Chapter Three

Cry Wolf, Cry Wolves

"Everyone" (Loud Murmuring of Voices). "Everyone SILENCE!" screamed Dumbledore. "I have some information, one Neville Longbottom will now be staying here, I will be placing him under our new guest's, Roxellda's protection, since his grandmother is now under Witch Protection. Also I have an idea, it will be one of the Order's Secret Weapons, but first I must ask permission from three people in this room, before I may continue on." He finished. "Who do you need to ask permission of Dumbledore?" questioned Lupin in puzzlement. "Well actually Lupin, you are one of them, as well as both Arthur and Molly" replied Dumbledore. "I ask you Remus, to allow me permission to talk to Roxellda since you are her guardian, about changing some people". "You mean bite them, change them into wolves like her who can control when they change" interrupted Lupin. "Why yes Remus I do. Molly, Arthur, I ask your permission to allow me to talk to your children about being changed. They would be safer and stronger if you allow this" finished Dumbledore as he turned to look at them. "No. Yes." Replied Molly and Arthur at the same time. "Molly, why not" asked Arthur as he looked at his wife. "I just don't want my daughter running around on all four like an animal" replied Molly softly. "But the boys can decide on their own, if you are okay with it Arthur". "Albus, the boys can be spoken with and left to decide whether they want to be changed or not, you have our permission" said Arthur. "Very well, Remus, what do you think?" asked Dumbledore gently. " It is fine with me if you speak with her about it, but I want it understood that if she says no to changing them, then it is no, and I ask respectfully that you not try and pressure her into changing her mind" Lupin finally answered. "Very well, I will respect your wishes Remus. Oh, also Draco Malfoy will be given the choice of being changed as well. If all agree to this plan then I will send them out on a special mission to retrieve Mr. Longbottom" added Dumbledore. "Meeting adjourned, Remus, Arthur let's go talk to Roxellda and the boys".

A few Minutes Later

SNAP! "Okay, you two enough kissing. Dumbledore, Dad and Lupin are on their way up here they want to talk to all of us" said Fred ad he and George apprated into Roxelldas room. "Do you two ever knock?" asked Roxy jumping away from Ron on the bed. "No, not really" replied George with a grin. (Door swings open and Draco walks in) "Does anyone knock around here" said Roxy in exasperation. "Yet again, no dear" answered George. "Did they say why they wanted to talk to us?" asked Ron. "Nope" replied Fred. (Knock, Knock) "Finally someone knocks." Muttered Roxy. "Come in" she called. "Guess we will find out now" she added. "Good afternoon, Mrs. Lanco, boys" greeted Dumbledore, we would like to speak to you all for a few minutes and ask your permission so that I can go on with my little idea. Ms. Lanco, your permission, will be asked first, for if you say no, I need not finish with the others. Since you are a "wolf" not a "werewolf", you can pass on your ability to change and control the change to those you bite". "Are you asking me to bite someone?" asked Roxy, looking to Lupin with confusion in her eyes. "Yes dear, I am, if you do not mind, but please do not feel pressured to say yes, if you are in anyway unsure or uncomfortable. I will respect your decision, and you will not be faulted if you say no". Replied Dumbledore gently. "I…..I don't know If I can…..what if it goes wrong….what if I take it to far…..can't….stop….I…I just don't know if I can." Finished Roxy with concern and doubt. "I believe you can do it dear, but you must believe also." Replied Dumbledore. "Roxy, I believe in you as well, I will stay and watch if you want, I promise I won't let it go too far" said Lupin, reassuring her. "Okay, I can do it" said Roxy with renewed confidence. "So who and why am I biting them?" asked Roxy. "Well now, we must ask permission from your future bitees" answered Dumbledore. "Mr. Malfoy, Mr. Weasley's, what do you say?" "Yes" answered Draco quickly. "I trust her not to screw up". "Always wanted to be an animagus, but this will be even better" replied Fred and George. "Ron what about you?" asked Mr. Weasley. "Well you know that saying where you lead I will follow? I want to be a wolf to." Ron finally answered. "Well then, let's finish this up. For I have a mission for you five" replied Dumbledore.

