There was a knock at the door of the hotel room. Severus rolled out of the bed. It had been a long day at Disneyland. He wondered who would be disturbing him on his vacation. When he opened the door there was a man in a suit “Are you Mr Severus Snape?”
“I am what is the meaning of disturbing me at this hour?” Severus was not happy about the man's appearance that evening
“I apologize for disturbing you sir but I have an urgent message from a Mr Lucius Malfoy sir” The messenger looked very nervous. He handed Severus the message. Severus tipped the young man and sent him on his way.
Severus read the message. “What have you gotten yourself into Lucius?”
Las Vegas
Sept. 22, 9:00am
Harry woke up to a pounding at the door. It took him a while to realize where he was. When the pounding continued he heard Jeanie's muffled voice from underneath a pillow “Doughnut tell them to go away” Harry gets out of bed, pulls on a pair of pants and opens the door. On the other side of the door were Jeanie's 2 best friends and cousins Sabrina Kyle and Samantha Jones better known as Bri and Sammy respectively. Bri was 6'2”. she was the tallest of the group. She had a caramel complexion and almond shaped eyes that were golden with silver flecks which rounded out her exotic look.
Sammy was the shortest of her friends at 5'11”. Her skin was golden. Her eyes were large round, and icy blue. Her hair was inky black. Bri smiled when she saw Harry “Duncan when did you get into the country? Jeanie normally tells us when you're coming”
Harry let the women in “How many times do I have to tell you not to call me Duncan?” It frustrated Harry. The girls stated calling him that because they swore he was an immortal, like the Highlander.
Sammy smiles “You really expect us to believe you're not an immortal Duncan, when you survived two killing curses?”
“They would have called you Connor, but since that's my brother's name it would have been weird besides you don't mind me calling you Duncan Doughnut” Jeanie walked into the sitting area and hugged the 2 women. Together the 3 made an amazing picture. All three were tall Jeanie being 6'1”. They all had toned bodies, wide hips, and a generous amount of hair on their heads and not much hair elsewhere on there bodies. Growing up the 3 were called the Amazons because of their abnormal height and strength. Although the name was a joke in actuality they were descendants of the Amazonian tribe. They were cousins sharing a maternal grandmother. Their mothers were triplets. Amazonian women always found the strongest mate possible and once she had a child with a man she would become barren to all others. No one knew why but the first child was always a female and unless the first was twins or triplets she would only have one female child.
“Woman you better have a good reason for calling me and Sammy to Vegas. I thought you were going to spend time with the little cousin” That being what they called Hermione.
“I was but she has inspired me. I need you and Sammy's help more specifically Sammy's since she's married” There was only one reason to call on the help of a married Amazon. The 2 women looked at Jeanie to explain “Mimi got married. I'll explain that to you later. Now I need Sammy to explain the histories to Harry”
“Are you sure it's a big step” Bri asked
Jeanie smiled “I've been sure since the day we started dating”
Harry was confused and he had no clue what they were talking about. Sammy turned to Harry drawing her wand “I Samantha Katarina Olgseby-Jones Have been requested by Norma-Jean Anastasia Granger to explain the histories of the Amazon to you Harry James Potter. I say that I will explain the histories and explain what this ritual means all will be revealed Raskryt' Proshlye” as the last word left her mouth a silvery mist came from her wand and formed a kind of a projection screen. She began to speak again, and images started to form in the mist “Long ago on the Steppe where you would call western Russia. There was a tribe of warriors. These warriors protected the nomadic tribes of the area from other tribes who wanted to use the grazing lands. The nomads in return would feed the warriors. This tribe was made up of all women. The Greek called them Amazons and as time went on they adopted the name. The women were much taller and stronger than even the men in the area. The warrior women did marry and have children the selection of a husband an important ritual. An Amazon must only marry a man who beats them in battle. In olden times these would be mock battles and if a man was unable to beat an Amazon he would be banished from the amazon lands. Once the two are bonded it's for life. For 1,000 years it was so. The Amazons one day were visited by a group of wizards. Every wizard was able to beat the amazons using magic so each wizard took an Amazon bride Within 2 generations all the amazons were witches. Something about the Amazonian line interacted with magic and made an amazon only carry a female child once. The magic of an amazon was too strong”
“You Harry James Potter having bested an amazon and being told of the histories I have a question for you. Are you ready to claim your amazon mate? Sammy waved her wand in a zigzag pattern the silvery mist started to swirl “If you claim her step into the mist of bounding.”
