"I haven't spoken with Harry, and the twins haven't been very generous with information. So, I had no idea things were so . . . amazing there."
"As they will be for us. Your heritage must be strong, for your parents to have born a pair of your kind. Our marriage may also create a powerful link. I would hope for many pairs of children, from both of our lines."
"I do, as well, my Love. But, this is not my reason to desire you." Bill's voice dropped and his eyes displayed his honesty and Fleur sighed.
"No more than I would expect."
"And now, about your home." Lucius injected. "With the possibility of your producing heirs to the Weasley line, I propose three elves and the summer house in Dorsett."
"Dorsett?" Bill floundered.
"You must see it to appreciate it, Bill." Narcissa stated as salads appeared before them. "Lovely. Caesar salad is my favorite."
Charlie took hold of both brothers by the arms and Fred dropped the floo powder as he called out, "Landing Cove." and the three disappeared. Harry watched with a frown and Cedric smirked.
"They'll be back. They come home every day. You worry too much." the sphynx said with a laugh.
"I need something to distract me, then." Harry whispered before sliding into his mate's arms and apparating them to Cedric's bedroom.
The Weasley brothers stepped out of the floo together, dusting off the soot that came with the poorly kept fireplace of the cottage they stood in. Bill and Ron were sitting on the couch and Percy paced near the wall. Molly hadn't arrived yet, but Arthur leaned against the sideboard and he looked pleased to see them all. "Your mum went to get Ginny from school. I'll bet they'll be here directly."
Even as he spoke, the floo flared and the two Weasley women stepped out. "Then, you're all here. Now, sit. Everyone sit." Molly spoke and the others found their places. "There are things you need to know before you proceed. I suspected Fred and George of their heritage from birth. I only carried one baby, so you won't know until birth if you have brought into life a true child of fire. The pain of birth is nothing compared to watching your child, an infant, split into two babies in front of your eyes."
"Sorry, Mum." George said.
"We didn't mean to hurt you." Fred added.
"Nonsense. I never said that. It was a miracle, but I didn't know it could happen before I saw it the first time. I want you all to be prepared. And tell your mates. It isn't right for a woman to have to go through that unprepared. Then, there is the fire. You must use caution with bedding, including the crib and the clothing you put on the babies. Everything must be fireproofed. Arthur has learned some wonderful spells, and some things adapted from Muggle fire-fighting equipment. We will do our best to aid you, but you'll need to know the spells that are safe for each age. One wrong spell, and you could put out your own child. And I mean permanently." Molly broke into tears and Arthur put his arm around her.
"Charlie, you were part of twins also. We didn't understand as much back then. Lancelot was more volatile than you were. We're sorry, son."
"Oh, god!" Charlie said with a shocked look. "I don't remember any of this."
"Me either, Little Brother." Bill said with an equally confused face.
"The shock of it happening, . . we think that he was drawn back into you. It isn't like you are separate, really." Molly tried to explain.
"Have you ever felt like stepping in two different directions at the same time?" Fred asked and Charlie looked his way. "It’s what Harry says about his changes."
"I think it's more like I've felt like that would be the scariest thing I could do." Charlie said.
"You're reacting to Lancelot's fear. If you tried, you could split. I know it." Arthur suggested. "Anyway, can you see our fears?"
"Mum, I think we know what you're worried about. But, if we know everything, then we can take precautions." Ron seemed eager and Molly glared at him.
"There are never enough precautions when something this devastating can happen. Why would you court this kind of disaster? Did spending time helping Harry make you as lacking in self-control?"
"Hey!" Fred snapped.
"Mum, that's too harsh!" George added.
"Yes, Molly. I think you are judging Harry too unfairly. He is the one person who is acting with caution, here. He told me that he wants to find a place where he can keep everyone safe."
"Yes, I know. Harry has grown up, but if it takes killing a dark lord, Ron's got no hope. We don't have one for him to slay."
"Maybe, he could kill a dragon, like the knights did." Ginny offered with a smirk.
