Chapter 36 – More
Than Words
Cho woke up late the next morning feeling oddly alone. Her eyes opened to clouds outside a tower window
and navy blue hangings on a near by bed.
There was no pressure around her waist of a heavy strong arm keeping her
possessively, lovingly close. Neither
was there a neck she was nuzzling in or lips lightly kissing her awake. And nor was there something wonderfully
delicious, tantalizing hard poking her in the back or leg waiting for her
satisfy it. Turning over on her back,
Cho realized she was alone in her bed, in Ravenclaw Tower. She sighed heavily, but she had a pretty good
idea why she was alone and in her bed.
Two folded pieces of paper sat near her bed, and the one with the word
‘Love’ scrawled on it was sure to reiterate her hypothesis. After reading the one without the pet name,
she found out that her pre-Healer training would start Monday morning with a
brief introduction. She worried about
her blessed mornings with Harry, but he had promised that every day would be
their Monday mornings. But that she
would think about later as she flipped open the letter from her love.
Love,
I’m sure you know why you’ve woken up in your own bed. Everyone will be back from holiday early this
afternoon. I still had quite a few
assignments to get done, and to recopy the ones you did for me. Thank you, Cho. I really want you to know how much I appreciate
everything. If I were a better person, I
would have never allowed you to suffer through those assignments. They weren’t your cross to bear. They were and are my problems only. And yet I’ve ruined you your holiday by
making you feel obligated to do them. If
I was even worthy of the air you breathe, or had the sanity of a normal person,
your hands would never have had to endure such a task. But because you’re a Ravenclaw, an
intelligent, beautiful, worth giving the world too girl, you didn’t know any
better than to take on my assignments that weren’t meant for you. You deserve better than that. Homework that’s solely your own, I mean.
It was incredibly hard to kiss you good-bye this morning. But finally trying to be man I should be, I
did. As weak as you only know that I am,
understand how much it’s killing me inside to do so, to take on my own
assignments in life.
I miss you already, Beautiful.
Love, Harry
P.S. I’m sure that Ron, Hermione
and Ginny will have me trapped with them for sometime since we’ve only seen
each other once during the holiday.
Cho read the letter three times over. She didn’t know that her doing Harry’s
detention assignments meant so much to him.
Something told her logical mind that it didn’t. But she’d wait until she spoke to him again
to ask him about it. For now, Cho needed
a shower, and Dobby had a breakfast spread waiting beside her bed. She smiled at her bowl of strawberries in
particular and all the memories it ignited before going to take a shower.
The Ravenclaw took one last walk around the empty school
before her fellow students returned. She
walked past several places her and Harry had made new, personal, happy
memories. Cho smiled at those memories,
seeing her and Harry kissing in the middle of a hall that would soon be
occupied, seeing herself fucked on a window ledge she passed with her friends
on several occasions coming from classes, and seeing herself being held by
Harry near the frozen Black Lake making plans to make love there in the spring. She couldn’t wait for spring. She also knew part of her walk included
hoping she’d accidentally bump into Harry before his world took him over.
Not wanting to go to the Great Hall for lunch, hoping still
Harry would be the one to deliver her meal to her instead of new friend Dobby,
Cho sat in her room alone. And just as
she finished her food, she heard the pounding of footsteps, multiple footsteps
heading up the stairs.
“Hiya!” shouted Patricia throwing her bag to the floor and
hugging Cho. “How was your holiday,
Cho?”
Cho couldn’t do anything but smile. “Brilliant!
Yours?”
“Fantastic! I met up
with Blaise for New Year’s Eve!” Patricia smirked. “Miss the count down though!” she narrowed
her eyes in mock confusion though she smiled slyly.
Me too! Positively brilliant! Cho thought. “Patricia, shame on you!” she scolded
playfully.
Patricia only shrugged her shoulders and walked over to her
bed as Constance and Marietta
walked in. “Too bad she’s not coming
back to school then, huh, Mari?” asked Constance. “Happy New Year, Cho!”
“Hi, Connie, Mari!
How was your holiday?” Cho asked happily.
Connie hugged Cho, while Marietta walked over to her bed. “Great fun!
And Marietta
found her Miss Abbott!” Constance giggled.
“Really?” Cho asked.
“Well, congratulations, Marietta,”
she seemed to have to force herself to say.
“Thanks. But no need
to congratulate me, she’s not coming back to school this year. She’ll be back next year when I’m gone. And that dolt Longbottom seems to have a
major crush on her. His Gran and her dad
are trying to get them together,” Marietta
explained crossly. “He’ll have her all
to himself next year.” The
reddish-blonde slammed herself on her bed.
Cho walked over to her former best friend and sat beside
her. “Mari, it doesn’t matter if someone
else fancies who you fancy. It’s what’s
in that person’s heart. That’s what will
determine whom they’ll chose if it truly is a matter of choice. Give her time and be patient. If you’re meant to be, if you truly earned
her heart, then it’ll work out in your favor,” Cho explained compassionately.
Marietta
gave her former best friend a struggling smile.
“Thank you, Cho. I appreciate you
saying that. It’s just…I’ve never wanted
someone so much in my life.” Cho lowered
her head slightly at the words. “Really,
never this much, so I know…she’s the one I need.”
