“We need to try and come to a compromise about our terms to you stopping Voldemort before he can get the ingredients for his potion.” Harry said with a sigh, rubbing at his throbbing temples.
“I agree we are currently just going around the same ideas with no new ideas.” Ares, the God of war said, sipping from his chalice.
“My offer is that I will take care of this enemy of yours and you, in return, will stay here and give me an heir that shares the same magic you do.”
“I cannot stay here. I need to return to my home.”
“And therein lies the problem. We need to come to a compromise for those problems.”
“How about this. In return for you taking out Voldemort, I will remain here until I am pregnant and after that I will return to my own time and find you there.”
“Unacceptable because there is no knowing if I will still be around come your time.”
“There is no proof that any of you are around, but there is also no proof that you or any of the others are dead or just...hibernating.” Harry admitted, not willing to lie to the god. “But I offer this, I will try to find and help you and, if that is unsuccessful I will finish up my business there and then return here with the agreement and understanding that the child and I will be able to return to my time, at any time for visits with the intent of returning here.”
“I find that agreeable. If anything else comes up that we have not discussed we will discuss it and come to an agreement on those topics. Is that agreeable to you?”
Thinking for a second, Harry nodded and said, “Alright I agree to that.”
“Good. I will have a scroll drawn up with our agreement and we will both sign it once it is complete. After that I will take care of that problem of yours.”
