Disclaimer: I do not own Harry Potter, nor any of the characters from the books or movies. I do not make any money from the writing of this story. |
A/N: Well, last chapter! Hope you all enjoy it!
PsychoIOU: Another 2-3 hundred chapters?lol I’m with you!
We need some nice lovely, angsty, but still lovely, stressful but still
lovely, Harry/Cho stories in the world!
I do have other HP stories…clean unfortunately, on another site. If you click my name, it will take you to my
profile. The homepage I posted was to
the other site I post on. Thank you so
much for reading and reviewing, I really appreciate it!
Purebloodprince: Roller coaster ride? Amen!
I couldn’t make it easy, now could I?
Where’s the fun in that?lol
Thanks again for reading and reviewing, oh, and liking the story…thus
far! Lol
Jake: Were you saying you wouldn’t get any more
Harry/Cho…doing naughty things since it was the last chapter? Hmph…
Thanks for reading and reviewing, Jake.
I’ve loved your perspective on things.
You seemed to see Harry’s side really well.
Salon Kitty: My buddy!lol
First of all “I hope this doesn’t end with a murder/suicide” I laughed
at that! Too funny. Following my pattern well though!LOL As for responding to reviews. I must say, if a person takes the time out of
their lives to read some nut’s story, that’s a blessing first for a
writer. Second, if that person takes the
time to actually say a few encouraging words, that’s heaven for a writer. Your detail reviews, words of encouragement,
and discouragement on a few occasions, are worthy of well past, er, passed
heaven! So I see it as a level of a
respect to respond as best I can to people who pity me enough to read my
stuff. Thank you so very, very much.
Btw…although I’ve
posted this story, I could still use a beta if you ever get bored. I have a story on another site that I posted
completely, have tons of reviews and over 89,000 reads, and I’m just now having
it beta’d. If people liked it in its
crap form, I figured new readers will appreciate it in a better form. But let me know, no pressure. Thanks again!
Chapter 37 – But…
The heart-broken Ravenclaw had sat on the stone floor for so
long, her backside had gone numb. But
she didn’t feel it. There was far too
much anger coursing through the pretty girl’s veins to worry about it as she
contemplated her next move. Besides, her
present stalking through the empty corridors gave her back the feeling in her
bottom.
Cho knew it was late, very late as she walked down the halls
toward a Tower. But she didn’t care who
she may run into because they wouldn’t be able to stop her. She’d get what she wanted; she’d see to that.
“Foreseer!” she snapped to a fat lady in a pink nightdress.
“Well, I never!” said the Fat Lady indignantly as she swung
open the portrait.
“And you never will!” Cho retorted stepping into a House not
her own.
She knew because of the hour, no one would be awake. Or so she thought, she had been wrong
before. Cho stopped and backed up when
she saw from the dimly lit fireplace that a bushy-haired girl was sitting and
studying alone. Thinking quickly, Cho
took out her wand, tapped her forehead, and hoped with all her heart that her
anger wouldn’t cause her to reappear suddenly before making it to her
destination. Holding her breath seemed
to help as she rushed for the boys’ stairs, taking them quickly but quietly.
Finally, Cho was in a room she had made love, had sex, and
was fucked brilliantly in on several occasions.
Tonight, she’d add to that number, regardless if the party is willing or
not, regardless if the party in alone in his bed this time or not. The Imperius Curse works not only on
raven-haired beauties, as Harry had told her.
And the raven-haired girl was desperate enough to use it.
However, the Gryffindor hero was alone in his bed. Cho had a clear view of this since one of his
hangings was opened. He looked like he
had been struggling in his sleep, a bead of sweat tracing his trademark. The Ravenclaw didn’t know what her love was
fighting against or for in his sleep, but she didn’t care at the moment. Quickly, quietly, she began to strip away her
invisible clothes in the room full of boys.
Naked, she flicked her wand at Harry’s bed, issuing a silencing charm,
and then another that would keep others from intruding. Then, remembering her DA lessons, the
Ravenclaw non-verbally stunned the Gryffindor in his sleep. Climbing into his bed and lowering the
hangings, Cho pulled Harry’s blanket down.
She administered another charm that would un-stiffen his stunned body,
while she had a chance to stiffen another part of it.
The seventh year stripped Harry of his pajamas making him as
naked as she was. She wondered if that
was how he did her on the occasions she’d wake up to him already tasting,
touching, fucking her bare body. If that
were the case, justice was surely being served.
Cho began stroking his limp manhood rapidly as she flicked her wand
again toward him, bounding his arms above his head. He wasn’t going to stop her this time. Cho was meant to take what she wanted.
And soon.
Harry was hard. His
prick wept from her handling, begging her to taste him. And she did.
Cho took his dick into her mouth and began sucking her love. The taste of him after so long was so
intoxicating, she forgot for a moment she was angry with him. The pretty girl took her time licking his
head, teasing his hole, and stroking the shaft while sucking the helmet. Releasing his thick shaft, Cho took a breath
and eased him even further into her mouth until he hit the back of her
throat. She wished her lips to his base,
but Harry was far too big for her hot, wanton mouth. Deep-throating him as best she could, the
Ravenclaw spread his legs a little.
Taking his dick out of her mouth for a moment to lick two of her
fingers, she slid them into his ring of muscles as she shoved him back into her
mouth. Sucking him and finger-fucking
him, Cho felt her stunned love pulsating on her tongue. Her heated cunt was swollen, wet and highly
jealous of what her mouth was presently worshipping. Cho knew it was time to take her love.
Releasing Harry from her mouth, but taking the time to watch
her fingers disappear and reappear in his ass, Cho had to push herself to stop
and mount him. Climbing on top him, she
coated his lips with hers, leaving his taste on his mouth. The Asian beauty rubbed the tips of her pert
nipples on his chest as she kissed his unresponsive mouth, then fed on his
collar bone, and properly marked his chest with her teeth. She hoped Ginny would find it before he
did. But Cho would fantasize about that
later, for right now, there was a hard dick standing at attention that belong
strictly to her.
Holding his shaft in her hand once more, Cho lifted herself
up and allowed his weeping head to brush a few times against her clit before
sliding him deep inside her body. She
moaned so loud at the feel of him, she was glad she had put a silencing charm
on his bed. And the circular motions her
hips made on his manhood, made the seventh year moan even more. Throwing her head back as she fucked him, Cho
held her breasts and pinched her nipples since Harry couldn’t at the moment. “Mmmm… Oh, Harry…” she moaned as she rode his
stunned body.
