Last Time:
The absolutely furious unknown wizard wasn’t fazed by the fog and started blasting the Carrow twins with spells. They gave as much as they got and Alecto managed to blast the hood clean off the wizard’s cloak revealing an enraged Remus Lupin ...

Narcissa and Lucius felt panic slowly grow in their chests, “Peter went there … and Draco …”
Rabastan and Bellatrix both saw the witch sway slightly, “Don’t you start breaking down, Cissa.” Bellatrix said as she pushed Rabastan aside to get to her sister first and help her sit down before the mother collapsed. Lucius was leaning on the back of the couch so he wasn’t in immediate danger of hitting the floor. “Listen, Cissa, Lulu. You’re going to have easily a dozen young witches and wizards arriving soon and they’re all going to be freaking out. You’re both going to have to calm down.”
Lucius sighed shakily, “If this is a frame up I need to contact Gringotts and get them involved before accusations start flying.” He said before reluctantly leaving. As much as he wanted to help here and make sure his son was safe, he knew they’d be in more danger if Dumbledore got this frame up to stick.
“Yes.” Narcissa took a deep breath and tried to collect herself as Lucius went upstairs to his office. “Dobby, Flippy, Flopsy, get three beds and medical potions outside right now. I want everyone directed indoors the second they apparate up to the runes and for those who may be wounded … make sure they get treated instantly. Make the doors larger to help float the beds through if you have to. Just do whatever is needed.” She said wondering if the French doors would allow three beds to get through.
“Right away, Lady Black.” The elves bowed obediently and over the next few minutes the beds and other medical things, like potions and bandages, floated out the door. Just as the makeshift infirmary on the lawn was done several Slytherin students appeared on the edge of the runes.
Dobby gestured for everyone to hurry inside, “Everyone get inside and clear the way! We will have injured people coming through any second.” If the students weren’t scared and confused before then the thought of one of their own being in danger definitely horrified them.
“So Draco and Vincent haven’t been found yet …” Blaise said softly as the entire group entered the manor.
Narcissa refused to show anything but a calm smile, “Peter is after them. For now, let’s get you all settled in and some tea in you.” She said as she personally summoned some freshly brewed tea. The fact that the witch wasn’t ordering her elves to complete the minor task meant that the elves already had a task that was far more important than a tea kettle. Whatever was going on it was serious.
Theo stared at the hot liquid in the cup that was handed him, “What is going to happen to us?”
“Nothing if we can stop it.” Bellatrix said, but ‘if’ was the key word, wasn’t it? Every Slytherin knew it. So many things could go wrong. So many people were in danger …
A few minutes later everyone jumped at a sound from outside. Several of them moved to the windows hoping to see who it was in the nighttime darkness. Of course, they all wanted to see Draco and Vincent safe and sound, but instead they were met with a barrage of spells.
Bellatrix held her wand up ready for a fight, “All those good at dueling get ready everyone else get in the cellar!” She yelled almost hoping it was the ministry since she always wanted to get even after that raid years ago.
“Lucius!” Narcissa exclaimed with her wand ready. She was so terrified that Draco would apparate in the middle of this madness.
Lucius ran down the steps feeling a sense of Déjà vu and he looked up just as a stray spell flew beyond the wards and hit the doors making them rattle. There were three people fighting each other in the semi darkness and the house elves were protecting their infirmary set up. To everyone’s horror two more people on a broom apprated in the middle of it and they looked like Draco and Vincent ...

Harry suddenly pointed his wand at his own arm and a slight cutting spell to cut himself. He ignored Tom’s horrified gasp and blood dripping down his arm as he kneeled down, “ Vesta, make an illusion of me with these wounds running towards the edge of the runes.” The concerned fox nuzzled the wound getting blood in her fur. She didn’t like the idea of leaving her friend with such an injury, but she understood and created a copy of Harry.
Remus stopped his crazed rampage for a split second when he saw a bleeding Harry rush into the fog, “Harry!” He ran after what he thought was Harry, but was so focused on the Potter that he forgot about the others not far behind and didn’t realize he was being led towards the edge of the Hogwarts wards.
Tom ran to Alecto and Amycus, “Capture him.” Came the brisk order and just in time for fog to start going away as the fox drew father away. The twins nodded and followed the fog and the werewolf. “You ok, Harry?”
Harry twitched nervously when he saw an angry glint in those eyes. No doubt Tom was furious that he injured himself, “I had no choice.” He said and it was true. Without Vesta he had to make it believable for Dumbledore’s sake and the blood on Vesta helped trick the werewolf’s nose and effectively lead Remus away.
