Disclaimer: I do not own Harry Potter, nor any of the characters from the books or movies. I do not make any money from the writing of this story. |
AN: So, here's chapter three. God's it is difficult to keep up a four part story. It may take longer to get the other chapts up, but I'll keep plugging away. Put up one of my Tommy chapts, too.
Cando: Harry didn't forget Draco, just thought he didn't need much that day. Don't worry, he'll make it up to the blond, just read on. No, Hagrid will not be one of Harry's mates, in fact other than his Pure-human, Harry is at full capacity. No more creatures for mates, though he may get some more traits. I'm having fun with that.
Kitearakat: yes. See my other Chameleon sequels, my Tommy, son of a Dark Lord story, and probably the Malfoy for Minister, too. Glad you like them.
Kat: Okay, here you go!
Chapter Three: Unicorns, Centaurs and Giants, oh my!
Oliver had never seen a mild mannered man like Frank MacDougal display a face like the one that was now directed at the girl in front of them. Dionnelle had not yet figured out how far she had stepped out of line, so she continued on with her insubordination.
“Your desire to be the brother-in-law of a living legend doesn't put food on our table or benefit us in any way, so we don't appreciate you making it our concern.”
With great restraint, Frank turned away from the young woman and looked at the faces around them. “And does this tart speak for the rest of you? Who would turn their backs on the man who faced Voldemort, and death, more than once for our freedom, who came back from a killing curse and suffered so much in his years?”
Most of the heads around them shook with negation, and only a few bore embarrassed faces, but Oliver had quickly returned his look to the defiant young wife of the man who was gaining his respect with every word. She looked angry, defiant and filled with a rage that would come back with a vengeance when she was given free reign again. He noted this for future reference and looked back to Frank.
The farmer had not missed the scorn with which his young bride was regarding his guest and narrowed his eyes. “I think that answers your taunt, Dionelle. You will take the children to Larra, in the nursery, and confine yourself to the ladies rooms until we have located my sister and allowed her to make her own choices about her future. Now, let us make some plans.”
The girl turned and stormed from the room with the two children in tow. It had just begun to occur to her what her actions may have done to her status as a favorite wife in the household. She would need to be diligent in order to regain her prestige, and counter the possibility of Frank deciding on the mating he had been considering with the country girl, Larra, who worked as a governess in the nursery.
Alluvian was glorious, the only word that correctly described the Unicorn King, in Harry's mind. He stood taller and prouder than the group around him and was attended by a harem the likes the Chameleonis could only imagine. There were seven small men of various coloring and twelve husky brutes with hard lines and powerful visages who only softened when the king spoke directly to them. The entire group could have fit in the king's quarters even in their equine forms, though they all remained human for the main portion of Harry's visit. The room was designed to emulate the sky, with clouds and blues and silver everywhere. But, in reality, it was firmly on the ground, atop a cloud-covered mountain in the middle of the Scottish countryside. Harry doubted that the local muggles would even know the mountain existed.. He had felt the magic that surrounded it, even as he and Adrian had landed.
“So, you wish to represent my kingdom in negotiating for my grandchild?”
“I wish to avoid a war. I think I can speak with Magorian in centaur form, and convince him that releasing Puck would be more prudent than endangering the baby.”
“It is only because the traitor does not know of the parentage of Archemeides child, that he does not use the connection against me. How would you secure them safely without eluding to this?”
“I plan to use my unique status, as Chameleonis, and make certain offers . . . with regards to their herd's purity, in order to convince him of the prudence in accepting my terms.”
Alluvian began to chuckle as Harry smiled confidently, which caused some confused glares to turn his way, and this led to his chuckles turning to guffaws. “Not many know of the power that resides within a Chameleon's core, Harry Potter. These few have proven that. I think that Magorian will underestimate you, as well. Oh, to be a witness to his downfall. But, I shall have to view this second-hand. Bradley?” One of the smaller mates, a man with dark hair and a scar across his cheek that made his cheekbone more prominent, walked forward. “You will accompany Harry, in centaur form, and act as concubine until he is successful.” Even as Alluvian spoke to the man that Harry recognized as a Slytherin from his time at Hogwarts, Adrian shifted next to him in preparation to argue.
“My king, couldn't I . . .”
“No. As my heir, you would be in as much danger as Archemeides by your exposure. You will remain here, until I release you from the palace. Now, when my son's mate is free, remove him to the unicorn glade and allow the females to protect him while you return here to inform me. Then, my son will retrieve his family.”
“What about Firenze?” Harry injected, “Puck's father?”
“He has a position to retain in the centaur herd. He must remain. He will understand.”
