CHAPTER THREE
Albus glanced over at his Potions Professor in concern. He frowned slightly as he watched the man glare at the students. Severus ignored Remus as he tried to talk to him. Albus shook his head and wondered if they would ever get over what happened before Harry left. With a sigh, Albus leaned back in his chair and thought back to the last ten months. Since Harry graduated, Severus's temper had been more virulent. Where he was once tolerant to some degree, he was now colder, more closed off, if that was even possible. He rarely talked to anyone, and heaven forbid if one of his students pissed him off. The students were still talking about the fourth year Hufflepuff who had to be sedated because Severus had laid into her.
And Remus, well Remus was even more quiet than before. His gaze was always sad and he looked a little lost. He tried hard to temper Severus, but sometime he just didn't seem like he cared enough. Albus chewed his lip and wondered how Harry was. They had exchanged owls several times and he knew where Harry lived, but things were still a little strained between the two of them. Albus would always regret what happened that night. He had been so sure that he was helping, but instead he just made three people even more miserable than before.
"Would you leave me the hell alone, Lupin!" Severus snarled out. Albus looked up in surprise and watched as Severus glared at his partner.
"Severus, I was just trying to help," Remus said calmly.
"I didn't ask for your help. If I want to sit here and brood, I will. I don't need you to hold my hand and force me to talk. So just leave me alone. You're not my mother!" Severus said coldly.
"Severus, please calm down," Remus said as he laid his hand on the man's arm.
Severus shrugged it off and glared it Remus. "Listen werewolf, I told you to leave me alone," Severus began but stopped when Remus growled at him.
"I have tried to be calm, I have tried to be understanding, I have tried to be there for you, but I'm always getting shot down. If you want me to leave, just say so and I'll be gone. Because at the rate you're going, I'll be leaving soon as it is. I can't take much more of your behavior. It wasn't my fault!" Remus yelled out.
Albus stood up from the Headtable and looked over at the two Professors. "Professors Snape and Lupin, if you would please follow me. I would like to talk to you in my office," he said sternly, his eyes serious.
Severus and Remus glared at each other one more time and stood up from the table. They stomped out of the Great Hall and the Headmaster followed, leaving the whispers of the Great Hall behind him. They made their way up to the Headmaster's office. Once there, the Headmaster sat down behind the desk and stared at the two men sitting before him.
"Gentlemen, I have tried to be patient, but I'm afraid that when my teachers begin yelling at each other in front of the students, I must interfere. I don't know what is going on between the two of you, but you need to resolve it or keep it private," Dumbledore said sternly.
Remus looked ashamed while Severus glared at him. "I'm sorry, Headmaster," Remus said softly. "You're right, we should keep our problems private. This might be a bad time to bring it up, but I think you might be needing to find yourself another DADA Professor."
Severus whipped around to stare at Remus in shock. Remus was looking down at his hands sadly and didn't see the expression on Severus's face. "What do you mean a new Professor? Where the hell are you going?" Severus growled out.
Remus shrugged and said, "I think it's time for me to leave. Its obvious that you would prefer that I be as far away from you as possible. So I'm doing you a favor and leaving."
"Where in the hell do you get that idea?" Severus asked in disbelief.
Remus looked at him and glared. "How about the fact that no matter what I do, you yell at me for it? I haven't heard a kind word from you since Harry left. I'm being ignored, belittled or blamed for all your problems. When was the last time we made love?" Remus asked coldly.
"Last night," Severus said trimphant.
"No, Severus. Made love, not have sex. There's no feeling between us anymore. I feel like I'm being used. I don't even think you know who is in your bed anymore. Did you actually look at me at all last night, or did you just push it in and do your business, falling asleep when it was over?" Remus asked. Pain was shining from his eyes as he talked and Severus looked ashamed. "It's not my fault, Severus, but I feel like you're blaming me. I didn't make him leave. I'm still here, but yet I'm fighting a memory and I don't think I can win."
Severus looked away. "Are you saying that you don't think of him?" Severus asked.
"No, that's not what I'm saying. I miss him so much, but I'm not living my life as if it's over. He's not dead, Severus. Just gone," Remus said softly.
They were quiet and Albus heaved a silent sigh of relief as they worked out their problems. He had a feeling that this had been about Harry and he was right. He was a tad confused though, as he realized that the two men acutally missed Harry. Could Harry be wrong? Could they acutally want Harry around?
"Gentlemen, may I ask you a personal question?" Dumbledore asked.