He felt good to the Ravenclaw mounted on his dick. Cho’s body responded in all the same ways it
always had, adjusting to him, squeezing him, unable to get enough of him. But there was some things missing that the
seventh year needed. Two of them were
bound above his head, and he wasn’t getting those back until she came. The other two were closed having been so when
she stunned him. Finally, the last bit
was without the ability to move and moan and call her name and beg for
more. Cho was beginning to get desperate
for those things, but she knew the moment she released his arms, it would be
over.
His eyes wouldn’t rake over her body and penetrate her eyes
like they normally did during sex.
Instead, they’d glare at her as she took him, or worse, wear that odd
look he’s had in them since New Year’s.
His hands would simply lift her slender frame off of him, instead of
flipping her on her back, grabbing hold of her headboard for leverage and
fucking her senseless. And his mouth
would sneer at her, yell at her, tell her ‘stop’ or ‘no’, and that he doesn’t
want it…doesn’t want her.
But the Ravenclaw knew she was in control here. Finally.
She came to take what she wanted, and she was getting…most of it at
present. It didn’t matter what he’d say
or how he’d look, she’d keep fucking him right there in his bed until his
blessed spunk sputtered up inside her.
Cho grabbed her wand, and then his she knew to be under his pillow. Holding the magical sticks for a moment, the
seventh year took time to ride him harder, pushing her and him closer to
climax. The pretty girl wanted her
orgasm before she had to deal with what was to come from his being
un-stunned. She moaned and whimpered as
the bed squeaked under him from her fucking.
Sparks
flew from the tips of the two wands when she held them both down on the bed,
before bouncing her wet snatch up and down on his dick. Then, as she felt herself getting close, Cho
took the two wands, lit Harry’s, and then flicked hers at his chest.
“OH, GOD!” Harry screamed at the top of his lungs, being
woken up to such an extreme build-up inside his body. In his scream, the Gryffindor with his eyes
closed, attempted to sit up unaware of what was happening to his body. But Cho continued her rough ride as she
watched him, surprised that his scream wasn’t followed by an immense
orgasm. “LOVE?” Harry nearly shouted in
shock, still foolishly trying to sit up when he opened his eyes. “What…”
But it was then, as he looked fit to grab her, did Harry learn that his
arms were not at his disposal.
“Cho…what’s the…what’s the…” he stammered, her pussy clinging to his
dick making it difficult to speak properly.
“Merlin, Love!” he said laying his head back harshly, pulling at his
restraints.
“Feels good to you, doesn’t it?” Cho said, huskily and
surly.
Harry was already whimpering like a girl under her rough
ride. He nodded in response while
squeezing his eyes shut at the sensations it caused.
“No! You’re to say
it, Harry! Say it feels good to you!”
Cho demanded.
Harry’s head was thrashing back and forth on his pillow as
she fucked him. “Yes! Yes, Love!
It feels good!”
“I feel good to you, Harry!
Me!” she nearly shouted.
“YOU, Love! Yes! You feel good to me! You do, Cho!
Oh, God, Love!” he replied loudly to the air above him, pulling hard on
his restraints.
The sight of his strong arms flexing as he pulled and his
taut stomach muscles and lean chest doing the same, drove the Ravenclaw wild
with desire. But her anger carried her
through her thoughts. Pinching her
nipples hard while doing her best to ground him into a pile of dust, the
seventh year tried to gain some control over herself. “I’m the ONLY one that feels this good to
you, Harry! Say it!” she ordered.
“YES, Love! You are
the only one…oh…oh…God…yes, Love…that feels…this…oh yes…good!” he whimpered,
his neck arching in the process as he spoke to his headboard. “Cho…my arms…please…let them…”
“NO!” she growled.
“You’ll stop this…US! But you
can’t…stop US! You don’t have that
RIGHT!” With that, the Ravenclaw
clenched her feminine muscles on the Boy Hero and he writher painfully
underneath her as he yelped.
“You’re…trying too…but you CAN’T!”
“But, Love…” he whimpered.
“NO!” Cho growled, interrupting him. “Say it, Harry! Say you missed me! Say you need me! Say it…like you did before! SAY IT, DAMNIT!”
“I DO, CHO! I
DO! I miss you, Love! I need…OH, LOVE…SSSS….I need YOU! But…but…Cho…”
The word ‘but’ was hurting her heart each time he uttered
it. There were to be no ‘buts’, he
needed her, wanted her, missed her without question. The Ravenclaw closed her eyes as she rode
him, unable to look at him any more.
“No…” she whimpered quietly, feeling a lump in her throat larger than
the appendage shoved in her pussy.
“My arms…Cho…please…” he begged once more.
“No!” she shouted, riding him harder, still refusing to look
at him. “NOT until…”
…you see…you KNOW that
I love you, Harry! Not until…you love
me… NO, you DO love me! You do!
I know you do! You’re just…
afraid to say it! That’s it! I feel it!
I know it! she shouted in her
mind, in her heart, in her breaking soul.
I…pray that I do…
Cho thought, feeling her mind doing the split it had done before her holiday
break. She felt herself desperate, crazy
and completely out of her own control once again. Say it,
Harry… Say it! Just…say you…love
me…PLEASE! she shouted so loudly in her mind, she was sure Harry could hear
it.
“Say it, Harry!” Cho whimpered out loud, leaning down to his
face with her eyes still closed. “Say
it…please, Harry…” she whispered desperately.
“Say…say…say…you…love me!”
The first tear fell from her closed eyes as she covered
Harry’s mouth with hers, trying to kiss away her pain. And unlike in his stunned state, the
Gryffindor kissed her back with as much passion as he could muster without the
use of his arms.
“I do!” he whispered just as desperately into her lips when
she released his to sniff back her tears.
“I love you, Cho!”
The Ravenclaw opened her eyes and stopped the movement of
her hips. She blinked in shock, allowing
a tear to fall on Harry’s chin in the process.
“You…you do?” Cho hoped she could
hear the answer through the sound of her heart pounding in her ears.
Harry’s eyes looked fit to imitate hers shortly, his green
ones tainted with red streaks. He nodded
sadly at her. “I do. I…love you so much! And I’ve loved you…for so long. But…”
But Harry’s words were interrupted when the Ravenclaw heard
the dreadful word, and decided it best to kiss it away. However, the kiss wasn’t just to stop his
words but to have the ability to kiss the one that loves HER as well. With a flick of her wand, Harry’s arms were
free. In one swift movement, and never
releasing each others mouth, Cho was flipped on her back. Harry grabbed the edge of his bed and began
taking her just as roughly and just as lovingly as he always had. Cho was nearly delirious from the sensation
of being fucked well, kissed well, and loved as well. And it didn’t take long for the Ravenclaw to
send vibrations of the plateau of ecstasy through Harry’s lips as she came on
her love, and he came hard inside her.
