Hello everyone, to clear up some confusion. I am going based off the last book (excluding the epilogue because it was retarded) So Snape died in the war as was written by the book. You will just have to read along to figure out how I have decided to change this.
Much love ~ Emmaria~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
At lunch the whole school was abuzz with gossip as theories as to why Professor Snape was alive flew around the room. The last time he had been seen was when Nagini ripped forcefully into his neck. Harry had collected his memories and had proved innocence to the wizarding world. The Order of the Phoenix had even had an elaborate funeral for him. So then why was he here, alive and appearing to have not changed at all? It was as if the last two years had not happened for Snape. He was back to his snarky self; having deducted 150 house points before lunch even started.
Hermione, Harry, Ginny and Ron had their heads together at the table whispering theories to each other. The entire great hall looked similar. McGonagall sat up at the head table and was deep in conversation with Madam Pomfrey about what the emergency responses would be for Quidditch this year to increase response time should there be an injury. Suddenly all the candles in the great hall blew out and all the students and teachers froze. McGonagall was just about to stand up when the door behind the head table opened with a bang and in walked Severus Snape. He grumbled something about the lack of lights, flicked his wrist and all the candles re-lit. He moved over to the chair assigned to the potions professor, sat down and tucked into his food without a glance towards anything. The teachers returned to their activities with no apparent concern that Severus Snape had just walked in. They all apparently knew that he was on staff and was very much alive because it did not faze them in the least. The entire student body however just stared in shock. Some student cried, some paled, but most just looked shocked that he was really there. Ginny leaned over to Hermione and whispered “I feel like he is enjoying shocking everyone with his dramatic entrances.” Hermione just nodded her head, she couldn’t understand what was wrong with her, she seemed to be in a trance, just staring at him. She was suddenly broken out of her stupor when McGonagall stood up and harshly announced “Students, please return to your activities and stop gawking at Professor Snape as rudely as you are. He has chosen to not explain his reappearance to you all, and so you should not ponder on the matter anymore. Return to your food or we will dismiss lunch and you can eat again as supper.”All the students slowly returned to their food and conversations. Hermione however glanced back at the head table. She paled and let out a small gasp, for there staring back at her was the dark onyx eyes from her dream. Snape had locked eyes with her. She could swear that he had paled as well upon making eye contact with her. He broke contact just as fast as he had made it. Hermione was trembling slightly, she was shaken that much was true. What could this mean? “Ginny, I need to talk to you during our break after lunch, please meet me in the room of requirement.” Hermione had a pleading look in her eyes, as she stood up to exit the great hall. “Please?” “Sure,” Ginny replied. “I will be there”
Hermione hastily made her way to the great hall. It took her longer to get into it because her mind was jumbled with confusing thoughts. She finally had to slow herself down long enough to focus and make the door show up. Once in the room she looked around. The room had created a window seat big enough for 2-3 people to sleep on overlooking the great lake. The plush pillows were cozy as Hermione sat down. She sighed as she looked out at the lake. “I don’t understand why this affects me so much, I have no connection to him. I need to get over this so I can focus on my grades!” She basically shouted to the air. She was so frustrated. These dreams had started to occur every day the past week. They had all been experiencing horrible dreams following the war, but these were sad. Suddenly there was a soft knock on the door. “Come in” Hermione said.“What’s wrong?” Ginny asked, she looked worried. She had noticed that Hermione had been having trouble sleeping lately, but didn’t want to push too hard on her best friend. She knew that when she was ready she would ask. “I don’t even know where to start” she said to Ginny who had climbed up on the seat and was snuggling a pillow. “About 4 weeks ago I had this dream for the first time. It was about this man who had the deepest Onyx eyes, he was intelligent, loving and passionate. In the dreams I was in love with him. We had this connection that was unlike any I had ever had. They were nice at first and helped release the horrible dreams from the war that I had been having. These dreams continued about once a week for the next 2 weeks, but then this week I have had the dream 4 or 5 nights in a row. Except now they are different. In these dreams we have to save the school from something horrible. It’s an older man, I can tell you that much because in my dream today I told him that no one could find out about us until the problem we were fighting was over. It was horrible because in my dream I was stressed about solving a way to destroy what was threatening the school but I was falling short and at the end of my ideas. In these dreams people were dying, it was horrible because it was people I love.” Hermione paused and looked at Ginny “You are my best friend, and in my dreams you get hurt, I can’t let that happen.” Hermione began to cry and Ginny hugged her close. “Hermione they are just dreams, it won’t come true, I promise they are just residual thoughts left over from the war.” “That’s what I thought also, until today.”
Ginny looked up at Hermione’s face which had suddenly gotten serious. “It was Professor Snape”. “What?” Ginny replied confused at what Hermione was saying. “It was professor Snape that was in my dreams. It’s his eyes, I would recognize them anywhere and when he looked at me today at lunch I knew. He seemed to know also because I swore he paled when he recognized me.” “What can this mean?” Ginny said. She looked concerned now at this revelation. “I don’t know, but I am leery to find out.”
