- Chapter Two: The Girl From Beauxbâtons. -
That evening, Harry waited patiently at the Astronomy Tower. He didn't know what to expect. Why had he never heard of this female Malfoy?
Suddenly, at the horizon, Harry saw something move. 'Are those Madame Maxime's Winged Horses?' He wondered to himself.
He was right. The Carriage made it's way to the tower, and the a petite, blonde girl, who was at least 2 heads smaller than Malfoy, climbed over the railing. She was wearing the Beauxbâtons uniform, and if Harry wasn't mistaken, by the way the uniform was styled, she was an 8th year student from the house of Papillionlisse. 'Ironic. Her name is Spanish for Butterfly, and Papillionlisse means Smooth Butterfly.'
"Um... Are you Miss Malfoy?" Harry asked insecurely. The girl had long, white blonde hair that was tied up in two pigtails, straight from the top, but curling at the end, reaching just over her bust. Only one silvery-grey eye was visible. The other was covered by her fringe. She looked up at Harry, and nodded. "Oui. 'Ello, my name is Mariposa Malfoy."
Mariposa didn't spoke with such an heavy French accent as Fleur Delacour did, but nonetheless she had quite an accent. "I suppose zat you must be 'Arry?" Her voice was light, but still contained the power in it that every Malfoy seemed to posess. Harry nodded as well. "Yes. It's nice to meet you." He held out his hand for her to shake. She took it, and squeezed it gently, giving him a brilliant smile. "Ze pleasure is mine. I zink I know exactly what Pansy means. 'Is crush, right?"
"Yeah..." Harry murmured airily. The girl herself wasn't scary or threatening at all, but still, she did scare him a bit. Just because she was family of Lucius Malfoy and Draco Malfoy. "Draco always says to 'er, 'Don't try to fix me, I'm not broken.' And I can't 'elp but agree. No one will ever be truly broken, I can tell you zat." Mariposa said softly, "Can we get inside? I'm getting a little cold." Harry shot up. "Um, yeah, of course!"
They both stayed fully silent while trailing down the stairs, and heading to the House Unity Common Room. They sat in front of the fire, until Harry allowed himself to speak. "So... Can you even help me with Ma- um... Draco?" The girl almost looked offended. "No one knows 'im better zan me, I can assure you zat. Believe me, 'e's really sensitive and sweet inside. 'E just doesn't show it. We're boz Soul Searchers. If you would deny your love for someone, It would eventually go away, right?" Harry nodded. "Soul Searchers are bound to one person for ze rest of zeir life. If zey accept ze bond, zey can never fall in love again. If zey don't accept ze bond, zey forget everyzing zat 'as to do wiz zat person. And if zey accepted ze bond, but zeir mate doesn't want zem, zey die. If you want to... 'fix' 'im, as Pansy places it, you should first be friends wiz him. 'E needs you, even zough 'e'll deny it 'imself. Earn 'is zrust. I 'ave a feeling you are more similar zan you boz might zink. I want 'im to be 'appy, and-"
A loud bang interrupted them. "Potter. What the Fuck are you doing with my darling twin sister?"
