Dinner was a quiet affair. Hermione and Ginny sat as far away from Ron as they could while Harry ate without speaking to anyone. He spent the time composing himself the rest of the way. He could finish mourning Ron later. Right now, he had to get it together for his meeting with Dean and Seamus. He finished eating and waited for them outside the hall.
“Hey Harry!” Dean called. He was smiling, but there was a pinched look around his eyes. Seamus waved, worry etched all over his face.
“Hey guys. Follow me.” He led them to his room.
Once more Draco, Ginny, and Hermione were there, sitting in the same spots as the meeting with Ron.
“Take a seat guys. This first part is just formality and a form of protection against rumors. Go ahead Ginny.”
Ginny flipped open the book to a blank page.
“Today we speak with Dean Thomas and Seamus Finnegan. Attach notes.”

Alright you two, what did you want to talk about?” Harry sat back in his chair and watched them. They glanced between each other for a minute before Dean spoke.
“Are you really running a safe place for those who want to hide?”
Harry could see the fear and hope clashing on his face. He looked over at Seamus and saw the same emotions.
“Yes. Mrs. Weasley oversees it while I’m here in school.”
“So, you really are breaking away and making a third side in this War?” Seamus asked.
Harry could see the fear leaving their faces. It was being chased out by hope.
“Yes. There are no absolutes in life so why should children be forced to choose a side when they don’t agree with either? Dumbledore offers safety, but hasn’t delivered. I will.”
Dean and Seamus looked at each other, and smiled.
“I want my family to go there.” Dean stated.
“Same here.” Seamus was at the edge of his seat.
“Do note, you won’t even know where they are unless I take you to them. They will be hidden from the world, this includes owls, until it is safe again.” Harry said as seriously as he could. He wanted them to know that if they did this, they wouldn’t get to go home for the holidays. They wouldn’t be able to contact them at all for the entire year.
“We understand. We’d rather them be safe.” Seamus stated.
“Will you join me in this third option and fight for true equality in our world?” Harry asked.
“Yes.” Both boys said.
All three stood and did the alliance ceremony before sitting back down.
“Alright then. I will contact Remus. He will escort your families to safety. You two are to write them and let them know that he is coming to collect them. I won’t know and you won’t know exactly when that will be so tell them they must be ready to run at the drop of hat.”
Harry handed them a quill so they could write down their addresses. Dean and Seamus shook Harrys’ hand again and walked out. They had letters to write. Harry quickly penned a note to Remus attaching the addresses and sent it out with Hedwig.
“Looks like our haven is open for business.” Hermione said as she helped Ginny clean up.
“Looks like this war is finally hitting close to home. We need as much help as we can get, quickly.” Harry sighed.
“The word is spreading Harry. With Astoria’s’ act today, more families are going to start showing their true colors, at least the children are. Some will be coming to you in fear because their parents are pushing them to the Dark, some will come with ill intent, and some will come out of curiosity. These three are just the tip, it’s bound to pick up at some point.”
“Thank you, Draco, for that motivating speech. It’s so NOT what I wanted to hear right now.” Harry dead panned.
The girls chuckled as Draco rolled his eyes.
“Did you think it was going to be easy? You are offering something nobody considered and many are going to leap at the chance to get out of the shadows of their parent’s ideals. You are giving kids who, for some, are trapped by their families, a way out to make their own path.”
“Like I did for you?”
“Exactly. The world will look at those like me differently now because I am helping you. Because I decided not to follow either mad man. You have given me a chance at a proper future that isn’t colored by the choices of my father.”
“To be honest, I never even thought of it like that.” Harry sat back in his seat, thinking.
“The next few weeks are going to show us who stands with us and who stands against us. Not everyone who asks us for help is going to swear to you.” Hermione stated.
“I know. I don’t expect them too. I’m still going to ask and if they say they don’t want to do the ceremony, I’m not going to push it.” Harry smiled.
“You know, I think I should have spare rooms here for you guys. That way if meetings go late you, don’t have to worry about curfew.” Harry had no soon said it when they all heard the walls in the common room starting to move. When they went to look, they saw three new rooms on the second floor, a balcony connecting them to the stairs.
“There ya go.” Harry laughed. The girls we on the left side of the balcony and Draco’s room was to the right of Harry’s.
“Let turn in guys. We have busy days ahead of us.” Harry said. The teen all turned in, mentally preparing for the next few weeks.

Molly was thrilled! Remus had just told her that he was going to collect two families for the safe house some time that week. She was helping the elves prep rooms when she heard the bells go off at the front door. She ran down to see what was going on and saw Remus there with couple about her age.
“Welcome! You must be Mr. and Mrs. Finnegan!” She stated as she welcomed them in. She sat them down in the downstairs sitting room and had one of the elves bring them tea. She chatted with them and got them calmed down from their trip,
“I know it’s a bit jarring, but it is the best way to protect you from being attacked before we can get there.”
“We understand. Seamus warned us that it was going to be sudden. Is it true we won’t get to communicate with him the rest of the year?” Mrs. Finnegan asked.
“That is true. Too many owls flying this way will weaken the protective wards. Unless they know you are here, most will be turned away.” Molly replied as she refilled her cup.
Once everyone was finished with their tea, Molly showed them to the room they would be staying in.
“Another couple will be join us later this week as well. Before we know it, this place is going to be filled!” Molly said before wishing them a good night.
A few days later, the Thomas’ joined them. They were just as shock by the abruptness, but understood the reasons behind it. Molly couldn’t have been happier with how smooth things were going.
‘I need to get more help here. If things pick up Remus won’t be able to keep up.’ With that thought, Molly wrote a few letters to be sent out with Pock to a few trusted people. She wanted to see who would help and who would side with Albus. She was not disappointed. With a smile she wrote to Harry letting him know that they had a few more who wanted to help with the safe house.

I know it's been a few days since I last posted. I will try and post every Sunday through the semester and apologize now if I fail to keep that promise. I hope you all are enjoying and thank you for all the wonderful comments.