They continued to kiss as their stiff bodies began to
liquefy after their orgasms. Cho’s arms
were locked around Harry’s neck with as much strength as she could muster after
an orgasm to keep his kiss. But it
wouldn’t seem she had to worry as Harry practically kissed her into the
mattress.
Still link together by their life-forces, Harry finally
broke their kiss. “I love you, Cho,” he
whispered to her lips, sniffing hard for some reason.
Cho smiled, ignoring the sniff as she looked into his
eyes. “Harry, I…I love you, too,” she
admitted to him for the first time. Or
so she thought.
Harry sniffed once more.
“I know,” he said sadly, looking away from her eyes.
“You do?” Cho asked, narrowing her eyes at him.
Harry nodded.
“Yes. You…said it…the last
night…well, early morning that we made love.”
Now Cho was thoroughly confused.
She didn’t even remember making love in the early morning. She just remembered making up for what she
caused in the Room of Requirement right after in his bed. “You don’t…remember, do you?” Harry asked,
his eyes watching hers once more. Cho
shook her head honestly. “I think you
were half-asleep. But I…did ask
permission to make love to you before I…did…”
“I believe you, Harry,” she smiled, kissing his lips. “And it’s not like I’d say ‘no’ to you.”
He nodded again, exhaling miserably above her. “You…whispered it afterward. You never looked so beautiful, Love, saying
those words to me. To ME! But…the joy I felt…for that moment changed
rapidly to fear and…shame. It was what I
had wanted for so long, you loving me.
But I just knew it would…never happen.
‘How could she ever love me?’
I thought. ‘Why would she ever love me after what I’ve done to her?’” Harry paused to take a breath. Cho could see his eyes brimming with tears in
the wand light. “I was sure you
wouldn’t…but then…I didn’t care anymore.
I decided to let my despicable heart treat you the way it wanted too; to
love you, though it didn’t know how too, and though you would never love me
back. And I was able to…ignore my mind
telling me how stupid, how unworthy, how pathetic I was trying to show you
something I knew nothing about, especially after what I’d done to you in my
madness! But I am…just as stupid and
unworthy as my mind was telling me! I
used you, hurt you, and threatened you while changing you into something you
would have never been had I not touched you!”
“Harry…” Cho said, pleadingly, wanting to stop his painful words.
“No, Love, it’s true!
That’s how I knew I didn’t have a right to ask you…to be…mine. I was going too the day before I
asked…Ginny…after we…you were with me willingly for the second time in the
storage room. But you hated me almost as
much as I hated myself, so I knew it was a bad idea…”
Cho was shocked by his words, his truthful words, she did
hate him at that time. “You were…going
to…ask me to be…”
Harry nodded while squeezing his eyes shut, holding back the
tears. “I…wasn’t in love with you…yet. I don’t know what it was I was feeling at the
time besides insanity. Just something
deep inside of me wanted you, and not just…sexually. But I couldn’t…ask you. So I just ignored it, asked Ginny instead
and…tried to let you be. But I
couldn’t…” he sniffed hard.
“But then…I did fall in love with you, Cho. I’m not sure when it happened, but I knew it
the night I left for Diagon Alley. When
I left you in the hall in front of your door, I knew then that you…you…owned my
heart and my pathetic soul. And I never
felt so…low in my whole life…” Harry
stopped his explanation, as tears fell from the brave boy’s eyes. Cho felt one of her own trickle down her
temple as she wiped his away. “…to love
a girl, I hurt so badly…
“And I know, Cho, that I’ll always…love you. But deserve you…” he sniffed as he wiped the
tear away from her temple. “I had no
right hurting you, trying to control you, falling in love with you!” he said miserably. “And I surely don’t deserve…you loving
me… You can’t, Love…” Harry swallowed
hard. “You just…can’t!”
“But I do, Harry…
I’ve…” Cho interjected, holding his wet cheek.
“I knew it! At
least…I should have known it…” Harry began to ramble. “The Tower…the Dark Tower…I…you…were
going too…too…kill yourself! All because
of me!” he declared in a loud whisper.
The truthful words sounded horrifying and hurtful to the Ravenclaw. Her soul felt even more wounded knowing he
knew of her absolute weakest moment.
“But it’s…okay now, Harry…you love me too…” Cho said,
hopefully.
“It’s not okay, Love!
I would have…gone straight over that ledge with you, Love, I had
been…just a few…seconds…late!” Harry whimpered, his face contorted into an
expression of excruciating pain. “You
were…there…you were going too…because of me…because of what I…did…” his words
began to trail off as water dripped from his eyes. “And because…I’m not…man enough to…own up
to…my own feelings…fearful that I’d lose…”
Cho, unable to watch him suffer, kissed his salty, trembling
lips. Harry’s lips were stiff under her
attempt until he pulled them away, mumbling self-deprecating things. The Ravenclaw didn’t understand why this
couldn’t be a happy moment for them. He
loved her, and in her insanity, she loved him too. All was right with the world as far as she was
concern. But maybe through his pain he
didn’t realize that no matter what happened in their past, Cho wanted him
now. She had earned her love, and he had
earned her heart regardless of what he had done to her before.
“Harry…” she whispered to his mumbling lips. “Harry…” Cho whispered again when he shook
his head on her forehead. In one swift
movement, she rolled them onto his back.
Easing his spent manhood out of her, Cho watched him avoid her eyes by
closing his. “Harry…you said once before
that…you’d…never let me go and that…you’d do…anything for me. Did you mean that?” she asked, lifting his
chin until he looked into her eyes. The
sad emerald gaze stayed locked on her as he nodded slowly. “No, Love,” she whispered softly, caressing
his cheek, “say it for me.”
Swallowing hard as he watched her eyes, the reluctant hero
spoke, “I meant it, Cho. I’d…do anything
for you…”
Cho smiled lightly and kissed his lips just the same. “Do you…want to make me…happy?”
Harry nodded, sniffing hard.
“I…do…I’ve tried so many times by…”
But his words were stopped by her finger resting gently on his lips to
quiet him.
“There’s only one thing that could make me happier than I’ve
ever been, Harry…” Cho said soothingly.
