Thoughts In Italics.
Fred watched an upset George coax food into a nearly catatonic Harry and inwardly seethed. His anger was not with either of the men before him but instead with a selfish bitch who refused to take disinterest for an answer. She knew how old fashioned Harry was, she'd been counting on it in fact. True to form, once he'd cried himself out Harry had brokenly stated that he had to marry his boyfriend's little sister-and that's how he said it, "I have to marry my boyfriend's little sister". He'd completely shut down after that and George wasn't far behind, though he'd expected this reaction as well. Neither wanted to tell him that his only other option was to put their baby sister in Azkaban, most likely sentencing her to the Dementor's Kiss. Yes she was a selfish bitch who'd most likely ruined three lives in her stupidity, but she was still their sister.
Watching his twin put down the plate he'd been feeding both Harry and himself from (they'd not eaten a quarter of it together), Fred's heart broke when George pulled Harry into his lap with whispered apologies. Harry was such a tiny thing, no larger than a fourth year, and George had often pulled Harry into his lap for one reason or another even before their relationship began. This time, though, Fred knew why his brother was so unwilling to let Harry go; it had been at George's request that the family did not know about his relationship with Harry. Harry had been an honorary Weasley for nearly as long as Ginny had been in school and George had been unsure how his parents would react to the news that their son was dating their 'son'.
Now he would never find out how their parents would take the news, though Fred had always been quick to assure him that their parents would be thrilled. Harry, lacking in self confidence as he was, had simply gone along with George's request and kept everything a secret. Fred knew that George was regretting the decision now, and he had to wonder if Harry was as well. Somehow he didn't think he'd find out anytime soon.
Unable to stand the devastation any longer Fred fled; first the room, then the flat, and finally the Alley until he found himself on the stoop of his childhood home wishing he could still believe it was the most wonderful place on Earth.

Molly's heart broke when Harry showed up on her stoop just after breakfast the next morning, looking as though he'd lost a fight with a Dementor on his way over that morning. Just behind him stood George, looking like he'd been pudding. Suddenly Molly knew they'd been together, knew Ginny's actions had driven them apart. She was even willing to bet a pretty sickle that Harry was there to make a Declaration of Intent. As she ushered the duo into the kitchen she wondered if Harry would be able to get the words out at all.
He did, but only just; he had to sick up in the sink before Arthur could give his response. Arthur could be just as old-fashioned as Harry (in fact he'd taught Harry some of the finer points) and Molly knew that her husband would agree for Ginny to marry Harry in an effort to spare the family name. Molly really hated Society sometimes.

Arthur watched a distraught eighteen year old boy vomit in his sink while he contemplated the situation before him. Judging by their demeanor, Harry had been in a relationship with George until the day before; they were clearly serious, or at least they had been. It made Arthur wonder...if Ginny hadn't pulled this stunt, would Harry be making a Declaration for George today instead? Maybe not today precisely, but sometime soon? George was clearly just a serious about Harry; would he have been the first of Arthur's children to be married? There was no way to know, and Arthur knew as Harry rinsed his mouth and wiped the tears from his cheeks that he'd never find out; he would be accepting the Declaration for Ginny. It was the only way to keep the family honor. His reluctance and sorrow were clear in every movement, every word as he made the ritual acceptance. His would later swear that his heart stopped when Harry's composure completely shattered afterward.

Ginny was being insufferable, but Harry didn't seem to care. In fact, Harry didn't seem to care about anything anymore. Bill had come home for a quick visit when he heard about the engagement simply because he could not figure out why his flamboyantly homosexual 'little brother' would be marrying Ginny. When he heard what she'd done he'd been incensed, but there seemed to be little that he could do. He'd been clearly disgusted when she started demanding Harry's Vault Keys so she could 'get fully into the role' of his wife, and Bill had chuckled when Harry just stared at her blankly before moving into another room. The eldest of the Weasley children was glad to see that none of his siblings who knew of the situation were punishing Harry for Ginny's transgressions. They all ignored her screaming fits at being denied access to Harry's galleons, as well as her angry humiliation when Harry refused to buy her a Token (usually jewelry) to signify their engagement. When Harry absently told her he'd gotten her a flat where she would be living alone after the wedding with a modest allowance the Weasley boys and their parents had gotten behind him completely, leaving Ginny with no allies. She wrote to Charlie only to find out that Fred had taken a Portkey several days earlier to tell him of the situation.
Bill had to admit that he didn't like seeing his baby sister upset, but seeing what it was doing to Harry and George was far worse to his way of thinking. Torn as he was, the man left after only three days at home; he knew he'd not attend the wedding (which wasn't really a wedding at all, just signing the appropriate paperwork at the Ministry). In fact, Bill doubted he would voluntarily spend time in his childhood home at all in the next several years.

Two weeks before the sad, laughable excuse for a wedding was to take place Arthur came across Harry sitting in a dimly lit room in his flat drunk-very, very drunk. After several innocent comments resulted in spontaneous confessions Arthur directed the conversation around to Ginny. He wasn't surprised to hear that Harry considered her a psychotic gold-digger, though he'd been shocked to hear that she was known as 'The Whore of Gryffindor'. It gave the father pause; if she already had this sort of reputation, what honor was he saving his family by forcing Harry through this farce? The father's thoughts grew darker and more grave with each name Harry spouted-the names of people he'd seen Ginny perform sexual acts with during his time at Hogwarts. More than two dozen names, at least six of them females she'd 'played' with to please boys.
Curiosity had always been Arthur's weakness, truth be told. Arthur wanted to know why George and Harry had hidden their relationship, how long they'd been together, how serious they were. Now seemed to be the perfect time to ask, so the man carefully led the conversation...and felt like he'd been sucker punched by a giant. Nearly a year they'd been together, though Harry shared the fact that they'd been dancing around one another for years. The man's heart clenched to hear that they'd kept secret out of fear for Arthur and Molly's reactions. It was the answer to his final question that made Arthur's decision for him; his family was destroyed, and he'd not see Harry's good name brought down by his daughter's actions.
Arthur knew he'd no longer stand in the way of love when Harry brokenly admitted to having purchased a Token for George while on his last business trip. Harry had been planning to ask permission to court the eldest Weasley twin and when the time came, if the time could come after what Ginny had done, Arthur planned to give his wholehearted consent to a formalization of relations between Harry Potter and George Weasley. In the meantime he would keep this knowledge to himself, not even telling his wife-Ginny would not know until it was too late that all of her planning and manipulations had been for naught.
