“Really, just try it Harry!” At the moment, Harry Potter was in the middle of a heated argument with the figment of his imagination.
“As if that will work.”
“HARRY YOU ARE NOT CRAZY!” She raised her voice and turned away from him. “Dammit what is it with boys and their inability to open up about what’s bothering him.”
“I don’t believe I gave you that sexist attitude…” Harry narrowed his eyes at her.
“You had to have!” She rolled her eyes. “Anyway Hermione’s morning sickness is far too violent for her to come see you do you really want to stay in this place with Lockhart over there for the end of your days.”
“I’m crazy, I’m talking to you.”
“Maybe I’m just a figment of your imagination or your consciousness telling you to get over yourself! Harry, I’ve gotten to peek at your chart.” She took a deep breath. “They categorize you in ways you shouldn’t be. Those pills they gave you…” She watched him eye the pills that he had yet taken. “You know as well as I you are not crazy.” She whispered the word and he just looked at her. “Harry, you fell into a depressed slump. But you are far from severe depression or anything of that sort!”
“Liz, Shun-”
“Don’t shut me out too. Despite it all I do love you.” Harry looked at her.
“Can imaginary friends love?” He snorted
“Does a child love its parents?” She grabbed his hands. “You can’t keep blaming yourself for their deaths.” She hugged him to her breast, his body consumed by the good tingles she radiated.
“I could’ve prevented them.” He muttered. “Sari-”
“Shh…” She stroked his hair and flopped back his face resting on her stomach. “Harry, the deaths of Cedric Diggory and Sirius Black…” She felt him squirm. “No, no… Stop it.” Her voice much firmer. “They were unfortunate results as your lack of war experience. The others lost in the big battle; they were soldiers ready to die for the greater good. For your cause. For them it was to die fighting, not roll over and die. If he had his way… every one of your friends would be dead. Miss Hermione would not be able to suffer these violent spells of morning sickness; Ron would never see his children. This person who wrote the saucy-ish valentine would not have been able to do so.”
“Liz…”
“Harry… you’re wasting the fact they gave their life all of this to happen. They wasted their life for a boy who lived, and doesn’t appreciate it. Doesn’t live his life to the fullest. They wasted it for a boy who won’t love and love hard…” Silence followed. “Really when you see the therapist who is just so giddy when she sees you because you are the boy who lived… tell her the truth… that you’ve stopped taking those pills, and you’re ready to come to grips with what you need to.
“I don’t think I made you smarter than me either. I have Hermione for that.” Harry added softly the both of them giving a soft chuckle.
*~*~
“Mr. Potter…” The Therapist who was once so giddy to see the young man had worn out at trying to lift the man up, but try she will for she could be the one to bring Harry Potter back to the world.
“Lady Liz.” He looked at the plump woman with the large chest. She looked at him…something about his posture…
“How are you today Mr. Potter?” She adjusted her glasses to look harder at him.
“Fine.”
“The nurse says she’s been finding that you’re not taking your medicine properly.”
“I’ve not…” He licked his lips.
“Why is that?”
“I…” He paused. “I’m ready to open up…” He licked his lips again and the woman looked at him shocked.
“Excuse me?”
“I… I’m ready to talk to you. Stop lying… to be honest…”
*~*~*~*~
“Ron, Stop terrorizing Hermione and come help me set the table!” Mrs. Weasley called to her youngest boy and continued waving her wand zapping it spotless in many places despite the fact it was already clean.
“Anything I can help you with Mrs. Weasley?” Hermione set down the glass of water they had her sip.
“Nonsense dear.” She kept the cleaning while Ron grumbled something about being the help, not the slave in the kitchen.
“I’m here!” The voice called before the heavy crack of someone apparating startled the woman.
“George, you really should just come in ordinarily, might scare Hermione out of her wits and disrupt the baby…”
“She’s alright.” He kissed her cheek. “Did Harry come in yet?”
“Not yet, but we expect him soon I suppose.” She brushed him off and waved him away.
“Ginny it really isn’t so bad…”
“He’s coming back though.” She complained to her father.
“He’ll be happy for you no matter what.”
“I can’t see him! Not now!” Ginny paced about the family room.
