Chapter 3
The water was beautiful and blue; she sat close to the water’s edge, burrowing her little pale feet into the sand as the wind blew her black curls back, uncovering her eyes. She giggled as the water covered her feet and tickled her toes. He eased from her mind carefully so he wouldn’t wake her. Severus marveled at how a small child who had never been outside a world of magic could find peace in a place so neutral. He would take her as far as her dreams reached. He snapped his wand in half and tossed it as he carried his daughter into the airport.
