Chapter Thirty One

“To Begin or End Part Two”

Apprating to where I could feel Snape, I landed at least sixty miles away enough distance that Voldemort could not sense me or my magical signature. Then again that had drastically changed since I received my inheritance but one could never be too careful. Feeling two elementals arrive next to me I turned to them and went over the plan and what I wanted to be the outcome of tonight.

Turning back to the direction that I could feel Voldemort I sat down cross legged on the grass and closed my eyes in concentration. I wanted to be able to reach into myself and touch that essence I could feel that slight connection with everything around me.

“What is he doing?”

“Albus and your army of fools I see that you don’t recognize or respect what it is to be one with the world and nature that surrounds all of us.”

“I apologize but we are all waiting and I believe it would be best if we storm the wards as soon as possible.”

“A fool as usual Dumbledore, feel free to storm the wards as you said but all that will get you is a lot of dead wizards and witches so by all means go on.”

“Harrison?”

“It’s alright I was not in too deeply now if all of you will shut the hell up I need to concentrate and work, otherwise we are all wasting out time.”

Doing exactly like I said I closed my eyes again and sunk into myself and reached for all the connections that I could feel building inside of me, when I touched on the warm tingling thread that I knew to be the connection between Rylan and me I examined it for a moment wondering why it above all the others felt so good and warm inside of me.

Realizing that time was running out for me to complete my task I left the thread for another time and just took a bit of that warmth for my own and went back to what I was doing which was searching all of nature to find the discordant threads that spoke of the evil that had corrupt4ed Tom Riddle turning him into Voldemort if I could eliminate those black threads it would make the task of getting rid of him all that much easier.

I knew of Dumbledore’s whole Horcrux belief and if I could cleanse and release that energy from those objects I could render him mortal, I mean destroying a piece of someone’s soul destroyed a part of energy that was warped and needed to be returned to make a true peace to settle the imbalance. Finding some of what I was looking for I followed what my instincts were telling me to do. Having no idea how long I was gone I came back to myself exhausted and disoriented all I really wanted to do was sleep, but seeing people restlessly moving about I knew what I wanted and felt didn’t matter once again and that I would bow to fate to finally end this foolish war.

“Grandfather?”

“Harrison, are you well?”

“As well as can be expected, we must speak alone.”

“Very well, watch those fools Rylan; make sure Albus doesn’t try to spy on us.”

“Yes Sire.”

“What is it Harrison?”

“There is so much to tell but time is short, Riddle or Voldemort ripped his soul into pieces to make himself immortal there are or were seven pieces, I destroyed two before I came into my inheritance actually before I went to prison.”

“That means that five remain, have you found and cleansed them?”

“That’s just it two are living beings, Nagani’s the snake that Voldemort keeps at his side.”

“And the other?”

“I’m the other; I became a holder of a piece of his evil when he tried to kill me as a baby.”

“Gaining your inheritance should have cleansed you of all impurities Harrison.”

“Not this, I’m a Hocrux and I’m afraid that the only way to completely end this is to cleanse the last ones remaining, Nagani’s can’t be cleansed all that can be done is to destroy her as I fear must happen to me.”

“No, absolutely not!”

“Please, if that must happen then it will I won’t have my children growing up in a world that he can return and terrorize, I ask that you find my children and remove them from this and care for them as your own. I ask that you keep them safe and teach them about themselves. Give them something I never had and that is a true family free from betrayals.”

“Harrison? You must remain your life is not the only one that you carry.”

“I don’t understand.”

“When Rylan fulfilled my last order forging a connection to you, did you not feel it’s warmth that invaded the very essence of your soul and being?”

“Yes but I figured that’s what happen between elementals that have a connection.”

“No, it only happens for bond mates.”

“What?”

“Rylan is your other half your true mate, as a wizard yes you had a bond and connection to the Malfoy boy, but as your true self with all your powers free Rylan is your elemental mate, your bonded and if you die so shall he, you see this ridiculous need to sacrifice yourself will only doom him to death and suffering so I beg you to reconsider.”

“Did you know that this would happen is that why you told him to protect me?”

“No I had no idea that he was your mate, I just wanted to protect you.”

“So what do I do now?”

“Survive.”

“Grandfather, I need to rid the world of all the taint that Voldemort created even if I’m part of it.”

“We’ll find another way.”

“And if another way cannot be found, can the bond be broken?”

“Since neither of you have acknowledged said bond to each other or consummated yet there is a bit of leeway but not much, but you must be alive to take advantage of it, otherwise you will be sentencing him to death. What of the last three?”

“I have already taken care of them as I said it’s the last two the snake and me.”

“Then I suggest we take care of what we can for now and worry about the rest later for now we must go before someone does something stupid.”

Returning to the clearing I went to Dumbledore and explained the plan and tell him that due to unforeseen circumstances that I needed whoever got there hands on Nagani to bring the snake to me that it was imperative that no one kill the snake but to bring it to me to take care of, and that the Malfoy and Snape were to be rescued and taken care of. After my conversation I returned to my grandfather.

“The others are arriving and I have briefed them they will take care of what can be handled. I must talk with my warriors I will leave you for a bit I suggest you two talk.”

“I’m sure that was his subtle way of saying that we both know what happened out at the lake and have both felt it.”

“Yes he explained what it is and I can’t help but feel as if I sentenced an innocent to death another person to die for a worthless cause.”

“Ridding the world of evil is never worthless.”

“No but falling for me is I mean look what ended up happening to Malfoy, I mean he’s Riddle’s fuck toy and it’s all cause he knows me.”

“What an evil wizard chooses to do is no fault of yours and my life is not your responsibility.”

“No but now it is my burden, I will die having your death on my conscious.”

“How so?”

“For all this to truly end I must die along with Voldemort, the prophecy did say one cannot live while the other still lives.”

“And that was a wizarding prophecy; you are no longer a wizard so that silly poem has no validity anymore.”

“Somehow I doubt your interpretation is right but for what it’s worth I would have liked to get to know you, I mean from what little I have already seen.”

“I refuse to believe that you’re that fatalistic that you will intentionally set out to complete your very own prophecy of death. We will have that time.”

“Mikhail said that as long as we don’t acknowledge the bond there may be something we can do to stop it.”

“I’m sure but I already acknowledged you as my soul mate the one granted by our great goddess as the other half that will complete me and I’m saying it loud and clear. What you chose to do with that is up to you.”

* Notes Hello again I know I kind of vanished and yet here I am again going at it but I really hope you enjoy this post and forgive any misspellings or errors as they are all my own, so what do you think anyone had an idea I intended to go that way?