"Don't be flippant, Missy. You carry this blood also. Are you planning on following your brothers in this foolishness?" Molly snapped at her.
"ME? I'm still in school. I don't think I'll ever have kids after all this. I'll just visit my nieces and nephews with fireproofing spells on my clothes and let them have all the fun." Ginny responded with a huff.
"Just wait until the most beautiful drow looks you in the eye and you swoon with love." Bill teased and Molly turned on the silent brother next to him.
"Speaking of Drows. Your brother has an announcement. Don't you, Charlie?"
"Oh, eh. Yeah. I met the man I want to make my mate. He's drow and related to Mozambique royalty. His name is Chris." he said and Bill reached out and wrapped his arm around Charlie's shoulder.
"Congrats, Brother. I'm pleased. We all want to meet him. Don't we?" he looked around and frowned. "Come on, it's a concern, but not a catastrophe. We are an ancient line. Lucius Malfoy says we are one of the oldest lines, next to Sphynx and Selkie. That's why we're so sought after. We may not be the only ones of our kind, but it is important to keep it going. Mom, Dad, tell them the good stuff. We got the message about how bad it could be. Please!"
"Molly, tell them." Arthur placed a kiss on her cheek and she smiled through her slowly falling tears.
"Phoenician babies are easier in other ways. They have each other, like a built in playmate. They eat well, never having problems with digestion or illnesses. I think it's the internal fire. You will need special potions, and I think we should ask a master brewer to make them. Snape. He made the ones for you two. But, as children of fire, you are bound to be very fertile. I suspect that you will all conceive within the first year, without contraception. We still use it."
"Mum!" Percy shouted from the end of the coffee table where he had been silent so far. "Too much, please."
"Percy, you've been very quiet. Tell us, son. Tell us what you are thinking." Arthur asked.
"I think I will have to leave the Ministry, if I bear a child like you're talking about. How can I risk it by being part of the organization that wants to capture and study it." Percy sighed.
"But, you can work for changes." Bill suggested.
"Yeah, be our inside man." Ron added.
"Dad still works there, has for most of our lives." Charlie continued.
"If you changed jobs, to the department of laws and ordinances. . " Fred suggested.
"And we could talk Cedric into working with you, instead of hindering you, all the time." George smirked and Percy looked surprised.
"Has he been doing that?"
"Cedric? What's this?" Ron asked.
"Cedric works for the Ministry, too. He's Harry's latest mate." Fred smiled.
"So, Harry is?" Bill asked and the twins smiled.
"Harry's what? I knew he started takin’ on some odd lovers." Ron asked and four of his older brothers looked at him with awe. "What?"
"Oh, Ronnikins." Charlie smiled.
"Harry's one in a million, Baby Brother." Bill offered.
"What is he?" Ron asked and Ginny tittered from near the floo.
"Ron, Harry is Chameleonis. He's not taking lovers, he's filling his harem. Did you seriously not get it?" She said and even Percy hissed for her to be quiet. "What? Mum said this is one of the safest houses that the Prewetts ever set up. No one will hear us here. That's why we're here. This is one place we could have come and shouted 'Voldemort' during the war."
"I wouldn't go that far, Ginny. But, it's safe to talk about the Potter line. Harry's father had seven mates before he married Lily Evans. Harry has a few siblings, and they all have perfect creature line display. He will give the two of you phoenix babies. So, you must be very cautious. Arthur told him what he'll need to do for his house and we'll help with cribs and baby things, but the rest of you have good chances of breeding, Charlie especially."
"You all have found mates that fall within the criteria for Phoenician breeding, so you have to be prepared. There are other things, but they aren't as tragic. Molly, we should tell them everything." Arthur said and Molly nodded.
"Okay, listen carefully, because none of this goes on parchment. It is too risky." and the group huddled together and she continued on with her instructions.
Harry cast his silent spell as he dropped his trousers and kicked off his shoes. The pinch of the spell had long since become familiar and even arousing. When he felt the double pinch of his Phoenicia transformation, it was an erotic supercharge.