A Few Minutes Later

"Wow, this is pretty cool, being able to go wolfy like" said Fred. "Wolfy? "asked Roxy laughing and shaking her head at him. "Mr. Dumbledore, you said you had a mission for us" called Roxy. "Yes, I have put Neville Longbottom, under your protection Ms. Lanco, here is a map to where he is, and the code word is "Snufflepoo". We will, see you back here in half an hour." Replied Dumbledore. "Good Luck".

Outside the secret Place

"So, let me get this right, Neville who has been placed under my protection, is scared to death of Draco. Who is here to help him, and he also knows everyone who is dark and dangerous, so therefore he has a reasonable fear of me as well." Asked Roxy in disbelieve. "Yep, that's correct. Not to mention the fact you two look like a couple of murderous death eaters, with your marks showing, black clothes and all that" answered Fred. "To be honest, if I met you two in a dark alley I'd probably Adva myself" replied George. "Wow. Thank you two so much, I feel really good right now" said Roxy sarcastically. "Okay, well I got a plan, clearly I have to go to the door to get him, so Ron will come with me. You three stay here, with wands at the ready, please. Come on Ron". "Be careful" called Draco as they walked towards the house. "You guys as well, remember the signal, change and one howl for trouble" replied Roxy. "You want me to knock" asked Ron once they reached the house. "No, I will, but stand to where my face is shadowed, so he doesn't panic" replied Roxy. (Knock, Knock) shuffling on the other side of the door. "Snufflepoo" spoke Roxy. "Oh! Thank goodness" called Neville as the door flung opened "Someone I know". "Hang on Neville" said Ron as he gave the all clear signal to the others. "Neville this is your protector, now I know this might seem weird, but its okay and Dumbledore will explain everything when we get you back to headquarters. Neville this is Roxy, you know the twins and Roxy's cousin." "Oh, hello, nice to meet you" said Neville as he went to take Roxy's hand. "Your…..your a death eater (noticing the mark on her arm), oh, no your Roxellda Lanco", (as he saw her face, then he passed out on the floor. "Dammit. Change of plans, he's out cold" said Roxy as she bent to check on him. "Well, someone pick him up, do a guarding circle, we'll have to change and hope we don't meet trouble on the way back" called Roxy as she changed into a pitch black wolf with a white front paw. "Got it" called the others as they also changed. Just then laughter pierced the night air. Roxy spun around, her eyes landing on Crabbe and Goyle, two students from Hogwarts who were also Death Eaters. "Keep going, head to headquarters, stop for nothing, bring the others" ordered Roxy as she changed back. "Roxy, I'm staying with you" called Draco as he to changed back into human form. "Me to" said Ron from her side. Snarls breakout form the twins as Crabbe and Goyle approach. "No! not this time, now run, we will meet up with you when this is done" said Roxy. The twins taking Neville with them sprint for home.

"Well, well, well, what do we have here Crabbe?" asked Goyle. "Looks to me like we have a traitor, a weasel and an hmm… don't know if the proper term is slut or bitch" answered Crabbe. "You can say what you want about me, but you won't talk to her like that" called Draco, pulling out his wand. "Not our fault, Draco that your cousins a slut, and just throws herself on to guys" replied Goyle. "No, I don't" said Roxy in a quiet, low and deadly tone. "Oh, shut up, before I give you a reason to use that mouth!" yelled Crabbe. "No you shut up, you fat ass pig, and I'd like to see you give her a reason to shut her mouth you pervert." Yelled Ron pointing his wand at Crabbe. "Oh, do I detect, something here, are you all working together? Not that it matters only one of you will live, the Dark Lord wants her back, so we shall take her back" Said Goyle. "Though we will stop and have some fun with her and that mouth that she loves to open up" he added leering at Roxy and winking. At this same moment Crabbe and Goyle aim their wands towards Ron and Draco. "No!" yelled Roxy, breaking into a song and putting a shield around them. Just then two green shots hit the shield bouncing back to their shooter. Who barely had time to get out of the way. Snap! "Neville's safe, we came back, we have two minutes to apprate back" yelled Fred as the twins apprated into the shield. "Come on!" yelled George. "One, two, three" Snap! "Their gone" yelled Crabbe. "What are we going to do"? Snap! "Come on you two, you tried, she's very powerful, let's go back and report this to the Dark Lord" called Lucius.