Marietta’s
words and Cho’s as well, hit the pretty Asian girl in her heart. She meant and wished every word she
said. Finally, after so many months, the
former friends could honestly relate to each other. Cho smiled at her friend and gave her a
hug. “I understand how you feel. Let’s hope everything works out for the
best.”
“Yeah, let’s hope Hannah comes around because if you have to
keep sleeping with old haggard face Millicent Bulstrode, I think I may disown
you as a friend!” teased Patricia.
“Oh, shut it!” Marietta
laughed, throwing a pillow at her friend.
After Patricia dodged a shoe, she called out for Cho. “Speaking of friends threatening friends,
Terry said get your little bum down stairs ASAP or he’s coming up and it won’t
be as pretty as he is!”
“Oh! Alright!” Cho
said happily. She couldn’t wait to see
Terry and hear his interesting news. The
Ravenclaw nearly ran out of the room to meet the other Ravenclaw.
“Okay, is Patricia’s mouth broken from using it the wrong
way over the holiday, because I could give her a few pointers? Bloody Slytherins can be a handful and a
mouthful!” Terry said as Cho descended the stairs, charging for her. The best friend caught the other best friend
in his arms and swung her around. “Mate,
it’s so good to see you!”
“You too!” beamed Cho in his arms.
“I have absolutely FANTASTIC news!” he said before releasing
her. Cho simply nodded, so eager to hear
she didn’t want to make a noise that may interrupt. But Terry looked around nervously at the
buzzing room of students heading up to their dorms, and finally pulled her over
to their Couch of Comfort. Memories
flooded Cho of all the things she had done on that sofa since the last time
they cried on it.
“Okay, spill! I can’t
take it much longer!” Cho said.
Terry nodded, smiling so hard, Cho didn’t think it possible
for him to form his lips into words.
“Alright! Christmas I received a
letter from…you know…” Cho nodded,
guessing it was Draco. “And he said he
wanted to meet me on Boxing Day at Flourish and Blotts. Now before you say I shouldn’t have gone if
I’m trying to get over him, save it!
Because I went! And I’m so glad I
did! Cho…he loves me!”
“What?” she asked, beaming nearly as much as he was over the
news.
Terry nodded vigorously.
“He loves me! He said it! He actually said it! Says he’s been miserable without me and that
I scared him when I said because he’s never been loved before! And he was scared of what he might do to me
because he had never loved anyone else before, ESPECIALLY a bloke!” he
whispered loudly.
“Oh, Terry, I’m so happy for you!” Cho exclaimed, hugging
him once more.
“No! That’s not even
the best part, mate!” he said, releasing her.
“He…we…are…together! He’s
actually mine!” Cho’s mouth hung open in
pure shock. She didn’t think Draco
Malfoy had the courage to love freely, especially a male and especially in a
relationship. “I mean…we can’t…go around
holding hands and kissing in the halls for awhile at least. Not until people get use to seeing us as
friends. And that’s what it’ll seem like
to everyone else, that we’re nothing more than friends. Extremely close friends. We’ll be walking together, sitting together
in class, talking together all the time he promised. Just the nature of our relationship needs to
be kept quiet for awhile. Shouldn’t be
too much trouble, people getting use to seeing us, he was walking about the
school with two big burly blokes since he started here. If no one questioned their relationship, they
shouldn’t question ours. But…he’s mine,
Cho. And he’s so happy about it! We even sat together on the train…private
compartment of course…making memories…” he added dreamily, the smile unyielding
on his face.
Cho was excited and jealous over her friend’s new and
improve love life. Then again, Harry may
not be able to walk her to class, but something deep inside her knew he was
hers. And although Ginny was somewhere
more than likely kisses the lips she had enjoyed for the past two days, Cho
hoped Harry was thinking about her as he allowed himself to be kissed.
“And speaking of memories, I’m to go meet him as soon as I
get settled in. You can’t know how
wonderful it felt to…kiss him again. We
didn’t at Flourish and Blotts, he said we should wait until the Hogwarts
Express. As much as I love trains…” he
smirked to his friend, “I’ve never been so eager to get on one!” he laughed,
then fell silent as he watched his hands.
“He’s…mine, Cho. I can’t…believe
it. It’s like a dream.”
“That’s…wonderful, Terry,” Cho said honestly, but unable to
smile as brightly as she had for her friend.
Terry looked at his friend, then gasped. “Oh sodding…
How insensitive of me, Cho! I
didn’t even ask how your holiday went…alone in the castle with…you know…” Cho exhaled heavily, and then smiled beyond
her control. “Very well, I suppose from
that smile,” Terry said, smiling with her hopefully.
Cho shook her head slightly.
“No. I mean…it was…brilliant
after awhile, Terry. I…I’m not as lucky
as you are, but…” She looked down at her
plain silver band surrounding her thumb.
“I feel a weight lifted off of me for some reason. And it’s…okay that I…love him with all my
heart, and that he’ll never know, and even that…he may be with someone
else. I’ve accepted that, because I
know…” she smiled at her ring, “that all he wants is me.”
