Hey guys. I know it's been a while and I do apologize. The new Harry Potter game came out and I've been playing it almost none stop (level 14 if there is anyone out there that is playing as well). So this chapter is done and I have a couple more paragraphs to go for the next chapter so that one should be out next Sunday and hopefully I can get back on track. Nothing naughty going on for a couple chapters but you do get insight on Hermione's dream and a little more. As always leave reviews and let me know what you think.
Hermione awoke with a start. Someone near her was staring at her. When she looked around, she saw Daphne stretch on the opposite couch and sit up.
“Morning,” Daphne said. “What time did you come down here?”
“Umm…about four fifteen, I think. You?”
“Five thirty. I didn’t want to wake Ron so I came down here. You were, obviously, asleep.” Hermione nodded as she picked up her book and wand. Eight forty-five? Hermione could feel Daphne watching her. “Another bad dream?” Hermione simply nodded, not really wanting to talk about it. “I thought you said they stopped.”
Hermione sighed. “I haven’t had one since Draco started sleeping next to me, but with everything that has happened these last couple of days, I was bound to have one.”
“Morning!” Pansy said as she bounded down the stairs with Theo behind her. “You two are up early.”
“Bad dream,” Hermione mumbled.
“Got a letter from my parents.” Daphne said quietly.
As Pansy and Theo sat down, Ginny came down the stairs still in her jammies. “Pansy, has anyone told you how loud you are in the morning?”
“Theo has.” Pansy said smiling.
“Urg. Never mind.” Ginny sat down next to Hermione. “Bad dream again?” Ginny whispered.
Hermione nodded as Pansy asked Daphne, “Did I hear you correctly? You got a letter from your parents? You just saw them yesterday.”
“I know,” Daphne said looking at the letter. “They said that when they got home, Tori was gone. They checked the wards and found that someone arrived thirty minutes after they left. Two hours later, two people left. They found a note from Tori that said she needed to figure some things out. I don’t know where she would have gone or with who.”
“Did you parents report her missing?”
Hermione jumped and looked behind her. Near the portrait stood Draco, Harry, and Ron, all carrying trays.
“No,” Daphne answered as she walked over to him. “She said that she was safe and didn’t want anyone looking for her.”
“Well, Theo and I are going to get some breakfast since you three already have breakfast,” Pansy said smilng. She and Theo made their way to the portrait as Ginny and Hermione walked over to the kitchenette where Daphne stood with the boys.
Draco pulled out Hermione’s chair and sat down next to her. “Sleep good?” Draco asked.
“Not really, no,” Hermione answered, not looking up.
“Was it the same dream?” Ginny asked.
“No. same place, but different situation.”
“How so?” Draco asked.
Hermione took a bite of her eggs and looked up to see everyone looking at her. She sighed and told them about the dream. “When I broke loose, I tried to run to you, but there was a flash of green. That’s when I woke up.”
Everyone continued to stare. Ron and Ginny’s mouths were agape, Harry just starred, as well as Draco, but Daphne had a thoughtful look on her face. “I know you don’t believe in Divination, but this could be a sign,” she said as she continued to eat.
Hermione looked at her. “How can this be a sign? Lucius is locked away.” Hermione chanced a glance at Draco before continuing. He had resumed eating. “It’s just a stupid dream that starred the people like dislike me and my choice of who I want to be with. This dream isn’t going to change my mind about being with Draco. People just need to accept that we are together.” Hermione said in a huff. “Besides, Lucius was talking about marriage. Draco and I aren’t ready for that yet. I want to finish school and work for the Ministry. Draco wants to get his masters in Potions and prove to the rest of the world, like he has to us, that he is a thousand times better than his father.” Hermione continued to eat her breakfast for a few minutes before it dawned on her that she hadn’t discussed any of what she just said with Draco first. Hermione turned to him and in a quiet voice said, “Right?”
Draco smiled at her and gave her a sweet, sensational kiss. “Right. I want to give you the world first. Take you to Paris, Rome, Madagascar, anywhere you want to go. It’s hard to do that with crazy work schedules.” Hermine smiled and started kissing him again. Boy, did she miss him.
“If you guys are going to continue then go to a room because I am trying to eat here,” Ron said. Everyone laughed and finished their breakfast.

“So what are we going to do this afternoon?” Blaise asked as he and Draco walked out of the Great Hall.
“I am going to study.” Draco said.
“Study? You’ve been doing that all week.”
