Lily and I had barely enough time to recover from our orgasms when the wards went off in the house. The screaming sound echoing throughout the house. Lily and I jumped up scrambling to get dressed. I slipped into the blue tank top and jeans I had brought in while Lily transformed a towel into a emerald halter top and jeans. We ran out of the bathroom immediately checking the kids room to find that the silencing wards we had put up for protection in case the wards went off was working perfectly the both of them still fast asleep.

We bolted down the hall and saw Remus standing there his wand drawn along with Dorca’s and Meadow. Lily and I gripped our wands and walked forward. I already knew what I would see but was praying I was wrong. I wasn’t. James and Sirius stood in the middle of the room looking at the three people holding their wands out lazily. “Do you really think if push came to shove you could beat us?” James asked. “I don’t know but personally I’d like to find out.” Remus growled. “Back off if we wanted to kill you you’d be dead right now.” Sirius said grinning. I stepped forward with Lily their eyes landed on us. “What are you doing here? Your death eaters. Are you really stupid enough to go up against five aurors?” I asked. “Now is that any way to greet us? After all we came here in peace you’re the ones who drew your wands first.” James said with a smirk. “Explain.” Lily growled.

“The way we see it, you two fucked up. You won’t admit it but you did. I’m guessing your little spell wasn’t supposed to make Dumbledore disappear too was it?” Sirius asked. “It was just supposed to take our leader, not yours.” James finished. Lily and I glanced at each other. Honestly we weren’t sure what the spell was supposed to do. Dumbledore had just instructed us to use it. He never elaborated or told us what to expect. Before anyone could respond a resonating cry filled the room and a burst of flames exploded slowly disappearing until they were gone revealing Fawkes, a letter attached to his leg. “Fawkes.” I breathed in shock. He turned to me and flew up landing on the couch that was next to me. I took a step towards him and took the letter with shaking hands.

“What the fuck!” Sirius growled looking at us in suspicion. I slowly opened the letter and saw Dumbledore’s writing. “Mione?” Lily asked. “Read it aloud Granger.” James growled. I looked at him and swallowed.

“If your reading this, then you’ve cast the spell. I informed you that you would know when the time was right. However I knowingly kept the end results a secret. Tom and I are at this time in a different realm where we will end this war once and for all. It is up to us to finish this. Miss Granger, and Miss Evans. The both of you are talented witch’s and if I should not return there is no one else I would trust Fawkes with. Take care of him in my absence. Should I not return Voldemort will, if that happens prepare for war.” Suddenly Fawkes burst into flames making me jump as a pile of Ash’s appeared revealing the baby phoenix. I looked at the letter before letting out a small nervous laugh. “P.S. He’s been looking horrible for week.” I finished.

Lily look at me shocked before looking at the bottom of the letter her eyes widening in disbelief. James and Sirius looked at the group of us. “So let’s just put our wands down and try to get along children.” Sirius growled sitting down on the chair and propping his feet up on the table. “ARE YOU FUCKING INSANE!” Remus yelled finally losing his temper. “Get the FUCK OUT! Before I call the ministry myself!” He roared. “I don’t think were going anywhere and I think you should get used to that fact!” Sirius snapped. Yelling erupted through the room. Yelled and shouting sparks flying from multiple wands but no spells being thrown. It wasn’t until a soft sound alerted me and I lowered my wand and turned. There stood Harry and Orion in the room behind us both looking scared and confused. “MOMMY!” They both wailed before running to me and Lily. I grabbed Orion just and Lily grabbed Harry the argument immediately forgotten.

“What are you doing out of bed? Why did you come out here?” I asked hysterically. “We heard yelling we didn’t know what was going on.” Orion answered. “Sweetie come on, I’ll take you and Harry back to bed.” I murmured picked Orion up and having Lily hand Harry to me. I walked them back to their room and tucked them in. “You two stay in here, ok. The adults are talking and right now it’s better for you to stay here.” I explained softly before turning out the light. “Goodnight mummy.” Orion said. “Night auntie Mione.” Harry called. I blew them each a kiss before walking out.

Sirius and James were still silent and Lily looked incredibly pale. “So are we going to get along or not?” James asked, the children’s appearance seemingly not bothering him at all. He hadn’t gotten a good look at Harry, Sirius was quiet his eyes thoughtful. This did nothing to calm my frazzeled nerves.

Something told me more yelling was to come, Harry and Orion were safe in their room which I had placed a few wards over. If anything happened those children wouldn’t be hurt. Right now there were two known death eaters in the house. They weren’t making a move against us yet and it would hopefully stay that way. Just one problem remained. Lily and I each had a child that looked identical to their father. If James and Sirius stayed, they would figure out the truth and I was betting it would be sooner better then later. When that happened I didn’t think anything would stop spells from being thrown. The wizarding world didn’t know who the father’s of our children were, and we had worked damn hard to keep it that way. Neither Orion or Harry would be persecuted for who their fathers were.
