The passage seemed dark but she could see the torches lit afar. There were countless rooms adjacent to one another. All closed and maybe too quiet due to the use of the silencing charm. She walked shakily, scared of the darkness. She turned to see Adrian right behind her and she felt relieved. These were his memories. He will know better about what was going to happen. They both walked ahead. She followed Adrian who looked angry. Just then she heard a man's voice, "Just do as you are told. We cannot afford to remain behind Adrian! The Malfoys, the Notts, Crabbe, Goyle and even the Brewalls are getting his favors. We need those too you know. We are a lot less rich than these families. If the Dark Lord wins then we need to be on his good side so that our estates and businesses are not taken away from us. All you have to do is just cast an unforgivable and then get out. He needs to see that we are with him or else we will be paying him a huge sum like the Greengrasses to keep ourselves alive. I know how ruthless he can be. You do not want him to be angry with you. Now come on young man, do your old father a favor and kill a muggle so that I can boast that you are at par with the other pureblood boys. Come on!" He pushed a young looking Adrian further into the corridor. Astoria gasped as she heard Adrian's father speak so casually about killing another person. She saw the pain on his face as he was pushed inside an open door to their right. Adrian followed inside. Astoria looked around and saw that they were in some kind of a castle, a very old one at that. She followed Adrian into the room.
The seventeen year old Adrian looked scared but put on a brave face. His father smirked and patted his shoulder and pushed him further inside into another furnished room where he saw two other boys along with three girls. The girls seemed muggle and were scared shit. One was huddled in the corner where there was a dresser. It seemed like someone's bedroom. There was a kingsize bed in the middle and an ottoman at the foot of the bed. There was an attached bathroom. Astoria heard sounds of muffled shouts and looked inside cautiously. Before her she saw something that she had never in her dreams expected to see. As Adrian's father pushed the young man inside , the two boys stopped doing what they were doing and smiled. Right in front of Astoria was Vincent Crabbe who was pounding into a girl from behind who had her head on the matteress and getting raped. A second girl was huddled in a corner near the bed crying with tears and snot running down her face. She looked absolutely terrified. The light in the room however reflected her horror clearly on her face. On the ottoman was David with a girl kneeling in front of him begging him to let her go. Young Adrian looked at him in disbelief. He looked at his father who merely shrugged and said., "Get on with it and come find me after you are done." Saying this he left the room.
Adrian looked at David who grinned at him and said, "Finally you have arrived my friend. I thought that maybe you were supporting Potter given how reluctant you have been to join us. Come! This is fun! You get to fuck girls all night and then kill them as a bonus. All that filth taken out!" Adrian shook his head in surprise and looked at Crabbe who simply smiled and gave him a thumbs up sign and continued to plow the girl.
David laughed at his expression and spoke, "Come on Adrian, no one knows that we fuck them. The Dark Lord might be pleased if we tell him that. So stop with that judgemental look. I have plans man! I want to be in the inner circle like Malfoys. I want that power. I have got everything I need except that. I have a good education, my family is pureblood, I have a pureblood girl who loves me and will give me children...all I need is power and status in our society. We may not be wealthy now but after I marry Astoria I will be. So join us. You never know maybe we will have to rule the future world together." Saying that he cast the imperius curse on the girl and spoke, "Come you slut! I need you to please me like you did last night but do not think I will spare you. I have my orders. I will have to kill you but before that you need to please your master." Saying that he sat straight on the ottoman and rested his head against the poster of the bed. The girl wiped her tears and rose to put her hands on his trousers to remove his belt and unzip his trousers. She then took out his erect penis and rubbing it slowly she began to kiss the head and then put it inside her mouth.
David groaned, "Yes! That right! Just like that! If you werent a mudblood I would have kept you as my mistress. From what I have experienced with Astoria, she is too frigid. All pureblood upbringing and shit. She won't even let me kiss her deeply. Always going on and on about getting married and staying pure till then! I bet that bitch has already lost her flower so to speak. She is just keeping me hanging. Once I get married to her I will show who the master is and she will do as I say. Yes! Just like that! Wow! Adrian you should try her next and then I will kill her. Poor thing is a mudblood and I cannot show weakness because it angers the Dark Lord."
Adrian looked at him in disbelief and shook his head, "No thank you David. If you dont mind I will just take that third girl and finish her off."
David grinned at Crabbe and spoke, "Poor Adrian, must be his first time. I know buddy, it will take time to get used to it and then you will be able to raise it as well...if you know what I mean. The blood and the screams make it difficult to get off but not me. I kind of like it." He and Crabbe chuckled.
Adrian looked at the terrified girl in the corner and gestured her to come out, "Do as I say and it will be easy. Don't make me use then crutacius curse." Seeing his wand the girl rose quietly and walked up to him. Adrian took her arm and told David, "If you dont mind I am going to use the outside room. I cannot concentrate with that noise." He pointed to the girl getting pounded on the bed. David laughed as did Crabbe.
