The day was a long one but Harry had enjoyed it. He was now being carried into the bathroom of their bedroom.
"He's sleeping in here with you?" Regulus asked. "The baby I mean."
"His name is Harry and I'm not letting him in that nersery. The Black kids would tear him apart." Sirius sniffed. "Hey, what are you doing, Snape?"
"I seem compelled to follow you in to the bathroom." Severus explained. "It hurts when I try to leave."
"Lets try this then." Sirius said, frowning. "Wait out in the bedroom."
Severus sighed in relief in his head as he was able to wait in the bedroom without pain.
"Yes, that's working." Severus stated.
"Good, you stay out here." Sirius nodded.
He showered with Harry. Then got them both dried off and dressed before opening the door. He helped Harry brush his teeth then brushed the little one's hair before carrying him over to the big boy bed and setting him on it. There were rails on both sides of the bed but it wasn't a crib. He set a ball down next to Harry and tapped it with his wand. It lit up. He put a plush snake in Harry's arms, covered him with a blue baby blanket then put a bottle in the boy's mouth. He pulled a book out of the diaper bag and began reading The Tale of the Three Brothers to Harry who happily fell asleep.
"You're not half bad at that." Narcissa said from the door. She was feeling bad that she let the House-Elves put Draco to bed when her cousin had done it himself.
"I watched Lily do it." Sirius shrugged. "I wonder how I'm supposed to do this whole sleeping arrangment."
"I'm across the hall." Remus explained.
"No, I meant is Snape supposed to stay in here with me?"
"The bond hasn't let me go a few feet from you since you recieved me." Severus drawled. "It would be a good bet."
Sirius let out an annoyed side.
"Go take a shower and don't hurt yourself on purpose." He ordered.
Regulus grinned as Severus entered the bathroom holding whatever clothes Sirius had just tossed in his face.
"I'm worried about Severus." Regulus sighed, sitting on Sirius' bed and running fingers through his hair.
"I know, that's why I ordered him not to hurt himself." Sirius explained. "Albus was supposed to cover for him if he was caught but didn't. Lily's dead. He's stuck with me for the rest of our lives. Things aren't going in his favor."
Regulus was really looking worried now. Remus sat next to him and thought about what Sirius was saying while trying to comfort Regulus with his pressence.
"You want me to do what?" Severus asked, and hissed as pain shot through him.
"Don't yell you'll wake Harry." Sirius sighed, "Get in the bed. We're going to share.'
Severus growled but got into the bed he was not pleased sure Black had been nothing but nice to him since he'd come to him but this was going to far.
Sirius was annoyed as well but sighed and laid there on his back. After a few more sighs he began telling Snape what had happened in the days since Snape had been caught.
Severus appriciated the information.
Harry opened his eyes suddenly. He didn't like this bed. He closed his eyes and appeared between his Padfoot and the new man in bed. Both men opened their eyes to stare at the child but didn't say anything and Harry didn't seem to notice as he set his Glow Ball down and laid down, pulling his blankey back over him and holding his snakey close as he laid down. He yawned and went back to sleep.
Sirius smiled a bit and ran his fingers through Harry's hair and kissed his head before closing his eyes and trying to fall back asleep.
Severus was shocked apparently little Harry was going to be sleeping with them as well. Well, he could accept that he guessed.
When Harry woke again his diaper was full. He got up and began hitting Padfoot until he woke up.
"What?" Sirius muttered staring down at Harry. He suddenly wrinkled his nose. "Okay, okay, bathtime."
Severus followed them into the bathroom as the bond was pulling at him. He watched Black bath and change Harry the muggle way.
"Why are you doing it the Muggle way?"
"James wanted him raised a pureblood but Lily only agreed when James agreed that Harry could be exposed in both worlds." Sirius explained. "Lily didn't let the House-Elves raise Harry she did it herself and I guess I just picked it up. Remus and James picked it up as well."
"I see." Severus nodded. "That scar looks bad. With your permission I will brew him some potions that might help. I do not mean to give you orders, Black but maybe you should have it scanned."
"Yeah, you're right." Sirius nodded, "Okay, Harry you're dressed now lets get your teeth brushed."
Harry nodded and brushed his teeth with help from Padfoot. He was not happy when his hair got brushed.
When everyone was decent he finally got taken breakfast. He was confused when he didn't get a bottle for breakfast. He frowned hard at the cup in front of him what was he supposed to do with this? He watched the blond boy pick his cup up and drink from it. Harry copied him and was happy when he got him his milk out of it. He wrinkled his nose at how the blond ate and showed that he had been taught mannors. He didn't get messy at all as he ate and he ate everything that Padfoot put on his plate and drank from his new cup.
"He learns fast." Regulus chuckled.
"Harry's a bright boy." Remus explained, whiping Harry's mouth. "He learns very quickly much like Lily."
When Harry was done eatting he was set on the floor to explore. The blond boy instantly kissed him on the lips.
"Cissy, I'm getting annoyed with your son." Sirius stated, "You will tell him to stop kissing my godson! They are too young for that!"
"I don't know what has gotten into him, Sirius." Narcissa sighed, "Lucius will not be pleased."
Harry decided to play ball with the blond haired boy because it was playtime. After an hour Moony picked him up and began reading with and teaching him. It was learning time. He loved learning time.