Remus and Severus started as they suddenly remembered that Dumbledore was still in the room with them. They blushed when they realized that Dumbledore had heard their previous conversation. Dumbledore smiled gently and waved his hand. "There is nothing to be embarrased about. I'm just glad that you are working it out. I would hate to lose one of my Professors. Now, about my question," Dumbledore said.
"Um…sure. What is it?" Remus asked.
"Your problems seem to have started around the last Graduation. Am I assuming that this had something to do with Mr. Potter?" Dumbledore asked gently.
Severus and Remus looked at him in surprise. "How did you know it was about Harry?" Remus asked.
"I'll get to that in a moment. I had assumed that you two regretted that night. From what I was told, you wouldn't even talk to Harry the next day. Why would you be upset over something that was a mistake?" Dumbledore asked.
"A mistake? Where in the hell did you get that idea?" Severus asked in surprise.
"Why from Mr. Potter, of course," Dumbledore said, a slight frown on his face.
"So, Harry did think it was a mistake then," Remus said softly, pain shining from his eyes.
Dumbledore shook his head and said, "Oh no, Harry seems to think that you thought it was a mistake. He seems to think that you two were giving him, oh what was it he called it…oh yes…a pity fuck," Dumbledore said with a slight blush.
"WHAT?!" Severus roared out. "Where in the hell did he get that idea?"
Dumbledore shrugged and said, "I can't begin to guess what was going through Harry's mind at the time, but I'm afraid there is a little more to it than that. I'm sad to say that I caused a few problems myself. I was trying to help you three, but I'm afraid I made it worse. Or at least I thought I had." Dumbledore sighed heavily. "That's what I get for listening to young Harry. I should have gone straight to you two."
"What did you do, Headmaster? How did you interfere this time?" Severus asked coldy as he glared at Dumbledore.
Dumbledore shifted uneasily and replied, "I decided that I wanted to help you three get together. I noticed the looks between the three of you. I also realized the real reason that Harry was so depressed during his last year. So, I took it upon myself to call on the help of a house-elf and I slipped a potion in your drinks. I then set you up to meet in a room and let nature take its course. I figured once you were all together, you would talk it out and get together. It seemed to go well enough, the only problem was that I didn't count on Harry leaving quite so early and he overheard a conversation that I had with the house-elf. Once he knew that I slipped all of you a potion, he was sure that it could've been anyone in the room that night and you two would've reacted the same."
Remus and Severus sat there in shock for moment. Severus took a deep breath and hissed out, "What was in the potion?"
Dumbledore cleared his throat and answered nervously, "It was a slow acting aphrodisiac with a very mild truth serum mixed in with it."
"You gave us an aphrodisiac and then Harry found out? Merlin, no wonder he left. He just thought it was the potion. You manipulative bastard!" Severus yelled out. "What gave you the right to interfere like that?"
Dumbledore looked at them sadly. "I thought I was helping. I just wanted you three to be happy together. I knew what those looks meant, but you weren't doing anything about it. I just thought I would give you a nudge in the right direction."
"Well, it looks like you misjuded that. You didn't nudge us in the right direction, did you? It was more like being thrown off a tall building with no safety net. We thought he was ashamed of what had happened. He left early that morning and we couldn't find him anywhere. Once we did, we couldn't confront him because there were students around." Remus placed his head in hands. "Merlin, I bet Harry thought we were the ones who were ashamed. We didn't talk to him, Severus. We didn't let him know that everything was ok. We thought we had more time. And once he knew about the potion, he must of felt like he had no choice but to leave. This was all just a huge of misunderstanding," Remus said softly. "The pain he must've felt. I bet he felt used."
Severus reached over and grabbed Remus's hand. He squeezed it gently. "Things should've gone differently, but they didn't. Now we need to find our Harry and bring him home. We need to let him know that we didn't regret anything that happened that night. We need to let him know that we love him," Severus said softly. "We are incomplete without him."
Remus sniffed and smiled at Severus. Remus could see the hope that was shining in the other man's eyes. Severus had taken Harry's apparent abandonment hard. Severus had fallen in love with Harry while they had trained together, but he didn't think he had a chance with Harry. When Remus approached Severus to let him know of his own love for him, Severus had jumped at the chance. It was fortunate that Severus had feelings for Remus as well, but he was still in love with Harry. When Severus found out that Remus also had feelings for Harry, they had talked about approaching Harry. Then Harry had withdrawn from everyone. He stopped talking to them and bascially threw them out of his life. They had been shocked and stunned, unable to understand what had happpened. When Remus finally realized that Harry had feelings for them, he had been ecstatic. When Harry had left Hogwarts without letting them know, Remus had been devestated.