Her blood was racing, her heart was pounding in her chest and ears, but
Cho kept her composure, and managed to keep her light smile. She kissed his lips once more, but he still
hadn’t loosened them for her. But that would
all change, she was sure. “Be with me,
Harry. I…want us to be…together…forever. I love you.”
Harry’s eyes shut hard, and a stream of water fell from
under his black lashes. “I…love you,
too, Cho,” he said, opening his hurt-filled eyes. Cho continued to smile. “But I…can’t be with you…” Her smile disappeared. “I…won’t.”
A pain shot through her chest.
“I’m…sorry, Love…”
The Ravenclaw felt like she had suddenly gone deaf. All the sound in the world had disappeared as
she lay thunderstruck by the hurtful words.
He shot her down. The person she
earned, deserved, nearly killed herself for said he wouldn’t be with her. Cho’s world suddenly shattered into a million
pieces as it had that day on the Hogwarts Express taking her soul right along
with it.
Springing up from the bed quickly, Cho pushed through the
hangings, unable to feel a thing. She
couldn’t hear what Harry’s moving mouth was saying as she yanked her jeans up
her body and ran from the room as she threw on her sweater. Leaving her shoes behind didn’t bother her
bare feet on the harsh stone steps. And
she couldn’t hear the other set of bare feet chasing behind her. But as she crossed the common room, one sound
penetrated her temporary deafness.
“CHO?” called Hermione, standing up and wearing an
expression of pure shock. But the
Ravenclaw didn’t stop at the voice. It
took another and a hand.
“Love, please, wait!” Harry yelled behind her, grabbing her
shoulder and turning her around.
Cho’s red cheeks were drenched, but she swatted angrily at
Harry’s hands. “No!” she wanted to yell,
but whimpered instead. “Don’t touch me,
Harry!”
“Harry…” began Hermione, confusion evident in the clever
girl’s voice. “What’s going on
here? Why is…Cho…here and why…”
Harry was ignoring his best friend’s words as he watched the
Ravenclaw. “Cho, I’m sorry! It’s just…it’s better this way…for you! I can’t…I’m not…I don’t deserve you!”
“I make the decisions on who I deserve and who I want, not
you, Harry!” Cho snapped through tears.
“Harry!” called Hermione once more. Once more, she was ignored.
“I told you the truth when I said I’d do anything to make
you happy. This is it, Love! This is your proper freedom! This will…make you happy…in the long run…” Harry
tried to explain, and then looked to Hermione.
“Tell her, Love. Tell her what
I’ve done! Tell her! Hermione…will do the right thing regardless
of her being my best mate!”
The room was silent.
“Harry…what…did you…do…” Hermione asked, fearfully.
Cho looked from Hermione to Harry, and shook her head. “No, Harry…”
“Cho, listen to reason!” Harry snapped. “She can…save you! She will!”
“From what?” Hermione asked.
“I don’t need bloody saving, Harry! I need you!
That’s all I want!” Cho snapped in return. “But you…don’t want me…” she said sadly,
wiping the tears from her face.
Harry stepped forward with his arms outstretched, looking
ready to pull the seventh year into his arms.
“I do…Cho…I…” But he lowered his
arms, never touching her, leaving her to ache in his presence. Cho wrapped her arms around herself willing
her body steady as the pain seemed fit to buckle her knees. “But…why can’t you see…this is…for the
best? I’ve…driven you mad, Love. I’m clear out of my mind as well! I can’t continue to…do this to you! I love you too much for that, Cho!
“Harry!” Hermione gasped.
“So it’s…better that I lose what little I have left of my
mind, the part that’s telling me this is the right decision, in Azkaban where I
belong!”
“No!” Cho whimpered loudly, covering her ears and shaking
her head.
“…I’ll go mad anyway!
Without you, I’ll go mad! To see
you with…someone else, will surely drive me crazy! And if we were together and you…came to your
senses about us…about me, Love… To lose
you would…” The hurting Gryffindor took
a heavy breath and shook his head.
“Everything that’s happened to me…” he began again, quietly, “…that will
happen to me…on top of everything I’ve done to you and what I’ve put you
through… It’s better that I’m away from
you when I do…go completely over the edge.
And I will, Love!” he nearly shouted, that craze look invading his green
eyes. “I’ve…hurt you once…twice…in my
insanity, I don’t want to do anything like that again!” He lowered his eyes toward the floor of the
common room.
“You wouldn’t, Harry!” Cho pleaded with him, lowering her
hands from her ears. “You
wouldn’t…couldn’t…hurt me anymore than you’re doing right now! Please…”
“Yes, I could! I’m
not strong enough to…love you! I’ve kept
my feelings inside all this time not only because I know I’m unworthy of love,
especially your love, Cho, but because I was terrified of losing…them!”
Cho was suddenly confused in her pain. “Them?
Them, who, Harry?” Hermione
looking like she had the same question.
“The Weasleys! I’ve
already hurt Ginny, even though she doesn’t know it yet…” he began.
Hermione narrowed her eyes.
“But, Harry…”
“…and she didn’t deserve it either,” he continued sadly,
ignoring his friend once more. “They
won’t have anything to do with me if they find out. And I’ll be…without the only real bit of
family I know! I’ve lost…my
godfather. And Dursleys are…” The reluctant hero swallowed hard as the two
clever witches watched him. “I
just…don’t want to lose that…them! I’d
suffer through a broken heart…staying with her…just to keep them at least. I don’t…deserve your kind of love, Cho. But what I truly deserve is to lose everyone
by being in Azkaban…where I belong!” he growled, pulling at his hair in
frustration. “So just tell her,
Cho! Please, Love…” he begged, lowering
his head. “Allow me to suffer where
I…belong. Because I know…if I’m free…I
can’t…WON’T leave you alone.”
Cho wiped fruitlessly at the tears on her face. She sniffed hard as she watched the
Gryffindor watched the floor between them.
The Ravenclaw straightened herself up, and shook her head, apparently to
Hermione because Harry wasn’t watching.
“No,” she said simply with a sniff.
“I’m not telling her anything!
I’m…going back to my Tower. This
isn’t…over, Harry. Not just because you
said so! This is not just about you
anymore!” she tried her best to say threateningly as she turned away from the
Gryffindors.
“Then…I’ll tell her, Cho!” she heard Harry say to her back,
stopping her in her tracks. She was sure
he wasn’t serious.
“Tell me what, Harry?
What’s happened between the two of you?
And what about Ginny? Harry,
you’ve…cheated on her?” Hermione asked, desperately.
