Luminari_Lilium in a review for Stormy Encounters 2 you asked how I am able to write so many stories at once. In all honesty it is very difficult and many times I have started to write Stormy Encounters and half way through realized that I accidently change it over to another story which leads to having to find where the mess up happens and fixing it. I work third shift by myself and I keep a tape recorder with me at all times, my mind comes to life in the middle of the night (and I get my best ideas on a full moon) and I start rattling off ideas in to the recorder and save them for a later date. I have to say that my friends find it really amusing when they come over and find bits of paper with a story idea or a line that I want to use in a story written on it and of course I have help from the occasional friend or more recently my mother, who has taken to stalking my stories. I am glad you enjoy my writing and have to say that when you review no matter what has happened in my day it always makes me smile and just feel better knowing that you and everyone else likes my stories. And now, on with the story!

James’s eyes narrowed and then he launched himself across the small enclosed carriage to attack the Slytherin. Severus wasn’t really sure what to do fight or try to throw himself out the window either way he knew that with this lie that bitch felt the need to come up with he could never go back to the school else he’ll meet his death there. In shock Sirius actually grabbed the back of James’s robes and hauled him back to the doorway or tried but the other boy was too angry to allow himself to be pulled back.

“JAMES!” Hermione pushed herself in front of him “Stop it, now!”

“Oh No!” He glared at her “First I am going to kill that little Slytherin Shit!” He raised his fist “Then I am going to tell mum what you’ve done…whore!”

Before Hermione could speak she saw his fist start to come down towards a cowering Severus and she knew what she had to do. This would honestly be her first Slytherin act but how hard could it really be? She took a deep breath and launched herself in front of his fist, she made it look like she had been trying to talk to him again. His strong punch sent her flying to the side slamming her head in to the glass and then sent her crumbling to the floor completely knocked out.

“James” Remus looked at the unconscious girl on the floor “What have you done?”

“Hermione” He whispered “You stupid…wake up!”

“Stay away from her” Lily snapped “You jerk!”

“I didn’t do it on purpose!” He snapped moving over his sister “She got in the way”

“You shouldn’t have tried to hit Severus” Lily snapped at him “She was making up the whole “in the bathroom for a different reason” story and you got all worked up”

“So they’re not dating?” He asked “Not together?”

“Not yet” Lily snapped, thinking on her feet “Severus asked her out that is why she tried to drown him. But she told me that she was thinking that maybe it would be nice to have a boyfriend this year, all us girls have been thinking it”

“So she’s just going to date Snivellous?” James hissed.

“She told him that they would see where it went” Lily told him “She never said yes or no”

“Why would she even consider him?” James snapped glaring at the Slytherin.

“Because he’s smart, nice when he wants to be, gets good grades…” Lily listed.

“Ahh” James looked around for something else to attack with “So isn’t Remus…and he’s good looking”

“Looks don’t matter to her and you know how she feels about Remus” Lily told him “Learn to live with this James or Alice, Hermione, Severus and I will tell the headmaster how you attacked him and hit her when she tried to protect him”

“You wouldn’t!” He glared at her.

“Yes…we would” Alice spoke up.

James turned back to Hermione but was shocked to see that she was clinging to Remus’s legs making the poor boy almost cower in fear that she was going to knock him over. Her jaw was quickly bruising and swelling and there were tears streaming down her face as she rubbed it against Remus’s pant leg the way a child that was just punished would. Remus looked down at the strong girl that was cowering at his feet and groaned, it was times like these that he wished and sometimes prayed that he was a Slytherin so he could be cold and kick her away. But damn it all to hell he was a Gryffindor and found himself crouching down to look at the bruise on her lovely face…Lovely?!

If it was one thing that was always consistent with Remus, Sirius and Peter it was that none of them had EVER looked at James’s sister with any interest other than where to best aim the next dung bomb. However, now that Remus was looking at her he saw that she had really grown up over the last year, her hair was soft and curly now not the frizzy mess it once was, her skin was milky and looked soft to the touch. He licked his lips slightly as he realized that he wanted to touch that skin, his hand slowly reached out and his knuckles gently slid across her jaw and down her pale throat making her eyes close momentarily.

“Remus what the hell are you doing?” Sirius asked looking at the strange scene in front of him.

“I was…checking” He stuttered “The bruise”

“Didn’t look that way from here” Sirius muttered with sneer on his face.

