Chapter 3

When Severus was literally pushed through the doors into the night club he hated it straight away.

Though to be honest, it was his intention to hate every minute he was forced to be here.

He hadn�t even made it to the bar when he was accosted by three different women wanting him to dance. They pressed their bodies against him suggestively, gyrating to the music as they whispered in his ear about how they would love to share the smallest of floor space with him.
Remus smirked when he saw Severus scowling fiercely at the women as they tried to pull him toward the dance floor.

�I do not wish to dance with you or anyone else in this gods forsaken hole. Now kindly remove your self from me or I shall be forced to remove you in a most painful manner.�
The poor young woman who had sidled up against him gave him a filthy look and a very suggestive middle finger before moving away and dancing in front of Ron Weasley.

Ron didn�t mind in the least and headed straight to the dance floor with the attractive young woman.
Meanwhile Remus managed to get the attention of the barmaid and ordered the drinks. Severus, Harry and some of the others managed to find a couple of tables next to each other and sat down while Remus an, Pansy Parkinson and Padma Patel brought over the drinks.
As everyone either chatted or danced Severus sat nursing his firewiskey as he cast his glare across the immediate vicinity.
Remus nudged him. �You�re not in the Great Hall now Severus. You�ll never pull if you keep glaring at everyone. Plus you�re scaring them off from the rest of us. Lighten up man.�
�I will not lighten up. I do not wish to be here, but if I must, then I shall glare as much as I wish.�
Remus said nothing more but he noticed as the evening wore on that Severus� foot would occasionally start tapping if he liked the sound of a particular song.
Remus caught the eye of a pretty blonde haired woman and stood to go ask her to dance. It was Melanie. He�d met her a few times before, they�d danced and he�d ended up back at her flat. There weren�t many women that could handle Remus� animalistic appetite. But Melanie seemed to thrive on it. They headed onto the dance floor.

�Your friend doesn�t look too happy.� Mel said.
�Who Severus? He just needs to be taken out of his shell a bit.�
�Dragged out more like. What�s wrong with him?�
�Nothing that a good woman couldn�t cure, but he keeps scaring them all away. Plus he�s too uptight and this isn�t really his scene.�
�Really. Then maybe he needs a shove in the right direction.�
�What do you mean? If Severus decides to sit and sulk all night then I�m afraid that is what he will do.�
�We�ll see about that. Wait here Remus. I�ll only be a minute or two.�
Before he could react Melanie disappeared into the throng of gyrating bodies on the dance floor.
Kat had turned down no end of men tonight. Somehow no one seemed to spark her interest.

Her friends were doing okay. Most were either on the dance floor or cuddling up intimately with someone at one of the tables set into the shady areas of the room.
When Melanie came dashing up she thought something had happened to her.

�What�s up Mel?�
�Nothing. But you have to see this guy Kat. He�s gorgeous. Tall, dark, broody and sexy as hell. But his friend says he keeps turning everyone away. Sounds like someone I know.�
Kat�s eyes flashed mischievously.
�Oh? And who would that be?�

�Just take a peep at him Kat. See what you think.� Melanie pointed over to wear the Potions Master was sitting and left to find Remus before he gave up on her.

�Come on Remus. Were sitting this one out. I want you to see the Kat in action.�

Melanie grabbed Remus� hand and they sat at the table next to Severus.�

�Melanie. What�s going on?� Remus wanted to know.
�Shh. Just watch and see.�
Kat moved along the edge of the room until she could see the person Mel was so excited about.

Her stomach knotted when she caught sight of him.

�Oh yes. You�ll do for me.� She thought.

But Mel had said he turned everyone away, just as she had been doing all night.
Turning her head to where the dj was stood dancing away behind his equipment, his eyes closed as he lost himself to the rhythm.
Kat stared at him, her eyes brightening.

The dj suddenly opened his eyes startled and looked directly at Kat as if hypnotised.
She kept her eyes locked to his for a moment and he nodded to her.

Kat smiled and turned away from him, waiting until the music started before she made her move.
Kat knew that the moment she stepped onto the dance floor that everyone would move back. No one obstructed Kat when she had a mind to dance.
The music started and Kat felt the beat as she stepped onto the floor.

As predicted the other dancers moved aside as she moved through them and took her position on the floor.

She�ll only come out at nights

The lean and hungry type

I�ve seen her here before

Watching and waiting

But her eyes are on the door.

Kat began to dance with a cat like grace in time with the music. She wasn�t in the least bit self conscious about dancing alone. Her eyes were on the man she wanted and she let him have them full force.
Severus was tapping his foot to the music now playing. He liked the beat and the lyrics caught his attention.

But something else drew his attention too. For some reason his eyes were drawn to the dance floor and once there they were glued to a pair of golden eyes.

Kat rotated her hips sensuously as she danced. The tight, black leather catsuit she wore showed her shape off to perfection. Her eyes stayed locked to his as she willed him to the dance floor.
Severus didn�t even realise he was standing, let alone walking directly towards the woman on the floor.
�Oh Gods no.� Remus jumped from his seat, ready to grab the potions Master and pull him back. �Severus no. Not her. She�ll eat you alive man.�
�We shall see who does the eating Lupin.� Severus growled back without ever taking his eyes from Kat.
Remus was panicking now. He�d seen this woman before. There were rumours about her. Remus wasn�t joking when he said she would eat him alive.

No on ever returned when she got her claws into them.

Severus reached his destination and immediately his arm snaked around Kat�s waist and he pulled her to him.

But Kat didn�t stop her movements.

Instead Severus moved with her, his hips mimicking her motions as they danced, their every movement fluid.

In her heels Kat was nose to nose with Severus and they touched their foreheads together and kept them there as their feet and bodies seemed to weld themselves together as they moved as one.

I wouldn�t if I were you

Remus was beside himself. �Mal I can�t believe you put her on to him. She�s lethal and you know that.
�Leave them be Remus. He just might be the one to tame her. You never know.�

But Remus wasn�t happy. He was worried for his �not quite� friend.
Severus on the other hand was for once enjoying himself. He was moulded to the most sexiest thing he had ever seen. She literally purred at him when he took hold of her.

He knew she was no ordinary woman, not with eyes like those. And the way she reached out to him with her mind, or was it with her eyes. He didn�t know which it was but she had done so and he was willing to answer her call.
Remus watched as Severus and Kat all but made love on the dance floor. Her leg was wrapped around his waist as they bucked and writhed to the music.

Remus didn�t even know the man had it in him to move like that.

Severus was panting at the nearness and feel of this woman pressed against him. It was a long time since any woman had made him feel this hot. This wild and reckless.
Kat too was almost lost to the sensations this extraordinary man was causing in her body. This was new to her. Sure she would get turned on by her chosen partner, but never to this extent.

Remus resolved to grab Severus and pull him from Kat�s clutches before she got her claws into him proper.

But when the song finished Severus had his face buried in her neck and Kat simply held on tight and apperated them both back to her flat.