Cho said her words with confidence. A confidence that she felt came from hearing
those words very recently. She knew
Harry had said it a million times, but she felt like she had heard them
whispered to her not long ago. The
seventh year just decided it must have been right after the Hogwarts Express,
but she couldn’t remember when.
****************************************************************
“Bloody hell, Cho, you must be starved!” Marietta said, having to nearly shout to her
friend as the Ravenclaw girls walked to dinner.
Cho was at least five feet ahead of the group with no intentions of
slowing down.
“A bit,” she lied, knowing her intentions were to see Harry
for the first time that day. Cho knew it
would be bittersweet to see her love that evening. She was well aware that some other girl that
was not her, would be clinging to his side, a side that belong to her. But Cho knew it would take some getting use
too, and Harry warned her in his letter that it would happen.
Stepping into the Great Hall, she was taken aback only
briefly that there were four tables again.
Then her pretty eyes scan the Table of the Brave. However, there was no reluctant hero and his
group just yet. So Cho sat with her
friends, saving a seat for Terry whenever he may come in with his
boyfriend. After starting their meals,
and watching the door, Terry did finally enter the hall with his smiling
boyfriend. Both boys were red in the
face. Cho smiled at her friend. She was extremely happy for him. But then her smiled waned when two other
couples walked in. Ron and Hermione
walked in hand in hand, followed by Harry and Ginny doing the same. The shape of the Golden Trio and their fourth
had reshaped in a way that seemed to highlight Harry and Ginny’s relationship
even more. Either that, or it was Cho’s
heart stinging watching her love, her possession, holding onto someone else.
Okay, Cho. It’s the first day. You can do this. He wants you, remember? You’re wearing his ring…
If he wants me, then why
aren’t I holding his hand walking into the Great Hall? I’ve done nothing but hold his hand for
several days.
STOP IT! You know the nature of your
relationship! You’ve accepted it! Don’t do this to yourself, again! Just…wait…he’ll come to you again… Be patient…
Cho repeated those last two words to herself once more until
she felt her racing heart settle. But
the moment Harry eyes traveled across the room to her with that strange look
that she saw New Year’s Day, she had to repeat the words to herself again. And again.
***
Those two words carried her through her first night alone
without her love. The words took her
through breakfast the next morning and through her Friday classes. Every moment she caught sight of Harry
looking at her or not, the words took to singing in her mind. By dinner, Cho wasn’t sure she could go much
longer without contact with him. It had
been an entire day after all, she wasn’t use to that. But talking to, touching, kissing, holding
her assailant would be difficult with the redhead strapped to his side.
Unable to look at the Golden Couple anymore during dinner,
Cho got up to leave. She knew it was the
best thing for her because the song in her head would be for naught if she had
to continue watching her heart ache.
Nearly to the door, she was unexpectedly stopped by a Gryffindor.
“Jiao? Hang on!”
called Cormac rushing toward her.
Smiling handsomely at her, he nodded for them to walk out the door
together. Cho could feel herself getting
nauseous at anything he may suggest they do together or if he put his hands on
her body; Harry’s body. She had to end
the false relationship with the seventh year now. He loved someone else anyway, but he wasn’t
worth being second choice for; only one Gryffindor had that honor.
“How was your holiday?” Cho forced herself to ask.
Cormac nodded.
“Good…I suppose. Pity you…didn’t
go home for the holiday…”
Cho’s fake-for-Cormac’s-sake smile was wearing already on
her cheek muscles. “Yes, I heard you had
big plans…” she mumbled.
“What’s that?” asked the Gryffindor, narrowing his eyes in
confusion.
Cho pushed her smile further. “Oh, nothing!
So…what’d you get up too on your holiday?”
“Well, we visited my Gran in Scotland…close to your house,
actually. Then I…went to visit…uh, Ginny
Weasley…AND her family, of course. They
weren’t far from…um…where I had the Knight Bus drop me off…” he mumbled this
time. “BUT, uh, it was good fun.”
The Ravenclaw nodded and smiled. How
could Ginny be so stupid? She has the
perfect someone and yet, she’s doing who knows what with this one… Wonder if she’ll be interested a trade…
“Um, Cho…I was…wondering if perhaps you wanted
to…study…later tonight?” he asked nervously, but smiled knowingly.
Cho nearly threw up what little dinner she had knowing what
he was suggesting. Swallowing hard, and
thankful for the brief distractions of a few students leaving the Great Hall,
Cho tried to summoned the courage to do what she had to do. “Cormac…” she began, her fake smile gone, and
her sympathetic look replacing it.
“I…think you’re a really great guy.
Very sweet. But…I…uh…” Then courage came in the form of a redhead as
she watched a first year with bright hair leave the Hall. “Uh, it’s…obvious that you…fancy…someone
else. I mean, you kissed another girl
while you were with me, did you not?
Ginny Weasley.” Cho watched
Cormac’s smile disappear as well while he stood wide-eyed in front of her. “That’s…why Harry was fighting you before
holiday break, wasn’t it?” she lied. “So
you see Cormac, it just wouldn’t work out between us.”
