Five months after the “Community Diversity Ambush” (weeks into baby-induced insomnia for parents of twins with differing feeding schedules and without a house elf nanny), Hermione resigned from the Ministry to focus on ways to get more sleep. Judge Galen Gallentine broke out a flagon and nearly emptied his hidden closet of the very potent (and very illegal) Giant’s Mead he’d stashed and imbibed every day since Hermione Granger-Malfoy began her crusade to “clean up” the Wizengamot from the office Minister Shacklebolt forced him to share with her.
One year after the “Community Diversity Ambush”, with Lucius safely ensconced in the Ministry doing a job he loved (and that kept him out of trouble), Hermione Granger Malfoy took over Malfoy Enterprises. They celebrated first with their wall-mounted insurrection-planning partner, then with old (and restored) friends, then as a couple…

Two months after the one-year mark, Hermione hexed holes in Lucius’ clothes very close to his groin.

He’d “forgotten” to cast the contraceptive charms…