At first Harry just stood there. He and Jeanie had gotten engaged more than a year ago. She had put off planning a date she always said there were things, traditions, that needed to be observed. Harry guessed that this was one of them. He stepped into the mist and Jeanie joined him. The mist was warm. It smelled of cedar and vanilla a scent he thought of as Jeanie. The mist swirled higher and started to change color. Now a shimmery blue, the mist entered up their nostrils. A warm sensation traveled through their bodies that made them sigh. In the sigh the mist came out of their mouths a green colored one from Harry, and a golden one from Jeanie. Blue, green, and gold swirled together between the two. Suddenly the mist stopped and split. It seeped in to their skin. Harry was a little dazed, but he felt amazing; stronger, more powerful, more stamina. “What just happened? If I would have known we were doing something important I would have put a shirt on.”
“It wouldn't have worked with your shirt on your heart needed to be exposed. And that sir was the Amazonian Bonding ritual now you are free to get married. No amazon would get married before performing this ritual. You can have kids now without any adverse affects. We have it so that the father can protect the mother during the first pregnancy because the amazon magical core is so strong that the two will clash when mother is carrying daughter” Bri explains
“It's why my mom has those weird magical flares sometimes because it was months after I was conceived that the bonding was performed. The ritual is also the reason my dad can do some magic even though he's a muggle, because he gained some of her magical ability.” Jeanie smiled at Harry “And I have some news to tell you. I have applied for a position at the American embassy and I was accepted I also have been hired as a consultant for your Department of Magical Law Enforcement. So I will be moving to England in the next week. As soon as I get there we can start planning the wedding.”
Bri jumped up and hugged Harry “Welcome to the family Duncan” then she turned to Jeanie “So our little cousin got hitched. I hope not to that Ron boy he's all wrong for her and I'm pretty sure he's batting for the same team she is”
Jeanie shook her head “ No not Ron and you're right Ron is queer as a three dollar bill. You haven't met him but you have met his son Draco when we took that ski trip to Colorado.”
Sammy jumped in “You mean the ice king? His father?”
“Yeah, do you come up with names for everyone ?” Harry laughed because the name described Draco's personality perfectly.
Bri gave Harry a bright smile.“Yep pretty much, but let's get back to the details of this wedding” Jeanie and Harry spent the next hour explaining what happened in the last day including the incident with the girl on the street. To Harry's horror Bri and Sammy laughed about it.
Harry and the women went down to the hotel restaurant to catch brunch. As they sit down Bri starts checking her purse for her phone. “Fuck! I must have left the phone in the room. I'm waiting for an order conformation. I finally got the license to sell the magical pistols. Jeanie can I hold your key and order for me while I'm gone you know what I like” Jeanie hands her the key.
Bri makes her way back up to the room. When she gets there she hears movement from behind the the door. She draws her wand and slowly opens the door. She sees a tall man with glossy black hair held at the back of his neck with a leather strap. He immediately turned towards her wand drawn. Bri throws a disarming spell at him. He deflects it like it was a nerf ball. Before she knew what happened he had her pinned to to to wall with his wand in her throat and somehow he also disarmed her. She tries to knee him in groin, but he dodged it and locked her legs with a jinx. He speaks “What is your business here?” He had a smooth voice like warm honey.