“He's a spy.” Harry said gently, without implying much.
“War between my followers and the traitors has been averted many times, with the aid of a faithful plant among the weeds. My son should have communicated to me his desire, and Archemeides could have been removed from their clutches much sooner.” this last was directed at Adrian who looked like he was bristling to argue with his father.
Gawp stood just outside of the glade, watching the pretty horses gallop about and paw at the ground around his brother. They played with Hagrid and allowed him to pet them and feed them from his pockets full of apples and sugar cubes. They knew that the other giant was just beyond their border, and wondered when he would venture within and greet them. His innocence was proof to his acceptability, even as Hagrid was allowed among them, for his virtues and virginity. They knew this would not last, as the older, half-giant, was seeking to lose the latter to a female he knew, but until then, they would allow his touch and his attentions.
When Harry landed with Bradley, the females scattered away and allowed the two the space they needed to reform into the human forms that many wizards chose. Unicorns were not always capable, though some in the herd had the ability. Harry approached Hagrid who nodded to the Slytherin and chuckled.
“Always surprises me how many Unicorns are sorted into yer house, Bradley.”
“I know. I think it's the need to hide ourselves for self-preservation.”
“You look a lot prettier these days, er, sorry.”
“Unicorn genetics, Hagrid. We get that way as we reach maturity, and have mated.”
“So, tha's nice.”
“Have you any children, Bradley?” Harry asked, working for some connection to the unicorn who he would have to pretend was his mate.
“No, I'm still young for that. I'm only three-fourths unicorn, so I can manage the transformations, but not the breeding, yet. I'm hoping for my first foul next spring.”
“I hope you manage. The king would be pleased, I'm sure.”
Bradley chuckled and Harry waited for him to explain or stop. “You didn't realize? Oh, that's great. A unicorn king has only one heir, Harry Potter. The king is hoping that you will mate me, so that my first foul would gain full unicorn status, due to your influence.”
“What? He said to act as my concubine . . .”
“And how far do you think Magorian might require that act to progress. In order for you to prove you could actually enforce your threat. I've researched the legends about Chameleonis, that is why I was chosen for this task.”
“Wha's he talkin about, Arry?”
“I'm going to tell Magorian, when I meet him, that if he doesn't let Puck go, I'll start working my way through his herd, getting all of his followers pregnant with babies that will be guaranteed to be completely Unicorn, probably many of them Pegasus. He would have to wait to breed any of them, if they don't decide to go with me, when I leave. See, he may have heard that my abilities include something like Veela Allure.”
“Really?”
“It is in the legends.” Bradley added.
“So, if he wants to keep his herd, he'll let Puck go to the Unicorns, thus saving his authority over the rest.” Harry smiled at the surprised look of understanding on Hagrid's face. The trees behind them rustled and they all turned to see Grawp coming through and looking sad and hopeful. “Oh, dear. Grawp, come here.” Harry rose to his full giant transformation and held the happy giant boy. “You should have stayed with Ollivander. I can't have you following me. Maybe . . .”
As Harry comforted the giant, the female unicorns had returned and were nuzzling him with their noses and muzzles. Grawp giggled as they tickled him and nipped gently at his rag coverings. The young giant landed on his behind and began to pet and stroke the equines, giving Harry an idea. He quickly changed into Centaur and smiled at the group.
“Stay here, with the herd, and I'll come back for you when we're done. Can you do that for me?”
Grawp laughed and nodded, letting the unicorns bring him treats and crowd around him in an equine barricade like a flesh playpen. Harry turned to Bradley and gestured him to lead. Hagrid turned from his surprise at his brother's action and led the two centaur pretenders from the unicorn glade. A lot had happened in a short time, and he was still getting used to it.
Fred and George had taken to competing on such things as strange cravings, the size of their bellies and who would have the first girl children in the harem. It was driving Draco to distraction and making Blaise fidgety. Cedric took it in stride, claiming that he would just have more babies at one time, thereby negating any milestones they would manage. Shea glared at them all, claiming his baby would be special, too, though he wasn't sure how.
The Veela finally turned to Susie, the only sane pregnant mate and began talking about how she planned for her birth. She was special in being Selkie, and there were surely special arrangements that would make the fireproofing spells on the twins' rooms pale by comparison. The room went silent as the others realized that they had not been made privy to her condition.
“Oh, I thought you all knew.” Draco said with practiced innocence. “Harry told me right after he found out. Hmmm, I wonder if he meant it to be secret.”
“Don't tease them, Draco.” Susie said with a laugh. “He just got a little involved with his impending wedding. It wasn't an intentional slight.”