Adrain pulled the girl into the room attached to the bedroom which opened to the corridor. It had some furniture indicating that this was a waiting room of sorts. He closed the bedroom door behind him and spoke in whispers, "Do you know the spell to fall faint....that spell that makes your heart beat twice every thirty seconds?" The girl shook her head.
Adrian pressed his lips and spoke again, "Fine! Then I am going to do that spell and once you are in deep sleep, I am going to do the Avada kedavra curse on an insect. Once that is done, I will take your body to be inspected by my father. He does not like to touch mudbloods so you should be safe. I will convince him and take you outside to throw your body. Once we are in the clear I will wake you up. Is there anybody you can go to in the muggle world?"
The girl nodded meekly,"My grandmother lives in Africa."
Adrian nodded, "Good, go there and stay away from our world until you know it is safe to come out. Okay? "
The girl nodded furiously, "But why are you helping me?"
Adrian spoke again, "Because I dont believe in this crap. Magic chose you. You should not be punished for that." Signalling his next step, he pushed the girl on the ground and then spoke the spell to help her fall into deep sleep. Once the girl was out he placed his wand on a tiny spider on the wall and spoke the curse loudly, "Avada kedavra!"
Just then the door opened and David walked in impressed by the show of Adrian's first kill,"Well! well! well! Adrian did not think you had it in you. Well done! Now throw her out." He then grabbed the girl who was pleasuring him and threw her on the floor and said the killing curse. The memory finished and both Adrian and Astoria were back in the cold lighted room.
Astoria stumbled as she came out of that pensieve. She struggled to maintain her balance as tears blinded her and she could not see where she was going. She just walked back till she hit the wall and then slid down till she hit the floor. Her hands covered her face as she sobbed loudly, her heartwrenching sobs saying 'No,no,no...'all the time. Adrian looked alarmed at her reaction. She looked like she could lose it now. He did not know how to approach her. As he stood silently , his house elf spoke in a low voice and disappeared. He waited for Astoria to calm down. It was fifteen minutes ago that they had come out of the pensieve but Astoria was still crying. Adrain could not take it anymore and said, " Astoria it is not your fault. You did not know about him."
Astoria looked at him, her red eyed face stained with her dried tears, "Yes, but you did. Why did you not tell me about him?" Her voice was hoarse from crying.
Adrian looked at her sadly and replied, " Why do you think I came to talk to you before I disappeared? I knew he was telling you lies about me so that you will not trust me! I tried to speak to you even after he died but you still did not want to meet me. I sent you letters that you never answered. What was I supposed to do Astoria?"
She looked at him, fresh tears flowing down her cheeks, "Yes but how did I not know Andy? How did I fall in love with a man who was nothing but an animal...a beast, who killed innocent people and then came to me saying things that made me believe that he was the sweetest man alive? How did my heart not tell me that... that...bastard...that git was a psycofreak who should have been hanged publicly for doing gross things to girls. And look at what I did for him! I went on to marry Malfoy and avenge that beast for twenty years...Adrian..twenty years of my life! And I even just now...I tried to kill...no...no...maybe I have already killed...oh merlin! Oh merlin! I have killed Hermione and her innocent kids! What have I done? I have become him! I dont deserve to live...I should die! Kill me! ADRIAN KILL ME!" Getting hysterical she got up and flung herself at Adrian grabbing his hands and forcing him to choke her neck.
Adrian resisted her, pleading her to stop but when she did not listen for several minutes he simply slapped her hard. Astoria stood in that room stunned as the echo of the slap still rang in that quiet room. He pulled her close to him, his eyes wet with tears, her face in his hands and whispered, "Stop this Astoria please. Listen to me and listen to me good. You did not kill anyone! I sent Lily and she told me that Hermione and her children are all safe. You did not kill anyone Astoria. You are not him! You are my Astoria. He is dead. You need to let this go sweetheart! Come back to me! Come back to us! Please!" His whispers woke her up and she looked into his eyes that were pleading her to acknowledge his pain, their pain. She moved forward to kiss his lips as he sighed in relief.
Draco paced in front of the fire as Hermione sat o the couch in their living room in their flat. He could not believe what had just happened. He was feeling relieved and anxious at the same time. Harry had added new wards to his flat. He promised him that he would catch Astoria soon. He shook his head as he blamed himself. Hermione could not bear to see him shaking his head again and again and spoke in a soft voice, "Draco I am fine. We are all fine. Now please come here and sit near me."
Draco glared at her and spoke, "How can you be this calm? Do you know what could have happened had the amulet worked?" He sat near her and spoke in a voice that he tried hard to stop from shaking, " I would have lost you Hermione! I would have lost our children! Does that mean nothing to you? I swear, when I meet Astoria I am going to kill her!"