Now, they had a chance. A chance to have Harry back in their lives, if only they could find the missing man. None of his friends knew where he was. Harry had only left them a note with a brief explaniation. There was no address to where he could be reached. Remus wouldn't let that deter him though. He would find Harry if it was the last thing he did. Severus and Remus needed Harry.
Dumbledore looked at them kindly. "So, are you going to find Harry then?" he asked.
Severus nodded firmly. "Yes, we're going to find him. This is his home and this is where he needs to be," Severus said adamantly.
Dumbledore nodded in understanding. "That's good then. I can help you with that," he said with a grin.
Remus looked at him in confusion. "Huh?" he asked.
Severus eyes filled with hope and he asked, "You know where Harry is, don't you?"
Dumbledore's eyes were twinkling merrily and he replied, "I do indeed. He owled me several months ago with his location. He told me to keep it a secret, but I think that he wouldn't mind if you two knew. He lives outside of Oban, Scotland. Go, bring the boy home." Dumbledore slid a piece of paper across his desk and Severus picked it up. It was Harry's address. Looking at Dumbledore in gratitude, Severus stood up and looked over at Remus impatiently.
"Well, come on. Let's go get him," he said.
Remus grinned and stood up. He looked over at Dumbledore with grateful eyes and said, "Thank you."
"You're welcome, my boy," Dumbledore saidy cheerfully.
Dumbledore smiled as they practically bounced out of the room. He could hear them talking to someone, but he couldn't tell who it was. The door to his office opened and Poppy walked into the room.
"Where are they off to? They are more excited today than I've seen them in months," Poppy said as she sat down in front of the Headmaster.
Dumbledore grinned and said, "They are off to bring someone home."
Poppy looked at him in surprise. "Who would that be?" she asked curiously.
"Harry," Dumbledore said smugly.
Poppy froze in surprise. "You know where Harry is?" she asked cautiously.
Dumbledore nodded and said, "I've known for a while. I just haven't talked to him much. We didn't exactly part on good terms."
Poppy sat back and smiled smugly. "Well, they're going to be in for a surprise," she said.
Dumbledore looked at her in surprise. "What do you mean by that?" he asked.
"Let's just say that they have a couple of people they'll have to compete with," she said smugly and left it at that, no matter how much the Headmaster tried to get it out of her.
Harry stretched lazily as he woke up. He sighed as he realized the bedroom was silent. Sam had come over and taken the babies for the day. Harry was glad that he had Sam in his life. Harry didn't think he could've handled having both of his children right now. He loved them to death, but it was hard work taking care of the twins. He had barely gotten any sleep for the last two months. Yawning widely, Harry got out of bed, patted Maverick on the head and shuffled out of the bedroom. He glanced down at his dog and grinned at the excitable animal.
Maverick had taken to the children exceptionally well. He had become quite protective of them, and he would barely leave their sides except to go outside for his daily exercise. Hedwig also enjoyed being around the children, and even at two months of age, they enjoyed having the animals around.
Harry opened the back door so that Maverick could go outside. Shuffling back into the kitchen, he warmed up some water for his morning tea. He walked over to the fridge and got out the eggs. Laying them down on the counter, he grabbed his teacup and his tin of loose tealeaves and made himself a cup. He leaned against the counter and looked out his window absently, sipping his hot tea. He felt somewhat lost without the children around. He looked at the eggs sitting on his counter and decided that he wasn't hungry yet. Putting the eggs back into the fridge, he went over to his couch, grabbed a book and began to read.
A couple of hours later he heard Maverick barking. Looking up in alarm, he got up from the couch and walked over to the front door. Maverick only barked when there were strangers on his property. Even though Voldemort was dead, there were still a few Death Eaters who would like nothing more than to kill Harry. Making sure that his wand was still in its hidden holster, he opened the door and looked out.
He froze in shock as he recognized the two men who were standing in his front yard. Maverick had kept them from trying to reach the house and Harry wondered if maybe he could shut the door and pretend that they weren't there. He wondered how they knew where he was. Oh god, did they know about the babies? Were they here to take his children away? No, he trusted Poppy not to tell them about the twins. So if that wasn't it, why were they here?