“So, when are you due?”
“How many will you have?”
“What do we need to do special?”
“I hope they're as pretty as you are?”
“Is everyone going to have their baby before mine?”
“I'm not due until spring, that's after yours, Shea.”
The questions came from everyone at once, with the twins, Blaise, Luna and Seamus all speaking over each other. Draco settled back watching, noting the frustration in the faun and the silence from the Sphynx, while smiling at his own finesse in derailing the one-up-man-ship of the two Weasleys. He knew that Oliver was aware of the Selkie's pregnancy, so his reaction was already categorized and filed away.
Harry arrived before his mates had finished their interview with Susan and he found them gathered in the larger sitting room, arguing about who was going to use the name Bethany for their baby. He was exhausted, but found the scene comforting so he waited in the doorway while they fought.
Draco noticed him first, followed by Blaise, and they called him in to intercede. He let Blaise drag him over to the sofa, near the chair where Draco sat reading a book on special potions for children. The blond looked relaxed and aloof, but the fact that he had chosen this book told Harry more than his posture.
“So, are you going to tell us what happened?” Blaise drilled and Harry sighed before conceding.
“I went to see Hagrid, you know that. But, I didn't realize that he had such a big problem. See, it started with Pegasus. . .” and his story began.
After leaving the unicorn glade, Harry and Bradley had made their way toward the Centaur grove. Bradley left him, just before they arrived, so that he could meld with the herd and be ready when Harry gave the signal.
Magorian was big. The largest Centaur Harry had ever seen, outside of Alluvian's court. The leader of the Centaurs was a black stallion with a white crest across his forehead, shaped like a pentagram. He saw Harry coming and stomped forward in warning.
Harry continued on, not afraid of the big male, even though his size was a bit daunting. He knew that his weapon was a formidable one, even if he had never tried to use it. Magorian sized him up, glaring at him for daring to enter the Centaur territory without his leave.
“What have you come here for, Harry Potter?” Harry had to admit he was impressed by the audacity of the stallion, just naming him got the attention of most of the herd. Harry spotted Bradley, near the rear of the grove quite distant from Firenze, who stood near a smaller male with an angelic face smeared with tear stains.
“I've come to find my mates.” Harry stated, quite simply without emphasis or inflection. “I believe they are among your herd.”
“There are no mates for you here. Why did we not recognize your creature when you visited the forest before?”
“Because, I am not a Centaur.” Harry proclaimed.
“Oh? A unicorn, perhaps?” Magorian sneered.
“Nope. Good guess, though. You see, from what I understand, when I find my mates, they will bear me unicorns, or Pegasus, in some cases.”
“But, you said you weren't . . .” Firenze spoke from near his son, for that had to be who he was comforting.
“Not Centaur, not Unicorn, but more. I am much, much more.” Harry still spoke softly, but as he spoke, he rose, stretched and soon towered over them, a glorious black Sphynx, with deep green eyes. The herd moved back and Harry shrank back down, shaking out his head as his tail hissed and his paws scraped the ground. His goat head shot a stream of fire above their heads, and many ducked down to avoid being singed.
“It's impossible . . .” Firenze said while Magoran moved to intercept his herd, keeping between them and the intruding beast. Harry laughed, dropping down to do a jig on his faun legs, prancing lightly before stretching up to extend his heads, three of them, on the ends of snake like necks that rose from his shoulders and hissed at the black stallion.
“You are not Centaur, so you should look elsewhere for your mates.” Magorian growled, but Harry only shifted back, returning to Centaur form, with the inclusion of the single horn on his forehead.
“And I tell you, Centaur, that I am searching, and I will not stop until I find my mates. You cannot keep them from me.”
“We are not interested in your search. We do not want your kind in our herd. Begone, Chameleon, and keep your taint to yourself.”
“I have already claimed from your herd, Stallion. Give me what is mine, and I will leave you what I have not chosen, or try to keep my mate and I will take from you until you are the last, and then I will take you.” Harry stretched some more, rising to a height that equaled the other stallion, surveying the herd and smiling.
“It was you?” Magorian gasped, his eyes flickering to where Puck stood with his father. “No! This is my herd.”
“Test me, then. Fine. Come to me . . . . You!” Harry said, pointing toward Bradley and watching his eyes go distant and his hooves move forward. It took seconds for him to reach Harry, but every eye was on him. “And you.” Harry put one arm around Bradley's shoulders as he pointed again, this time near where Firenze stood.
