Logan sat back against the couch, sharing a wry, if amused smile with Fili and Kili. Beside him, Severus did something that was most unusual for him. He slid an arm around Logan's shoulder, pulling him close for a hug. Logan looked at him in surprise, then leaned into him as he returned his attention to the screen.
"I know, Dac. I love you, you know."
"We do, and we love you too. Severus, are they alright?"
"They're fine, Dad," he answered Roark Sr. with a small smile, "or they will be once we can really get things going here. Start moving against Riddle."
"We really are fine, Uncle Roark," Fili and Kili said together, "and we'll be even better once we have that filth Riddle in custody."
"But, just so you know, we miss you all like crazy." Kili went on. "For myself, I've never been away from home for this long, and I find I'm very homesick."
"The feeling is mutual, boys. Logan? The truth now, nephew. No hiding anymore. Will you be alright?"
"I'll be fine, Uncle Thorin, though admittedly, I wouldn't mind having a brother or two, perhaps a couple of cousins, here. I know it isn't possible, given how short-handed we are, but all the same, that's how I feel."
"Well now, that isn't entirely true," Alexei spoke up with a smile. "Desmond and I, as well as Jordan and Tyler, have just finished our current assignments."
"Lex?" came back at once, a look of hope surfacing in his eyes.
"We'll be on the next shuttle out," Desmond told them.
Roark and Harry sat forward at once, relieved smiles on their faces. "We'll be glad to have you."
"Trouble boys?" came the question as frowns appeared on several faces.
Snorts. "Where would you like us to begin?" Harry asked wryly. "And no," here he gave them a pout, "I haven't blown anything up. I've wanted to, but Severus won't let me."
"I should hope not. What happened to that drug den on Virgon wasn't sanctioned. We had to talk very fast to get you out of that mess. Thank Kobol for the fact they had unexploded grenades on the property, Hadrian James. We really didn't want to have to tell them it was your magic that had set the damn thing off in the first place because you were so bloody furious."
"Couldn't help it, Raph. Children. They were fucking using children as runners, punishing them for perceived errors by purposefully overdosing them on whatever was the drug of choice, and Kobol help them if they didn't meet their daily and nightly quotas."
"We know, Harry," came softly, knowing perfectly well just how much the Peverell Potter brothers hated ANY kind of abuse of children. "Now," Thorin sat forward, "start at the beginning. Lex, Des, go find Jordan and Tyler. Use our authority if you have to. I want the four of you on the next shuttle out. They can explain everything to you once you arrive."
"Will do, Uncle. Rory, Harry, Sev, boys, look for us to be there tomorrow morning. One of us will call you as soon as we get an arrival time."
"We'll be waiting on the tarmac for you, Lex. We'll use tomorrow to get the four of you settled and caught up to where we are at this moment. I'll order the team together for the following morning."
"Sounds good."

The call went out to the team members the next afternoon. They were to report to Aquarian Colonial Headquarters at six hundred hours, in conference room three. They all arrived early, standing in groups and talking quietly as they waited rather impatiently for the Peverell Potter brothers to arrive.
At six hundred hours, the door to the conference room slid open. Roark walked in first, a brand new, several-pocketed, dark brown leather satchel in hand. Coming in behind him was Harry, who was then followed by a rather grim-looking Severus, his midnight eyes looking around the room, prompting the team to move to the chairs set around the table.
He was then followed by Logan, Fili, and Kili, those three were, immediately followed by Alexei, Desmond, Jordan, and Tyler. They all saw the surprised, shocked expressions on more than a few faces as they realized they now had ten Counter-Intelligence Officers on Aquaria.
Ardyn got to his feet, his mouth opening to speak, but froze as Alexei shot him a silencing, stern look. Ardyn closed his mouth and sat back down, hazel eyes following them, his expression smoothing to nothing even though his mind was now racing about what this could mean.
"Good morning, everyone," Roark said as soon as he reached the head of the table. "I am quite sure you have all been told who we are, but let me introduce us anyway," he stood before the chair, laying the satchel on the table before him, Harry doing the same on his immediate right, though his satchel was black.
Fili moved to the place to Roark's left, Logan moved to the place beside Harry, Kili moved to stand beside Fili while Alexei and Desmond moved to places on Logan's other side. Severus moved to the other end of the table, taking the place directly opposite of Roark, Jordan, and Tyler each moving to the places on either side of him, each of them throwing smirks at the Peverell Potter brothers as the team responded to the intended seating arrangements by shifting nervously.
"I am Lt. Roark Peverell Potter, and to my right is Lt. Hadrian Peverell Potter, Colonial-Counter Intelligence. As you can see, and as was always intended, Captain Fili, Lt.'s Logan and Kili have been promoted to Counter-Intelligence. The other five Counter-Intelligence Officers are Healer Lt. Colonel Severus Prince Snape, Major Alexei, Captain Desmond, Colonel Jordan, and finally, Major Tyler Durin. They will, as of yesterday, be joining the team by order of Admiral Roark."
He looked slowly around the table. "As I am sure you have all heard the rumors, let me make this perfectly clear. THERE ARE NO RUMORS. As of two sectars {months} ago, this case was officially handed over to Counter-Intelligence. My orders...OUR orders, now come from Intelligence Command on Caprica."
The sound of a throat being cleared, clearly asking for permission to speak. Roark turned his head. "Major Alexei?"
"Thank you, Roark. Now it is my turn to make something very clear to all of you. This case was placed in the hands of Lt. Roark for a reason. We are here to support him, NOT take over. You will NOT report to, or come to us with any concerns you may have about this case, or the orders given to you unless you are otherwise ordered to do so. We are all well aware of how young Lt. Roark is, how young Lt. Hadrian is, but they have proven, beyond a shadow of a doubt that they can, and WILL do the jobs required of them. Not just as Colonial Warriors, but as Counter-Intelligence Officers. If you have a problem working for either of them, I suggest you speak up now."
"And what if we do?" came the growled question from someone near the middle of the table.
"Then," Harry began, his tone harsh as he looked at the man with calm emerald eyes, "you will be removed from this team Lt. Donnolly," he nearly smirked at the surprise that flared in the man's teal eyes, obviously surprised he had known his name. "We will soon be having more than enough trouble without having to deal with dissension on the team as well."
"So what, exactly, are our orders, Lt. Roark?" asked the man sitting two places from Tyler.
"Our orders, Lt. Connor, are to shut down Tom Riddle's organizational base of operation here on Aquaria and see him arrested and brought to justice.
"And just what, Lieutenant, makes you think we haven't been trying to do just that?" came the harsh snarl.