Before she answers Hermione walks out of the bathroom. “Dear God Severus let her go. When Lucius sent you with me for protection I didn't think you would attack my friends” Imagine Hermione's surprise when she was woken up by Severus demanding she take several potions. Apparently Lucius sent for him before going to bed. Now her dear husband was tied up with his solicitors on floo calls because marriage to a Malfoy was apparently complicated.
Severus scowled “I did not attack her. She sent a spell at me before she said so much as a word” He released Bri from the wall along with the jinx and stepped away.
“Well what did you expect. I come back to a strange man in all black with a wand. By the way I believe I must congratulate you little cousin if that's the man you married”
Hermione burst into laughter. “You think I married Snape. That is so hilarious Snape HA!”
Severus gritted his teeth “I see nothing humorous about that. I get women flirting with me quite often”
Hermione calmed herself “Oh Sevvie did I hurt your feeling? I didn't mean that you were undesirable. Only that we would most likely kill each other after about a day.”
“You did not hurt my feelings” Severus was getting annoyed with his former student.
“I'm being so rude Sabrina Kyle this is Severus Snape my potions mentor and sometimes friend. Severus this is Sabrina my cousin of sorts” Severus put his hand out to shake hers. He expected the lovely young women to reject the gesture. She surprised him by taking his hand.
“I'm sorry for firing first Mr Snape. Please accept my apology” Bri had to admit that she found him attractive. It didn't hurt that he was 6'4” and it also helped that he was the first guy to beat her in a physical fight.
"Bri why are you here? It's begining to feel like Hermione Granger Here is your life." Hermione questioned Bri.
"Oh Jeanie wanted Sammy and me to come help her with something before you guys headed back" Bri answered.
Hermione continued to gather her things. As she finished the door opened again. It was Harry, Jeanie, and Sammy. Harry was balancing a couple of huge to go plates.
“Hey Mione. Snape when did you get here? I thought you were taking Athena and Circe to Disneyland” Athena and Circe were Severus' twin daughters.
After the war Severus had been drunk with his freedom when he met Aphrodite Rae . She was a seer and divination professor. She worked at a University in New York where he was giving a guest lecture. He spent two weeks with her. A year later She showed up at Hogwarts where he was still teaching until Minerva found a replacement for the defense against the dark arts position. She had the girls in grubby looking clothes. And she had a story about how she had fallen in love and she told him that she wouldn't be held back by his bastards. He was so shocked that he said nothing. He just looked down into two identical sets of ebony eyes. He had no doubt in his mind that the girls were his. She dropped them off with a bag with their birth certificates and a few items of clothing. When Aphrodite finished her rant he quietly took the girls into the castle. Within 4 months he had left Hogwarts. Supporting himself on an inheritance that he had not known about before the war. Spending his time brewing for St. Mungo's, Hogwarts, and a few Apothecaries. From that day on his brief carefree life was over and he hadn't been out with a woman since he's had the girls.
“We were, but Lucius insisted I come administer some potions to Hermione. The girls are currently in the Suite with him having there afternoon nap. We will return when they wake” Severus and Hermione say their goodbyes. Bri catches them outside of the room.
“So, Mr. Severus Snape, do you happen to have a wife or a girlfriend?” Hermione covers her mouth with her hand to hold in her laughter.
“I do not and why may I ask would you like to know?”
Bri leans over and whispers into his ear “You by far are the sexiest man I've ever met. I just wanted to know if I had to fight someone for you” She straightened up and handed him a business card “Call me some time I'll show you a good time”
With that she walked back into the room. Severus turned to Hermione “Does she do that often?”
“As far as I know you are the first. Then again you are probably the first man to beat her at anything physically or magically. Amazons are into that kind of thing” Hermione gave her ex-professor a smirk. “Just to let you know she's great with kids” He just stared after for a full minute before following her back to the Malfoy suite.
A/N: Snape is Alive and is a father. I couldn't honestly have him not be in the story. to top it off I've given him even more emotional baggage. next chapter you will get to meet his children see parenting Snape style. I still need a beta. anyone interested?