The twins watched from each side of the room as Harry stripped out of his pants and stepped into his separate Phoenix selves. The pink glow of his contraceptive spell drew their eyes to watch as the turgid flesh split into two such pastel organs. George grinned and Gary tilted his head.
"Never watched them split before. Impressive." the twin said.
"Really?" Gary asked.
"I agree." Fred said as he slid his hands down Larry's sides and grabbed his ass cheeks.
"Well, it's impressive to begin with," George qualified.
"But, now it's twice as impressive." Fred countered.
"I'm . . " Larry began but was cut off by Fred's lips.
"Enough talk, Lover. Your impressive cock has us hot and that can be dangerous for our kind." George moved in close and the Chameleonis decided to take control of the situation back from his mates. As one, Gary and Larry hoisted the twins onto their hips, wrapping long ginger sprinkled thighs around their bodies and moving toward the two beds on the sides of the room.
They kissed their way up jaws and down chests, in the ways that George and Fred enjoyed. Larry sucked Fred's cock into his mouth as Gary flipped George over and laved his crack with a slow moving tongue. The Weasleys squirmed and begged, panted and gasped, groaned and screamed. By the time the Chameleonis breached his mates, the twins were incoherent and babbling, their skin drenched with perspiration and their eyes rolling back in their sockets.
Gary was near to orgasm, while Larry moved inside of Fred with hard, fast strokes. He felt his climax coming and it was better than he remembered. The sensations of his cock imbedded inside of Fred's arse were distinct and clear and his skin tingled when it held his mate. "Ah, Fred!" he cried as he came, hearing his other-self call out similarly to George, while feeling the numbing of his extremities and the familiar heat in his belly.
Just as each twin had different needs and wants, during sex, so the different parts of Harry, that were still Harry, had different reactions to sex, and both were personal and mind-blowing.
The twins lay sated beneath him and he rolled to the sides, sliding free and feeling the cool air hit his sticky organs. Realization hit him hard.
“What did you do?” Gary asked as Larry pushed to his feet and rushed over, reaching Fred’s bed just as Gary stood, so they could merge.
Fred smiled up as he rolled over onto his back and looked up at his mate. “We joined with our mate, Harry.”
Across the room, George had shifted up on the pillows and now lounged against the headboard with his arms folded behind his head and his ankles crossed. He seemed proudly aware of his nudity. “It’s what we wanted, Harry Luv. As sexy as you are, we needed more.”
“How? I used a spell.” Harry asked.
“And we used a potion. Counters the spell.” Fred said.
“Now, you have a choice, Mate. You can claim it was a decision we came to together, or we can admit to tricking you.” George suggested.
“And Seamus will be all over us for that potion.” Fred added.
“You’d give it to him?”
“We might.” George stated.
“Or we might not.”
“Depends, of course.”
“On what?” Harry began to negotiate, knowing how his twins worked.
“On how you decide to announce our impending births.” George explained.
“Oh, I doubt that will be a problem.” Harry said, taking Fred’s hand and pulling him to his feet. He drew him across the room onto George’s bed. There he kneeled over George’s left and Fred’s right thigh. He reached out and touched Fred’s cheek, twirling his fingers in the twin’s long ginger locks, “I planned on making you the parents of my second children. You’ve just rushed things. I suppose I should talk to Oliver before he gets his own idea.”
As the twins gaped, Harry leaned in and kissed them, one at a time, letting his pheromones flow liberally. About the time the two Weasleys were fully aroused, Harry jumped off the bed and grabbed his robe, slipping easily into it on his way to the door. “And now, I’ll just go and call the medi-witch, to determine if we were successful in this breeding.” he said as he waltzed out.
“Fred?” George said.
“Yeah?” Fred answered.
“How fast can you get a medi-witch?”
“Pretty fast, I think.”
“And how fast can you get rid of a hard-on?”
“Not fast enough, I think.”
“Me, neither.” George turned to his twin and winced as Fred looked back.
AN2: I'll have to devote some time to the other stories, and school starts again in Jan, so I probably won't get to this again, for a bit. Sorry.