“But Cho…Gin…is too involved with that git Potter. She was hurting when…well, when what happened
happened. But…she’s made it very
clear…um, and I HAVE made it very clear, that we are with other people, so
friends is as far as we can go! I…”
“Cormac,” Cho said, cutting him off, “it’s not meant to
be…with us that is. You want…someone
else. And I…” The Ravenclaw’s words paused when the Golden
Trio and their fourth walked out of the Great Hall. Harry looked back to see Cho and Cormac
standing together watching him and his girlfriend walk away. “…I belong to someone else…” she said to
Harry’s watching, strangely saddened and not angry, eyes.
As Cho went to sleep that night, she went over the truthful
words she had told Cormac. She did
belong to Harry. And now, she had dumped
what she was going to use as her savior from herself for the rest of the school
year because all she wanted was Harry.
And what made the seventh year’s heart soar and sore further was that
she dumped Cormac for Harry, to make him happy, to show she loved only him
though she could never tell him those three little words.
*******************************************************
The weekend had been the longest two days for Cho. Harry hadn’t touched or talked to her once
during that time. And it was only once
during breakfast on Saturday did he even look at her. The Ravenclaw was feeling heavily neglected,
but he had warned her, so she continued to tell herself to be patient. Luckily, Cho had Patricia, Constance, and Marietta to hang out with
during her weekend. Terry was
preoccupied for the two days, and she understood why. The seventh year’s consolation was that Monday
would be there before she knew it. And
Monday mornings were always the best part of her week.
Sunday night, the Ravenclaw had taken a long bath thinking
about her holiday break, her break up with Cormac, but most importantly, her
forth coming Monday morning. Granted,
Cho had pre-Healer lessons in the morning, but she still had breakfast to shout
Harry’s name to her navy blue hangings.
She went to sleep that night with a smile on her face waiting to be
woken with kisses.
But unfortunately for the seventh year, she woke up to an
empty bed and a letter on her pillow.
Love,
I’m sorry for
And that’s all that was written. Cho was too devastated at the moment to be
confused.
******
The rest of her day was spent pondering over his letter, and
the lack of attention she was receiving from her assailant. It was beginning to hurt, not just her heart
but her body. Cho hadn’t been kissed in
four days. She hadn’t felt arms wrapped
around her as if protecting her from the air around them. The Ravenclaw hadn’t been told she was
beautiful, or told how much she was wanted, or how much she was needed for far
to long. But the pretty girl felt that
familiar box around her again. And the familiar
feeling of a broken soul was beginning to tease her insides. She was trapped in something Harry’s decided,
in her new Hell, and in her own self.
Because the Ravenclaw knew that although she wasn’t receiving the
attention she deserved, she still loved him far too much to not wait for him to
come back to her. The question was,
however, how long would Cho have to wait?
And how long could she?
*****************************************************************
By Tuesday, the expression on the Ravenclaw’s face was
reminiscent of early September. Five
days without her love was starting to wear on her sanity more than her
patience. She wanted his touch, if just
for a moment. She wanted him to look at
her, something he hadn’t managed since Saturday. She wanted him to act like he wanted her as
much as he claimed he did randomly during the holiday.
Claimed, Cho? No, don’t question it. Harry meant what he said, you’re all he
wants. Just be patient, she thought
to herself at the end of her Defense class.
But Defense had been a trying experience for the pretty
girl. Harry had accomplished changing
her image of the dank dungeon classroom over the holiday. Now, Cho could see herself on top of Snape’s
desk with her leg over Harry’s shoulder while being taken roughly by the
Gryffindor. He also accomplished
dampening the seat of her pants as she knew she would from their memory on
Snape’s desk. She just wondered if after
his Defense class later that afternoon, would he seek her out to take care of
the erection he claimed he’d have.
Not claimed, Cho! He will!
And you’re the only one who could satisfy it properly. He knows that. He’ll come to you…
But after lunch and after Harry’s Defense class, Cho sat
properly in Arithmancy. Properly because
there had been no Gryffindor to snatch her away in the hall, sneak her off into
a classroom, and pound her wanton snatch until the next bell rang.
By the end of Arithmancy, Cho’s sanity and patience had run
out.
Running through the halls, heading toward her Head of
House’s classroom, Cho didn’t quite know what she had in mind. But the one thing she knew was that she
wanted to see Harry. And her showing up
outside his classroom door would undoubtedly warrant eye contact between the
two lovers. She just hoped she didn’t
leap on the reluctant hero right there.
When Ron and Hermione were the first students out of the door, she knew
she couldn’t.
“Cho?” called Terry, following behind the couple holding
hands, while he was in his own couple not holding hands. “What are you doing here, mate? You’re to be in Herbology shortly if I
remember correctly.”
Cho only nodded briefly to her friend, looking past him and
his blonde lover’s head. “Yes, I…” Her words trailed off when she saw her own
love looking just as distraught as she felt, walking out the classroom
alone. Green eyes met chestnut as he did
as she predicted, looking surprise to see her.
Now Cho didn’t know what to do.
The seventh year felt silly and embarrassed by her own actions. She wanted to run away, but that would look
even stranger. So instead, she stood
there and stuttered. “I…I…came
to…uh…walk with you to…class,” Cho said to Terry, though watching Harry
watching her.
“Walk with him to class?
I think he can manage that on his own, thanks,” sneered Draco.
