Chapter Three: Baby, Marriage, Trusting, Thrusting, Media

�This isn�t right!� she stared at Barty like the baby stared at them lost in a new world.

�Don�t panic try to stay calm. What was the last thing you thought about before you did the spell?�

She blushed. He blamed himself. Just them the baby wailed the sound alerted Remus� other senses of course timing would be �great� as Hermione�s parents entered watching a fleeing man and decided to follow figuring something was up. Remus stopped dead in his tracks the sudden action caused a domino effect. As they began to get up from their not so respective places they stared utterly thunderstruck at the scene before them.

A crying Hermione holding a wailing baby while a supposed to be dead man trying to comfort them both.

�What the hell?� her father began to throw what she thought would be a nasty hex and she stepped in front of him.

�Daddy please! Just help us first!�

Jane Granger checked the baby internally and externally, she was amazed.
�She�s a beautiful baby girl. A real live baby! How did this happen?�

�I was showing him the baby charm and well as you can see the plant didn�t change back.�

�I think they mean how I came to be here. I had decided to leave the safety of my confines for some female companionship when out popped a few old colleagues decided to reward me for my fidelity to the Dark Lord. Somewhere in the back of my mind was the word run and when it came to the forefront I did what any living organism would do I, being that my wand was not present, fled even though I can do wandless magic I can�t do much from long distances. Instinct lead me to your home which just happened to have strong protection wards which I later learned to be down at about the time I got hit with the sectumsempra bleeding I blacked out onto your daughter�s bed while Mr. Lupin rounded up the bad guys.�

�And were you pray tell running from your so called associates?� Jane Granger stamped her foot with great impatient nothing would make feel more better right now than to hex him into womanhood ovaries and all. �Betcha he wouldn�t like being a woman for a lifetime.�

�I cheated the entire wizarding world Mrs. Granger and death twice in a row. I don�t think that you should go back to something that keeps trying to kill ya. Do you?�

She stamped again this time towards Remus, looking very dumbstruck at Barty because he left out the bathroom �incident� and the baby, and Hermione who stood at a lose for words.

�Well young lady you will have to notify Azkaban at once to let them know he very much alive and well and in my HOME!�

�There in lies the problem mother�. When the ministry came by to pick up the Death Eaters I kinda sorta bought him.�
�WHAT!?�

�And explain the plant!� she was a little less mad and more herself this time.

�I was showing him the baby charm when the plant wouldn�t revert back.�

�What could have made it stay this way?�

�I have a theory that the spell mixed with strong emotions from two people could turn the plant child into a real baby.� Barty stood his ground as though waiting for any physical blow that never came.

�What were you thinking about hun?�

Hermione blushed because once Remus and her mother found out about her journal her tastes became known to everyone in her close inner circle. Ginny wanted to know if she would �test drive� her fantasies and Harry said he understood her need to with another like her while Ron remained silent about it.

Jane searched for Barty�s face and found him suddenly interested in the specks on the floor. �He feels the same way. Well then the hard parts have been done. But now my aloe plant� errr�granddaughter needs a name.�

�What are you going to name her?�

�What are you on about mum?�

�Assuming that my prize aloe plant won�t turn back into a plant, she�s my granddaughter what shall you name her?�

�Morgana but I think Barty should have a say.�

�Well of course he does he�s the father!�

A ministry owl flew in followed by another then Errol the Weasley family owl. Hesitating Hermione took the letters and read them one by one before dropping to the floor in silent anguish.

Another more familiar owl flew in she was snowy white with big yellow eyes. Hedwig sat on Hermione�s lap and encouraged her to stroke her while she read.

Ignore my arse of a brother he just found out that his current girlfriend is the daughter a McNair and she�s preggers with his child. Mother is currently planning their wedding. I am so happy for you! Does Barty shag like a maniac or gentle like Remus?
By the way how is he last time I saw him was when he broke it off with Tonks, to bad you guys didn�t shag before you get married a week before the full moon the wolf comes out in him. You should see it! What�s the baby�s name? Is it a girl or a boy? Harry said he wants to have a family soon! I think the boys are pulling in over time with the weddings and the babes! Fleur is having a baby can you imagine that! Baby Flem! This is the year for it!

The rest of the day went by fast for them. Things like the discovery of Hermione�s ability to breast feed or Barty�s amazing voice while new seemed like it had been there since the dawn of time. They relaxed a bit when Molly and Ginny didn�t show up due putting Ron in rehab. Hermione also learned that Tyketris McNair was nothing like her entire family.

She and Barty retired to what her mother now referred to as their room.
She watched Barty transform her pink and white stuffed unicorn into a crib for Morgana.
Undressing were she was she put on a black lace nightie her mum had gotten her as part of her new wardrobe. She turned and watched Barty strip down to his bare skin, she suddenly felt hot and uncomfortable as her breast hardened again this time it wasn�t for Morgana. Sliding between the sheets a husky voice slipped between her lips and called to Barty.

�Yes my love?� he turned and gave her quite an eye full.

She tried not to stare he was long and so wide. �Think Mione� Think�

�The Ministry already thinks you�re my husband right?�

�Yes! I believe they do!�

�Then�.
�I have so husbandly duties to attend to�

Remus could hear and smell every movement they made it hurt him.
�But why does it hurt?

�You wanted to mate with her. Make her yours, mine, ours. She should be we know her better her scent is acceptable.�

�Yes she does but he is her lifemate we can not break them apart Moony.�

�Weak Remus that�s what you are! We had her in the shower but you have such morals.�

Hermione�s ever growing arousal melding with Barty�s was arousing the hell out of him.

Moony growled if he didn�t get relief for them both soon they would go crazy.

�Hermione I love you!� he heard Barty whisper as they snuggled down to sleep on his way out.

He followed his nose and it lead him to a familiar but different smell.
