Everyone turned their attention to the door as Hermione and Draco made their way back in. Hermione was laughing so hard she had tears running down her face, whereas Draco looked like he had just swallowed a sour lemon along with being extremely pissed off.
They all quieted down and waited until Hermione and Draco were seated.
"So.. What happened?" Ginny asked.
"Oh my goodness you guys I wish you were all there to see the look on McGonagall's face" Hermione said wiping tears away from her eyes.
"We want the details!" Seamus yelled, which ended up in an eruption of everyone else agreeing along with him.
After everyone quieted down, Blaise said "So Draco, what happened?"
"Well, let's just say that McGonagall is not a fan of ice cream, nor a fan of going on a date with a half naked Slytherin." Draco said slowly.
This caused Hermione to burst out into another set of giggles.
"He's not joking" Hermione said stifling her laughter. "When she opened the door to find Draco in his boxers holding a tub of ice cream, she looked like she had just seen a ghost. Her face went completely white and she could barely form a sentence at first until she composed herself. And then she said 'Mr. Malfoy, what are you doing standing outside of my dorm in the middle of the night in nothing but your boxers, holding a tub of ice cream?' And then Draco said 'Well, I was wondering if you would like to join me for some ice cream, say on the Astronomy Tower? The view is a lot more romantic"
Hermione burst into another set of giggles, along with everyone else present.
Draco grabbed his clothes off of the floor and proceeded to put them on grumpily.
One everyone had stopped laughing Ginny asked "What happened next?"
"Well, McGonagall nearly choked and died on the spot. Her eyes popped out of her head and she literally stood there staring at Draco with her mouth hanging open." Hermione said recalling the memory.
"And when she finally realized that Draco was being serious, she blushed and giggled and said I'm sorry Mr. Malfoy but student/teacher romance is prohibited within this school, and although I am flattered, I cannot join you for ice cream in the Astronomy Tower. However, I am sad to say that I have to give you one weeks detention for being out of bed past curfew, Head Boy or not, this does not give you the right to wander around the halls in the middle of the night on nights you are not required to patrol, especially half naked when there is a dress code in place here at this school."
Everyone burst out laughing hysterically.
Draco narrowed his eyes and growled menacingly.
"So that's it? That's all that happened?" Seamus asked.
Hermione and Draco exchanged a quick look, which both Ginny and Blaise saw, and said "Yeah, that's it."
"I still wish I was there to see the look of McGonagall's face. The story is hilarious in itself, but seeing the reactions first hand would have been priceless" Seamus said still smiling.
"Indeed it was" Hermione replied.
They played a few more rounds, in which everyone had to either tell the truth about something that embarrassed them, or had to do something that would embarrass them even further.
Hermione looked around at her friends and smiled, and was happy that everyone was getting along. She was even more happy that Draco was getting along with everyone, and that Harry and Ron still weren't trying to kill him. She had to give it to Draco, he was actually on pretty good behaviour, but she figured it had a lot to do with the amount of Gryffindors that were currently in their room, as he would be considerably outnumbered.
She let out a yawn, and felt her eyes start to close, and she leaned over onto Draco.
Draco stiffened immediately, as all eyes were on him.
Ginny sat there with an amused look on her face, as did Blaise. Ron however, was not pleased and Ginny could tell he was about to blow up and say something stupid, like he always does out of anger, so she intervened.
"Alright guys" Ginny said, "Looks like our Head Girl is falling asleep, which means it's time for all of us to start heading out!"
Everyone around the circle nodded their heads in agreement and started to get up and make their way towards the portrait hole.
Draco took this opportunity to look down at Hermione, who let out a quiet sigh in her sleep. He looked at how peaceful she was while sleeping, and realized that she was actually quite beautiful, even in sleep. Then she did something that made him smile, she quietly said his name in her sleep, and then cuddled herself closer to him. A stray piece of her hair fell into her face, and he gently tucked it back behind her ear. Then, remembering where he was he quickly looked up and was met by four pairs of eyes all staring at him. One, was extremely angry, the second was confused and looking at him intently, the third was amused, and the fourth was giving him a knowing look.
Ginny grabbed her brothers arm and dragged him into the hallway, and Harry slowly followed behind after shooting Draco another confused look, leaving Blaise alone with Draco and Hermione.
"You've got it bad mate" Blaise said smirking.
"I don't know what you're talking about" Draco said defensively.
"You do realize we were all still here and saw what you did just seconds ago.." Blaise stated.
"Can a guy not tuck a piece of hair behind a girls ear so she doesn't choke on it while she's sleeping?" Draco snapped.
"Honestly mate, when are you just going to admit that you have feelings for the girl. And why would you care if Hermione choked on a piece of hair? She is a Mudblood after all according to you" Blaise said.
Draco bit back his retort to defend her honour.
"Draco, it's okay to have feelings for her. I'm not going to be mad about it" Blaise said softly.
"I don't have feelings for her" Draco stated firmly.
