Dear Lidia-
I miss you. I don’t know how else to say that, school is great and I am getting good grades, as usual, but I can’t wait until Christmas to see you again. I’m not having much luck with finding a woman that catches my interest...there is just no one as amazing as you are. But you knew that, right? I really enjoyed the journal-like day-by-day you sent to me and that letter from your friend Remus was awesome. He’s really smart and I look forward to meeting him at Christmas also, you are bringing him right?
I am a little concerned about Scorpius Malfoy being there, apparently his father isn’t just mad at him. I made some inquires at Hogwarts and according to a conversation that James overheard between Mrs. Malfoy and the Headmistress his father is talking about disowning him. His mother’s real upset just like any mother would be given that situation. Just throwing this out there...but I don’t think he has anywhere to spend the holiday, just letting you know.
I have to go now because my roommate is getting annoyed with my light and is yelling at me in French about turning it off. However, I’m not entirely sure that is what he’s saying because my French is rusty so he could be trying to sell me a goat. I miss you, can’t wait to see you in a month or so, I’m counting.

Lidia shook her head and raised her eyes to find Natasha standing in front of the portrait of Snape, they were having a staring contest, again. It was immature but it kept her quiet for a few minutes so she would put up with anything for these moments of bliss. Neither was blinking and she could see the tears of strain forming in Natasha’s eyes, suddenly she lifted her shirt and bra showing her breasts to the man in the frame. Snape looked down and blinked making the Russian woman whoop in triumph jumping up and down a few times before pulling her shirt and bra back down.
“Totally worth the loss” Snape said “Totally worth it”
“If you were alive” Natasha told him “I would let you touch them” She shook her breasts at him and he groaned.
“Damn it!” He complained “Lidia...dig me up...revive me!”
“You would be nothing but bones” She informed him.
“You have no idea” He answered with a flirty smile which made both girls laugh. Lidia opened the next envelope that was awaiting her ignoring her roommate that was listening to the once-Professor trying to convince her to rub her breasts against the portrait.
Dearest Lidia-
I miss you. I know that over the summer we had our issues, that I acted uncontrollable and stupid but I assure you that I have changed. I was scared about you leaving for America and worried that you would find someone new, someone that was close to you. Please tell me this hasn’t happened already, I know that you are an amazing woman that can attract anyone. Please, tell me there is still a chance for us to get back together, I forgive you for what happened with Severus if you can forgive me for the French girl. I love you.

The door opening caught her attention when she got to the end of the letter and Remus and Scorpius walked in to the room. They were going to be heading over to the meeting of the Paranormal group to find out where they would be researching and at the end of the month investigating. Scorpius smirked at her and flicked her nose as he walked by and she wiggled her fingers at him. She didn’t burn anything but it was amusing to watch him grab different parts of his body to make sure they weren’t bared to the room. Remus closed the door and leaned back against it, he smiled at her and looked over her outfit and caught himself actually enjoying the view. He cleared his throat uncomfortably and looked over to where Natasha and Scorpius were now dirty dancing to a song on the magically enhanced radio.
“Why don’t you two just date already?” Remus asked, Scorpius was his roommate and the last few weeks he’d seen more than half (he may be exaggerating a little) of the female population in the blonds bed.
“I do not date” Natasha told Remus then looked him up and down with a flirty smile “I only have sex. Scorpius and I have already done that, now we have fun as friends sometimes with benefits...if wasn’t so sure that you and Lidia were dating I would offer the same to you, Remus”
“We are not dating” He assured her “But I am not interested in being friends with benefits”
“You are not dating now” Natasha said “But I see how you look at each other, there is passion there, something animalistic about the way you act around one another...it will bubble over at some point”
“No...” He started but she had lifted Kale’s letter from the desk.
“Ah” She grinned “Your old boyfriend is interested in patching things up” She picked up the other letter “And this Severus, he seems to like a lot...he was the one you fucked in your seventh year, yes?”
“Yes” Lidia answered with a blush “But were just friends” She added in quickly.
“Does he know that?” Natasha asked with a raised eyebrow, she cut her eyes towards the door where Remus was standing when there was a strange sort of growling coming from him “I think I shall write to this Severus, he sounds...fun”