Biting his lip in indecision, he sighed and made up his mind to talk to them. If not, they might come back when the twins were actually here. Harry stepped out onto his porch and whistled. "Maverick, let 'em go," he called out. Maverick stopped barking and ran back to Harry. Harry bent down and petted him. "Good boy," he said. "Go play. I'll be fine." Maverick gave him a whine, licked his hand, and ran off to play on the beach.
Harry straightened and looked at the two men standing before him. It had been ten months since he had last seen them. They both looked tired and drawn. There were dark circles under their eyes and Harry thought he could see some white hairs throughout Severus's hair. Of course, that could be the sun. They both looked skinny and there were few more wrinkles around Remus's eyes.
"What are you doing here?" Harry asked flatly.
"Harry," Remus breathed out. His eyes were looking at him intently, taking in the man he hadn't seen in months.
"Yes, that's me. What I want to know is what are you doing here, and how did you find me? Nobody, but two people know where I'm at. Wait, never mind. I know who it was. Figures that the Headmaster can't stop himself from interfering again," Harry said scornfully.
"What makes you think it was the Headmaster?" Remus asked curiously.
"Because I trust the other person to keep her word," Harry said sarcastically.
"Can we come in?" Remus asked.
"No," Harry said firmly.
"Why not?" Remus asked in confusion.
"Because I didn't ask you to come here. Why would I want you to come in?" Harry asked mockingly.
Severus growled and walked up towards Harry. He slammed into something that threw him backwards. He landed on his butt and looked at Harry in confusion. Harry just looked at him and sneered, "What? Did you forget that I'm a powerful Wizard? Ever heard of wards? You can't get into my house unless you are given permission, which I haven't done." Harry shook his head mockingly. "And you call yourself a Wizard."
"Potter," Severus growled out in annoyance.
"Snape," Harry sneered.
"Harry, please let us come in. We need to talk," Remus said gently.
"No, we don't," Harry said belligerently.
"Dammit, Potter. Let us in now," Severus yelled, his face red with anger.
Harry rolled his eyes. "Oh yes, that's a big motivator for letting you into my home. Please, if I wanted to be yelled at I would've stayed at Hogwarts. Now, if that's all you're going to do, then I need to get back to my book. Tell the Headmaster to butt out of my life when you see him next. Ta ta!" Harry said cheerfully and turned to head back into the house.
"We know about the potion the Headmaster gave us that night," Severus growled out.
Harry froze in mid-step. He swallowed hard. He couldn't believe that they brought it up. He figured they would've wanted to forget about that night. He turned slowly and looked at them with a blank expression. "So?" he asked tonelessly.
Severus frowned in confusion. "What do you mean so?"
"Dumbledore told you about the potion. Big deal. It's done and over with. Get over it, I have," Harry said.
"Have you really?" Severus asked, his eyes dark and intense.
Harry had to suppress a shiver of desire that ran through his body at Severus's expression. Merlin, he remembered what it felt like to have that man's sole attention on him. He licked his dry lips and swallowed hard. He saw Severus staring at his mouth intently and Harry took a shuddery breath.
He opened his mouth to reply when he heard a voice calling him from inside the house. He turned to look in the house and saw Sam walking towards him. Worry hit him in an instant. Were the twins all right? Did something happen?
"Hey, Harry. I was wondering if you know where Blinky is. I can't seem to find it and...Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't realize that anyone else was here," Sam said. He cast a curious look at Harry and Harry shook his head minutely.
"Blinky should be in the bedroom if you can't find it anywhere else," Harry replied.
Sam nodded in understanding and cast a curious look at Remus and Severus. He walked back into the house and Harry turned back to the two men. Harry suppressed a gasp when he saw that Remus's face was filled with pain. Severus's expression was blank, his eyes cold.
"I see," Remus said softly. "I guess you don't have anything to say to us. Looks like you got over it just fine."
Harry looked at them in confusion before he realized that they thought Sam was his lover. He almost burst into laughter at the thought. Marlene, Sam's wife, would get a kick out of that if he ever decided to tell her. He opened his mouth to correct their assumption when Severus turned around and stalked off. He disapparated and Harry frowned in confusion. He glanced at Remus and asked, "What's his problem?"
Remus looked down at the ground and mumbled, "I guess he'd hoped that you hadn't forgotten about us so soon. I guess we were wrong, or at least the Headmaster was wrong. I'm sorry we bothered you."
Remus turned to leave, but Harry stopped him. "Remus, what the hell is going on? You two come here demanding to talk to me, and then Severus suddenly leaves in a hissy fit. Why?" Harry demanded.
Remus looked at Harry, his eyes filled with pain. Harry took an unconscious step forward before stopping. He couldn't bear seeing Remus like this, but he didn't understand what was going on.
