Chapter 26: Inquisitive Guests

Harry and Remus were awoke the next morning by Dobby.

� Harry Potter sir, your friends are on their way to your room.�

� Damn.�

Remus jumped up, grabbed his clothes, gave Harry a quick kiss and
hurried
through the passageway door. Harry heard them banging on the door. He
threw on
a bathrobe and then waited a minute before answering the door. He threw
open
the door and glared at his friends.

�Good morning Harry,� said Hermione.

� Why were you pounding on my door,� asked Harry irritably.

� Your door was locked and you didn�t answer,� said Ron.

� Did you ever stop to think I did not answer because I was SLEEPING? �
Yelled
Harry.

� Sorry Harry. You are usually awake by now, � said Hermione. � Why was
your
door warded? �

�To keep you from just walking in.� � The wards are built in, only I
can open
the door.�

� Oh,� said Hermione. She seems to just realize how Harry was dressed.
� We
should leave so you can get dressed.�

Harry sighed; they obviously were not getting the hint. � Guys I know
you
probably missed me, I missed you too but I really wanted to sleep in
today. I
have been up early most days studying or training. This was the first
time I�ve
gotten to sleep-in in a while.�

� Sorry mate we didn�t know,� said Ron.

� That�s ok,� Harry rubbed at his face. � I�m up now. I need to shower;
I�ll be
down in a little while. I�ll meet you downstairs ok? �

� See you then,� said Ron. Ron and Hermione left to head downstairs.
Harry
started towards the bathroom when two arms wrapping around his waist
startled
him

� Bloody hell Remus you scared the life out of me. I didn�t hear I come
in.�

� I just stayed in the passageway, I figured you would get rid of them
and we
did not get to wake up properly.� He gave Harry a devouring kiss,
grinding his
hips against Harry�s.

� Care to join me in a shower?�

� I would love to,�said Remus.

The two kissed and groped their way to the bathroom. Harry started the
shower
with a flick of his wrist and shucked off his robe and boxers all
without
breaking the ravishing kisses between them. They stepped into the
shower and as
Remus started to kiss his way down Harry�s body Harry thought � I guess
they�re
going to have to wait a little � aahhh� longer.�

When Harry finally made his way downstairs (an hour later) Ron and
Hermione
were getting annoyed.

� What took you so long mate,� said Ron.

� I needed a long shower to wake up,� said Harry. � What do you what to
do
today? �

� I don�t know,� grumbled Ron.

� Great he wake me up to do nothing! � � You want to go flying? �

Ron perked up. � Sure. �

� Let me get some breakfast and then we can go,� said Harry. They
walked into
the breakfast room where Arthur, Molly and Ginny were already. As Harry
was
just filling a plate from the food table Remus entered the room. He and
Harry
exchanged a playful glance unnoticed by anyone but Ginny who filed it
away
until she could get Harry alone. After they finished breakfast Harry,
Ron and
Ginny went outside to ride their brooms, Ginny and Ron taking turns on
the
Firebolt. Hermione to noone�s surprise decided to spend the time in the
library. Remus and Molly spent the time relaxing in the gardens
watching the
others fly. Arthur had to go to work so Harry had keyed him into the
wards
before he left.

After lunch Harry and Ron were able to drag Hermione from the library
down to
the lake. Remus and Ginny joined them too. They swam and lay in the
sun, even
had a water fight or two. Ginny was biding her time for a chance to get
Harry
alone. Finally Ron and Hermione decided to take a walk and Remus had
gone
inside to talk to Molly about something. Ginny seized her chance.

� So tell me, � she said.

� Tell you what,� asked Harry coyly.

� Have you and Remus gotten together or what? �

Harry smiled broadly and Ginny gave a whoop in delight.

� Details please, � she said.

Harry laughed. � We got together right away after I got it through his
stubborn
head that we were meant for each other.�

� So have you, you know?�

� Ginny!�

� Come on I gave you the shove in the right direction the least you can
do is
spill it!�

Harry rolled his eyes. � Fine. Yes we are lovers, yes it is fabulous
and no I
not going into any more details.�

Ginny pouted then hugged Harry.

� I�m so happy for you. You deserve to be loved by someone who will
love you
for yourself and not as the the savior.�

� Thanks Ginny. I really am so happy. I have been sleeping through the
night,
no more nightmares. I don�t know if it is sleeping in his arms or that
I�m just
to shagged senseless to dream. I�m actually a little worried about what
will
happen once we go back to school.�

� What are you doing about it now that we are here?�

� Oh we have out ways,� Harry grinned mischieviously.

� So that why you dismissed (Hermione�s words) those two this morning
and took
an hour to shower,� Ginny said wiggling her eyebrows.

� Harry laughed. � What can I say I was a dirt boy and needed a
thorough cleaning,�
he smirked.

Ginny squealed in delight and Harry laughed.

� What�s got you two so happy,� asked Remus who had come up behind them.

Ginny launched herself at Remus and gave him a big hug and a kiss on
the cheek.
� Congratulations. It took you two long enough, I thought I was going
to have
to lock you two in a closet or something until you came to your senses.�

Remus looked at an amused Harry who mouthed, � She approves.� Remus
rolled his
eyes and hugged the girl back.

� Thank you for whatever kick-in-the-arse you gave Harry, it definitely
worked.�

Ginny sat back beaming at the two men.

� Ginny we have to keep this a secret ok,� said Harry.

� Why?�

�. Think what the public will do. Remus is just back teaching, this
will make
thing more difficult. Then there is Voldemort. Remus will be a target
as a way
to get to me.�

� I didn�t think of that. Howlers at breakfast time would be bad enough
but
actually being a target is very bad. Of course I�ll keep this a secret.�

They saw Ron and Hermione coming. � Are you going to keep it from them?�

Harry looked at Remus who shrugged. � At least for now. I love Ron like
a
brother but��

� But he is an opinionated, loud-mouth prat who may not take you being
gay let
alone involved with Remus well,� she said.

Remus laughed. � I�m glad it was you that said that.�

�I love him too but he can be a major git,� said Ginny.

The three stopped talking as Ron and Hermione came closer.

� Dinner will be in an hour,� said Remus loud enough for the other two
to hear.
� Maybe you should come in soon to get ready for it.�

� Thanks Remus we will,� said Harry. Remus got up and went back inside.
Harry
stretched flexing his arms.

� Harry when did you get that tattoo,� asked Hermione.

� Yesterday.�

� What�s it suppose to be,� asked Ron.

� Not a pawn Ron. Why in the world did you go and do that,� demanded
Hermione.

� It�s a reminder that I refuse to be manipulated again. I�m not going
to
blindly follow Dumbledore�s schemes anymore.�

� Dumbledore knows what�s best Harry. You really should get over this
problem
you have with him,� stated Hermione.

Harry glared at her. � This conversation ends now. You do not have any
idea of
the crap that man has pulled and I do not intend to justify my actions
to you.
Please drop it; I want to enjoy this week with the three of you not
fight. �

� Harry�s right. He invited us here to have fun and relax before school
starts.
Professor Dumbledore and the war have no place here,� said Ginny.

� Fine,� snapped Hermione. � Let�s go inside and get ready for dinner.�
With
that she turned around and stalked back to the house. Ron followed
(like the
good little whipped boyfriend he was) leaving Ginny and Harry to take
up the
rear.

� Ginny can you help me to have some alone time with Remus tonight? I
like
having all of you here but it was great having all that time to
ourselves
before.�

� Sure the three of us should be able to come up with some excuses for
the two
of you to be alone.�

� Thanks Ginny, your support is going to make this so much easier.�
They went
into the house, planning what to do next.