“I have, Hermione. I
love…Cho. But it…doesn’t matter because
I’ve hurt her…in the worse way,” Harry paused for a moment and Cho turned
around. “On the train ride to school,
when I went looking for Malfoy, I…” The
Ravenclaw watched her love lower his head shamefully. “She was…alone in her…compartment and…I…I…”
“NO!” Cho shouted, running top speed to Harry, crashing into
him. She threw her arms around his neck
and begged. “No, Harry! Please don’t!
Please, Love, don’t tell! Harry…”
“But, Love…” he whimpered over her shoulder before closing
his arms around her tightly. “I…have to
do this! I have to…save you!” he
explained to her hair.
Cho lifted her head back and placed her lips on Harry’s,
mixing their tastes of tears. The
seventh year was relieved when Harry’s once stiff lips, kissed her back as he
squeezed her. Maybe there was hope, she
thought. “Harry…” she whispered to his
lips, “if you…do this…it won’t save me!
Please believe me! It
will…destroy me, Harry! I…need you! I’ve earned my right to be with you! If you think you’ve…hurt me in the past…you
have no…idea what you’ll do to me now!
Please, Harry…don’t…hurt me anymore!” she pleaded then buried her head
into his neck and cried, begging incoherently.
It was mixed feelings of sadness and comfort being in
Harry’s arms for what seemed like forever to the Ravenclaw. She was sad at the prospect of really losing
him forever. And yet, her internal call
for help that screamed for him when she hurt or was scared, was being comforted
in his arms. But these mixed emotions
didn’t faze the pretty girl. She was in
love with her rapist after all, begging him not to go to jail for what he did
because she couldn’t live without him.
Cho knew she was just as crazy as the Boy Hero she loved.
“Love…” he whispered.
“No…” she whimpered, tightening her grasp.
Harry released her waist, and tried to gently pull her arms
from around his neck. “Cho…listen to
me…” he began quietly as she struggled to get back around his neck, shaking her
head and protesting. “Please,
Beautiful…listen to me.” Cho stopped her
struggling and looked into his wet eyes.
“I…don’t want to hurt you…anymore than I have, Love. Believe me, please. But…”
“No, Harry!” she interjected at the hateful word, jerking
forward to get back around his neck.
“…give me tonight…to…think about this, please,” he offered
pleadingly.
Cho’s eyes widened then narrowed suspiciously in a matter of
moments. “No! It’s a trick…you’ll…tell…and be gone by morning! No, Harry, I…”
“No, Love, I won’t! I
promise you. You know…despite of what
I’ve…kept from you…I never lie to you, Cho.
Look into my eyes, Love, tell me if I’m lying to you…” he said,
earnestly, staring into her wet eyes.
Cho stared into his equally wet eyes as fear coursed through
her body. She was scared to believe him,
to trust he wouldn’t ‘do the right thing’ and turn himself in. But it was a double edge sword for the pretty
girl because she did trust him. Cho had
to believe him. Her love wouldn’t lie to
her.
“You’ll… Promise me,
Harry…you’ll…be here in the morning!
Promise me, or I’m not leaving this room!” Cho demanded.
Harry pulled her close and kissed her lips. “I…promise you, Cho. I’ll be here…I just…” he paused and exhaled
in frustration. “I promise.”
Cho considered him for a moment feeling all the emotions of
fear, anxiety, sadness, and heart ache running through her. But she conceded to her love’s request, and
let him go. “Okay…”
The Ravenclaw walked backward toward the portrait hole,
watching Harry as if it would be the last time she’d ever see him.
“I love you…” he said, wiping his wet cheek as he watched
her as if it would be the last time he’d ever see her.
Cho’s sore heart soared lightly once again at his
words. “I love you, too…”
Out of sight of her love and his friend, Cho pushed open the
portrait. “Hermione, would you…please
wake Ginny for me…” she heard him say before stepping out of a House not her
own.
********************************
The Ravenclaw was on pins and needles all the way back to
her Tower. Sleeping was not an option
either as she simply climbed on her bed, rested her back on the headboard and
held her knees to her chest. Cho took
turns crying and going numb. Then
finally, the seventh year went through five steps a person would take in
hearing of a fatal illness.
“No, this can’t be real.
He wants me, he’s just…afraid of…our love! That’s it!
He can’t possibly want to go to Azkaban!
He would never do that! Noble
heart be damned!” Cho told herself confidently.
She was in denial.
Then, came the anger.
“The bastard doesn’t deserve me!
After all I’ve suffered to have him and he would even take a moment to
THINK about being with me? I should head
straight back to Gryffindor
Tower and tell that prat
to piss right off! That I’ve come to my
bloody senses and now I see why he is unworthy of me! But I’ll…take him anyway…just to torture him
for not jumping at the chance to be with me!
Sodding bastard…”
“Please, God,” the Ravenclaw closed her eyes and clasped her
hands together. “Please make Harry
understand that no matter what he’s done…I love him, I want him. Please bring him back to me, I need him! If you do, Lord, I promise, I’ll never shed
another tear. I’ll…be a good girlfriend;
a proper girlfriend. I’ll take care of
him. And…I’ll…stop swearing. Please…” Cho pleaded, bargaining with a
higher power. “And I’ll…cut back on the
sex…some of it…”
The tears fell for an hour with no words uttered from the
pretty girl though her mind continued to tell her she’d never see him
again. Depression was familiar to the
Ravenclaw. Every boy in her life,
besides Michael, had brought her to this state once or twice. None like this, however.
“Fine,” Cho said to herself, wiping the tears away. “If he doesn’t want to be with me, I can’t
bloody well force him. I’ve accepted
everything else about our…relationship, and I suppose I should be able to
accept that it’s come to an end…” she told herself, feeling that familiar
feeling of acceptance over changes in her life beyond her control.
The Ravenclaw lay down on her bed and balled up in a fetal
position. “I won’t admit it,
though. I won’t press charges and they
can’t make me! He’s not going to
jail. I’ll deny everything. I’ll say…we’ve been in a secret
relationship. A love relationship. They’ll see we’re in love. They’ll see it in my eyes and in his. And they won’t believe that someone could
possibly fall in love with their rapist, so they’ll know it’s true! Yes, that’s it! Ginny will dump him when she finds out what
he’s done. And I’ll…pick up the
pieces…because he won’t be in Azkaban…”
Cho had entered a stage that wasn’t apart of the original
five, unless she had been sorted into Slytherin…cunningness. She promised herself that Harry would be
hers, no matter his noble heart. His
heart, and he along with it, belonged solely to the Ravenclaw.