"When the Headmaster told us what you thought happened that night, we knew we had to come here and convince you otherwise. We had hoped that maybe you cared for us. I guess we wrong. When you said you had gotten over that night, I thought you were just talking, but it looks like you really did," Remus replied.
Harry took another step forward. "Why would it matter if I got over it or not, Remus?" Harry asked.
"Severus and I thought you were ashamed of what happened that night. You left our bed the next morning with no explanation. When we tried to find you the next morning to talk to you, we couldn't find you anywhere and I don't have the Marauder's Map any longer," Remus explained.
Harry looked at Remus in disbelief. "You thought I was ashamed? Remus, you know as well as I do that it was just pity fuck. You and Severus found out about my feelings and you felt sorry for me. The potion that the Headmaster gave us only exacerbated the feelings," Harry said in confusion.
Remus looked at him in shock. "It wasn't a pity fuck," he yelled out. "Dammit, Harry. We both love you. We thought you loved us too, but when we woke up to find you gone and you wouldn't talk to us, we thought that maybe we were wrong and you were ashamed of what had happened. I didn't know you thought it was a pity fuck. Have you thought that all this time, Harry?" Remus asked.
Harry looked away, his eyes filled with tears. His assumptions of what happened that night were being torn apart. They did love him and it hadn't been a pity fuck. Merlin, if only he hadn't left the next morning. He could've had the last ten months with them.
"Harry," Remus called softly. "Invite me into your home. Please, Harry."
Harry swallowed the large lump that was lodge in his throat and whispered, "Come in."
Remus took a step forward and sighed in relief as the wards let him through. He stalked forward and grabbed Harry into a hug. Harry buried his head into Remus's chest and began to sob, the pain of the last ten months overwhelming him. "I'm sorry, Remus. I didn't know. I'm so sorry," Harry gasped out.
Remus's arms tightened their hold and he buried his nose into Harry's hair. He took a deep breath and he could smell Harry's scent. It was the scent that his wolf had been searching for all these months. His body relaxed and the wolf calmed. He hadn't even realized how tense he had been until he'd relaxed.
Harry pulled back and gazed up at Remus. He gave the man a watery smile. "Hi," he said softly.
Remus lifted one of his hands and caressed Harry's face. He stroked Harry's cheek and drew his finger down to Harry's lips, which he traced lightly. Harry parted his lips and Remus's finger dipped in. Harry licked the finger and Remus's eyes dilated in desire. He growled and bent his head, taking Harry's lips in a hard kiss.
Harry's eyes closed and he whimpered as he finally tasted the man again. He moaned as Remus's tongue entered his mouth and played with his. Remus cradled Harry's head and brought him closer, their kiss deepening. Harry pulled back to take a breath and he groaned in pleasure as Remus attacked his neck.
"Remus," he said hoarsely. He reached up, held Remus's head into place as the man bit, and licked his neck. "Fuck," he hissed out as Remus bit a sensitive spot. His cock was hard and his self-control almost non-existent. If they kept it up, Harry would be begging the man to fuck him in his front yard.
Harry pulled away from Remus and stared at him, panting heavily. Remus growled in irritation and reached for Harry, but Harry took a step back. "No, Remus. We can't do this."
"Why the fuck not?" Remus growled out, his amber eyes glowing with desire.
"For several reasons. One, I don't want to be fucked on my front yard. Two, we can't do this without Severus. Three, because there are other things we need to discuss before this can even happen," Harry explained.
Remus glared at him a moment before sighing. "Yes, I forgot about your friend," Remus said with a small sneer.
Harry looked at him a moment before chuckling. "Remus, Sam isn't my lover. He's my friend. He has an open invitation to my house. He came through the floo. His wife would find your assumption funny as hell," Harry said with a grin.
Remus blinked a moment before grinning sheepishly. "Oh, sorry," he said.
Harry chuckled and said, "That's fine. The jealously was kind of cute though."
Remus gave him a wry grin before groaning. "Crap! Severus thinks you have another lover." Remus sighed and said, "We need to get to the castle before Poppy has to sedate another student."
Harry looked at Remus in shock. "Severus scared a student so bad that they needed to be sedated? Surely, he's not that bad, is he? I thought he mellowed out some," Harry said.
Remus snorted and replied, "Let's just say that the last ten months have not been the happiest months for him. When Severus feels things, he feels them deeply. He loves you Harry, and he took your leaving rather hard. He missed you so much."
