This is chapter I of III. The characters kept on whispering in my ear to tell their story. Different pairing, same theme and world as chapter 1 and 2.Chapter I.
Grey light eyes, platinum blond hair. Ego inflated like a hot air balloon, insufferably good looking; Scorpius Malfoy.Rose Weasley; a red mane neatly hanging in ringlets around her shoulders. Green emeralds shooting fire, how could green eyes shoot flames, was beyond him but Rose could somehow. Sultry lips they looked highly kissable. Daughter of two parts of the Golden Trio, new upper class. Creamy be-freckled skin, haughty, smart. Part of the Potter- Weasley clan. Unapproachable. Fear inducing.
Nope! Wouldn't touch her even when she threw herself at him; he was sure about that. Tons of girls at his beck and call; no one like her unfortunately, fiery, intelligent, killer-body. 'Aaaargh, a right temptress!' If only she could be separated from the herd, or rather James Potter and consorts. Something about that family sat not right with him. They were too tight-knit it was unhealthy.
"Rose?" A voice said beside her. Rose absentmindedly, humming "mmyess?"
"You're staring again; it's starting to get obvious!" The voice sniggered. The fiery girl next to him was so obvious, about her infatuation; d'object desire didn't give her the time of day.
"Well, can you blame me?" Rose asked, turning her attention towards the voice.
Mop of black hair, angular features, and green eyes, so different from hers. His were a lighter variant. His jaw strong, white teeth and straight, and his lips.... Well those lips... belonging to her cousin James. As in James Sirius Potter. The oldest of the Weasley/Potter tribe currently residing at Hogwarts. A few had graduated, many more where still here, third generation coming shortly into the fold.
"Not sure if I want to blame you for anything as of yet, my gorgeous." He touched the tip of her nose with his index finger. He loved this one dearly; she was a menace to anyone besides the brood. As their family was often referred to. They kept things in the family, only venturing out to hunt for new blood, or rather additions to the family.
James knew the redhead loathed the Malfoy kid, he was a haughty smug bastard, like her, well except for the bastard thing that was. James was well aware, Rose was a sought after prize to many of the males residing at Hogwarts, none of them daring to come close to her, in fear of her ripping them too shreds. They should only know how close to the truth they would come with that one. She was as dangerous as they came, her bite was fearsome, and ripping apart was an understatement to be frank. He had watched her make her kills; she did her appearance justice, a lovely sweet redhead, if only....
"Maybe we can talk some later in my room!" The brave Gryffindor told her. Rose rolled her eyes; talk, as if.... He would tell her to take him, he always did, tell her what to do. It was his forte keeping younger family members in line; initiate them if necessary into the family business.
Rose sighed, nodding yes at his order; she would meet him later in his room. An audience with his highness James Sirius Potter II. Rose nibbled some more on her bacon sarnie, ah yes, lunch, that's right the timetable she was on, oh and a Saturday.... Hogsmeade visit day.... Oh, goodies no date in sight, she would venture out with her female family members. She so wished she had someone to snog, or keep her warm in any way. It being wintery and snowy, one of the fiercest snowstorm in ages swept over Scotland.
Rose dragged herself to the Gryffindor tower, up to the boy’s dormitory in particular, the seventh year’s room, the one James was residing in. Rose righted her back and shoulders, she could face James, she really could she gave a curt rap on the door. "Enter!" The voice stated.
"Rose, which shop do you want to visit?" Lily's cheery voice, made Rose feel even heavier. Her cousin hung on her arm as they made their way towards the village; Roxy, Dominique and little Lucy accompanied them. Three redheads, a blonde and a caramel colored, headed toward the picture postcard snowy village. Followed closely by their male cousins, guarding their precious blood bonds, the girls were no to be messed with. Rose glanced back at her raven-haired older cousin he looked sternly at her. Rose turned back with a snap; she fumed inwardly at what James had ordered her to do.
"I need to go to Tomes and Scrolls, Honeydukes and Pippin Potions, sweet cousin!" Rose answered her favorite bubbly cousin.
"Oh, yeah, Honeydukes, will you get me some chocolate cauldrons?" Lily pleaded. The chocolates were filled with liqueur and James would never allow his little sister to buy them. Rose and she had a pact; Rose bought them and supplied them to Lily.
"Can I pull in a favor, my sweetest cousin...?" Rose said somewhat conspiratorially.
"Ooh, do we have a secret Rose?" Lily tried not to squeal.
"Yes, well, I need to go to the Hogshead; can you distract James after visiting Pippins Potions?" She leaned over to Lily as pulled in her favor.
"Of course I can! Are you meeting a boy?" Lily asked innocently. She so loved secrets and being in the know.