The herd froze, not knowing who this strange creature was calling, but frightened that they would be next. A chestnut male, smaller than Puck, and too young to be more than Jimmy Peakes' age, stepped forward, frightened and curious, at the same time. Firenze grabbed the colt, pushed him back and cantered forward, bending down until his head was against Harry's chest.
The effect was staggering, as Centaurs cursed and cried, called and pranced around, nearly stampeding in every direction. Magorian was livid, but he could feel something around him, a calling, an acceptance, a drive. He wanted to burst forward and drag his herd members away from the Chameleonis, but something held him back. Harry smiled as he pet the two closest to him, his shoulders back and head held high.
“You will lose them all, Stallion. Is that worth keeping me from my mates?”
“No. Do not take them from me. This is my herd.” Magorian shouted even as he felt like kicking himself for his own words. “Take the young one, take his father, but leave me the rest.”
“I need only my mates. I take this one, and that one, and will go unimpeded.” Harry released Firenze, pointing to Puck while still holding on to Bradley's shoulders. He watched as the older male stepped back, his face down in a look of rejection, that was negated by the smile that pulled at the corners of his mouth.
Puck stepped up, drawn toward this new male by an unseen force and unable to stop himself. He hoped this Stallion would be kind to his child, if not for himself, but for Adrian. He thought he would jump when the stallion put an arm around his shoulders, but found himself calmed by it instead. Soon, they were walking out of the grove, heading for the other side of the forest, where the Unicorn glade was.
Harry didn't know how he kept up, the strain of emitting the pheromones was more exhausting then he had expected, and when they reached the glade, he nearly collapsed onto the ground. The unicorns swarmed around him and the two with him, pawing and rearing up, closing in and blocking them from anything outside of their circle.
Grawp watched as Harry staggered and put a huge hand out, bracing the Chamelonis with it. “Da?” he said and Harry smiled up at him. “Da.” Grawp repeated, this time with a smile.
Bradley cantered out of the group, finding a clear area to leap into the sky. Puck turned and watched with fascination as the rogue centaur was cradled by the giant.
“He's gone to get Adrian. Just stay here and you'll be safe.” Harry said as he changed back into his human form and Grawp carried him toward the trees. “Take me to Hagrid, Grawp.” Harry added and the giant pushed his way through the trees and into the forest, again.
“And now, I'm home. Alluvian sent Bradley to give me a message before I left Hagrid's. He said, search your heart: the thing you desire is in the place you call home. I've decided that I don't care for equine breeds much. Too poetic and cryptic for my tastes.”
“But, equines, Harry. There's more to it than talking. Did you really change in all ways?” Blaise raised his eyebrows in a suggestive move and Harry rolled his own.
“Is that all you can think about, Blaise? If I was more endowed in that form?”
“Just saying . . . .”
“Merlin, Zabini. Don't you get enough?” Draco sneered as the rest of the mates started murmuring about Harry's equipment and the possibilities. “Just what Potter needs, a horse cock!”
Harry smiled and pushed to his feet. He needed a shower, and something to eat, but first he had something else to attend to. He rubbed his hands together and looked around. “So, who has a guess about the Unicorn riddle? No one? Fine, if you get any ideas, let me know. Right now, I need to talk to you, in private.” and he grabbed Draco's arm and pulled him to his feet, taking the book and tossing it onto the coffee table. “See the rest of you at dinner.” and he led the blond into the halls.
Draco wasn't sure why he followed, his surprise probably. The embarrassment of what the rest would assume was enough to make him balk, but he wasn't. He followed to the room that had been designated as Harry's and stood with his arms crossed when the Chameleonis began to strip off his vest and shirt.
“What is this about, Potter?”
“Harry, remember?”
“What is this about, Harry?” Draco amended.
“It's about a foot long and the size of a summer sausage.” Harry quipped and Draco sneered.
“Bit over sure of yourself, aren't you?”
“Well, you could measure it for me, but that will wait. Right now, I need you.” Harry had kicked off his shoes and socks before he turned and wrapped his arms around Draco's waist. “You saying you aren't interested?” he held tight, lifting the blond off the floor as he rose, gaining height and chest circumference as he transformed into the big stallion from the grove.
“Merlin, you're huge.” Draco gasped and Harry lowered him, converting his lower half back into human, but maintaining his chest and arm musculature. “Don't . . . don't stop,” Draco hissed as his arms sized up his mate.
“First, we need to get you out of this robe.” Harry began to peel the layers off of his Veela, starting with the creamy white robes and down to the petal pink boxers. Once Draco was naked, he lifted him again, kissing his mate as he shifted his form only enough to carry his lover to the bed and lay him out.