Harry bit his lips and blinked rapidly to keep the tears from falling from his eyes. He sniffed softly. "Oh, I didn't know. This could've been avoided if I had just stayed," Harry said in a whisper.
Remus took Harry into his arms and held him gently. "Maybe, but it's too late to worry about it now. We can only go forward and right now, we need to go see Severus."
Harry nodded and said, "Alright. You go ahead. I need to change and lock up the house. I also need to firecall Sam and see if he'll take Maverick for the night."
"Maverick?" Remus asked.
"My dog," Harry explained.
"Ah yes, your dog. Quite protective isn't he?" Remus asked with amusement.
Harry grinned and said, "Yes, he is. Funny though, I thought he would've gotten along with you. You know, from one furry friend to another."
Remus rolled his eyes and said, "Yes, very funny."
Harry kissed Remus gently on the lips. "You know it was funny, wolf boy. You're just in denial of my great wit," Harry said with a grin.
"Mmmm," Remus said as he began to nibble on Harry's neck again. Harry sighed in pleasure and let him nibble for a few minutes. Harry pulled way from Remus and smiled.
"You really need to go," Harry said. "The sanity of some poor student could be at risk."
Remus sighed in exasperation. "Fine, but you're going to be making it up to me later."
Harry grinned mischievously and said, "I promise."
After one more kiss, Remus turned and walked past the wards. He looked at Harry and smiled before disappearing. Harry stood there a moment before turning and running into the house in excitement. He whistled for Maverick, who came barreling into the house. He yipped in excitement and pranced around the house. Harry shook his head in amusement and walked over to the fireplace. He activated it and threw some floo powder into the fire.
"Sam," he called out.
"Harry, that you?" a female voice asked.
"Hey, Marlene. I was looking for Sam. I was wondering if you guys might take Maverick for the night. I was also wondering if you wanted to watch the twins for another night," Harry asked with a smile.
"You know I would love to watch the babies and Maverick. Is everything all right?" she asked in concern.
Harry nodded and smiled brightly. "Whoa Harry, put it away! If your smile gets any brighter, you'll be competing with the sun," Sam said as he came out of the bedroom.
Harry laughed and replied, "Sorry, Sam. I can't help it."
Sam looked at him intently. "Does this have to do with your guests today?" he asked seriously.
Harry nodded and said, "I'm going back to Hogwarts for the night. I need to get some things worked out with Severus. He left angry, thinking I had another lover. I need to go and correct that misunderstanding."
Sam frowned and asked, "Another lover? Who?"
Harry just gave Sam a look and Marlene laughed. Sam look at her in confusion and she rolled her eyes. She smacked her husband on the arm. "You, silly!" she said in exasperation.
"Me?" Sam squawked.
Harry laughed and replied, "Yes. Severus left and Remus stayed behind. I got things worked out with him, but I need to go save some poor student from Severus's bad mood."
"Harry, are they the babies fathers?" Sam asked gently.
Harry sighed softly. "Yea, they are. They don't even know about the twins yet. I haven't gotten to that point," Harry said as he bit his lip nervously.
"It'll be fine, Harry. You go take care of things. Don't worry about Katie and Corbin. They'll be ok," Sam said with a smile. "Send Maverick on through and go."
"Thanks, Sam," Harry said. "Maverick, go through the floo."
Maverick bounded over to him and whined. Harry patted him on the head and said, "Yes, I know you don't like the floo, but you need to go protect Katie and Corbin. How will you do that if you don't go through the floo?"
Maverick gave a gusty sigh and jumped into the fireplace. Harry heard a thump and yelp as Maverick landed on the other side. Harry chuckled and looked at Sam. "That dog is crazy."
Sam grinned. "That he is. Take care, Harry. I'll see you tomorrow. Not too early though. Go have some fun, you crazy kid," Sam said with naughty grin.
Harry shook his head at Sam antics. "Bye, Sam. Bye, Marlene. Thanks again."
Marlene smiled at him. "Goodbye, sweetie."
Harry deactivated to floo and rushed into his bedroom to grab some clothes. He walked out of his bedroom and headed for the bathroom. He took off his pajamas and hopped into the shower for a quick clean up. Getting out of the shower, he dried himself off and put on his clothes. He grabbed his wand off the sink and muttered a drying spell on his hair. He walked out of the bathroom and headed for the living room. He found his sneakers by the couch and put them on. Glancing around the room one last time, he walked out of the house and locked the doors. He activated the wards that hid the house and took a deep breath before disappearing.