“Reading the same sentence over and over for hours doesn’t count as studying. Hermione and I are going to go over our notes from our classes on Thursday and Friday. Harry, Pansy and Theo are going to study with us, too.”
“Great. Sounds like an absolute blast.” Blaise said sarcastically.
Draco just chuckled. Minutes later they entered the common room to find it filled with tables.
“Everyone else wanted to study, as well as a few seventh years,” Hermione said walking over to them. “So we decided just to put some tables up in here so we didn’t have to whisper.”
“Okay,” Draco replied. “I’m going to start now though because I have plans tonight. I want to get as much done today as I can so I have less to do tomorrow and more time with you.”
“What plans do you have tonight?” Blaise asked. “I thought we were going to Hogsmeade.”
Draco, who hadn’t taken his eyes off Hermione, turned to Blaise and said, “When two people are in a relationship, they go on these things called dates.” Draco produced a bouquet of tulips from his wand and turned back to Hermione. “Would you be so kind as to join me this evening for a romantic date?”
Hermione took the flowers and nodded, smiling from ear to ear. After a quick kiss, she took his hand and led him to the table. Then she went to the kitchenette for a vase.
Thirty minutes later, Draco was neck deep in his Ancient Runes text. He reached into his bag to get more parchment, but when he pulled it out, he realized it was the one he enchanted all those weeks ago. He smiled to himself. So what if Hermione was sitting right next to him? She was buried in Potions. I wonder if she has hers with her. He decided to test the thought and wrote, Have I told you today that you are the most beautiful witch in the whole world and that I love you?
Draco set the parchment aside and grabbed a clean piece to continue his notes.
“Here are your notes Harry,” Hermione said. “Pansy, you said you had Herbology right?”
“Yes,” Pansy replied digging in her bag. “Here you go.”
“Thanks.” Hermione placed the notes in front of her. Out of the corner of his eye, Draco saw Hermione pause as she reached to get herself a clean parchment, then pulled out her half of the parchment. She looked at him and smiled before replying, No you haven’t, but thank you and I love you too.
Draco smiled and continued working. Slowly his took his left hand and placed it on her lower thigh. For the next hour and a half, he drew circles and slowly moved his hand up.
After sitting that long, everyone was starting to get a little antsy. Draco turned to Hermione. “What do you say love? Should we do some practical theory with everyone else?”
“Yes please. I haven’t sat this still for a while.” She leaned over and kissed him. “I’m going to change my shirt.”
Draco watched her go. She had still been in the same clothes she was wearing this morning, though Draco had noticed that she had put on a bra at some point. When she came back, she was in a skin tight workout shirt and a light jacket.
“So where are we going tonight?” Hermione asked as they made their way to an empty classroom.
“I’m not telling you, but put on something fancy.”
“Fancy like the ball?”
Draco laughed. “Not that fancy.”
“I’ll let you look through my stuff,” Ginny said from in front of her.
“Me, too,” came Pansy’s voice from behind.
The next two hours were spent remembering incantations for Charms and Defense Against the Dark Arts – for the seventh years – and identifying plants and their uses for Herbology. Once four o’clock hit, everyone went their separate ways. Most of the eighth years went back to their rooms to gather clothes for a shower.
Draco walked Hermione all the way to her room. He leaned in and gave her a kiss before saying, “Ginny is going to take you to the place for our date at six. I’ll see you then.”
“Okay,” Hermione said grinning. Draco kissed her hand and started down the stairs. “Hey Draco?”
Draco turned back to her. “Yes?”
“I love you.”
With a smile, Draco said, “I love you, too.”
LadyShire: LOL You will just have to wait and see who sent the letter. It'll be just a couple more chapters before that is revealed. Narcissa really wants to see them work out, not all because she can see how in love they are, but because she can genuinely see how good they are for each other. Sometimes an older persons opinion can help younger ones see things at a distance because they have been in the same shoes before, especially if they were in a similar situation at one point in time. I think I have the whole story figured out now, it's just a matter of writting it all out. Can't wait to hear your thoughts on this chapter.
Thunderbird: I have planted a lot of seeds, haven't I? I didn't think about that until you pointed it out. I do promise that everything with come together, but I'm not sure when just yet. At first, I thought about just having Draco go by himself, but I thought long and hard about it and figured that he couldn't do it with some help from Ron and Harry because they know Hermione's parents at least a little bit. Draco also knows that Hermione's parents know about Draco and how he always bullied her so going by himself would probably make things worse in the long run. Communication is key to every successful relationship but also the hardest to develop (know from personal experience). In the next chapter they start taking steps in the right direction again.