“Perhaps … let’s go. I’m sure there’ll be questions.” Tom, or Sam, said as he forced Harry to drape his arm across his shoulders to make it look like he was helping Harry walk.
“Cute.” Harry murmured as he spotted a light blush on Tom’s cheeks, but the teasing stopped when they returned to the path and noticed that the professors, Dumbledore included, were headed their way.
The subtle glances between Severus, Tom, Harry and Quirinus relayed enough for now. They only needed to know that the bodies were part of a trap. The rest will need more details from many other people in order to make sense of this mess …
The question that bothered Harry the most was where was the real Draco ...

One of Draco’s eyes was completely swollen shut from an acromantula hair, but he could see the blood gushing from Vincent’s skewered leg, “Move you bloody spider.” He hissed quietly praying his friend would be let go.
Unfortunately, the acromantula shifted slightly and actually twisted its leg. The very leg impaling Vincent’s leg. The young wizard’s scream was muffled by Draco who blindly felt around and covered his friend’s mouth. It seemed to take forever, but finally the giant spidery limb lifted straight up and out of the flesh.
‘I was sure prey was here.’ The acromantula growled never seeing the blood dripping from the sharp tip of his leg.
As the acromantula seemed to scuttle over to some other acromantulas Draco’s sense of relief was crushed, “Dear Merlin!” Draco felt sick at the gory sight of the gaping hole in Vincent’s leg, which was bleeding badly.
If something wasn’t done soon he’d bleed out. Draco tried to aim his wand to cast a small healing spell and stop the bleeding, but he could barely see. A sharp pain rendered both his eyes nearly useless now. There was a chance that if he missed it’d only attract more acromantulas.
“Let me.” Vincent hissed through clenched teeth as he grabbed Draco’s hand and aimed the wand.
Draco sounded very relieved as he cast the spell, “That should, at least, slow the bleeding down. Are there a lot of hairs in the wound?” Draco asked. He was too focused on the blood to notice how many acromantula hairs were in the wound. Considering the irritation and pain those hairs were inflicting on their eyes it was easy to understand why those things shouldn’t stay in an open wound for long.
“I can’t walk, but I’ll be fine for now.” Vincent said, not wanting Draco to stress himself over the hairs he couldn’t do anything about. Right now they had to find a way to get out of here. It was then he saw a small ray of hope in the form of a rat with a bag being dragged by its tail. “Peter-“ he instantly realized how stupid it was to yell right now.
“Is it my uncle?” Draco asked quietly but eagerly.
“Yeah, but he can’t see us.” Vincent said with a pained wince as he twisted his body to look for the closest acromantula. “Don’t risk yelling.” He hissed firmly and for good reason. Three acromantulas were only a few feet above them on the large trees.
They were stuck. Vincent was hopelessly watching Peter scurry around in a frantic attempt to find them. The urge to say or do something before their only hope got too fat away grew stronger, but they’d be killed almost instantly if they did.
However, like some sick twist of fate, Pete spotted droplets of blood. It was the trail of Vincent’s blood that dripped off the acromantula’s leg as it walked away. Vincent watched the rat investigate the blood and look up where the acromantula went. A chill of panic set in. Did Peter think they were up there?
Without any other idea Vincent snapped his wand in half. To his immense relief, the rat froze and spun around at the subtle sound. Immediately the rat followed the line of blood in the opposite direction and went towards where the cracking sound came from. Finally, the rat went through the unseen barrier and its tiny eyes widened in shock before taking its human form.
“Thank Merlin. We were so- shit.” Peter gasped as he finally started to take in the conditions of the two young wizards, who were both gesturing for him to be quiet. “First, let me bind your leg.” Peter said as he tore a piece of Vincent’s school robes. It was clear that a small healing spell was used, but the wound couldn’t stay uncovered so a quick spell made the piece of torn cloth wrap around the leg like a bandage. “Now … fuck. You can’t see at all, can you?” He asked Draco as he inspected the blonde wizard’s swollen face.
“I’ve been better.” Draco mumbled feverishly.
Peter quickly pulled the broom out of the bottomless bag, “you’ll be even better soon-“
“But the others!” Draco gasped before panicking slightly. They remained still for several moments. When none of the acromantulas seemed to notice they breathed a relieved sigh.
Vincent nodded as he eyed the beasts scuttling above them, “Yeah, we’ll need more than one broom.” He said as Peter helped him and Draco onto the broom.