He reappeared in front of the gates of Hogwarts. He walked past them and felt the buzz of the wards as he walked onto the school grounds. He made his way up to the castle doors and noticed that they were standing open. He walked into the school and headed for the dungeon. He nodded to a couple of the first year Slytherins that were hanging around in the hallway. He turned the corner and bumped into the Headmaster.
"Hello, Harry," the man said brightly.
"Hey, Headmaster," Harry said.
"What are you doing here?" Dumbledore asked, his eyes twinkling madly.
Harry rolled his eyes. "Yea, like you don't know. If you'll excuse me, I need to find Severus. Are his rooms still here in the dungeon, or did he move them?" Harry asked.
"No, he still lives in the dungeons. Maybe you can get him to move," Dumbledore said kindly.
Harry snorted and replied, "Not bloody likely. That man is stubborn when he makes up his mind about something."
"Mmmm...true, but maybe you can convince him?" Dumbledore asked with a mischievous grin.
Harry looked at Dumbledore a moment before smirking. "I might be able to do that. I have a couple of things that could change his mind," Harry said smugly.
Dumbledore gave him a sharp look of confusion before replying, "What may those be?"
Harry stepped around the Headmaster and began walking. "Sorry, Headmaster, but that's for me to know and for you to wonder about. Ta ta!" Harry said cheerfully. He chuckled to himself as he walked away from Dumbledore. It was rare that Harry could do something without the Headmaster knowing about it and Harry wanted to enjoy the sensation it gave him.
Harry stopped in front of the portrait that led into Severus's private chambers. He didn't know that password, so he had to knock. He waited a moment before knocking again. The door finally opened and Remus was standing there, looking annoyed. His face brightened when he saw Harry was the one knocking on the door.
"Harry, love. You're here. Great, now maybe you can get Severus out of his bedroom. He refuses to leave. I'm afraid that he is in a rather bad mood, and he refuses to listen to what I have to say," Remus said with exasperation.
Harry entered the room and asked, "Why would I want to get Severus out of the bedroom?" Harry turned around and looked at Remus. "That's exactly where I want him. Don't worry, Remus, I have a plan," Harry said brightly.
"Oh Merlin," Remus moaned. "Why do those words scare me so much?"
Harry snorted and replied, "Thanks for your vote of confidence." Harry stood in the middle of the living room and glanced around. Not much had changed since the last time he had been in here. That had been almost two years ago now. Harry sighed softly. He started at the feel of Remus's hands on his shoulders, squeezing gently. "It's been a while since I've been here," Harry said softly.
"I've been trying to get Severus to move out, but he refuses," Remus said.
"So I heard. I ran into the Headmaster on the way down here and he thinks I can convince Severus to move. I told him I would see what I could do," Harry said.
Remus hand's paused from their gentle massage and he asked, "Do you think you can do it?"
Harry chuckled and replied, "I have a couple of things I can use to change his mind. Now, as for getting him out of his bad mood." Harry turned and looked at Remus seriously. "Does he really love me? Did he really miss me? Does he really want me in his life?" he asked softly.
Remus caressed Harry's face gently and said, "Yes, he really does."
Harry's face brightened and he turned towards the bedroom door. "Great, then all I need to do is keep him still long enough to hear me out. No problem," he said cheerfully. He ignored the groan that he heard behind him and headed for Severus's bedroom.
He knocked on the door. "Go away, Remus," Severus yelled out. Harry tried the door handle, but the door was locked. Harry looked at the portrait on the door and grinned. It was a picture of a garden, but under one of the bushes lay a snake. He could hear its faint hissing.
"Excuse me," Harry hissed out. "Could you tell me the password to this door?"
The snake started in surprise and slithered closer to the edge of the painting. "A speaker? I haven't heard one of you in years. This is truly an honor," the snake hissed. "My name is Salis, what may I call you Snake speaker?"
Harry grinned and replied, "My name is Harry. I really need to get into the room that you're guarding. Is there anyway that you can let me in?"
Salis hissed thoughtfully. "I don't know," he hissed hesitantly. "It's a great honor to guard the door. I can't let just anyone into the room."
Harry nodded in understanding. "I understand, but it's important. My mate is upset and I need to calm him down. Sadly, he didn't tell me the password to his room."
Salis rose up and stared at Harry. "Mate you say? I did not know that the Dark one had another mate."
"Yes," Harry replied. "He is fortunate to have two mates, but I've been gone for a while."
"Um...will there be nestlings?" Salis hissed out curiously.