Terry shushed his secret boyfriend. “Cho…are you…alright?” he asked lowly,
stepping closer to her. Cho wasn’t sure
if she was alright. She thought she
would be by making eye contact with her love, but it hadn’t the true effect it
should have had. Harry should have
already smiled, gave her nod to follow him, or at least winked at her
seductively. But none played across the
handsome Gryffindor’s face. Just a
blank, pain-tainted stare met the Ravenclaw’s embarrassed expression. And when Harry’s green eyes decided it best
to watch the ground and move his feet slowly on it and away from her, Cho’s
almond-shaped eyes saddened.
As the students continued to file out of the Charms
classroom, Cho lowered her gaze to the floor.
“Come on, mate. I’ll walk you to
class,” Terry said sympathetically, having watched the interaction.
“I don’t think so, Terry,” came Draco’s disapproval. “That’s not…part of our…arrangement.
Terry sucked his teeth in a manner that would make Marietta proud. “Bloody hell, Draco…” he said exasperatedly,
though smiling. “Wait here, mate,” he
whispered to Cho. “May I have a word
with you, Mr. Malfoy?”
As Terry walked away with his boyfriend leaving her leaning
against the wall, Cho heard Harry’s voice.
She felt sure he had disappeared somewhere down the hall by now, but
when she looked up she saw that he was walking away from a conversation with
Dean and Seamus. Their eyes met once
more as he began walking alone and Cho couldn’t help but step closer to him,
though facing the opposite direction.
Her nose filled with his scent, the pretty girl’s hand eased out
slightly brushing past his hanging one as he walked by. Harry stopped in his tracks, and the two
stood facing opposite directions as the backs of their hands lightly touched
the other. Cho lowered her head and
smiled taking in the lovely few seconds that she was touching her love and that
he was touching her.
“You broke up with McLaggen…I heard,” Cho barely heard Harry
say to the busy corridor of talking, walking students.
The Ravenclaw only peeked out the corner of her eye at Harry
before she made sure to keep her face forward as well. “I…belong to…someone else…don’t I?” she said
in a low tone, making sure to glide her ringed-thumb across the back of his
hand. In her heart, the seventh year
wished that Harry would take that bit of news, her present words and feel of
his ring being worn by her as a sign that she’s still waiting, and she was
still his. She wished it could all be
translated in his mind to mean love.
That she loved him so much she didn’t want anyone else to touch
her. Cho knew she could never tell Harry
she loved him, but she would show it as best she could.
Just like he shows me
he…
He doesn’t LOVE you,
Cho!
He doesn’t hate me
either! Whatever he feels…it’s strong… And whatever he feels…it’s just for me…
Cho heard Harry sigh, then wrap his fingers around her hand
and gave it a squeeze. A brief squeeze,
because before the pretty girl had a moment to listen to her heart beat faster
at his touch, Harry released her and was walking down the hall.
Cho was shocked and now angry at the sudden departure. She turned around ready to blatantly call for
him and take him away to yell at, kiss and screw him. But the moment she opened her mouth, she
closed it immediately.
“Harry! There you
are!” said Hermione, dragging Ron back up the hall. “Sorry, we thought you were right behind us!”
Harry didn’t even look back at his victim as he only nodded
his head at his best friends and walked along side them. Cho felt something she hadn’t felt in a
nearly a week; her newly mended soul cracking.
“Come along, mate…” Terry said walking over to her, sensing
her sadness, after dismissing his spoiled boyfriend. “I’ll…walk you to…class…”
******************
Late that Tuesday night, Cho left her disheveled bed, tired
of tossing and turning. It wasn’t just
because she was horny. She was
horny. Her body knew something was
missing from its life that it had grown accustomed too. However, it was her heart that was calling
for something that it too was accustomed too.
Fortunately, and unfortunately, what could cure Cho of all her ailments
was one person. And though she was hurt
and embarrassed by her actions earlier that day, she would seek out that
someone.
He’s not to deprive
me, if I’m not mistaken! Cho thought, nearly to Gryffindor Tower.
Yes, but that only
goes for what’s between your legs, not what’s aching in your chest!
It’s no matter,
she countered herself, regardless, if I
need him, I’m to have him. And having
him will inadvertently calm the pain in my chest.
You’re so sure, are
you?
I hope… she
thought honestly.
“Foreseer?” said the Ravenclaw, unsure if the password had
changed or not. The Fat Lady snorted in
her sleep, barely opening her eyes as she opened the portrait. Cho wasn’t worried about her seeing her and
not being a Gryffindor. For one reason,
the Fat Lady knew her well from the winter break. And secondly, Cho was presently invisible.
Walking into the common room of scarlet and gold that she
had made love, made out, and fought in, Cho was set to tip-toe up the boys’
stairs in the dimly-lit room. But
something caught her attention as she walked through the empty room. It was figure sitting in a chair near the
fireplace. The pretty girl recognized
Harry’s profile in the weakening fire light.
Cho’s heart did a flip at the prospect of sneaking up on him in his
common room and making love to him right in that chair if they felt so
inclined. But as she stepped closer, she
saw Harry wearing a nearly crazed look on his face, as he took turns balling up
his hair, and clasping his hands together in frustration. Cho also noticed that clever cloak hanging
over one of his arms.