“No. You guys were the targets. I made sure the first Slytherins were ok. Those guys aren’t related to Death Eaters.” Peter commented slightly distracted as he secured the two injured wizards to the broom.
“Oh. That’s good.” A relieved Draco said. “How do you plan to get through the webs? If you use any fire spell these acromantulas will just attack us.”
Peter smirked as he held the bottomless bag, “I have a plan to send them flying. You two just need to work together and the second you fly far enough away just apparate immediately … stay here and I’ll clear the way.”
Considering he was the only one who could see right now Vincent watched Peter and waited for the right moment to tell Draco to kick off. As his eyes followed the rat he started putting together what the strategy was, but if he was right then Peter really was nuts. That or he didn’t care if he’d make it out. The reason was simple …
The tiny rat, too small for such large acromantulas to even look at as a decent sized crumb, leapt around from tree to tree. Peter seemed to choose a path that went around a large patch of webs that blocked the sky. At each tree the rat reached into the bottomless bag and pulled out a vial. Each vial was shaken violently and attached to the webs on the edge of the patch.
“Get ready, Draco. This is going to be an insane flight.” Vincent said as he noticed the vials turn a fizzy pink color and he knew of only one potion that did that. One highly explosive potion.
It was a simple plan. Set off an explosive potion in the center to burn an opening for an escape and to push the acromantulas back. Then follow it up with the potion’s on the edge to blast the acromantulas even further back. There was a drawback and it became clear when he saw the rat break a thread and swing on it to the center.
Vincent realized that if this was going to work then Peter had to make the first explosive potion go off, but the tiny rat would most likely disappear in the fire and smoke or get thrown a great distance by the force. In short, there was nothing they could do to save Peter once this happened and the rat seemed to know this. The rat pulled the final vial out of the bottomless bag.
Peter seemed to look at Vincent as he shook the final vial. As the potion fizzed Vincent tensed. The rat opened the vial and the fizzy potion met the air…
“Now!” Vincent yelled over the blast and flares of heat and smoke. Mere seconds after Draco kicked off the other potions exploded too. The shock wave sent them straight up and violently forced them through the very opening where the webs were burned away.
“Vincent … my uncle … where is he?” Draco asked as Vincent raced the broom as fast as it could go..
After taking a deep breath Vincent glanced over his shoulder, but as expected he saw only fire and smoke, “He’s tough … I’m sure he’ll be ok.” He said, trying to reassure his friend.
Despite not liking the answer and wanting to know Peter was ok Draco knew they weren’t in any condition to help, “Yeah … we’re through!” Draco exclaimed right before apparating them.
It was nighttime, but Vincent recognized the Malfoy manor, “Oh shit-“ he screamed as a curse zipped out of the darkness and destroyed the broom they were on. To the wizards’ relief they landed on soft beds and they heard Dobby near them.
“Dobby won’t let him hurt you, master Draco!” Both wizards twitched at the power that the house elf emitted before blasting someone away from them. Despite that hit the battle still seemed to continue! In fact, Draco could hear someone trying to break the door of the manor down ...

“Are you sure about this, Lucius?” Narcissa asked as the intruder started bashing the manor doors.
Lucius looked out of the window and smiled as he saw the house elves floating two of the beds safely towards the upstair windows, “Yes. We must keep him in the wards and even trap him inside. We can’t risk another stray spell hitting Draco or Vincent until they’re safe.”
Bellatrix smirked, “Let the Bastard in. I’ll handle him.” She said itching to beat this guy to bloody chunks. The doors flew open and the intruder was blasted in. “Damn. You two can’t handle one guy?” Bellatrix gaped as she saw an exhausted pair of Carrow twins standing there.
“Werewolves … are tougher … the day before … full moon.” Alecto and Amycus panted.
Rabastan’ s eyes widened, “Werewolf?!” He looked at the furious intruder and immediately got an idea. “Dobby! Bring our guest here!” The elf barely skipped a beat. Dobby basically dropped Sirius, who was now in his human form, right in the living room before leaving to protect the injured wizards. “I hope this works.”
Sirius beamed the second he saw Remus, “Remmy! I missed you!” He was so happy that didn’t see the wand move until his arm was sliced open by a curse. “Remmy-“
“Shut up!” Remus snapped confusing the poor bleeding wizard. “Albus told me Sirius was dead and that you people killed him after he tried to save Harry. I won’t fall for your tricks!”
“Albus told you I was dead …” Sirius murmured in disbelief as his friend prepared to attack him again ...