"You're lying through your teeth and we both know it. You're good at hiding what you're truly feeling, but I know you better than anyone, we've been best mates for as long as I can remember, and I know when you're lying. I don't know why you can't just admit that you're in love with the girl who is currently cuddled up against you" Blaise said.
"Malfoy's don't love Blaise, you know that just as well as anyone" Draco stated angrily.
"If you still believe that, then you're dumber than I thought" Blaise said shaking his head as he walked out of the portrait hole.

"So what happened in there?' Ginny asked a Blaise walked into the hallway.
"I should have figured you'd be waiting for all of the juicy details" Blaise said with a smirk.
Ginny punched him playfully and said "Shove it Zabini"
Blaise rubbed his arm in the place that Ginny punched him. "Ouch, that hurt Weaselette."
"Oh come off of it you big baby, I can throw a way meaner swing. Don't tempt me" Ginny said with a dangerous glint in her eyes.
"I believe you" Zabini said amused. "Although, seeing you all riled up and feisty would be a sight worth seeing."
Ginny's face flushed red in embarrassment.
"You're cute when you blush you know" Blaise said studying Ginny intently.
"What happened in there when we left?" Ginny asked changing the subject.
Blaise smirked at her topic change. She was clearly not good at responding to compliments.
"Nothing really, I called Draco out on his feelings for Hermione, but he continues to try and ignore them and pretend he doesn't feel anything for her"
"And you believe he actually does?" Ginny asked.
"You've seen how much he's changed. You even saw what he did in the dorm room while everyone was still in there. It's like when he's with her he forgets about everything else, his main focus is on her. I've known for a long time that he has feelings for her, I'm just waiting for him to admit that I'm right" Blaise stated.
"Even if he has feelings for her, which I'm not denying he does because I think he doe too, do you really think he will be willing to openly express his feelings for Hermione? His family isn't exactly muggle lovers. And I'm sure they would not approve of their son falling for the one Muggleborn he was brought up to hate and resent. I'm just afraid for Hermione's sake that she's going to end up getting hurt because of Malfoy's pride and his rank amongst the PureBlood families" Ginny said.
"I know Draco hasn't exactly been the nicest person throughout the years here, and it's hard to believe that he can change, but I know he has. He started questioning the way he was brought up a few years ago, and started doing things for himself instead of following what his father set for him. Obviously he was conflicted because you always want to listen to and follow what your family wants for you, because you want your family to love you and be proud of you. But, he started being his own person, and I was there to help him along the way. Yes, I had a persona to uphold as being a Slytherin and that I was better than everyone else, but I didn't believe it. I never once agreed with what Draco's father, or my father for that matter, but sometimes you have to uphold certain appearances in order to keep yourself alive for the time being." Blaise stated.
"So are you saying that you don't believe in the dark side?" Ginny asked dumbfounded at Blaise's confession.
"Well let's just say that I have never supported nor agreed with what The Dark Lord believes is the greater good" Blaise stated honestly.
"Wow Zabini, there is a lot more to you then I ever would have imagined" Ginny said staring at him with a look of awe.
"Try not to fall for me now that you've seen my softer side" Blaise said winking at her.
Ginny just stared at Blaise, a million thoughts running through her head.
Blaise smirked watching Ginny stand there thinking everything over.
"You seem shocked?" Blaise asked observantly.
"You could say that" Ginny stated honestly.
"That's why the say you shouldn't judge a book by its cover" Blaise stated as he slowly moved towards Ginny.
"I'll remember that" Ginny said nervously as she backed up, until she hit a wall and could go no further.
Blaise took in Ginny's appearance and smirked. He could see from the look in her eyes that she was nervous.
"Nervous Weaselette?" He asked mockingly.
"Of you? Never" Ginny said as that wild spark flew into her eyes.
Blaise moved even closer, so that their bodies were now in contact with one another. He felt Ginny stiffen at his proximity and he took confidence in it. He looked down at her, and she was staring at him intently, refusing to back down.
"What about now?" Blaise asked as he pushed his body weight up against her, so she was now stuck against the wall.
"No" Ginny stated confidently.
Blaise lowered his head so that their lips were now inches apart.
"How about now" Blaise asked.
Ginny felt Blaise's breath hit her lips as he spoke, and it sent shivers down her spine.
"No" Ginny said, trying to keep her voice strong.
Blaise leaned in so his lips were lightly grazing hers as he spoke.
"And now?" Blaise asked seductively.
Ginny closed the distance between them, and kissed Blaise, who responded immediately. He pulled his weight off of her, wrapped his arms around her back, and pulled her towards him.
Ginny lifted her arms and wrapped them around the back of Blaise's neck, pushing herself up against him. She felt him run his tongue along her bottom lip and she opened her mouth and allowed him access.
They heard a loud meow beside them and they jumped apart.
"We need to get out of here!" Ginny exclaimed.
"Which way are you going?" Blaised asked.
"I'm going that way" Ginny said pointing to the right.
"Alright then I'm going left. See you later Weaselette" Blaise said as he leaned down and gave her a quick peck.
"Try not to get caught" Blaise said with a wink as he took off in the direction to the Slytherin common rooms.