He mumbled to himself though she couldn’t understand what he
was saying. And she nearly dove out of
sight as if she were visible when he shot up from his seat and began pacing the
floor while he mumbled. It was obvious
to the Ravenclaw that Harry was frustrated over something. It was obvious from his slight bulge in his
pajama pants, he wanted something. And
it was obvious that since he had his Cloak with him and no Ginny underneath
him, he would be seeking out to claim his Ravenclaw very shortly.
Cho couldn’t help but smile.
He wanted her just as much as she wanted him at the moment, she was
sure. But she’d let him work it out in
his mind for a moment before she revealed herself and gave him what they were
both missing.
Finally, the moment came; Harry had made a decision. Accented with a few swear words, and
self-deprecating words as well, the Gryffindor was headed toward the portrait
hole, only a few short feet away from the Ravenclaw. Cho already had her wand to her forehead,
ready to undo the charm and surprise him.
But as she began to think of her counter curse to the disillusionment
charm, a voice stopped her. A female
voice stopped her.
“Blimey, it must be our lucky day, Lavender!” beamed Parvati
coming down the stairs, followed by her giggling friend.
Harry leaped nearly a foot off the floor at the sound of her
voice. Cho did accomplish that
leap. As the two smiling girls walked
further into the room, Harry tossed his Cloak to the side, ironically landing
on the pretty, already invisible, girl.
“Uh…you two are up rather late,” Harry said then yawned, trying to
pretend he wasn’t on the verge of sneaking out.
“Well, we had someone we…uh…we wanted to take care of
something tonight…” giggled Lavender, while Parvati walked over to Harry.
Harry’s eyes widened then narrowed and Cho could see that
her love suddenly felt uncomfortable.
“Well…I’ll leave you two too it.
Night, then,” he said, trying to walk quickly toward his stairs.
Cho hoped he’d get up them and away from sly-looking girls
because she was becoming very uncomfortable for her love. But for once, the Gryffindor wasn’t quick
enough, not for his female counterparts.
“Oh, no, Harry…” Parvati said, grabbing his arm and leading
toward the couch he had made love to Cho on.
Lavender quickly got a hold of his other arm and helped her friend with
the reluctant hero. “Come sit with
us…we…needed to…talk…to you anyway…”
“Yeah…and we were going to go up to your room to…talk to
you…anyway. Just lucky that you happened
to be already down here to…get a good…talking too,” chimed Lavender.
I will hex your bloody
hair OUT if you do what I think your about to do! shouted Cho in her mind.
“Uh…ladies, please…” Harry said, trying to get up from the
sofa. But the girls held his arms
tightly as they began to touch his face, hair, chest, and… “AH!
What the hell do you think you’re doing?” he nearly yelled when
Parvati’s hand grabbed his waning erection.
The two girls giggled.
“Relax, Harry,” said Lavender as she trailed kisses on his cheek and
Parvati took to his neck as she rubbed him through his pants. “It’ll be…fun…” she added huskily, then
covered his mouth with hers.
Harry struggled against the molestation, but not harshly,
Cho knowing he wouldn’t hit a girl. But
Cho, however struggled with revealing herself and sending the two horny girls
straight to St. Mungo’s. But luckily for
Lavender, Harry wiggled his head out of her kiss.
“Stop it! I
don’t…want this,” Harry sputtered out between forced giggly kisses to his mouth
and a relentless hand on his crotch.
“Why…why…are you…two…doing this?”
“Because we want you, obviously!” giggled Lavender on his
chin.
Parvati lifted his shirt, set to gnaw on his stomach but
stopped to answer his question as well.
“Bloody hell, Harry, who doesn’t want you?” she said before placing her
teeth on his chest.
“Honestly,” Lavender added between kisses, “you’re a hero,
bloody gorgeous and…we’re sure quite lovely in the sack…”
If Cho didn’t want to kill the two girls, she couldn’t have
agreed more.
“But…” Harry struggled a little more, trying to grab
Parvati’s hand off his semi-erection, “I don’t…want you…two. I’m in love with…”
Parvati sucked her teeth before sliding her hand into his
pajama pants. Harry’s ‘no’ was muffled
by Lavender’s lips. “That’s part of the
fun though, isn’t it, Harry?” she said huskily, stroking him hard in his
pants. “Doing something you’re not
supposed too…with someone you’re not supposed too… But don’t worry, Gorgeous, we won’t tell
Ginny…”
“Ginny?” he said out the corner of his mouth in
surprise. “Oh…right! Yes, Ginny!
My…my…girlfriend...” he shouted, moving his head out Lavender’s kissing
path. “I… NO!” he suddenly shouted when Parvati took
his weak erection into her mouth.
“GERROFF!” Harry wiggled with all
his strength, freeing his arms and pulling the pretty, horny girl off his dick. Suddenly he leapt up from the couch, out the
clutches of the unrelenting girls and darted quickly up the boys’
staircase. When the door could be heard
slamming shut upstairs, the two girls in the common room, watched by another,
cursed in defeat.
“Damn it! Next time,
then. He’ll come around,” suggested
Lavender as she and Parvati headed toward their own stairs.