“Ginny, please sit down you’re making me nauseous.” Hermione groaned. “And this is Harry; he has no delusions about anything. The fact you haven’t been to see him should be reason enough for him to suspect you already have someone else.” Ginny sat down wringing her hands
“Still…”
“OH! The soup! Ginny check my soup please!” Molly fussed a bit more with the furniture and sat down obviously worn herself out. “Not as young as I used to be eh?” She sighed.
“You’re the same to me…” Arthur spoke up in one of his rare and sincere romantic moments, that was rewarded, with a kiss from his wife. The couple smiled at one another, the two learned to truly appreciate one another, especially after Fred’s death. They needed each other for the strength to follow when friends had passed, but even more when a son was lost.
“That is so sweet.” Hermione smiled at the two hoping in her mind to some degree it would be her and Ron in those places. She continued to smile and jump with a knocking sound was heard.
“He’s here!!” Arthur called and everyone rushed forward around the floo and waited for his appearance. Finally he came into view.
“Harry!!” They all cheered at once each giving their own greeting. He looked at them all in awe and he took his first steps back into the first place he was able to call home. Once out Molly grabbed him into a crushing hug, one that was welcomed with open arms.
“Mom, you’re going to kill him!” George smiled as she released him. They all finally got a look at the amazing boy. His hair had indeed grown much longer and more unkempt than they seemed to remember.
“Okay, My turn!” Hemione pushed passed everyone in a shocking move as she had been sick with morning sickness all day, but now she looked like she was managing nicely as she was hugging Harry. “I’m sorry, but I’ve had the most violent spells of morning sickness and Ron has been terrified to leave me alone that way! We would’ve come sooner.” She whispered sobbing into his chest as Harry had pulled a few more inches out of his ass since she last saw him. Then at once her tears ceased and she ran off to the bathroom.
“He seems happy…” Liz smiled from her place behind him. She touched his back. Just don’t forget about me entirely this time Harry. He shivered as the greetings and pats on the back came and he smiled all that much wider.
“How was it in the Looney Bin?” George rubbed his shoulder.
“It’s an experience…” Harry smiled and looked over his shoulder. Liz blew him a kiss and disappeared.

“Drakey!” Lada gasped snapping from her meditative state. Most of her charges were at rest, her overtime went into Harry Potter who was in good hands now. “Draco?” She wandered through the house and made her way to the kitchen where Draco was spooning take-out on plates.
“Almost ready!” He smiled.
“Oh Draco, you shouldn’t have!”
“Only the best for my favorite gal.”
“Oh don’t say such things they break my heart!!” She hugged him from behind. “Because you’ll never mean it with your pretty hair.” She touched his silky hair for good measure. He turned and kissed her on the mouth and she sat down pouting.
“How were the kids?”
“Bad as always.. You know young witches and wizards…” She saw a notebook on the table and picked it up.
“Don’t!” He reached to grab it and she pulled it out of reach. “You know Harry Potter is out.” All fight for the notebook stopped. “Didn’t think you’d actually use the muggle notebook I gave you.”
“He’s… he’s well?” Draco couldn’t stop the quivering in his voice.
“Well, I don’t know the details yet… but it seems he’s good with still moderate amount of therapy on the way. But as an outpatient. But I would expect he needed therapy after Hogwarts. I’m sure his battle scars are quite deep and tender, and wanting someone to heal them.”
“Are you certain he’s out?”
“Yes.” She flipped through his notebook.
“H-how do you know?”
“One of my charges is a child of one of those tabloid journalists.. The kind that marked him crazy when he went in.”
“I see…” Draco put the food before her his mind elsewhere.
“Unsent letters?” She stared at the pages, pulled out her wand and ran it over a page in particular. “You should be published you’re such a romantic Drakey…” She shoved her wand down the side of her bra.
“No!” He snatched the notebook back. “This… is private.” He looked at her.
“Everything is private… just go out and shag someone then come back. You’ll forget all about Harry Potter.”
“… Eat up” He walked off notebook in hand
“I’m gonna eat in my room Drake! I need to rehearse for opening night!” She took her plate to her room. Once there she removed her wand that was poking her uncomfortably in the boob.
“Need help with the lines?”
“Not yet…” She closed her door and locked it. “You better not say I didn’t do anything for you.” She placed the tip to a sheet of parchment paper and whispered her spell, the wand then began to move and recreate one letter in particular. “I don’t know what it is about boys that makes it so hard to say what they feel! At least Draco Malfoy writes his… so Harry Potter, ready for part II of that Valentine’s letter?”