*******************************************************************
For the two hours of sleep the Ravenclaw got, she was
plagued with dreams of Cedric yelling at her for loving someone who hurt
her. Then, much to her dismay, Cedric
turned into Harry, yelling at her for loving someone who hurt. Then, even more so to her displeasure, Harry
turned into Cedric...lying cold, six feet underground. Cho woke up to a tear drenched pillow. Her heart felt as though someone had torn it
from her chest. It was similar to the
feeling of watching Cedric’s lifeless body appearing out of the maze in that
fateful final task. But it was the boy
who was crying and yelling on top of him that had caused her pain. More pain then she ever imagined
possible. More pain than she had
experienced after the Hogwarts Express.
As Cho cried in her shower, apologizing to God for going
back on her promise, she had given up hope that Harry would in the castle that
morning. In fact, she was sure he had
either run away from Hogwarts in the night, or allowed the Aurors to come and
take him. As she brushed her teeth,
ignoring the chatter of her friends, the pretty girl knew deep in her heart
that he was right. It was insane for her
to be in love with him. How could she
love her assailant? How could he not
turn himself in for the crime he committed?
She knew it was the right thing to do as she walked through her common
room with Terry, heading toward breakfast.
It was the right thing for Harry to do because she would still never
tell. Cho knew he was right, regardless
of what her heart wanted.
Then again, Harry didn’t always do the right thing. She prayed to God Harry had one more rule to
break.
The walked to breakfast was a silent one for the
Ravenclaw. Well, verbally on her end it
was silent, Terry made worried small talk the entire time down. And verbally on her end because Cho’s mind
was still trying to convince herself that Harry was right. And verbally on her end as well, because her
heart was countering everything her mind was saying.
But what about the
Weasleys, he wouldn’t give them up, so maybe he’s not locked away in Azkaban!
she thought hopefully.
What about the Weasleys
indeed! If they found out what he’s
done, he’ll lose them anyway, just as he said!
…then…I…can be his
family…
How unbelievably
selfish you are, Cho! Harry’s never had
a proper family, as you know from what he’s showed you and shared with
you. The Weasleys will love him and…take
care of him like he’s always…wanted…needed…
BUT I NEED HIM! I LOVE HIM!
WHY CAN’T I TAKE CARE OF HIM? I
have been all term, haven’t I?
It’s his choice, isn’t
it? Maybe he doesn’t see…family with
you…
But he…loves me…too… He could…if he gave me a chance…
But it didn’t matter what Cho’s mind or heart had to say on
the matter, it was what Harry had to say.
It was always what Harry had to say when it came to them. He started their ‘relationship’ and now he
had to power to stop it. And as the
Ravenclaw walked into the Great Hall that morning, scanning the Gryffindor
table and NOT finding her love sitting there, she knew how Harry had used his
power.
Feeling a tear coming to her eye as she walked behind Terry
slowly around the Table of the Intelligent, Cho heard a voice calling her
name. A Gryffindor. Not the Gryffindor she wanted.
“Jia…er, um…Cho, hang on,” Cormac’s shout stuttered as he
rushed around her table.
Cho wiped the tear set to fall away from her eye before
turning around to see him looking just as nervous as he had in the beginning of
the school year. She marveled for a
moment at the sudden change, having not seen it since he fingered her. The Ravenclaw felt the breakfast she hadn’t
eaten yet rise in her throat from the memory.
“Yes, Cormac?” Cho answered, swallowing hard and trying to
keep her voice from cracking.
“Uh…” he stuttered once more, nodding at Terry as the
Ravenclaw boy sat down. “How…how are
you?”
Well, I’m in love with
my rapist who loves me and is probably on his way to Azkaban right now. But other than that, life is spectacular!
Cho thought hatefully.
“Brilliant,” she lied, not hiding it from her voice.
Cormac nodded longer than necessary as if nodding to
something in his own mind. “Right. Glad to hear it. Look, Cho…I was thinking…perhaps…we
could…give it another go. I mean…you
have…misinterpreted things between me and…”
“HERMIONE!” Ginny’s angry voice shouted through the Great
Hall. Cho looked toward the source of
the voice and saw that Ginny was still outside in the hall. Her yell only entered the dining area when a
few students swung open the large doors.
Soon she was out of sight as the doors closed.
Cormac also seemed distracted by the sound of his crush’s
voice. He sighed heavily before turning
back to raven-haired girl. “Honestly,
Cho. I think we…things…just
got…confusing. And I…still really…like
you. I thought we were getting on well…”
Cho listened to the seventh year Gryffindor begging for
another chance with her, but she knew it was pointless. Her heart belonged to another. And if she couldn’t have him, she’d rather be
alone. The Ravenclaw just wished she
could hear his voice once more before he had been shipped himself off to
prison.
“Ginny! I love you!”
That wasn’t what she had in mind. And the visual of Harry, not being in prison,
but now swinging the little redhead around outside the now closing doors, was
not what she wanted to see either.
Cormac seemed to notice that interaction too which warranted
a deeper sigh of unhappiness. Cho
imitated it. Harry obviously wasn’t
going to Azkaban, but he wasn’t going to be with…
“So as I was saying…” Cormac began again, but Cho didn’t
hear a thing. The doors of the Great
Hall suddenly opened once more and in walked a smiling Harry. A black-eyed, bruised up Harry, but a smiling
Harry nonetheless. Cho watched her love
watching her as he walked down the aisle between the Ravenclaw and Slytherin
tables. Cormac was still babbling
unaware that his housemate was coming up quickly behind him. But Cho didn’t worry about his safety, she
could care less, Harry seemed to be eyeing what he wanted.
“Excuse me, mate!” Harry said pushing passed Cormac. Before he could protest, or the stunned
Ravenclaw for that matter, Harry handed Cormac Cho’s school bag before wrapping
his arms around the pretty girl and kissing her deeply.
In that one kiss, the pretty girl was well past Heaven; a
place only making love with that person had taken her. The only thing she felt was his strong soft
lips on hers, strong gentle hands on her back and in her hair, and strong warm
body wrapped around hers. All of which
caused her to tremble in his arms.
“No, it’s okay.
Sometimes friends kiss!” Eden
said to a shocked first year at the table.
But the pretty girl didn’t hear that. Cho couldn’t hear the entire Hall’s
collective gasps. She didn’t hear Terry
cheering behind her. And she didn’t hear
Cormac protesting. But Harry seemed
have.
“Sorry about that, McLaggen,” Harry smiled at her, then
turned to the seventh year boy behind him.