Harry grinned and replied, "Yes, in fact there are already two nestlings. My mate doesn't know about them yet. That is another reason I need to talk to my mate."
Salis hissed in understanding. "Very well then, the password is Green Eyes. You must come and talk to me some more when you have the time. It's nice to talk to someone who can understand me."
"I will, Salis. Thank you for your help," Harry hissed. Harry watched as the snake slithered back under the bushes. "Green eyes," Harry said and the door opened.
Harry pulled out his wand and walked into the bedroom. He aimed his wand at Severus and said, "Stupefy." The spell hit Severus just as he looked up at Harry in surprise. Severus's body stiffened and he fell onto the bed.
"Harry, what are you doing?" Remus asked in shock.
"Well, Severus can't very well leave if I tie him up. He'll have no choice but to listen to me. Just think; he'll be tied to the bed with nowhere to go. He won't be able to move. I could do whatever I wanted to him, and he would just have to lie there and take it," Harry said huskily. He glanced over his shoulder and looked at Remus. Remus's eyes were glazed and he was looking at Severus thoughtfully. Remus looked over at Harry and he grinned wickedly.
"Right then, never mind. Carry on," Remus said, his eyes glowing amber.
Harry laughed wickedly and made his way over to the bed. He climbed onto the bed and positioned Severus's body. He gazed at Severus thoughtfully and said, "You know, I have a little problem. With the Stupefy spell, his body is frozen into place. I can't move his bloody arms and legs."
"Try Fluidus," Remus suggested.
Harry glanced over at Remus. "Fluidus?" he asked.
"Yea, it relaxes the muscles of the body, even if they are under the Stupefy spell. The spell is used by Healers," Remus explained.
"Ah, that would be why I've never heard of it then," Harry said. Harry pointed his wand at Severus and muttered, "Fluidus." He watched as Severus's body became totally relaxed and fluid. Harry grinned in delight and reached down to pull Severus's right arm over his head. He laid the arm against the headboard, pointed his wand at Severus's wrist, and muttered, "Magicus Copula." A beam of light surrounded the wrist and the headboard, and a glowing white band of magic formed around the wrist, keeping the arm attached to the headboard. He proceeded to do the same thing to Severus's left arm and his legs.
Harry looked over at Remus, whose face was flushed red. His eyes were glowing with lust and he was looking Severus like he was Remus's next meal. Harry chuckled and Remus glanced up at him. Harry licked his lips and watched as lust flared even higher as Remus gazed at him. Harry groaned and said, "Focus, Remus. I need to talk to Severus first, then we can fuck."
Remus blinked and said, "Making love, not fuck."
Harry smiled brightly. "That may be, but you know as well as I do that the first time we get together after so long, it's going to be hard and fast." Harry watched as Remus blinked rapidly at his words.
Remus growled and Harry chuckled, a naughty grin on his face. Harry sighed and looked down at the bound man beneath him. "I think something's missing," Harry said thoughtfully.
"We could banish his clothes," Remus growled out.
Harry bit his lip thoughtfully before shaking his head. "No, if we did that, I won't be thinking about talking," Harry said.
"Maybe not, but it would guarantee to put Severus in a better mood," Remus said wryly.
"True, but then he'd be pissed at me because he was all tied up. Either way, he's going to be mad. Might as well talk it out first. If he's good, I might let him go," Harry replied.
Remus looked over at him in mock dismay. "Are you mad?" he asked. "You have him all spread out like that and you're not even going to take advantage of it?"
Harry grinned and replied, "We'll see. I guess I should wake him up."
Remus sighed mournfully. "If you have to."
Harry pointed his wand at Severus and muttered, "Ennervate." The spell hit Severus and Harry watched as Severus became aware of his surroundings. He glanced around warily and his eyes stopped on Harry, who was still sitting on the bed.
"Potter? What the hell is going on?" Severus yelled. "Why did you stun me?" he asked in disbelief. Severus moved his arms and noticed that he was bound to the bed. He glared at Harry and demanded, "Let me up, Potter!"
Harry bit his lip and shook his head. "Nope, I don't think so. Not after I went through all the effort of binding you to the bed, and keeping Remus from jumping you in your vulnerable state. I needed to talk to you and I knew you wouldn't stand still long enough to listen to me. Hence, all of this."
Severus's gaze was directed towards the werewolf and Remus just smiled at him. Severus frowned in confusion as he looked back at Harry. "What are you doing here? I thought you were off with your new lover," Severus spat out bitterly.