Cho was boiling with rage as she watched the two Gryffindor
girls walking away in defeat. She was
glad she was now covered in Harry’s Cloak because she knew her anger would not
allow her to keep the charm. As the two
girls stepped on the first stair heading up, Cho was also grateful for the dim
light in the room masking her wand coming from under the Cloak and swishing
purposefully at the backs of the horny girls.
Then, the Ravenclaw simply smiled as she laid Harry’s Cloak on the
ground where he could find it, and went back to her Tower.

The joy of watching Lavender and Parvati try to explain the
buzz cuts they woke up with that morning to the rest of the school was
entertaining for the Ravenclaw. The
seventh year nearly expected a ‘thank you’ from Ginny for hexing the girls that
molested her boyfriend, though she was sure Harry never told her about the
events in the common room.
The hexed girls nearly distracted Cho enough to not ponder
why Harry hadn’t looked at her all day, though he would have come to make love
to her the night before. Irregardless,
the pretty girl was going to try again that night, feeling sure to see Harry
pacing the common room, needing her as well, and horny-girl free.
Except for her, of course.
“Foreseer,” Cho said confidently in the middle of the
night. He may not have looked at her
that day, but he would sure be unable to take his eyes off her that night. She may have been wearing her school robe,
but the pretty Asian girl wore nothing more.
Her plan was to climb into Harry’s bed, startling him of course, and if
he began to protest, she’d simply open her robe to shut him up. Then after he blissfully ravaged her body,
she’d yell at him for waiting so long.
Cho couldn’t wait.
Walking quietly into the room of sixth year Gryffindors, she
was greeted with the snores she knew so well.
But there was only one she cared to hear AFTER she had fucked him
unconscious. Finally making it to the
bed by the window, Cho took a breath before peeking into the curtains.
At one glance, her heart broke.
Harry was a sleep on his side with his back toward her. But his back wasn’t only toward her, but also
a pretty redhead. Ginny was asleep as
well with her arm draped over Harry’s bare torso as she wore nothing but her
bra. Familiar scents hit the Ravenclaw’s
nose; a fresh woodsy smell, a flowery scent, and the unmistakable smell of sex. Cho couldn’t move at the moment as she wished
she couldn’t breathe anymore. Her love
had already had sex that evening and with his girlfriend no less. Though the raven-haired girl knew there was
nothing wrong with that, she felt hurt, she felt stupid, and she felt like she
should run away.
But as Cho turned her feet toward the door, ready to release
the open hangings, she noticed something else.
There was a wide distance on the tiny bed between the Golden Couple,
which was odd for two people who had just made love. The Ravenclaw was usually, and quickly, put
in a vice grip after sex with Harry. It
was only Ginny’s tiny hand on Harry’s torso as he seemed to be as far away from
her as possible. In addition to that,
there was something pink held to Harry’s nose.
Cho looked harder into the curtains, allowing the moonlight to grace her
love’s face.
The Ravenclaw finally found out where her pink panties she
wore Christmas morning had disappeared too.
Heartbroken, Cho walked back to her Tower. “He still has my…panties... He still wants me…” the seventh year tried to convince herself, though she wasn’t
sure it was working. “I know he
does…?” Her mind suggested otherwise
while her heart pushed for conviction.
And those two areas simply battled on the field of her soul, chipping,
breaking, tearing away bits of newly mended pieces.
Cho didn’t know what to do, but her familiar friend was
revisiting. Hurt. That she knew she could do well. The pretty girl just didn’t want too. It wasn’t fair for her to have too. But what choice did she have? She didn’t have the control Harry told her
she did.
**************************************************************
The Ravenclaw wandered the halls Thursday night at her wits
in. She couldn’t stay in her room,
smiling and laughing with her friends as they begged her too when all she felt
was pain. She also abandoned the idea of
going back to Gryffindor
Tower, tired of running
into more heartache. It hurt, not having
him, not talking to him, not being held by him.
Cho abandoned the idea of doing homework that evening in the library as
a distraction because her mind was too cluttered with memories of Harry. So she took too walking the halls, visiting
the areas they made new memories in over the holiday, again.
After several locations, she finally happened upon the
hallway he took her in on the window ledge after they made love on Snape’s
desk. When Cho turned the corner in the
lonely corridor, however, she found herself not so alone. On that very window ledge, Harry was leaning
against it. The seventh year’s heart
began to pound at the sight of him, and damn near felt like exploding when he
finally noticed her presence. Unable to
speak, but having no intentions of going away, Cho walked down the hall until
she stood in front of Harry. Harry,
however, seemed unable to look at her since noticing her in the hall. The Ravenclaw stood in front of him, quietly,
patiently, listening to all the voices in her head and body yelling different
instructions, unsaid words, and unsatisfied needs.
But after a minute went by, then another without meeting her
eye or saying a word, Cho wondered if he wanted her to leave. She wasn’t going too, not without an
explanation, a kiss or something, but she did wonder. But then her curiosity was satisfied, though
she nearly jump in the air from being startled, when Harry’s hands made contact
with her bits of bare waist visible from under her short sweater. The feel of his lightly calloused hands on
her skin seemed to send rockets of heat through her body. It had been a week since he last touched her
and she felt it to be an eternity. She
wanted more. But the seventh year didn’t
react to him right away as she noticed that strange, sad, or confused look in
his eyes as he watched his hands touching her skin.