“But it’s only fitting I kiss my…girlfriend first thing in the morning,
don’t you think?” Cho shook a little
harder in his arms as she clung to his neck.
“I do believe you…know all about kissing girlfriends… you kissed mine,
didn’t you?” Harry asked happily. Cormac
began to stuttered and looked at Cho.
“Oh, no, mate, not this one,” he smiled, pointing toward Cho before
snaking his arm back around her waist.
“No, if you touch her ever again, I’ll break your fucking fingers,” he
said cheerfully. “No, the other
one…I… Thank you, mate,” Harry said
sincerely, holding his hand out to the confused Cormac. Slowly, the seventh year boy lifted his hand
and shook the Chosen One’s. “I just
found out…and I…can’t thank you enough.”
“I… Uh…” Cormac stuttered again, narrowing his eyes at Harry
and Cho. “Don’t…mention it?” he said
unsurely. “Hang on…Potter…does that
mean…that you and Ginny have…broken up, then?”
Harry turned to the trembling smiling girl in his arms. He nodded.
“She’s all yours, mate! I’ve got
my hands full with this lovely.”
“Right! Thanks,
Potter!” Cormac said quickly, dropping Cho’s bag and rushing away from the new
couple, already calling Ginny’s name.
Harry kissed her once more and Cho could only kiss him back,
having been unable to speak since he walked in.
Never had it felt so good to be kissed.
It felt so good to the Ravenclaw, she could barely contain her shaking. And deep down she knew that what made her and
Harry’s kiss so extraordinary was the quiet and not so quiet whispers of her
fellow schoolmates receiving more than breakfast that morning. Cho could hear the shock, and even envy in
some of their voices as they watched the loving couple embracing without shame
and without worry. But none of the
whispers and comments stopped their display; except one.
Suddenly, someone cleared their throat.
Cho turned to see the sitting Terry beaming behind her, but
trying to contain himself in the whispering Great Hall. “Uh, Cho, not that you two aren’t making
about ninety percent of this school jealous right now, but perhaps…you two
could…use some time alone…to discuss your NEW budding relationship?” he winked.
“Brilliant idea, Terry.
Told you he was a good bloke, Beautiful…” Harry smiled.
“Come with me, Miss Chang.”
Cho could only giggle and follow along after he clasped
their hands together. They walked in
silence out the Great Hall but their smiles spoke volumes to each other and
anyone paying attention; which was everyone.
And although she couldn’t help but smile at her love, Cho was curious
about the black eye. She was fearful to
ask if perhaps he had told on himself, was arrested, and then fought his way
out at the last minute.
For goodness sakes,
Cho! You sound like you’re apart of the
Harry-the-Hero fan club! Stop it!
she scolded herself.
And then Cho realized she didn’t have wonder about anything
anymore in regards to her boyfriend. She could ask him anything and he’ll always
answer her truthfully. “Harry?” she said
timidly.
“Yes, Love?” he smiled at her as they entered the corridor,
shocking even more students who had missed the show inside the dining area.
Cho stopped them and faced him. She gingerly touched his swollen, smiling
eye. He winced only slightly but kept his
smile. “Your…eye? What…happened?”
Harry’s smile disappeared as he looked away from her. Down the hall he could see Ginny leaning
against a wall with her arms folded around her, and Cormac doing all he could
to console her. Cho traced his line of sight
and saw the two Gryffindors as well.
Ginny glared at them through her tears.
“Well,” Harry began, still looking down the hall. “I…had to…tell Ron
this morning, didn’t I?” he said solemnly, looking back at Cho. “Let’s just say his finding out that his best
mate cheated on his little sister didn’t fair well. Can’t say I blame him for his actions. And I didn’t fight him back at all. Hermione had to pull him off of me…”
Cho’s heart sank as she heard the sadness in her assailant’s
voice. “And…what about…Hermione…is she…”
she asked tentatively, hoping her love had at least managed to keep one friend.
Harry sighed, and Cho felt her heart sink lower. “Hermione’s…disappointed in me for what I’ve
done…”
The Ravenclaw sinking heart stopped. “What you’ve done? Harry, you didn’t tell her about…”
The Gryffindor smiled sadly and touched her cheek, trying to
ease her worry. “No, Love, I didn’t tell
her…that. I’d be in Azkaban for
sure. But…she didn’t like the fact that
I…cheated on anyone…especially her friend.
But…after I spoke to Ginny about it last night and she yelled, screamed,
cried and slapped me before running to her room, Hermione sat with me for the
rest of the night. She asked me…do I
honestly love you and do I feel you’re worth what’s happened.” The seventh year was holding her breath as if
she didn’t already know the answer. “I
told her I loved you with all my heart; that you’re the only person that’s kept
me from ripping apart at the seams from insanity; and that you’re worth more to
me than what I stood to lose. Namely,
the Weasleys. I was ready to….give them
up for you, Love. Hermione, though
disappointed, said she’ll always be my best mate and my family…”
“And me too, Harry,” Cho interjected. “After all we’ve been through…even if you
break my heart…again…I’ll always be your friend.”
Harry smiled at the pretty girl. “I’ll never break your heart, Love…” he
added, before lowering his lips to hers.
“Uh…sorry…uh…again, mate…” came a stuttering, confused, but
noticeably trying-to-be-civil voice. The
loving couple broke their kiss to see a redhead Gryffindor with his face the
same color as his hair. His bushy-hair
girlfriend was smiling faintly right next to him. “I…well, you understand…don’t you?”
Harry smiled at his best friend since his first year at
Hogwarts. “Yeah, Ron, no worries! I’d have done the same thing in your
position.”
Cho stood utterly confused at the sight of Ron Weasley
apologizing to Harry Potter for beating him up for cheating on his little
sister, while the two boys shook hands.
But before she thought to say anything, Ron did instead. “Sorry about her,” he said, gesturing over to
Ginny, now being held by Cormac, but still scowling at them. “Can’t believe…she’d kiss another bloke while
her boyfriend’s off fighting for our lives!
Wait to mum hears about this!”
“Oh, no, Ron, don’t…” begged Harry suddenly. “It’s going to be hard enough as it is for
Mrs. Weasley with our breaking up. Let’s
just leave as a mutual break-up. She
doesn’t need any details…”
“Yeah, because we’re rather short on those for the most
part, aren’t we, Harry?” Hermione said, raising an eyebrow to her best friend.
“Yes, we are, Hermione,” Cho chimed in, looking nervously at
the clever Gryffindor as she clung to Harry’s waist. “Sorry…about that…”
Hermione considered the new couple for a moment before
suggesting that her and Ron walk to class.
