-Chapter Two-
Sitting at his desk, going over the most recent report about how the students were doing in their classes, Headmaster Albus Dumbledore sighed tried to stay focused on the task at hand, but couldn't help but become distracted with thoughts of what had happened the week earlier at the same time.

Sitting at his desk, sucking on a lemon drop, and reading over a note from Minerva about the multiple detentions Severus was giving to her Lions for almost nothing, Albus Dumbledore sighed and rubbed the bridge of his nose in frustration.
Setting the letter aside, he reached up and stroked Fawkes' breast as the Phoenix landed on the arm of his chair, giving a comforting sort of chirp.
Letting the calm that came from petting the Phoenix, Dumbledore started to relax before a loud alarm started blaring, echoing off of the walls of his office and alerting him to the fact that something had happened to Harry Potter.
Nearly choking on the lemon drop, he spat it out, ignoring it as it rolled across his desk getting the papers sticky and leaving a trail behind it. Jumping up, he rushed out of his office and headed down the stairs. Luckily on his way he ran into Minerva and grabbed her arm, pulling her with him as he headed outside so he could reach the edge of the wards so they could apparate away. Luckily there were no students around to see the frantic pace they were setting.
Reaching the edge of the wards, Dumbledore disappeared taking Minerva with him with a loud crack. They landed on a street with houses that looked exactly alike.
"Albus why are we here?" Minerva asked, taking out her wand and quickly changing their robes to muggle clothing so they didn't draw any attention to themselves.
"When I was in my office the wards around Harry Potter went off. They only go off when something is wrong, Minerva." He said, starting down the street towards a house where they saw a large man and a large child getting into a car before they set off down the street driving right past them.
Walking up to 4 Privet Drive, Minerva looked around and said, "I told you these were the worst sort of Muggle. If something happened to that boy, Albus..."
"I know, Minerva, but they're his family. It was the only place we could safely put Harry." He said, as he reached out and rang the doorbell. A few second later, a horse faced woman answered the door.
"Hello Petunia." Albus said, with a kind smile on his face.
"You! What are you doing here?" She screeched out.
"We're here to check up on, Harry. Where is the child?" Minerva asked, looking into the house.
"That freak isn't here. We didn't want him to begin with so we got rid of him."
"You did what? Where did you take him?" Minerva hissed out.
"Why don't you use your freakishness to find him? I'm sure you'll be able to." Petunia said, before slamming the door in their faces.
Growling, Minerva pulled her wand to force the door open, but Albus stopped her with a hand on her arm.
"Come Minerva we must summon the order and start a search for him. Forcing them to tell us will only make them abandon him again once we return him to his home."
"He is not coming back to this house, Albus. We'll find somewhere for him, but we are not leaving that poor boy with these...heathens!" Minerva nearly shouted, before turning around and storming down the street.
Sighing, Albus made his way after the seething witch, knowing he was in trouble, but this really was the only place that little Harry would be safe before he learned how to use his magic.

Setting the papers aside, Albus rubbed at the bridge of his nose. For the past week he had been sending the order out all around England looking for their missing savior, but there had been no sign of him.
Whether he wanted to or not, he decided it was time to send Severus to find out where the Dursley's had left Harry. It had already been a week and the longer it took to find him, the lower the chances they had of finding him still alive.
****END CHAPTER****
The chapters seems to be coming out rather short, but I hope you all enjoy them regardless of that.