"Uh, well sort off..." Rose glanced over her shoulder, James was busy talking to Louis and didn't seem to be paying attention to his sister and cousin's whispering.
They were leisurely strolling down to Hogwarts as a group of Slytherins briskly striding past them. Scorpius Malfoy and consorts, they were bantering, throwing snowballs, Scorpius being the only one who didn't participate. He observed his fellow housemates with a glint in his eyes. Malfoy's didn't engage in such activities. His regal features making him seem untouchable.
Rose watched the pack halt in front of them and stop; they found a fresh pile of snow. Snowballs flew around them without hitting the Potters/Weasleys, James had cast a preventative bubble around them, and he didn't want the girls to be snowballed.
"Potter!" Scorpius nodded with curt towards James.
"Malfoy!" James answered him with mutual, respect-contempt. Rose wasn't sure. Both boys had always had some sort of mutual agreement amongst each other. James was keeper of Gryffindor House, especially the Potter/Weasleys; and Scorpius, ringleader of the Slytherins, it went without saying. No obvious rivalry, the houses just kept to themselves. Rose glanced over at the austere blond, the feeling in the pit of her stomach made her feel heat rise to the root of her hair. Scorpius seemingly didn't notice but a faint smirk adorned his lips. His thumb caressing his lower lip to wipe away a smudge, his eyes darkened as his eyes rested on the fiery red. Turning his head just as she caught his gaze. Looking sternly ahead, nothing rattled his cage.
Scorpius nudged his troop to move forward he had business to attend to; it couldn't really wait. He was eager to get his meeting done and dusted; he received an anonymous note requesting his presence. He would normally not go to such a request, but this one felt urgent, needy. It made him curious at best. He would duck out of the fan girls flocking around him, he so hated them. Airheads who wanted him for his name and looks, he wasn't into false pretense; it was obvious he had good looks. He and the raven-haired boy where the most sought after males currently residing at Hogwarts. Closely followed by the younger brother, a blond and a red haired cousin. But for now, they were the bee’s knees.
Rose, Lily and the other cousins arrived at Honeydukes. Rose found the cauldrons, Lily requested. She liked her chocolate infused with chili peppers, sweet with a tad of danger laced through it, she liked her stuff like that, seemingly innocent with a dangerous core.
Rose and Lily where heavily scrutinized by James, he watched them like a hawk. Rose pulled her robes tightly around her, now would be best. The shop filled with all sorts of materials for brewing potions was one of her favorite. Pippins Potions, the smell reminded her of the classroom in the dungeons, she could immerse herself fully in her academic endeavors; seeing ingredients attach their molecules together into manageable potions, she loved to watch the process, finding ways to treat ingredients enhancing their magical agents to the fullest. "Now, would be fine, Lil's" Rose whispered to her smaller cousin.
Lily knocked over a cabinet with ingredients, James rushed over, and helping her clean the mess, she’d made of the liquid ingredients aisle.
Lily turned around, smashing into James knocking him over, he tried to save her from hitting her head on another cabinet filled with sharp tools.
Rose slipped away unnoticed, the back entrance concealed by a heavy drape left unguarded. The shop inventory was protected against theft. Rose found herself in an abandoned alleyway, she pulled her hood over her head, she didn't want anyone to see her without her companions, and it wouldn't go unnoticed if she were.
The snow hadn't been trampled on as much as on the main streets, Rose lifted her robe as not to stumble over it and fall inadvertently to the ground. She was grateful for Lily helping her even when James himself had set it up; they had to pretend he was watching them like a hawk. He himself had ordered her to follow this line of action, venturing out by herself; he wouldn't lose face, allowing her to go off on her own.
Rose checked her face in her compact, adding some pale rosy coloured gloss to her lips, smacking them together. It would have to do. She had a lot to offer to the person that she had her rendezvous with. But it had to seem she made some kind of effort.
Rose walked into a more obscure part of Hogsmeade, she saw no students roaming the streets. It was almost abandoned; save for some unsavoury types, their stares followed her as she walked the streets briskly. She felt elated, the creatures didn't bother her, they wouldn't touch her, and she gave off a dangerous scent.
Rose neared the Hogshead an obscure establishment filled with obscure characters, Rose had requested they meet at the back; she didn't for want others to know her business. She headed towards the counter, asking for two butter-beers and two fire whiskeys; asking if they could be delivered at the furthest booth, handing over a few knuts and sickles.
Rose neared the booth, her heart thudding in her chest, "Hi, thanks for meeting me!" She said at the familiar face. The boy scowled at her, she was the last one he expected to meet here.