On the bed, Harry kissed and licked, sucked and nipped, searching out all of the spots that melted the Malfoy armor and made his mate more pliable. He managed to prep the blond without complaints and was now perched at the ready, prepared to enter the velvet bliss of his Veela love. “I'll start like usual, and then change slowly. Tell me if it's too much.” he whispered, trusting Draco to do so.
It was brilliant, sinking into the soft cavern of his lover, feeling Draco react to his body, to his kisses and touches, to the feel of Harry inside him, but as he settled inside, fully sheathed, he waited for the sign that Draco was ready.
“If you don't move, I will hex your bits off.” Draco snarked and Harry laughed into his shoulder. He pulled back, sliding out and feeling the blond's body pull at him, not wanting to let him out. He thrust in, pulled out and breathed in the scent of his moody lover, just enough to assure him that it was a good time to change.
He made the change slowly, swelling just until Draco gasped, then pumping in and out a few times before transforming some more. It felt like an eternity, but that was fine. He didn't want to stop, not while it felt so good, so slow was fine. He was getting close to full centaur size when Draco winced, and he stopped and lifted up on his arms, looking down at the pale beauty that was his.
“You okay?” he asked.
“I will be. Tell me you're almost done.”
“Almost. Can you take some more?”
“Oh, shit. How much?”
“This is fine.” Harry wasn't disappointed, just surprised that the blond would admit defeat.
“Nope. Keep going.” Draco gasped and Harry smiled.
“Just a bit more.” he assured his mate, concentrating and letting the change happen, gradually, slowly, but oh so wonderfully. When he was there, he put one hand along Draco's cheek, wiping away a stray tear and holding very still. His shoulders ached from the strain of staying so, but it was worth it when Draco's eyes opened and his hips shifted, just a tiny bit.
“So full, so big.” he sighed and Harry knew what he meant. It was tight, amazingly, to be inside of the blond, and his body wanted to move, but not until he was sure he wouldn't hurt his lover.
“I love you, Draco. You are wonderful.” Harry praised and Draco rolled his eyes, just a bit more sarcastically than in bliss, but it got the message across. Harry shifted back, rolled his hips and drove in.
“Fucking Merlin!” Draco shouted, his fingers scrabbling along Harry's shoulders as he tried to hold on, tried to get a footing or tried to push the other wizard away. It didn't matter because it felt so good. “Oh, Harry! Yes, Shit! Move. Move more.”
Harry took orders, when they made so much sense, and he began to lift farther out and drive deeper in. He pumped faster, harder, longer, and Draco met him, thrust for thrust. It was too glorious, too sensuous, so wouldn't, couldn't last, and Harry held back just a bit, too keep it going, longer, more, greater.
One shift, to lower his belly onto Draco's, angled him just right so that his cock brushed along Draco's prostate nearly half its length and Draco was trapped between them, squeezed by Harry's abdominal pack and pressed onto his own belly. The sensation of the two surfaces rubbing in different directions was enough to send him over, and the stroking of his internal sex pushed him past his limits. He cried out, calling Harry's name along with a few other expletives and coating their bellies with the proof of his orgasm.
As tight as it was, the added tension of Draco's body clamping down through his climax was all Harry could take, and just before he came, he looked over Draco's shoulder to see a blinking eye floating over his water glass on the nightstand. “Shit!” he cried, grabbing the eye like a snitch as he came inside of the blond. “Oh, Fuck, Draco! God, you are perfect.”
In the sitting room, Blaise leaned over the end of the couch as Seamus sat on the floor and Cedric lounged to the right. Susan glared from behind them where Luna and Oliver stood back, though not without a good view of the hovering projection.
Just as the blond cried out, the image went blank and the group in front shouted in frustration.
“I told you not to do it, Blaise. He knows. He knows, and you are so in trouble.” Susan said with a sneer before heading into her room, not wanting to be around when Harry came out. Oliver and Luna followed, whispering together as they turned toward their room, but softly enough that Susan didn't hear their words.
Blaise waved his wand, banishing the empty screen and grabbing a magazine from the table beneath it. “I was sure it would work. He couldn't know. He might suspect, but he couldn't know.”
“And if he does? He'll be mad, Blaise.” Seamus said, getting up and reaching for Cedric's hand. “If he asks, I'm telling him it was your idea.”
“Hey, you watched, too.” Blaise shouted. “You all watched.”
“And the twins are gonna be mad that you used one of their pranks without telling them, too.” Cedric announced as Shea led him toward the halls. It was their turn to check on the babies, so this was a good time to do that and be out of the room when Harry came back.
“He couldn't know.” Blaise said with a sigh. “And if he does, what could he do, anyway.”
