Rose and Hugo came running in to the manor home with their cheeks red, snow stuck to their hair and tracking water through the house. Ron and Lavender walked in behind them, the kids had been home for two days but had chosen to stay with their father and Lavender before coming to her house. They thought that they were giving her and Teddy some time but he was spending time with his grandmother thinking that he was giving her time with her kids. This resulted in some not needed time alone but the gesture of these acts made her heart flutter. Her book had hit the shelves the first of December and she was still on the top of the best sellers list. The book simply entitled ‘Inner Circle: Lucius Malfoys Story’ had sold a bunch of copies and she was happy to see that people had stopped treating him like a monster.
“Mom!” Rose said “Fourth year is amazing!” She was gushing “The classes are harder, more challenging and Quidditch is awesome and when Scorpius and I are against one another its so much fun”
“You don’t fight too bad do you?” Hermione asked brushing snow from her hair.
“Not at all” Rose assured her “And I still love him completely. When I win he buys my dinner and when he wins I buy him dinner and we always set aside one day a week to spend time together even if all we do is study”
“That’s great” Hermione kissed her cool forehead “Why don’t you bring your stuff to your room while Hugo tells me about first year so far”
“Okay mum” She happily ran out of the room and up the stairs.
“Mum” Hugo said excitedly “Quidditch is fun to watch though I wouldn’t want to be up there and DADA isn’t bad but I hate potions and transfigurations is really hard!”
“Just study hard and you will get it and I am sure that Rose will help you” She said hugging him.
“Mum” He looked at her “You really fought in the war, huh?” He didn’t wait for her to answer “I saw the statue outside of the great hall of you standing there with your wand pulled” He sighed “Everyone is real jealous that you’re not their mum and I read that book you wrote because it’s in the library though I didn’t get it until November because it’s a popular title. I’m sorry about all the friends you lost and the terrifying things you must have seen”
“It’s okay” She said, tears in her eyes as she looked at him as if seeing him for the first time and she pulled him in to her arms kissing him on the forehead “Thank you, sweetie”
Teddy walked in to the house then looking amazing and Hermione had to bite her lip to keep from launching herself at him. Finally, Hugo was done telling her everything about his experiences at Hogwarts and wandered off to find food. Hermione walked over the Teddy and pulled him against her kissing him deeply. It was all he could do to keep from turning her around and bending her over the side of the couch and taking her repeatedly but there would be plenty of time for that over the holiday. He looked at her as she ran off after Hugo who had come in to show her a dragon he had made from a model at school but unfortunately it flew off heading towards a window.
“How have you been?” He asked after they had rescued the dragon from the snow outside the window that threatened to weigh it down to the ground.
“I’m good” She answered “I’ve been planning the wedding and I think I’ve found my dress”
“Can I see it?” He asked.
“No” She said “You will when we get married” She kissed the tip of his nose “I also know I want it here and the colors I want along with how I want it decorated”
“And what should I do?” He asked.
“Get a tux, a best man and be waiting for me at the end of the aisle please” Hermione whispered before he kissed her deeply.

Rose had started a new diet now that she had proven to be a great Quidditch player. All her meals were high in protein and she awoke early to jog in the morning no matter the weather outside, when she got home she would do muggle yoga that she said she learned from a classmate. Hugo surprised her by immediately jumping in to his books to do his homework and make sure that it was perfect he even went as far as to ask Teddy for help and when Teddy was doing his own homework he asked Hermione or his sister.
“Mum” Hugo said from the open doorway leading in to the living room where Hermione had been laying on the couch with Teddy over her, his head by her chest and her nipple in his mouth while his the fingers on his left hand thrust quickly in and out of her wet heat making her moan, until she heard her son calling to her from the doorway.
“Hugo” She said pushing her breast back in to her tank top while Teddy pulled his hand out of her sleeper pants “Honey, you were supposed to be in bed two hours ago”
“I was in bed” He said “But I couldn’t sleep” He looked at his feet “Is it okay if I talk to you and Teddy?”
“Of course” Teddy said “Just give me a moment to get something to drink” Hugo sat down near Hermione and she pulled him closer to her.
“So what is it?” Teddy asked sitting on the other side of him.
“It’s two things really” He suddenly glared a little at Teddy “Some of my friends said that their parents said that you and my mum shouldn’t be together because you’re too young!” He looked at his hands “They say that mums robbing the cradle and I don’t like it...I think you’re causing problems” The last part of the conversation came out coldly.
“Hugo” Hermione said sharply “Don’t listen to what other people say. I love Teddy and he loves me and that is all that matters, doesn’t he treat you well?”
“Yes” Hugo said without hesitation.
“Doesn’t he talk with you” Hermione continued “Help you with your homework and listen to your problems no matter what it is?”
“Yes to all that” Hugo said.
“Then why are you mad at him?” She asked and Teddy looked sadly at him.
“I guess I just don’t understand why they say that” Hugo said “And it’s been bothering me”
“They say it because they don’t understand” Teddy said “But they don’t have to, I love your mother and I adore you and Rose”
“Is that all?” Hermione asked.
“No” He said “I know that you’ve noticed that I have been doing all my homework and my progress reports should tell you that I’ve been doing well with my schoolwork and there is a reason, more than just wanting to do well”
“And what reason would that be?” Hermione asked.
“The summer after my Second Year” He explained “If I take Care of Magical Creatures I have the opportunity to go to Romania to assist Dragon Trainers and I really want to!”
“No!” Hermione started but Teddy shook his head at her.
“Continue doing your homework and school and getting good grades” Teddy said “And I will talk your mother in to allowing you to go as long as you remain getting good grades before and after the trip”
“Thank you” He hugged Teddy and then Hermione before disappearing from the room.
“Elective’s aren’t taken until Third Year” Hermione said confused.
“They started allowing students to take electives in Second year when Rose entered hers” Teddy explained “I was going in to my sixth year if I remember right” He leaned over and kissed her deeply “You know, my old age and all”