Lidia sat in her Potions class with her cauldron in front of her. Her book was on her left open to the page that she needed, this was one of the few classes that she didn’t have with Scorpius however she did have it with Natasha and another one of her friends Lanni Farren. Lanni was majoring in Potions/Charms as well and even though she now knew everything about what Lidia’s father had done in New York all those years ago...she didn’t care. She told her the day after the class had taken place that what ones father does in the past does not dictate what the child will do. Then they agreed that it may look bad that she was taking a Leadership class. Over the last few weeks Lidia learned that Lanni was a muggleborn and her father (muggle) had murdered her mother, aunt and grandparents because of the magic in their blood when she was thirteen. She had been at a friends home when it happened and when she got home later that night he had gone after her, she still had long scars on her arms from where he had attempted to bleed the magic out of her. She confided in Lidia that she still had nightmares about that night.
“Finally” Natasha muttered as the class ended and they were cleaning up for the weekend “I thought this class would never end” She smiled “Are you sending a letter to your friend Severus soon?”
“I am” She said “Why?”
“I have a letter for him” She said holding out a piece of parchment in her hand “You can read it, I promise I didn’t say anything naughty”
“Okay” Lidia said taking the letter and smiled “I have to stop by Professor B.’s class before I go back to the dorm so I can hand something in”
“Have fun” She said as she walked away with Lanni. Lidia waited until she was out of sight as she walked up the stairs and down the hall towards the classroom she needed to go to. She opened the letter.
Dear Severus-
You don’t know me but I am Natasha, Lidia’s roommate. I am from Russia and I know how hard it can be to be in a new country, I’ve never been to America and I have to say that it must be terrible where you don’t know the language. I have an upper hand as my father was American and he taught me the language. Now my biggest problem is that my accent is so strong that it makes it hard for others to understand me, I was lucky to be put in a room with Lidia as she is very good at understanding me.
She has told me a little bit about you. She said that you were very smart and hard to keep up with in school, what is it that you are studying in Italy? I have been there many times and have enclosed a list of educational places to go to there that you may like. Like I said before, I know how it feels to feel like a fish out of water. Feel free to write back.

Lidia smirked, she knew that underneath it all Natasha was a normal person. Someone that was sexual and horny had to have something hidden underneath, she wouldn’t share much of her past though. From what Lidia had put together Natasha had been raised by parents that were either not there or didn’t care about her. It was sad. She dropped the paperwork off on the professors desk and then went to her dorm room when Natasha was awaiting her arrival.
“Did you read the note?” She asked “I was waiting for you to come back so I could ask if it was too stupid to send”
“It was perfect” She answered “He’ll love it”
“Good” She looked at the bedspread “So, on Halloween you, me, Scorpius and Remus will be spending the night in Greeter Hall”
“Investigating the ghosts that are supposedly there” Lidia said “Then there is another month of classes and then going home for the holidays”
“I’ll be staying here” Natasha said with a sad grin “But you have fun”
“Why aren’t you going home?” Lidia asked.
“No reason” She smiled then went back to what she had been talking about earlier. It was a few days later when Lidia was talking to Snape while Natasha was in class that she learned the truth about why she wouldn’t be going home.
“Why would she tell you?” Lidia asked after he dangled the bait in her face for a while “Why not me?”
“I don’t know, maybe because I am merely ink and paint not a real person that may actually feel protective of her” He said “But no matter what, she told me”
“What’s the reason” She asked “Tell me, please I don’t want to say something that may set her off someday. Why isn’t she going home?”
“Because” Snape told her sadly “She doesn’t have one, Natasha was homeless and has been since she was twelve”
A/N: Hope this was good, I wanted people to understand Natasha more. Now she did go to a witch/wizard school but in the summer she was homeless, it will be explained in the next chapter.