Suddenly, Harry pulled Cho forward, the force of it making
her arms fly forward to rest on his chest.
As his hands slid up her back under her sweater, Cho was biting her lip
to keep herself steady and allow him to advance them further. But then he suddenly kissed her, and waiting
much longer for the Ravenclaw was not an option.
Her arms flew around his neck, pulling in further for their
long awaited, desperately needed kiss.
Their hands became aggressive, grabbing hair and groping flesh. Their teeth crashed into each other on
several occasions both seeming fit to devour the other. The need to be together was heavy in the air
and Cho felt sex wouldn’t be enough, not for her at least. She was laced with the crazy feeling of
wanting to be inside of him, locked and secure, instead of the other way
around. But the traditional way would
have to suffice for the time being.
“Take me, Harry!
Please?” Cho begged in a whisper after pulling back from his mouth for
air. “Right here…” she added before
taking his mouth urgently once more.
Reaching between them, Cho undid his pants. Harry, still kissing her breathless, lifted
the pretty girl around the waist, spun them around and placed her on the
ledge. Cho’s head met the window again
and the Gryffindor relentlessly kissed her while molesting her breasts under
her sweater. The seventh year wasn’t
going to last much longer without him inside her and she quickly undid her own
pants, hoping he’d take the initiative and yank them off her body.
But Harry didn’t. He
continued to kiss her lips, then face and promptly devoured her neck, marking
her so wonderfully, Cho couldn’t help but smile at what she’d find there later
on. She wrapped her jean covered legs
around his waist, and pulled his mid-section to meet hers. The pretty girl felt the erection solely
meant for her, and she wanted it.
“Please, Harry,” her whisper begged in his ear. “I want you…now…”
His mouth covered her once more as his hands slid down her
body. Cho noticed his kisses stayed
aggressive while his hands slowed their pace.
She was sure he was meant to tease her into insanity before fucking her
into it. And soon both of his hands were
on her hips, inside her jeans, groping the hidden flesh. Cho’s hands stayed lost in Harry’s hair as he
pulled her ever closer to grind his erection into her heated, covered
femininity. Slowly, she felt the skin of
her waist even further revealed and she smiled on his lips in
anticipation. But the moment the
coolness of the window touched her heated skin, everything stopped.
Cho opened her eyes and blinked twice in disbelief. Harry was no longer kissing, no longer
touching her, and most unfortunately for the seventh year, no longer holding
her. The reluctant-in-more-ways-then-one
hero stared at his perfect imperfection.
Brown confused eyes locked with also confused, then fearful, then
hurt-filled, and finally sadden green eyes.
When they lowered shamefully to the ground, Cho could hear her heart
beating in her ears.
“Harry…” she said desperately, reaching for him. But for the first time ever, Harry pulled out
of Cho’s grasp. The Ravenclaw heard a
tearing she only heard once when Harry told Ginny he loved her, and she knew
where the sound was coming from.
Clutching her heart as she slid off the ledge, Cho reached for Harry again. Again he backed away, this time shaking his
head in the process. As tears began to
cloud her eyes, the hurt girl swallowed hard at the lump in her throat.
“Harry…” Cho whimpered once more.
The final call of his name caused the Gryffindor to slam his
hand into his hair, balling up the unruly tresses, looking set to pull them
out. But instead of creating a bald
spot, Harry turned from her and ran away, leaving Cho alone in the hall with
tears falling down her face.
Instead of the window ledge she had been perched on, Cho
slid down to the stone cold floor, in the cold corridor, feeling cold inside as
she cried into her knees. She didn’t
understand what just happened, and what had been happening the past week. The pretty girl felt sure Harry had been
missing her as much as she missed him, regardless of the lack of
attention. Cho felt sure in her heart
that Harry hadn’t lied to her during their time together when he said that he
couldn’t go very long without her, that he needed her, that she was all he
wanted. And the seventh year felt sure
that having given her love everything he wanted, even breaking up with Cormac,
would show him that he was all she wanted as well without having to say ‘I love
you’. Yet, Cho was alone in a corridor
they had been intimate in before, crying on the floor, not knowing what she did
wrong.
And Cho knew this wasn’t an issue of acceptance. She had accepted that she was only his
punching bag. She accepted that she
wanted sex, she wanted it often, and she only wanted him to provide it. She accepted that she had fallen in love with
her assailant, her rapist. She even
accepted that he may never love her, and that he loved someone else. She accepted that although that all was fact,
he would still cherish her in a way she knew no one else could. And she even accepted the fact that after
being spoiled for eleven days, she’d have to go back to watching him with
someone else and being neglected for awhile.
But what just happened, her being turned down and turned away from what
was hers, yes, hers, was unacceptable.
Harry belonged to her.
Cho fought with herself, with him, and for him. The Ravenclaw was NOT to be turned down,
especially after having been promised she’d never be without him. After he promised that they’d make love every
day or sleep with each other every night.
And after he promised he’d never lie to her, making all the other
promises so believable. No, he didn’t
have a right to renege on his promises, on those whispered words, on her. She wasn’t going to stand for it. She just didn’t know what to do about it.