Cho was worried about the look in Hermione’s eyes more so then the still
scowling fifth year down the hall.
“Harry?” she called quietly, looking up into the face that was already
watching hers.
“Yes, Love. It would
seem that I may be able to not only get the beautiful girl, but keep the loving
family as well, thanks too…”
“No, no,” Cho interrupted him, shaking her head. “Hermione…”
“Yes, thanks to Hermione,” he continued, smiling brightly.
Cho narrowed her eyes at her boyfriend. “What?”
Harry chuckled lightly and kissed her forehead. The tension in her forehead from her
confusion eased with the touch of his lips.
“Hermione is the reason I maybe able to keep the Weasleys. See, last night after Ginny…well…Hermione and
I talked as I said. I may have gone
on…quite a bit about how much I love you, need you, and how you make me so
peaceful when you want me too. She’s my
best mate, Cho. She knows how pathetic
my life has been…until this bright light I…forced…came at end of my
tunnel. She begged me to tell her what I
did that was so wrong outside of cheating on Ginny. But when I struggled with myself to the point
of abandoning the entire idea of telling her, she simply said if I’m happy with
you, then I should be with you…”
“Oh,” Cho said, now understanding Hermione’s quizzical
looks. Now she was confused at how she
saved him with the Weasleys. “And with
Ron…how did she…”
It was the first time Harry let her go since he kissed her
in the Great Hall. The wonderful smile
he had since he ran inside the dining area had disappeared as he took a step
back from his girlfriend. “Love, I… Okay, this morning…after Ron beat the piss
out of me in our room, Ginny,” he said nervously, “was waiting downstairs. When I arrived downstairs, with Ron yelling
and threatening me, and Hermione telling him to calm down, Ginny pulled me to
the side. She said…she forgave me for
what I did with you; said no one’s perfect, not even me, and she understands
that you probably…threw yourself at me…”
“Oh, she did, did she?” Cho sneered.
Harry shook his lowered head. “Yeah, little does she know how much work it
took to get you to ‘throw yourself’ at me!
Bloody weeks!” he tried to joke, but couldn’t keep his smile. “But…she reminded me that…we could work
through it…and her mum and dad would have suggested the same thing if they
found out we broke up…because I cheated.
I didn’t know what to say…or do…”
Harry sighed, shook his head and looked into his love’s eyes. “As we walked to the Great Hall, Ron and
Ginny were arguing over her decision to keep me, while Hermione was walking
with me, watching me. Besides my face
being done in, I’m sure I must have looked like the world was coming to an end,
because that’s how I felt,” he added sadly.
“Without you…it would be…pointless…”
Cho took her love in her arms and held him, willing the
revisiting anguished look to disappear from his face. Harry held her tightly, kissed her hair and
rested his trademark on her forehead. “I
was set…to give it all up…for you…because if I…went back to pretending to love
someone else…and hurt you again…I would have chained my own self up in Azkaban
or…I would have taken your stance on the Dark Tower…”
“Harry…” Cho nearly cried at his words. She put her head over his shoulder again, and
clung to her love, visions of him on the ledge reaching for the clouds
tightened her arms around him even more.
“But Hermione, Love…” he began with hint of happiness in his
voice, “she…saw it in me. She knew what
I was feeling and she…helped me. Well,
she pointed out something I hadn’t realized…”
He lifted his head from his girlfriend’s shoulder, and she nearly smiled
at his renewed smile. “Before we walked
into the Great Hall, Hermione said, ‘But, hang on, Ginny, you kissed Cormac
while Harry was away, didn’t you? That’s
why he fought Cormac in the Great Hall.
So in a sense you, you pushed him into Cho’s arms over holiday
break…’” Cho smiled but narrowed her
eyes. She was well in his arms before
then, though trying to break-free. Harry
smiled, knowing she realized that too.
“I was shock, to say the least. I
didn’t know Ginny had kissed him…”
“But Harry, Cormac said it after we pulled you off of him,”
Cho said, thinking perhaps he was joking.
Harry shook his head.
“Love, my mind was solely on you.
I didn’t hear anything he had to say.
All I knew is that you…wanted to sleep with him, that your name and his
name were practically one after the Slughorn party on my map, and he was
telling his mates about how he was going to sneak to Edinburgh to finish something the two of
you…had started…” Harry swallowed hard
at his last words. Cho swallowed too,
bile that rising in her throat of what Cormac thought would happen. “Needless to say, Ginny wasn’t pleased by the
reminder, and neither was Ron. He hadn’t
heard McLaggen either that day.” Harry’s
wide smile was contagious and Cho caught it easily. “So that means…the Weasleys won’t know I’m a
complete bastard for what I’ve done! And
I may not lose them!”
“That’s brilliant, Harry!” Cho beamed, hugging him once
more, trembling in his arms from excitement.
As she leaned in for another kiss, however, Harry backed his head
away. His smile disappeared as a concern
look entered the green eyes she loved.
“Love…are you…absolutely sure…you want this?”
“Yes, Harry!” Cho said quickly, shaking from a sudden onset
of fear this time. “Please, don’t change
your mind!”
Harry squeezed her waist tighter. “No, Love.
I won’t. I just…want to make sure
that…this is…what you really want… This
is…what you rather…”
“I do, Harry! I…want
this! I want you! I love you!” Cho said even quicker as if the
faster she said it, the more he’d believe it.
Harry’s smile reappeared before he kissed his nervous
girlfriend. “You’re mad, you know that!”
he whispered to her smiling lips, breaking their kiss. “Completely nutters for wanting me!”
Cho still felt herself quivering madly in his arms. “I am!
You’ve made me that way…now you have to make it up to me,” she said,
smiling slyly at him.
The Gryffindor shook his head, his smile faltering. “Nothing I can do will ever make up for what
I’ve done to you…” he said sincerely, then put his finger on Cho’s soft lips as
she began to protest. “But I’ll be
damned if I don’t try…” The pretty girl
stopped her protests and smiled.
“…forever…if you let me, Love…”
The Ravenclaw shook so much, her lips began to tremble. “Do I have a choice?” Cho asked. “You’ll do anything I want…except let me go,
remember?” Harry smirked and
nodded. “We’ve already tried to give
each other up unsuccessfully, Harry…let’s not make another go of it. Ever,” she begged, caressing his cheek with
her ringed thumb.
“Okay, Beautiful,” he replied wholeheartedly. “I love you, Cho.”
Her smiling, trembling lips kissed the one she loved with
all her heart and healed soul. “I love
you too, Harry…”