Hermione stood up and looked at her brother with a hurt look on her face like she couldn’t understand how he could be such a bastard to her. James looked back at her and sighed, running a hand through his messy hair he looked to the ground clearly uncomfortable with the turn of events.

“I’m sorry” He told her “I was going after him” He thrusted his thumb over his shoulder at Severus before continuing “I never thought that you would get in the way and I never meant to hurt you. I’m sorry, can you forgive me”

“Dad’s going to be very cross when I tell him” Hermione told him angrily.

“Please” He begged suddenly afraid “Please…don’t tell him…he’ll kill me…I’ll never see my friends or daylight ever again!”

“Fine” Hermione raised her face so he could see the bruise even more “Then you can keep you’re stupid mouth shut about my love or sex life to mother”

“You have a sex life?!” He swung around to glare at Snape.

“Oh my god” Hermione rolled her eyes thinking that he may look like Harry but did tend to act a lot like Ron “No, you dumb git…”

“I will kill anyone who touches you!” James told her angrily “ANYONE!”

“Do you suffer from split personalities?” Hermione asked honestly.

“Anyone who touches you” He repeated making her roll her eyes.

“Well” Hermione glared “Remus helped me stand, go kill him. When I fell Sirius touched my shoulder trying to keep me up, go on…go kill him”

“I’ll forget this happened” He promised “But I don’t want you dating him. Not him…anyone but him”

~~~Hogwarts: Gryffindor Girls Dorm Two Weeks Later~~~

“So” Lily looked at her over the top of her book “Are you really going to date Severus?” This was not something that she had allowed them to speak about. Harry had apparently gotten his nosiness from his mother.

“What?!” Hermione squeaked “No…I don’t know. Are you ever going to date James?”

“Never” Lily laughed “But I think you and Severus would be good together”

“But then there was the little thing with Remus” Alice said smiling brightly “I saw that. The way he was looking at you was like…like he’d never properly seen you before”

“He was probably staring at the horrible bruise on my face” Hermione laughed.

“Then why are you…” Lily’s eyes went wide “Holy merlin…you like Remus”

“I do not!” Hermione screamed.

“Then why is your face positively scarlet?” Alice asked jumping on her bed

“Because I have you two freaks making me think about him, like that” Hermione snapped.

“Oh my gods” Alice said suddenly all teasing gone from her voice “Oh no…Voldemort has struck again”

“Anyone we know?” Lily asked biting her lip, no doubt thinking about her family.

“Muggle family known as the Wyatt’s, half-bloods known as Nixies, Minns and Philix and then…oh god…oh no” Alice’s hand went to her throat and her eyes misted over.

“What is it, Alice” Lily bit her lip “Who is it?”

“‘The bodies of John and Caroline Lupin were found earlier this evening. The Dark Mark was over their house and it is believed that the house was attack suddenly and the couple (whose son is at Hogwarts) was tortured with the Cruciatus before the killing curse was preformed, our condolences go out to their son” Alice stopped talking and there were tears filling her eyes as she looked at the other girls in the dorm room “Do you think he knew at all today?”

“I don’t know” Lily whispered.

Hermione laid in her bed later that night and sobbed loudly, thanking all the gods for silencing charms though she knew that she was not the only one in the room sobbing. Some, like Lily cried out of helplessness for their muggle loved ones and others like Alice wept for Remus’s loss, feeling it just as deeply as anyone in that situation. Hermione wept for the loss of his family, the loss of her friends in her own time and for the loss of Remus himself in that time as well. She knew that she was sent here to live but she knew what others didn’t, she knew about the Horcruxes and she knew where they were hidden. She looked around the room seeing the outlines of the other girls with their arms wrapped around their torsos, hunched over and hugging pillows while they wept for whatever reason they had.

‘Okay Tom Riddle’ Hermione thought looking at all the heartbreak around her and knowing that it would be worse tomorrow when she actually saw Remus ‘You took my family, my friends and the only life I wanted to live. You got Harry in Godrics Hollow because we weren’t prepared, because we were weak but I promise you now I am no longer scared and no longer weak!’ She raised her eyes towards the heavens ‘I will find all of those Horcruxes and I will kill them…and then…I’m coming after you!’

A/N: Next chapter Hermiones starts working on finding those Horcruxes, Remus is grieving and Snape…has a soft side?

Now I am not sure if Lupins family was killed and when…but she is screwing up the timeline so what the hey strange things can happen…right? PLEASE LEAVE ME A REVIEW AND TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK I LOVE READING THEM.
